--- nova225.deviantart.com/art/Nation-The-Rift-War-164629620?q=sort%3Atime+gallery%3Anova225&qo=0 --- OCC : Might add units and stuff, if you want. In order to progress further into the Island, the main beach of Murai must be taken and secure.-The South Fleet will provide a strong support fire, to give enough time for the Troop Transporters to land on the beach ; We have our Transporters ready at this base, if you need. -At the beach, we can expect some large packs of light troops, but also a few long-range vehicles, from the waves of Enemies we have already seen. -Half of the Earth Force of the Hive will be sent at the West beach as a decoy to draw their attention, just before the attack, the other half will go with your troops. For now, we can’t send too much Air Force, because of their Anti-Aircraft vehicles ; The Anean’s ship shows a good proof of that. After Murai Beach is taken, the forces of Aatuylva, reputed for their Forest/Jungle expertise, will infiltrate the forest of the East and West.-They will provide a flowing wall of resistance and their scouting and spying will prevent us from going into traps set by Pudrians Scouts or their side forces. -We will need to destroy whatever Jamming Device they have installed near the beach ; This will allow us to regain the FULL efficiency of any kind of guided-weapons or radars we have. After this is set, we will reform our forces and move toward to the center of the plain where, from what we have analyzed of the photos taken by the Anean ship… I apologize for this, we got them from your ship’s computer after you ''landed'' on our deck, we where scanning for any risk of explosion… Anyways…-Near the middle of the plain, it seems the Pudrians have made some sort of shielded and fortified position and since they have positioned many AA-Vehicles, along with an undetermined number of Armors, the Air Forces will be limited until we can take the AA out… -Maybe the Aatuylva scouts could escort the Anean demolition experts, in order to take down their AA system, then our gunships would be able to destroy the Enemy shield generators… if their technology is similar to ours. -The AA and shields down, we will use the full force of our Bombers to seriously thin their number and eliminate their Armors, at this position. Finally, our last push toward the center of Acronos and the Onos Portal.-We can expect that they will have seriously strengthened their position, since their arrival and the beginning of our assault. We can suppose they will have heavy shields, artilleries and a lot of troops. -Due to the size of the location, we could use our… Defense Satellite, without the need of a precise coordinate, to launch a first strike on them, to see if their shield can withstand 300Kt warheads… If this fails, we will have no other choice but to fight them directly, using all we got ! -If things were to look desperate, up to that point, while being so close to return them into the Portal… We might have to act accordingly… A desparate occasion calls a desperate solution… But I sincerely hope that we will not have to resort to that. OOC : I just realized that I have no ideas what kind of troops you have ? I mean, you surely have ''soldiers'' for the naval/air/earth force, but did you bring ''vehicles'', like tanks/destroyers/gunships ? The other Nations seemed to approve the Plan ; The people of the Hive couldn't help, but to feel proud of that minor feat... Any things that would bolster their moral, in this troubled time, would be good, for everyone. As the other Nations were saying their approval, the Anean General's face suddenly changed, minors details... Stress ? Anxiety ? Fear maybe ? ...and the General discretely left the room. Blade-Voice : '' I hope you, Anean Colonel, will be able to provide your Troops infos, as your General would... We will need them.'' Nova-Voice : '' That's right. Now that we have a plan, we must quickly think about the organization of our Troops...'' '' For the Hive, all our Naval Forces are all used to seal the limits of the Island. 100 000 Earth Troops will be sent on the West beach, like said in the plan and 100 000, plus 50 000 additional converted Air Troops will be sent at the South beach. The rest of our Air Force will be waiting on the Aircraft carriers, for the Center attack.'' '' We don't have the exact number of the reinforcement you sent, feel free to add those details after... All Air Troops will have to also wait on the aircraft carriers, for the Center Attack...'' '' If you have Naval Troops, you will help with the support fire for the Initial attack on the South beach... Be aware of their long-range vehicles.'' '' For all Earth Troops, there's no need to sent more on the West beach for the distraction operation'', since the purpose will be to draw the attention of as much of the Enemy's troops as possible... For the South beach attack, Aatuylva troops will have to stay a bit behind, as you will be much more useful for the next part and to cover our flanks from the forests on the sides. Light ''armor'' vehicles might be useful for the initial attack, the more heavier types will have to be ''delivered'' when the beach is clear.'''' '' Any questions ? ...or infos to add to this survey'' of the available Troops ?''''

Colonel Nakhi Welhan"We have three hundred thousand soldiers on the ground. Of them, about sixty percent are our troopers, twenty percent are heavy weapons, one percent are commissars, ten percent are medics, five percent are snipers, and the last four percent are engineers. That is a rough estimate however." I looked down at my pad again. My order for soldiers was changed somehow. Apparently I am getting one hundred thousand soldiers and a... ultra heavy artillery cannon. That will definitely scare the hell out of the people here. "And I have another one hundred thousand on the way. We will be sending some GK-II tanks down from the ships in orbit. I think there will be about two hundred on those. Plus we have a massive artillery piece coming in. We will need a place to put that for the duration of this operation because it's really really big. "I also think that we can get a first wave of soldiers, about three to five thousand, here in a few hours. In a day, we will have the rest of the forces mobilized and on the way. We will also be bringing the battleship Enterprise down for air support. It has a decent amount of fighters and can serve as a carrier of sorts. At least for refueling if you don't mind allowing us access to fuel." OOC: Would I be able to pull Luca from the university to fight? She is a top commander of the Legion and of course vital. --- Links: AGF soldiersUltra Heavy Artillery

OOC: For Luca, remember she's only been there a day in character. So unless this thing was starting/happening during that day it would logically be either before or after.

Gothor weighed his options. He'd commit what he could under emergency orders. He wasn't 100% convinced of the threat of course, and figured a good deal of what was on display was simply posturing of a type he didn't understand. When Gothor announced Tinisian involvement he made it clear that until a decision was made back at home, that it would only be air forces involved, as that was what he could command. It would be up to the Supreme Commander to decide if anything else would be sent. Of course this commitment didn't seem to make Scron to easy.
"The Tinisian air force will not be needing to land on any air craft carriers. Jet type craft are well within range of our airbases. As for the rest, having us land just takes time better spent killing the enemy.
"Now, as for our additions, one does not need a superb guidance system that is susceptible to electronic warfare. All one needs is something like this," said the skunk as he pulled out a laser pointer. "Apply a non-naturally occurring color to the target and we can send a missile up its nose from a hundred miles off. If anyone wants a little help with air to ground strikes using this trick do let us know and we'll provide some lasers like this to help.
"Assuming no other emergencies, I may be able to provide, say, 20 airships similar to the one outside. Different makes and models of course as they say, some bigger some small. But all capable of either high or low altitude attacks. What more, though some see they're size as a weakness, I like to see it as an advantage to everyone else who is fighting. Nice big target and all. Not that I enjoy being shot at of course.
"But i addition to those, I can have three hundred fighters and bombers ready for duty within the hour."
Scron seemed to be fuming at this point. Gothor was in charge, but that didn't make the raccoon the least bit happy with Tinis signing on with this thing.

Stupid Accallian whore. There needs to be order. Mobilization. Although, something is to be said for her allowing the air cavalry units he requested... If he was lucky he'd get the Wraithriders...
Though P'rova sincerely doubted it.
It did not take long for him to be escorted back to the meeting...a quick conversation with one of the Primes got him up to speed.
He held his hand up for Graves to stop, as he was about to speak.
"At this moment, we have six Wraith Gunships, three Leviathan Battle Transports, ten scout and grenade tankettes each, and 600 Deep Patrollers and logistics support and supplies. In two days 600 more Deep Patrollers will arrive, as well as twenty IFVs, 6 Ontos Armor Hunters, and the rest of our supplies will arrive via short range helis. Refueling help from the Tinisians would be most appreciated. In another week we will have elements of the Haven Air Guard, possibly five more gunships and air cavalry units. At least a company, around two hundred fighting souls. Soon after the Leviathans will have returned with Two full Militia Battallions of 2400 fighters, and ten of their armored support vehicles. Supplies and logistics will take another three days to arrive as we will again be forced to use the shorter ranged helis. Normally, such a large amount of troops is moved by train, so there may be delays."

Called away to administrative things, Blinn relinquished control of operations in this theatre to Lumis 6IN4 (silvery-white Malych dragon).
Lumis 6IN4 contacted the coalition, reporting that Miokalia was going to mobilize 12 Suppression units of 20 mech-infs (2-3 soldiers operate a single device - pilot, gunner, other specialists.) in the next 36 hours. Additional units were also on the way. 30 artillery systems were immediately availible for deployment. They had a few different types of shells availible for use. A supply of additional weapons was also on the way with the 12 additional units.

(I'm REALLY deeply sorry for the wait, and for how late this post was to come... A lot of things to think about and many distractions, Life being what it is... I hope this post will ''resurrect'' this RP )After all the Nations had made their report, on their available troops and the kind of resources they could spare for the War Effort... Both Blade and Nova called for a pause of 15 minutes to ''digest'' the informations and to let go some of the growing tensions, caused by the imminence of the tomorrow great battle and the natural tension between the Nations... who were, for some, only as friendly and allied as needed to be for this unique situation... After the well needed break, what might have seemed an eternity for some or an occasion to deal with some businesses for others, Blade and Nova called the ''diplomats'' and the Officers of each Nations, to their respective tables... -Blade with the Aneans, on the Pyrus Aircraft-Carrier, south of Murai Beach. -Miokalia fleet, near the Corandus Pyrus Aircraft-Carrier, East of Acronos. -Nova with the Aatuylva and Tinis ''diplomats'', at the Naval Base of Key Island. ...with everyone in place, Blade started... Blade-Voice : '' From all the informations you have provided, regarding the present available troops and incoming reinforcements, we have come to a conclusion... This Battle Plan :'' nova225.deviantart.com/#/d2rwlhx ( Recommended to click on ''download'' to view Full Size !) As Blade was saying this, Nova entered a few commands, to let everyone see the Battle Plan on a separated small screen, complete with zooming controls... Nova-Voice : '' The Battle Plan is cut in 3 distinct Phases, for an easier management of our Logistic :'' -First Phase : The Beach AssaultAs soon as the extra reinforcements arrive, like the extra soldiers of the Aneans, which should be around tomorrow noon I believe... Our West Fleet will attack the West Beach to draw their attention there, while Us and Miokalia will move our ships near the South Beach, in order to bombard and provide a support fire for the shore-landing troops of Us, the Aneans and Miokalia. As soon as the South Divisions land, we will move to attack the right side of the First Pudrian position, where we believe the Jammer Device is located... Then we will converge to the left to finish claiming the Beach... Shortly after, the Aatuylva infiltration teams will land a little bit farther west of our position. -Second Phase : Central AssaultUp to that point, things should be good, for a start at least... Our West troops will finish the Pudrians at their position, then start to retreat back to the ships... After landing on the west part of Moira Beach, The Aatuylva troops will be heading west and into the forest... They shouldn't encounter much resistance and they will wait at the base of the mountain for the Final push... The Jamming device eliminated, aircrafts and gunships will be able to assist us for the Central assault, but they will have to be careful, as we believe the Pudrians gathered many AA-units... The Troops will divide into 2 groups ; First will concentrate on taking down the Shield Generators, while the Second will take their artillery. The 2 groups will then rejoin and finish the remaining threat. -Third Phase : Final PushThis part... will be the final showdown... Hoping we have enough Forces left and not too much casualties... We will move as one, until we reach the base of Onos Mountain ; There, before we continue, most of the Air Forces will throw the heavy stuff to soften them and their Shields, as much as possible, the rest will take a small outpost East before joining us... Hoping we will have diminished their number enough to draw them away from the Portal, the Aatuylva Infiltration team helped by the Anean demolition squad will run for it... and attempt to cut off their reinforcement source, the Onos Portal... If we are not enough to draw them away from the Portal or if the Initial Plan to take down the Portal doesn't work... ...The Hive will have to come with his... Last Alternative... Let's just hope they didn't have the time to settle too much and... let's hope we will have the strength to defeat them ! Blade-Voice : '' I know this is a lot to assimilate in one time, but we will have to remember this Battle Plan, if we hope to succeed... Until tomorrow Noon... I wish you can all rest well and we will provide food for those who will request it.''

During the 15 minute recess Scron had taken Gothor to a corner outside of most ears to share some thoughts.
"Yes Analyst?"
"There is something seriously wrong here, if you hadn't noticed," said Scron.
"I'm quite aware of your complaints from before. But we're here to watch as much as fight."
Scron shook his head. "Sir, I think you should reconsider our..."
"No."
"Then I will not be joining you."
Gothor paused. Scron was well within his rights to request to not to go into battle. But the sky admiral could very much use the raccoon's eyes.
Scron broke the pause. "Analyst Dave will be able to take my place most likely if you still need that kind of help. And I'm sure you will. But I can do my best watching the feeds here or even back home if they don't want me hanging around. And feeding you suggestions as usual, assuming the jamming doesn't get too crazy. But if I were to be there I'd be nearly useless."
Gothor was quite aware of why the analyst was not wanting to go. The raccoon had weighted the probabilities of returning alive and didn't like the odds. But Scron was also a trained soldier in addition to being a intel problem solver. And he had been in combat aboard a sky ship before. Battle with its usual risks would not phase him. But this was different.
Scron spoke again. "I understand why you need us to fight this fight. The risk this enemy poses, the risk the Aneans pose if we don't fight, the benefits of this battle just being there, the show of force, and all that political crap that someone in your position has to care about when posturing before other nations. All the same, the best we can hope for given the unknowns here is that we attain victory with heavy losses."
Gothor nodded. "What are our chances of success? I mean all of us, working together."
"My information is of course spotty on who the hell these guys are, how potent their weaponry is, and and... well if the Aneans have trouble with them, the upper level of total success is only forty nine percent baring unexpected interventions."
Gothor grinned. "If I die, make sure to use that math mind of yours to make sure its not in vain." And with that the skunk returned to the meeting.
-----
After the presentation of the battle plan, among quiet murmurs, Gothor decided to raise a paw, with fingers bearing wooden rings between his pads, to ask a question.
"Just so we're not missing vital information, what are the backup plans for the first two waves. Assuming success is fine and dandy, but if I die, I want to make sure everyone else isn't turning tail and running just because we're getting slaughtered in front."

Colonel Nakhi Welhan
I went over the plan in my head. Everything always sounds better on paper. We'd be going right up the middle. Our tanks will probably be among the biggest vehicles out there. Artillery support from wherever I set down the UHA will be constant, or as constant as that gun can fire. The Enterprise also has their fighters. Bah, I will leave this to IX when he gets back.
On that thought...
I said, "The plan so far seems like it will work. If you will excuse me, I have to find the General before he does something stupid."
General IX
Voices... the voices... can't take it anymore...
I must assim... no... suppress the Pudrian mind...
I must silence these voices...
I broke into a run across the carrier deck and ran right off the deck.
---
OOC: If you can't tell, IX is slowly losing his mind.

Last minute questions...
Understandable from outsiders that didn't shared the same, quick and useful mean of communication, exclusive to the people of the Hive...
-Words should be used only between members of a family and for special occasions- was a popular ''expression'' for the Hive's people, and right now, it was certainly one of those unique occasion.
As Blade was quickly looking at one of his screens, pressing a few buttons to expose the basic ''Retreat'' plan, he received a strange emergency thought about the General...
From what he heard, the General suddenly jumped from the Aircraft Carrier... This might be problematic, if the General was to die ''on'' an Hive Ship, especially at this crucial moment... Blade quickly ordered to bring back the General on board and to the Infirmary, as discretely as possible...
Blade-voice : ''To speak frankly, there's not much of a Retreat Plan, as this attack will certainly be our only chance to defeat them, before they grow too much in number, if I believe what the Aneans said previously...''
''But, just in case... The Ships will be kept on stand by, near the shore, to provide support if we have to retreat, and the aircrafts will do the same until they have to act for the Second Phase... We will also make sure, while we battle on the Island, that the Helicopters, Transporters and Troop Ships are ready to evacuate, if needed...''
Nova-Voice : ''Because of the terrain, the forests and the rivers surrounding the battlefield... the only secure extraction point, before and after we take the beach, is only, sadly, the Beach... Not much of a choice that we have here.''
Blade-voice : ''But we are confident that this operation will be successful, if we can all work together... It must work.''
''So, now that the last questions are answered, I close this War Reunion, and wish that the sounds of the Sea give you a much needed night of sleep... Tomorrow noon, we go to War !''
Shortly after the screens went silent, on the Pyrus Aircraft Carrier, Blade said a few quick words to the Anean Colonel, about what happened during the meeting to the General...

Shortly after the screens went silent, on the Pyrus Aircraft Carrier, Blade said a few quick words to the Anean Colonel, about what happened during the meeting to the General... Colonel Nakhi WelhanWhen I watched the tapes, I couldn't help but to break out in laughing. After a minute or two, I calmed down and said, "You know, I always thought the General was insane, but that just proves." I then got serious. "But... I have a feeling that there is something influencing him. Normally he wouldn't do that. If necessary, tonight I will talk with him. See how much I can force out. I know I need him ready for the fighting tomorrow."

Despite his rather gung-ho attitude, Gothor was not particularly keen on the failure plan. But it was better than nothing. All the same, when he got back to his ship he began to relay a number of orders, both summoning any available airships, and instructing them to fly light for everything other than weapons. The island was not an excessively large distance from Tinis and if they ran out of basic food supplies, restocking was not out of the question from home. Gothor also spoke with the sea and coastal defense commanders to inform them of the possible threat directly. With any luck, there might be some sea fleet backup on its way, though Gothor was not going to count on it.
The discussion with the Supreme Commander of Tinis was a little heated. But Gothor knew his rights in deploying emergency forces. And unless Kraz explicitly ordered him not to in a special order, which he didn't seem keen on doing, the plan would proceed.
Scron on the other hand opted to visit the hive hosts in order to request to help out. The argument presented would be of course that he was an expert in Tinisian tactics and hardware capabilities and could offer up extra insight when things got intense on how to better maneuver the Tinisian strike force for greatest effect.

In a brief meeting between Lumis and Dosh:
Lumis said, "I'm highly concerned about this. Even if we secure the beach as a coalition, we are fighting this conflict in a way which I think the Pudrians are highly accustomed to. The Pudrians have fought the Aneans before several times and even though that would suggest that they would know how to fight them, based on their approach to things and the overview of their history which they have indicated: I can see why Blinn is so uncomfortable with their entire methodology. Which is where you come in:"
"The portal", said Dosh, "The problem is: it is using mechanisms which are different than those we're most well-versed in. And I can assure you, Tinis is also in on an effort to engineer a way to cut the Pudrians off from the portal. That's how we roll."
Lumis said, "My concern is: Anea wins wars with big things. Large numbers and military mass. But we don't have numbers and mass on the kind of scale that they do. So this approach is going to result very badly for us, while it may be "justifyable" for them. And Blinn was pretty sure that this IX fellow was going to run us all right off a cliff with this. And given what I'm hearing recently about his vanishing, I'm have to agree with Blinn for now. Which is why I'm not ordering any additional forces beyond what we already have here for the beach. We don't send cannon-fodder. That's wastefull and against our ethics. I want to focus on getting a strategic strike group together to take out that damn portal. I have a feeling it's a somewhat underexplored item thus far."
Dosh said, "Between all of us involved in this, in an international sense: I think we can definately concoct something to take out the portal. The current direction that my department wants to take is the reapplication of some things... with the addition of some Suikodanen devices to get the power levels needed... To make a the fabled Haorohysterisis Bomb which was theorized by Tinisian scientists some time ago."
Lumis said, "The issue then, is how far away are we from making this, and what can we do with it, as a coalition, to effect sudden and shocking damage, or preferrably annihilation to the Pudrians?"
Dosh said, "A Haorohysterisis bomb would cause a catastophic collapse of the wormhole of the portal, sort of using a stick of dynamite to erase a diskette: not the easiest or most accurate way to do it: but in the end: the diskette is "erased". I know this for sure because regardless of what that wormhole is made of, an alternating charge of +/- 5.9 Dn for 10 minutes is the kind of causality-perturbing action that would create kinetic conditions that would create or disrupt any sort of field-unifying effect or force. That said, I don't know 100% what would happen, but I can say, based on the working system of mathmatics we have for this, that this is the single best bet we have on shutting-down and destroying the portal without all of the coalition using an unsafe amount of nuclear weapons, which may not even work.
This thing won't cause the kind of lasting destruction on our end that nuclear weapons would. So this is quite a bit more ideal."
Lumis said, "I only understood a few parts of what you said, use some kind of analogy please"
Dosh said, "It would be like a surge that takes out the portal and whatever is connected to the wormhole or gate structure. At a conservative estimate: it would at least fry the portal on this planet. At a more optimal estimate: it would cause this gate, and the next one down the line to overload and be destroyed.
But in order for it to work: we're going to need something of considerably higher energy output than fission power to get this kind of yield. We are going to have to work with the Suikodanen to make this work. Because they actually have fusion devices that would be appropriate for this application."
Lumis said, "Then I will forward your ideas to them regarding this."

-A moment after the War Meeting-As funny as this event was for the Anean Colonel, Blade was clearly not sharing his point of view on the General's situation... Blade was wondering, if every Aneans had the same attitude toward their superiors or for problems in general... but the Colonel had a point, about the reaction of the General. Suddenly, something caught the attention of Blade, on one of the monitors. He could have sweared too, to have heard some ''noises'', but not the kind that ''everyone'' could hear... Probably just some stress from the people of the Hive. Blade-Voice : '' Mmh... Seems like your General is doing it again ?'' Pointing the monitor above their head, where they could see the Anean General trying frantically to open the door of the Infirmary. '' But don't worry too much... Every doors to vital parts of any Hive's ships are reinforced and can only be opened or closed using a Biometric sensor. He's not going anywhere tonight...'' '' With your permission... Colonel... we will add a small and controlled amount of sleep gas, in his room. It will be easier for you to reason with him, when he will be awake.'' While Blade was readying the gas injection, an idea, something almost like a whisper in his mind... '' ...in any cases... I wonder, if this is the Pudrians doing ?'' -Day of the Attack-At the first few hours of the day, the weather had promised to be ugly AND rainy, but now, about an hour before the full scale assault of Acronos, the weather was clearing up and seemed to be on the side of the liberators... A few hours before, the ''last minute'' reinforcements of the Aneans Outsiders had finally arrived and were now ready to go, if Blade heard right from the Anean Colonel. Blade and Nova had already sent a few people to get the confirmation that the other Nations' troops were also ready and to give them a new copy of the Battle Plan, just in case. nova225.deviantart.com/#/d2rwlhxAt Noon, the diversion on the West Beach would start, followed closely by the Assault of the South Beach... and for this rare occasion... Blade had received the permission, from the Majority of the Hive, to use one of the new toys the Naval Army received a few months before. To the taste of the Hive, this pre-war atmosphere, heavy and depressing, reclaimed something that would galvanize and possibly cheer the troops... Using the speakers, quickly installed for the needs of the other Nations, which weren't linked together, Nova started : www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QazWtO7wZgNova-Voice : '' Attention to all troops of all Nations, this is Nova-Mind of the Hive people. The Hive would like to thank every Nations for their help and every brave soldiers that those Nations count.''
