"I'll get that to you when I get back to my office."
And that won't be until the end of this conflict more than likely.

Nova-voice : ''Maybe we could be in some helps in that matter... General of the Anean, you could use our Securized Outsider Network to communicate with your Nation, as the Aatuylva Officer can also do to contact his government... This is all possible thanks to our Tech-Exchange, a few months before, that we strengthen the capacity of this Comm.Network, between other things...''
Blade-Voice : ''As for the weapons those creatures use... We know they have powerful laser-type weapons, from the waves of ''soldiers'' they sent at us... Also, from what the General just said, many of our weapons will have a limited effect on them, except for higher than light ballistic weapons and heavy lasers.''
''Also, now might be the best time to ask this... Anean General, do the Pudrian Enemy can have some device that would disrupt or limit the use of radars or guided-type weapons, like the Atmospheric missiles ?''
''Since yesterday, we experience some troubles at selecting long-range targets with our ships that are closer to the Island...''

"If they do, then I am unaware of it. And what atmospheric missiles are you talking about? We might have a use for those in the future. The only ones I am aware of are the ones on my battleships.
"Anyway, I feel that we must discuss the Welhan Protocol. That is only because we are facing a Pudrian threat and as a result, I intend to follow the protocol to some extent. It's mainly for safety purposes after a war, but it does have very heavy costs.
"And before you ask, no, this was not my Colonel's, Nakhi, protocol. It was Emperor Welhan's."

Kraz was certainly not having a good day. The First Speaker showing up of course made it just that little bit worse. He loathed and hated the self assured leader of the legislative branch with a passion that had been growing for years.
"So what do we know of these cyborgs that are all the rage these days?" asks the First Speaker.
"Squat and you know it. Now if you would excuse me I have subordinates to yell at," replied the big cat.
"Aww, but Umfaro is the only one in the Tower right now." The First Speaker's tail was wagging. He was enjoying this. "And he'd probably wet himself if you showed up to yell at him. Its a wonder he made it this far."
"Indeed. Now please First Speaker, unless you have some business to discuss..."
The fox nodded. "Nope. Just hanging out for if you need my help with the bubble maker that could kill us all."
Kraz frowned. "If you're only here for PDS sign off duty... you can do that in your apartment." The Supreme Commander really wished he could kick Lenord out. He took a few steps through a door way and spun around. "Because if we're going to have to fight some sort of anti-life army that could be sailing in any minute, I really don't need you distracting me."
Lenord nodded. "And the nuke protocol if that's needed. And emergency sessions of the chamber. And a hug. You seem like you need a huge Krazzy." Lenord had begun to realize the last couple months why his predecessor had always seemed a tad strange. Because he himself was becoming such.
Kraz had noticed this of course. And that is why he shut and quickly sealed the door he had just stepped through. It would keep the First Speaker away long enough for him to get to the Tinisian equivalent of the war room.
----
Back in the meeting, Commander Gothor was curiously listening to the conversations going on. When mentions of the Welhan Protocol came up his tailed raised a bit.
"Well I'm glad that its not the kind of plan demanded by a Colonel. You say you'll follow it to some extent. I fear you might try to tie our hands in tossing these creepers off our planet with phrasing like that. Perhaps my nation shouldn't care so much about a limit for which the planet can fall to them as we'd probably be over run long before that due to our proximity to their spawn point. Of course if they're as bad as you folks seem to be claiming, I'd expect to see us dropping nukes on our beaches to keep them at bay. They can be killed through sufficient nuclear explosions yes?"

"Yes, nuclear weapons kill them. However, it will only delay them. They NEVER stop attacking. I only recommend nuclear weapons as a last resort delaying tactic.
"Now if you wish to not care about something that could very mean life or death for all the inhabitants of this planet, even those unaffected, then have fun with that. I won't stop you, but I will say that's a stupid decision.
"As for tying your hands in getting these things off, you're damn right I am. I don't have the entire Anean military at my disposal. If I did, I could do this singlehandedly. But I need help.
"And that is for two reasons. One, it gives us a chance to build stronger ties. Possibly weapons trading between each other and even learn tactics from one another. Two, I could order that whole island sunk and whatever on it destroyed, but I can't do that without your permission. If this was an Anean planet, I would have done that already.
"And when I said I would follow it to some extent, I meant the prisoner parts of it. For example, if a soldier was captured by the Pudrians then recovered, he is to be executed. That is to be sure he or she was not assimilated. If it is early or even in the middle of assimilation, then you'd never be able to tell what happened. And that is a danger.
"Anything else you'd like to add?"

Commander Gothor shook his head to indicate that he didn't have any more at this time. Gothor was coming to respect the general a little bit, mostly because he realized IX was getting on his nerves. Gothor considered someone irking him a sure sign of a confident leader.
However, the raccoon member of the Tinisian delegation raised his hand. "Umm... hope I'm not speaking out of turn here. But I suspect some of the, err, posturing here might ended by a, uh, full debriefing on the subject of the enemy. I mean, data sheets might be useful, and so might knowing each other's favorite tactics, but if they are a menace of the type that you report, they no doubt have their own tactics and means of thwarting their enemies that we really should know about before we take the fight to them. Saving lives is important and so going in blind is unhelpful. Your soldiers might be able to avoid their traps, but as the rest of us do not, attacking them would be suicidal given our current knowledge.
"Er, sorry that I did not introduce myself. I am Analyst Scron. It is my duty to figure out weak points in the opposition that can be exploited. Be they conventional tactical methods or out side the box procedures. For the later, you say they are partially inorganic yes? If they have high percentages of magnetically susceptible materials perhaps they could be slowed by creating large magnetic fields at key bottlenecks. Of course if this idea seems silly, its because I am ignorant of what we are faced with. I need information in order to do my duty. Ignorance is death."

Another wave of reconaissance aircraft were just beginning to enter the territory, a pack of MZM10's. Small aircraft, often suited to wild-weasel (hazard-clearing and detection) missions. Although hazard-clearing was definately not within the scope of this sortie (Obviously).
Blinn said, "Pardon my bluntness: But you're explanation thus far isn't working wonders for cooperation for us. People aren't going to just shrug and wait to be vaporized if this 45% threshold is reached. We are looking at an existential threat from two sides here. The Pudrians and apparently, The Anean Empire by way of the Welhan Protocol. This condition really isn't inspiring cooperation for me, it is however, inspiring terror and you're forcing us to have to even consider something which I don't think I have to mention.
General, I am under-stating this when I say: I am hard-pressed to share anything of military value with someone who would turn against us and systematically execute every last one of my people.
With that said... General, I need you to convince me.
Sure, I want to cooperate and share, I want to fight along side someone too. But General, I'm also a machine and certain conditions must be met before I can proceed.
I know you have your doubts about my species in this particular conflict, especially since I've been less than nice. So let me tell you this to put those doubts aside: Based on what we've observed from our reconaissance flights and what we have heard so far: My species does not consider the Pudrians to be a sapient life-form.
After hearing of their arrival, while on the way up here, we sent a message to them."
Tlorgan looked interested, as he hadn't heard what this message was yet.
Blinn continued, "You're going to laugh, I'm sure.
The message was an attempt at diplomacy. We had to explore the possibility, no matter how unlikely, that perhaps the Pudrians might respond more favorably to overtures from an inorganic species.
Obviously, they did not.
I can provide you with the message we sent.
If it's any further consultation, their response to our attempt at diplomacy was to shoot down one of our Dachahachiy UAV craft, which self-destructed before reaching the ground.
But I digress. General IX, Convince me why I should cooperate with you. Convince me that you are not as much a threat to my country and her people as the Pudrians. Convince me that you're not also an existential threat."

General IX
"I cannot convince you of anything other than what I could be doing right now and what I am doing. I could be back home beginning evacuation. I could be stay at home and defend my island. I could just watch your armies fight the Pudrians with no hope of survival.
"However, I refuse to do that. I am out here risking my life and the life of my soldiers and my people to save this planet. I am moving ships into orbit now with more troops.
"If you don't want to cooperate with me, fine. If you don't trust me, fine. If you think I'm a threat, I don't care.
"Let me ask you something, since I have not had that chance yet. If the Pudrians made it to your country, would you not fight to the death to hold them back? What if, unlike us, you had someone that had fought them before and knew how to defeat them?
"That is your advantage right now. You won't have to make a last stand at your capital or something. Let me tell you a bit about our first war with them.
"We lost our whole empire at one point. We were besieged on the capital for years. Eventually we broke through the blockade by bringing together what was left of resistance in the galaxy. We stopped them. It was a long war, but we stopped them. By the end of it, ten trillion people were dead. That's a number that most people cannot even begin to fathom. It destroyed the galaxy and the next two hundred fifty years was reconstruction. They destroyed one of the most powerful empires in the galaxy and almost destroyed the most powerful.
"You would have had to live in that war to truly understand. But I hope that I could give some insight on the reasoning behind the Protocol. I am not going to follow it for the most part. About the only part I will follow is the prisoner policy. I don't want to destroy this planet. I enjoyed the last few months here.
"When they tried to assimilate me, they left something with me. A hatred of their race. You would have had to experience it to understand that. I am here to make sure that that does not happen. I'll say it again, if your planet is threatened, would you not take all the help you can get?
"I'm just going to stop talking here and let someone else say something."
I motioned Nakhi over and whispered to him, "If this meeting gets any worse, I want you to order the evacuation procedure. Also, notify the Emperor of our evacuation if it comes to that."
Nakhi said, "What about the Pudrian threat?"
"Please don't do that. He will glass this planet without a care in the world."
"Understood General." He walked back over to where he stood before.

Blinn shut off the camera and stormed out of the room. "Sir. Sir?", asked Tlorgan sternly. At the threshold of the door Blinn only paused a moment to say, "The Apparateur instructed me to end the conversation." "Where are you going?", asked Tlorgan "I'm getting out of the way before you loose any more time. I will confront this General IX later.", he said, "The ship is yours until I'm done with a major teleconference with the Apparateur. And it looks like one of our MZM10'a went down due to Pudrian fire. It doesn't look like we've lost him though." Tlorgan turned the camera back on and rejoined the conferrence. ----------------------------- 3T4R6 was able to slow himself down enough to avoid smashing into pieces on the ground. He was only getting intermittent power to the magnesser devices which kept it aloft after the AA beam struck his wing moments before. He was not an ornithopter so his attempts to flap wings didn't do much good. The only thing that did was firing the jet engine at a general down direction. 3T4R6 didn't have anyone on-board, it was just him. And what was a somewhat mindless data-gathering sortie had become suddenly very dire. After the pain from the direct hit to the wing had cleared though his queue, he shut down the jet and tried to move slowly and smoothly, trying not to draw more unwanted enemy attention, beyond his already conspicuous and noisy decent. The only way back was by ground, and even then, it was likely that the beach might be an uncrossable battleground if he reached it. Regardless, he got away from that landing spot as hastily as he could. To add to the danger was the fact that he had a very limited idea of where he was based on the observations taken from above. Although the data from the other two was coming in and it did give him a bit of an idea. Even though the MZS Fhtagn had confirmed that they were receiving his signals, there was no telling how long it would be before they'd get this far in. (I'm going to have to draw this at some point, but an MZM10 looks very similar to this: images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090426133640/zoids/images/a/af/Puterasu.jpgexcept with more substantial arms.) There were voices nearby, a sort of monotone mantra. Rhythmic but repetitive and mechanical, mumbling. He determined that the source of the sound was likely organic in the mechanism of it's production. Perhaps mechanical in it's origin. Pudrians were around. But they didn't seem to interested in him. As he was damaged, and probably not going anywhere any time soon. It was curious, as they didn't make any effort to scramble his communication now that he was down. Perhaps he was below the spread of their jammer. Or, perhaps they wanted those on the other end of 3t4r6's communications to watch and fear. What 3t4r6 didn't know is that the Pudrians were sizing him up, determining what kind of scavenging hardware would be necessary to scrap him. As they thought he was just a remotely-operated drone.

Blade and Nova listened, as the other Main Minds did, as the people of the Hive did too, while still trying to continue to work and live normally with a threat so close to them... They all listened carefully to what the delegates were saying, to what they said in secret without knowing about the micros... Thinking about what would be their next move, using all the available in formations... Making plans, coordinating mass of people for a common goal... It was one of the purposes of the Hive-Mind... and they would have to take control of the situation, before it will be too late. Nova-Voice : '' Outsiders, People from all the most influential Nations of this world... We listened to your debates and to this, interesting, exchange of in formations... You want datas, you want a plan ? We have a Plan !'' Blade-Voice : '' From all the infos we gathered before and the new ones exposed here, we have created this Plan of actions : '' --- nova225.deviantart.com/art/Nation-The-Rift-War-164629620?q=sort%3Atime+gallery%3Anova225&qo=0 --- OCC : Might add units and stuff, if you want. In order to progress further into the Island, the main beach of Murai must be taken and secure.-The South Fleet will provide a strong support fire, to give enough time for the Troop Transporters to land on the beach ; We have our Transporters ready at this base, if you need. -At the beach, we can expect some large packs of light troops, but also a few long-range vehicles, from the waves of Enemies we have already seen. -Half of the Earth Force of the Hive will be sent at the West beach as a decoy to draw their attention, just before the attack, the other half will go with your troops. For now, we can’t send too much Air Force, because of their Anti-Aircraft vehicles ; The Anean’s ship shows a good proof of that. After Murai Beach is taken, the forces of Aatuylva, reputed for their Forest/Jungle expertise, will infiltrate the forest of the East and West.-They will provide a flowing wall of resistance and their scouting and spying will prevent us from going into traps set by Pudrians Scouts or their side forces. -We will need to destroy whatever Jamming Device they have installed near the beach ; This will allow us to regain the FULL efficiency of any kind of guided-weapons or radars we have. After this is set, we will reform our forces and move toward to the center of the plain where, from what we have analyzed of the photos taken by the Anean ship… I apologize for this, we got them from your ship’s computer after you ''landed'' on our deck, we where scanning for any risk of explosion… Anyways…-Near the middle of the plain, it seems the Pudrians have made some sort of shielded and fortified position and since they have positioned many AA-Vehicles, along with an undetermined number of Armors, the Air Forces will be limited until we can take the AA out… -Maybe the Aatuylva scouts could escort the Anean demolition experts, in order to take down their AA system, then our gunships would be able to destroy the Enemy shield generators… if their technology is similar to ours. -The AA and shields down, we will use the full force of our Bombers to seriously thin their number and eliminate their Armors, at this position. Finally, our last push toward the center of Acronos and the Onos Portal.-We can expect that they will have seriously strengthened their position, since their arrival and the beginning of our assault. We can suppose they will have heavy shields, artilleries and a lot of troops. -Due to the size of the location, we could use our… Defense Satellite, without the need of a precise coordinate, to launch a first strike on them, to see if their shield can withstand 300Kt warheads… If this fails, we will have no other choice but to fight them directly, using all we got ! -If things were to look desperate, up to that point, while being so close to return them into the Portal… We might have to act accordingly… A desparate occasion calls a desperate solution… But I sincerely hope that we will not have to resort to that.

Alright, finally someone has a plan.
I said, "I like this. At least we can stop our bickering for the time being. I can get... one or two thousand soldiers here in a few hours.
"I was thinking, we will need a command structure. Unless there's one already in place, I would be more than willing to take command from the front lines. I intend to get on the ground and fight.
"Anyway, I am ready for anything. Just tell me what needs to be done."
Now that the politics and stuff are over for now, I guess I have to get back in the military mindset.

Graves pulled out his bone charms, kissing them. Finally...to battle... "We will follow our Kuunmiru to the gates of the underworld."
--------------------------------------------
P'rova eyed the silent escorts warily as they guided him to the comms equipment. They had to show him how it worked...... He made sure to talk in Aatuylvan, incase of listeners.
"This is Commissar P'rova. Get me Lady Secretary Volvolen."
"What is it my child?"
"The situation...is grimmer than expected. I suggest upping to Daemon alert level."
"Martial law is a tad strict for a single island."
"It isn't only these invaders we have to worry about. These...Aneans...are determined to...stop the invaders at any cost. Even 'planetary destruction' if you believe it to be possible."
"...It remains at Wraith. Do your require reinforcements?"
"...Yes. I suggest sending elements of the Haven Air Guard, and two Militia Battalions."
"...It will be done my son. Fight true."
It was done. Now he had to wait...

OOC: I've got permission from Anea and Miokalia to represent the Pudrians watching the drone...flying...dude. Another note, any thoughts will be effectively 'translated' from Pudrian...so if something doesn't mesh right, it's cuz it was lost in translation www.youtube.com/watch?v=GusLypfx7OQ A little music to set the tone/mood.
The aerial drone had become ambulatory, and was seeking to conceal itself. The scanners continued to track it, its communications with its source were like a beacon. The machine sent by the "outsiders/infidels" had been shot down as it attempted to acquire intelligence for its controllers. Observations were required in order to assess the technology. Threat level: Negligent. All scans indicate salvage is preferable to destruction. --Presence of Anean "outsiders/infidels" confirmed. Possibility of indigenous populations allying with Anean Scourge is 78%. Intercepted transmissions indicate mass mobilization from several varying "wholes/nations". Further fortification is required before Ascendance Protocols can take effect.--The Pudrian drones continued their observation of the enemy aerial drone. The likelihood of enemy incursion this far in was negligible. Current zones undergoing purging were near the coastline. Minimal chance of bombardment. Soon would come the order to take the drone. Multipurpose air units were in need, and it would make a suitable template and source for parts. --Suggestion: Anean presence dictates that Ascendance Protocols be expedited. Anean interference will push us from this biosphere. A presence in this galaxy must be established.-- --Purification must continue. Scans indicate that Anean presence is minimal. The current technologies of this world only pose a minimal threat. The Gateway must be studied and expanded to bring our full forces to bear. This world will be Purified. By His will.--
--Consensus must be reached. He is coming. We are bringing Him. We must act. Resources are at a minimum. Purifying of "outsiders/infidels" is required. They must not be allowed into the interior of the island. The Portal and the "tomb/womb" must be protected.----It is agreed. The Song of Purging shall begin.-- --"Discord and chaos, hear our cries! Death eternal to keepers of lies! Fire and Pain we shall rain from on high! We, once the rulers of the skies!
War and suffering, blights of all life, once and for all, we shall end the Night! Darkness and pain shall be put to the knife! All those of evil fear our bright light!
Cancer of Creation, we will end thee, once and for all, thus the decree. When all pain is gone, life will be glee. Once and for all, we shall be free!
We are the Saviors, so it is writ. No others are worthy, no others are fit. We will end anger, we will end hate And when we are done, all celebrate!
By His will, we fight to the death! With weapon in hand, to the last breath! Enemies of Harmony quiver in fear! The Saviors have come, the Pudrians are HERE!"-- ** **It would be in Pudrian, of course xP, so it would probably be akin to Latin chanting. Doesn't change the ominousness of the words though.

The chanting... I thought and hoped I'd never hear it again.
I got up and said, "I have... I have to go. Uh... something uh... came up."
I left the room as fast as I could. I think Nakhi might have an idea of what just happened. I just hope that he explains it.
