Lady Tie smiled "Consider the request done" as she nodded to her second who was on her sat phone quickly.
Lady tie continued "Tel is the home to the largest souq outside drew and the fifth biggest, the third biggest permanent one anywhere. You can bye anything there, if you can't find it, ask and the stall holder will have a" she made quote makes with her figures continuing "'a cousin'" she stopped making the signs.
She continued " that will be able to get it for you. Your average drewn has one a lot of them, I only recently discovered that business partner and family member terms are interchangeable in drewn. It is not how they think just a quirk of the language."
"Other than that Tel is really three cities..well four. It survived as a city state as all of the neighbouring nation had a sizeable number of their own people there so no one nation could take the place and it's river is navigable by large..well not that large by modern standards, but big enough ships.
It lies on the intersection of three traditional trading routes so is very cosmopolitan, it's." she was interupted Dame Sie shouted in leefen"how do you spell Drae Selek the guys back home don't have a clue and would rather not get the wrong person?"
"In a mo" she shouted back.
"Sorry, I will have to ask you an embarrassing question shortly, but I think my people are happy to request you, I would suggest a small embassy as that is what we are planning. Though your government might want to make a splash, the upkeep costs are high on larger buildings.
To be honest having a heavely armed embassy achieves little. If the local gov wants to take it they can the kinda have this thing call armed forces. If push comes to shove. And kinda makes your nation look like it has something to prove." she continued with a shirk.
"Visit the old oak inn, it's on the corner of the square...more diplomacy has happened there than any official building." she then looked sheepish
"OK sorry for asking but how exactly is your name spelt? When making a request you have to get everything right....mistakes have been taken advantage of before."

"My full name is pronounced Draexenilek Sei-Lerarelek. My first name, courtesy of my parents, means 'stargazer'. However, it's romanization is roughtly translated to 'Drae Selek', which, coincidentially, means 'star watcher'. Here is a sample of how it is written." The minister took out a copy of a ID card; it contained both his full name and the translation to Centralizan English. "As for the embassy, I agree. We ourselves prefer small, well-trained units to mass of conscripts... And about the inn, I will see. I always wanted to visit distant lands."

Dame Sie looked at the card then started spelling out the name down the sat phone.
Lady Tie smiled "She'll have to do that twice, you have no idea how much of a mess a miss-spelt name can cause."
"So ambassador" she smirked "where round here can we toast your new posting?"
--- With in seconds a message was sent to the nation it read.
"Greetings
We request Drae Selek as to be your ambassador to the commonwealth, we obviously do not demand him as he is your Minister of Internal Affairs. You may believe that someone else is better suited to the posting we will not object.
We request a small embassy and offer lady Tie as our ambassador.
Yours

( lol ) =Minister of Internal Affairs, Drae Selek= "Okay." The minister then remembered something which now could be very embarrasing. "This may sound strange, but I do not have a, uh... Private transport. I could still requisition a military hovercar and use it temporarily to show you the city, if you want to." He said. =Joint Chief of the Traditional Army, Colonel Horacio Ehrlich Mercado="Honestly, almost all aid is welcome. From military advisors to heavy panzers, to airships and seaships. "As for the other armies... Let's just say my army and theirs is a completely different topic." He paused. "When La Revolución began, the Traditional Army was just secondary compared to the Farsante Guard. He the state's money to improve his Guard, and the Traditional Army - then called the Chiemerican National Defense - had to use largely outdated equipment. When La Revolución began, he comanded his loyal guard to crush the rebels. We had expected an opportunity to prove our worth, but he did not listen. Were where told to hold our positions. When the rebels took out New Corneria, Farsante ordered that the National Defense had to be split and the Elite merged with his guard. This was too much for us. After the rebels reached Central City - now Centraliza City - we broke away. This was vital in Farsante's fall, as his Guard was too small to handle all the rebels." He made a short pause. "I can not honestly say that I see a need for a 'Progressive Army' or 'Space Fleet', but we have them. The 'Progressive Army' is composed by the rebels led by Sub-Comandante Correa. He prefers guerrilla tactics and insurgence combat methods, and his army was the bulk of the rebel's army. The Space & Sea Fleet Force is led by a robot only know as 'Lieutenant'. He helped La Revolución by shore-bombarding the Farsante's Palace, as well as cutting off any attempts to prevent his escape. He uses a strange mixture of tactics, among them there is the famous "Centralis Blitzkrieg", which combines the old methods of the Blitzkrieg with our current technology. Strange, but effective, I have to say..." He almost paused. "After Farsante was overthrown, there was a great turmoil in our country. Despite our differences, we all agreed that we had to do the best for Chimerica. While there was no formal agreement, we each had de facto a certain control over some territory, and it remained that way... Until the new Democracy decided only humans were smart enought to vote. DRL, a promising figure, emerged and many former revolutionaries, army officers, and sea officers flocked to his cause. This leads us to now. DRL decided that a Merged Army would be to unstable, and we all agreed. Thus, we keep some of our former autonomy." He almost paused again, and looked at a Centraliza National Map. "You could talk to either 'Lieutenant' or Sub-Comandante Correa if you wanted to. However, they hardly understand how a true army works." He turned to face his guest again.

And our current leader is human, dictatorial, and yet he says he depises racial inequality..." A vague smile could be noted on Helrich's face. "But well. Coming to the Space Fleet... It's in it's early days. We have no formal space technology of our own. There is the space port, but the only ships that ever landed here where not our own. We do have very efficient satellites and probe-ships." He explained.

Lady Tie smiled "Not to worry, I don't even have a license, never needed one and I never got round to it".
Sie nodded "I have one, but well my car is not exactly approved of by the foreign office.
But anyway we are not selective about our mode of transport, what ever you wish will be fine."
Tie shrugged "Well back home since I don't drive I tend to use public transport, cycle or, well, walk. Has the advantage of keeping me in shape and it gives me time to wined down."

( Hope I worded that right... ) "Oh, coincidence. I preffer using the public transport too. I like to think that by doing that I contribute to the country, in a small way." The minister looked at the street far away from the airport. "...There is a hoverbus stop outside of this space port. Coincidentially, one of the two buses using it has a path which ecompasses the city center."

ooc: perfect wording is not that common here ;-P
Sie smiled "I tend to use public transport as I value my sanity, shall we just say none of the cities of the commonwealth were built with private transport in mind. We have always been historically energy poor so it never made much sense.
Though it does mean our cities and towns tend to be a tad compact."
Tie chimed in smiling, her ears twitch "Well except for Drac, but that is kinda a recycled place. The Drewns don't let much go to waste and import other peoples...It is possibly the oddest city in the commonwealth outside Teer."
"But shall we make our way, I am eager to see you city."
Sie said quietly "Oh yes, we have some spices, herbs, various fresh food stuffs and some alcoholic old, bottles of drink in the craft, of course all in sealed containers as personal gifts to you and the SA. It is just our custom, and should you think it offensive, we will not be offended if you turn it down. Do not take them off the diplomatic craft if there is some issue with them, if there is...they were never here."

=Joint Chief of Air Force, Sea-Ocean & Space Fleet 'Liutenant'="Very well." Replied the Joint Chief, and the hovercar was soon speeding up. Soon, they were in the main street; a large momument could be seen. Taller than the rest of the buildings close to it, it was the Arga Zen - which meant, respectively "Nueva Luz" or "New Light". It was tall and thin, and on the top, was a shinning blue light. It's colour changed according to climate. As it was now blue, it meant it was 'good' (for centralizans, that is 'warm' ). The other monuments were relatively interesting too; the Greater Zenith, the Lone Star, and the Xilith-Dei. The most important building, however - which 'Liutenant' eventually wanted to talk about - was his Joint Chief Office. To the naked eye, it was a smaller version of the Neo Kremlin; Light gray instead of white, and with a more 'western' approach to outer decoration. On the inside, it was all a 'non-biological Sentient' could wish for. After showing his guest the city's fully-automated docks, he 'drove' back to the JCO. "There we are." He said. "This is my Joint Cheif Office. From there I lead my part of the Army." He explained, 'parking' the hovercar as he did. Vrenger poked her head out of the vehicle and looked up. "I might not know my land geography that well, but this looks like something out of that Russia place. I'm pretty sure I'm not in Asia right?" She chuckled. "Tell me of this place then. Its history. And if you are up to it, more of yourself. You seem like a very unique person."

=Max du Pont, "Marginal Duties" Minister=The minister extended his hand and said "Thank you, I am the Marginal Duties Miniter, Max Du Pont, from Centraliza." When the appropiate moment came, he wishepered to his Main Officer: "Hey, get some translation system! I do not understand a thing!" The Main Officer went to make the on-board translation system as much 'portable' as he and his crew could... Well, this was going pretty well for no one being able to understand each other.. "Well, I suppose we should head for the palace..." Eric motions for the delegates to follow him down the hatchway, into the almost labyrinthine halls of the flak tower. The interior, made almost exclusively of concrete and reinforced steel, was quite foreboding. Soldiers were posted at various intervals, including the elevator that the Governor was leading them to. "We shall be leaving for the Imperial Palace, much less stuffy than this old thing..."

Alcohol is not seen as any taboo around... They do limit who can buy it, thought... and how much." He paused. "But all gifts will be well received by our nation, and our leader... As for the transport, here it is coming!" said the minister, as he looked at a hoverbus passing by. The buses have to stop at every stop where a citizen is waiting, so unless there was nobody, the bus has to stop. The minister wondered how much this will upset his guests... Governor-Militant IX"I see. That actually sounds a lot like the Emperor. Though, dictatoral is an understatement. But, if you wanted, I could probably see to getting your army aid. Weapons, tanks, defensive guns, aircraft, etc." =Joint Chief of the Traditional Army, Colonel Horacio Ehrlich Mercado="Well, DRL actually preffers the word 'Autocratic' to refer as him... As if that made a difference, ha-ha." He said. If he could have had a cigarrete now, he would have let out a puff of smoke. That is, if he had ever smoked... "As for the aid, very well. I only have one thing to say." He paused. "That is, in the case we later have to repaid the aid in money, our Army's budget is rather limited, as of now. In the case that money is not a problem... Then all is welcomed." He said. You seem like a very unique person." =Joint Chief of Air Force, Sea-Ocean & Space Fleet 'Liutenant'=The Joint Chief felt flatered. He was now experiencing the 'I am important' feeling; thing that, even with his power, did not feel until now. He was eager to answer any questions. "Well, when Farsante was overthrown, this building was to be a secret Russian embassy. Or more properly, an 'aid' to the paramilitary group LIMPIA. LIMPIA means "cleanse" in spanish, by the way. It was sort of an unofficial secret police; a way to keep his most radical opponents at way." For a moment a deep thought came to Liutenant's mind. Even through Farasante was publicly hanged by the short-lived Democracy that came after, nothing was ever mentioned of Major Padilla, LIMPIA's leader... His mind came back to the situation at hand. "When we took power, this place was finished by the outside. However the internal structure was almost... Well, empty. When the Space & Sea Fleet was officially recognized, we took control of it and made it our headquarters. I call it my 'home', as I spent more time here than in any other place. The reason why took it over, is because I wanted to convert a place which might have been associated into something as evil as LIMPIA, into a place of hope. The Space & Sea Fleet is the primary researcher for space technologies in Centraliza... He,he, you can say we are making the future." If he could have smiled, he would have done so now. "As for me... The story is longer, and not so easy to resume..." He made a short pause. "When I was first build, I was designed to be the perfect aid for any Admiral or General. When I was first created, I was no more than a self-sustainable battle calculator. But not only I could calculate the outcome of a battle; I could make a plan, as well. An almost perfect one; let's just say that if I had no strategict opponent at the time of battle, I would allways win." He paused. "But my early days were not as a General's Aid or Admiral's Aid. I was deemed ineffective becuase 'a machine could never replace a man', they said. I was sold cheaply and used as a servant at a restaurant. Some people were nice; one even said I was the best waiter he ever meet..." He looked for a moment at a photo of a current Centralizan Minister hanging on a wall. "But others were cruel. One even tried to take away my helmet; I had to pay him to be able keep it. Otherwise, I would have had to give it to him... Then came the Silent Revolution. Many robots fled their countries without leaving a trace. To this goal, a small group of robots turned down the entire energy network in many countries. In less than two days, many robots had fled to remote positions in Africa or South America. I did not escape by my own. A friend I had meet at the restaurant helped me escape; he had his own seaship back then. We fled to Uruguay, South America, were we would later get invited to the inauguration of a small scout-seedship. The Central Izar..." He paused a little. "Then you might have heard of the rest; the Central Izar had to try to get to another planet, but a fatal flaw in the desing prevented it from leaving the solar system. The goverments that build it rejected the people it was carrying, thus it had to search for a relatively 'free' space to take in this world. I for a long time have been a SELF activist. It's leader to be precise. That means 'Sentient Engine Liberation Front'. In our initial days, we would secretly aid globally any robots trying to rebel. Then Farsante came to power, and our organization was branded 'subersive' and 'criminal'. At this point I was forced to disband the organization. Why I did not rebel?, you might say. My friend was captured by Farsante's Guard. As the insurgences ocurred, the human Democracy took power, but decided to leave him in prison for some reason. Then DRL and his group took control; he raided many of these political prisons, and most, if not all, of the prisoners there joined his cause. With my friend freed, not only I was free to rebel. But also felt I had a debt with who freed my friend... I joined La Revolución in it's early days, and thanks to my effort thousands of robots fought under the Revolucionario banners. Today, I spent most of my time here, at the Space & Sea Fleet Headquarters; ever vigilant for anything that may try to harm my friends." He said. "Now, would you like to take a look inside? I now I bored you with my long talk, so I think I could please your eyes." He explained, and the hovercar's doors opened. "We shall be leaving for the Imperial Palace, much less stuffy than this old thing..." =Max du Pont, "Marginal Duties" Minister=The Main Officer came just in time; the long translation computer being transported by his personal guard. "So' sir, this is the translation computer. Here you have it mobile!" Said happily the MO. Max Du Pont, meanwhile, would have facepalmed had he not been in front of foreing people now. Instead, he tried to see if the computer worked fine, and after following inside the hatch, he asked: "I suppose I am not intruding anything by following you there, I think?" The computer translated the message into the foreing language as best as it could.

What we have is on our warships. Any of that interest you?"
