-Key Island, Emergency War Room-
Inside the East Building, a rectangular structure made of only one single room, which was filled with a very long table going from one end to the other and a lot of chairs, a large flat screen on a wall and many smaller screens on each sides of it, was Nova preparing all the necessary data for the War Conference...
As the Officers and Official people of Tinis entered the one and only room, Nova stopped his preparations, in order to properly greet the Tinis Outsiders.
Nova-Voice : ''I welcome you, Tinis Outsiders, to the Naval Base of Key Island. We are glad to see that you too have chosen to help us repeal that dangerous new Enemy.''
''You may sit anywhere you wish, around the table... We will start pretty soon, but we might have to wait just a little bit more... I received news that a crew of Anean Outsiders wish to check the ''threat'' directly ; They might provide us with valuable information, if they come back of course...''
-Pyrus Aircraft carrier-
The hour before the War Conference, Blade was thinking about the risky request of the Anean Outsiders...
Galactic ? Why directly ? ...Blade was starting to get a bad impression of the situation, a bit worst than before at least, since the last wave of Enemies just finished to be repealed successfully, but leaving the South Fleet more tired than ever...
Bah ! He thought... Those Outsiders could go get killed, if they really wanted to, not that he would allow them to get killed without giving them some protection from the proud Fleet of Suikodan... and if they are able to collect valuable information... All would be for the better.
Blade-Voice : ''Like you want... Bring as much information as you can, as quickly as you will be able to do... But I will pose a condition. I will make you escort with one of our Shielded Skirmisher, a fast and silent boat equipped with our latest shield technology.''
''It will transport you to the beach and will bring you back in one piece, you can be sure of that... Luckily for you, I just read that the last wave was repealed, but again a close call... Go fast.''

Colonel Nakhi Welhan
"Thank you, but we won't need the escort. The only thing that poses a threat to us is the destruction of our shuttle. You will find that we are quite... hard to kill. If we were to fly the shuttle in, it would make this easier. I just want a fly over of the island and see the enemy. I want to confirm, or dispel, my fears.
"I am not here to argue with you. I am here to protect the people of this planet. I have to go."
I walked out of the room and headed back down to the flight deck. The rest of the Legion should still be in the shuttle.
I got in and said to the pilot, "Get us to the island. Maintain radio contact with their fleet though."
From the co-pilot's seat, I activated the camera mounted on the front. I slid the side doors closed and then activated the shields. I just hope that nothing bad comes as a result of me leaving like that.

OOC : ...Ok..... You want to ''fly over'' an Island full of ''relatively'' unknown Enemies... Well armed... Equipped with things that can take down energy shields relatively quickly... and who might probably have Anti-air things ?
When Blade is proposing a Quick, stealthy and shielded boat, to go on the beach... where there's more than probably hundred of pieces of the ''Unknown Enemy'' laying all around ?

OOC: Yes, I do want to fly over the island. You seem to underestimate Anean shielding technology for its ships. And the reasoning behind it is that it is a fast shuttle. Whatever AA they have, they can more than likely get away. As for the parts, that means nothing. For all he would know it's just robots. He needs a direct look at the enemy. If he did not believe it to be the Pudrians, he would take all the time in the world. However, he has fought them and he knows what they are capable of.

Graves fiddled with his empty holster, watching the Tinisians as they came in. So that's how their soldiers looked.
He could tell Alaric and Tuvos were just as fidgety, wanting to get it over with...wanting to get to the fight. But they were young..Intelligence is key.
No use flying into a deathtrap without knowing where to shoot.
What really concerned him was the 'beach.' His people barely had experience with river crossings, much less an amphibious assault, and without securing the beachhead, it would be suicide to fly in troops...
Well, that's what briefings were for.
He prayed silently that P'rova, the paranoid revwohhn, didn't say anything stupid. He was still eying everyone like they were the enemy.

[[OOC: Just making an assumption]]
Andertol reported, "We just got a message from Suikodan. They're not really digging the whole 'attempting to communicate with the enemy' thing. Which actually causes me some suspicion. We haven't actually seen what they're apparently fighting and it is the intent of the Apparateur to make sure that we have some understanding of what this is before we jump in and fight it. I want to make sure this isn't an elaborate trick of some kind."
"Tinis just sent something over there", Blinn finally said, "We're past the 'is this political' phase already. Am I the only one who thinks we should exhaust the possibility of establishing a dialogue with the enemy as a way to gather intelligence, since I'm sure there will be no diplomacy?
I really don't have time to deal with this.
I have to be at that military conference in an hour."
"So I guess that qualifies it", said Andertol, "I'm going to call a meeting of experts to see what strategic things can be contributed to the Effort, pending decision from brass down in Elias."

Elias Buildings One & Two: Sub-basement 16 in the Eve complex.
Dalg Kyaga, a pointy black mechanical dragon with lots of glowing parts, was very important in an ambiguous sense. "We're starting to get some intelligence back from the Dachahachiy recon. And it backs up the rumors that the invaders are partly inorganic."
Dalg Halcion, a yellow mechanical cat said, "Thus far they haven't made any response. I'm just going down the list here, and I suggest we take action right now."
Dalg Kyaga said, "I want to make sure we can actually make an impact."

The hydroplane carrier MZS Fhtagn was already on it's way up to the area. Sending a message to Suikodan that more assistance was on the way.

The four Tinisians took up seats all in a group near the Aatuylvanian group.
The Commander then spoke, "I hope I don't sound brash here, but if the Aneans are going to be late and this is a credible threat to Suikodan and possibly the rest of us, would it not make sense to get started? We're still a little short on information about these attackers. Has there been any credible attempts to communicate? What sort of weaponry are they sporing? Do they look like my wife's mom?"
It was clear by these questions that Gothor was perhaps a little inpatient. It was his duty to figure out exactly if assistance was to be provided and if it wasn't then he'd be heading home in short order. If on the other hand Tinisian help was warranted then he'd like as much time to prepare for what they were going to face.

Colonel Nakhi Welhan
We got over the island and I looked down near the beach that they spoke about. I rotated the camera and took zoomed in shots of the parts scattered about.
The pilot picked up the speed and headed toward the center of the island. As soon as we got close, I heard the alarm go off signaling that they have a lock on us.
I yelled back, "You better strap in! This is about to get rough!"
The pilot banked hard to the right as a laser swept across and almost hit us.
"Take us in close. I want to see what we are fighting."
The pilot said, "We can get the Enterprise to take photos."
"No, we have to do this. Bring us in low and fast. I will have the camera taking pictures the whole way."
"Whatever you say sir."
We skimmed the top of the trees heading toward the attackers. I looked down and saw soldiers walking, paying little attention to us.
Suddenly through the radio, I heard, "We are the Pudrians. Our scans indicate that our technologies are compatible. We seek to cleanse Creation of war, hate, prejudice, and greed. Join us on our path to peace, and we will end all suffering. Opposition will not be tolerated. You will join the Harmony."
The pilot looked at me and I only said, "Get us back to the carrier now."
The shuttle made a quick turn. However, that slow down resulted in us getting hit. It took down the shields and knocked out one of the two engines.
I quickly shifted the power to the remaining engine and we picked up speed. I opened the door slightly and looked back. While it did not hit my side, I did see a trail of smoke now.
The pilot said to me, "This thing is going to fall apart."
"It'll hold."
We flew with the damaged engine back toward the carrier.
--- 20 minutes later ---
As we approached the rear of the carrier, I said into the radio, "This is Colonel Welhan, we need to land immediately. We have taken damage and we need to land."
Maybe I should have taken their advice and taken the ship in. Anyway, a little late for that.
Still, that message probably went out on all radio channels. While it may only mean that they are fanatics of some kind to others, to us, that's the Pudrian "greeting". If IX heard it, then he is probably already mobilizing and sending a warning to Haroma.

OOC : I will suppose, from where Miokalia is situated, that its fleet is coming from the East.
-Pyrus Aircraft carrier-
As the Anean Outsiders' ship landed, in an inelegant way, on the bridge, Blade was staring with perplexity at one of his screen, which was displaying a strange message sent by the Enemy.
''We are the Pudrians. Our scans indicate that our technologies are compatible. We seek to cleanse Creation of war, hate, prejudice, and greed. Join us on our path to peace, and we will end all suffering. Opposition will not be tolerated. You will join the Harmony.''
A moment after the Anean ship left the range of the radars, which were limited due to strange disturbances, since half a day... This message was apparently sent on almost every frequency possible... and for a split second... Blade thought he ''heard'' some broken whisperings...
Something was definitely fishy and the thoughts of the Hive wanted answers. The Main Minds would get those answers, in a way or another...
Blade-voice : ''Anean Outsiders and their superiority complex... I hope it was worth it, at least... I recommend you to join me in the Conference Room on the double, we should have started this 10 minutes ago.''
Just as he was gonna go in the room, a button started to flash, meaning that someone was contacting them. Blade listened to the transmission and sent a reply :
-We thank you for your support, Miokalia Outsiders, and are asking you to place your fleet near the East Aircraft : Corandus. A War Conference is about to start, so please listen to this frequency. A video channel will also be opened.-
-Key Island, Emergency War Room-
Nova too heard the strange and disturbing broken whisperings... Whatever they were fighting, it was able to communicate in a similar way... Maybe the space race that were the Aneans would know something about them ?
But for now, the War Conference was about to start.
Nova-Voice : ''I know you are all impatient to know ''exactly'' against what you will be fighting, what will be the plans to retake the Island of Acronos and your place in those plans. All this will soon be explained to you very soon, I hope.''
After those last words, Nova entered some commands on a panel, near the largest screen on the wall and soon, the screen was showing the video of Blade-Mind on its Aircraft and the Commander of the Miokalia Fleet.
''Now, we are about to begin.''

I pulled myself out of the jumbled wreck of my shuttle. It is still barely flyable.
I patted it and said, "See, I told you it would hold together!" The door fell off. "...never mind."
I headed for the conference room as fast as I could. I entered the room just as it appeared to begin.
As I walked in, I thought about what I will say to present the threat. That is the last time I am going to do that. I deserve to have my shuttle almost destroyed for that stupid action. I thought, I hoped, that is was not the Pudrians.

Commander Tlorgan paced around on deck of the Fhtagn as it slowed down on approach to the designated rendezvous point.
He finally turned and asked Adhoceur-General 3I0N (Owen) Peerg, a black Malych raptor, "So did you all hear the Pudrian message?"
"A little bit", 3I0N lied. He hadn't heard a thing. And it was bothering him quite a bit. To him, his species had attempted to start a rational dialogue with these Pudrians. Although they didn't expect them to respond rationally, there was still a building anger over the their whole arrival, and invasion (obviously) but also they way they responded in the message to everyone. "When we sent our message to them, we were pretty clear about our terms. Qualt has decided that these Pudrians must be incapable of coexistence."
Tlorgan asked, "What was in the message?"
3I0N looked at him for a bit and then said, "I'm not supposed to say because it might be misinterpreted."
Tlorgan looked away a minute and said, "They're going to think that you're making a deal with them".
3I0N replied, "They don't seem at all interested in deal-making. To them, we're probably all the same. An obstruction."
The two then went below deck where Blinn was about to join in the conferrence.

The skunk in charge of the Tinisian group seemed suddenly less annoyed. "Excellent. We're beginning I hope," he grumbled in his native* language after Blade appeared and what could be the Anean Colonel in the background.
-------
Meanwhile back in Tinis, they were not in the dark about the message that had bent sent. Many comments about the transmission power were made before the language decoders were able to figure out what was being said. The First Speaker, whom had not wanted Tinis to get involved in the first place, was pulled out of a meeting and shown the message.
His initial response was, "Huh, sounds like next year's Unionist Party platform. Heh, ok, maybe Kraz was right to send someone up there." The fox mulled his options. "Ya know, if there really is a super deadly unknowable enemy on our doorstep, I suspect I can clear my schedule for the day."
And with that the First Speaker joined the very frantic military leaders for the first day of the incursion.

Colonel Nakhi Welhan
I have no time to waste.
"I might as start this. I am sure that most, if not all, of you heard the message from the Pudrians. I am already pulling up our intelligence reports on them. We need to know everything about them if we are to make any kind of resistance.
"I am requesting General IX to come as well. He knows more about the Pudrians than anyone else. He will give you an idea of what they, what they are capable of, their mind set, and the best way to fight them."
I tapped away at my datapad as I said that.
General IX
I received a message from Nakhi. It was only a few words: "Pudrians. Come for briefing.". I had a feeling it was that after I began to hear some voices again. I suppressed it though.
I started to write a message to send to Emperor Welhan. However, I decided against that. He would have the planet glassed.
Instead, I called Rio in. When he arrived, I said, "Rio get the AGF soldiers here mobilized. We have a Pudrian attack and we need to deal with it. I will head over to Nakhi's location."
Rio said, "I recommend that you do not go. Not with your condition. If they capture you, they will finish what they started."
"No, I won't be captured. I have to go."
I headed into the corner of my office and opened a side door. I climbed up the ladder several levels and opened a hatch at the top. That brings me into the shuttle bay. I had it built like that for a situation that needed immediate response.
I got in a shuttle and started it up. I can fly these, but I tend to crash. I can get to Nakhi's location though. I flew out of the shuttle bay and jumped to max speed as soon as I could. I should be at the briefing in half an hour now.

-War Conference-After the Anean Colonel revealed they knew about the existence of this Enemy, as he started to enter some commands in his personal computer... A flow of thoughts burst through the Hive-Mind... The Hive-Mind : *They know the Pudrian Enemy. The Enemy is their enemy. Are they after the Anean Outsiders ? Is it a war between them ? Our people died for them ! It's their fault ! ...Who's really the Enemy ?...* For a few seconds or what could have seemed like an eternity for the 5 Minds, they read the thoughts that went like an avalanche through the Hive-Mind... Hardly believing the hostility they contained... Ryu-Mind : *The people of the Hive are not happy, it seems ?* Zio-Mind : *Yes... This is quite unusual ? ...even if we could have predicted this.* Nina-Mind : *Our people don't like conflicts, especially when we are dragged into them...* Blade-Mind : *Even then... If we have to fight, we fight, for the Hive and its people... The thoughts have always been in agreement with this, but now...* Nova-Mind : *...Things are different... Those Aneans Outsiders, the people of the Hive think they bring this Enemy on us... An Enemy, with a mind closer to ours than any other mind on this planet... But we must fight them. We aren't the only one threaten by those things and I don't think they will stop at this world.* As Blade was standing perfectly still on his chair, looking at the Anean from the side of his eye and Nova was looking deeply at the screen, they both asked the same thing. Blade/Nova-voice : '' Now Anean, you will tell us everything you know about those Pudrians that killed our people and threaten this world.'' OOC : By the way, I'm not trying to be creepy here It's just that the people of the Hive are feeling threaten by the world around them, like never before... Which tend to cause some problems, when you're in a collective mind-society...

Colonel Nakhi Welhan
I looked down at my map. On it I am tracking IX's shuttle.
"If you can wait another ten minutes, then I will have a full briefing for you. My commander knows everything about the Pudrians. I will give you a basic overview of them though.
"The Pudrians are a race of people with mechanical implants. I don't think that is the right word, but they are like machines more or less. They have a policy of forced assimilation. Very few have managed to escape their capture. None have been fully returned to normal.
"General IX is one of those few that escaped. As a result, he has more knowledge of the Pudrians than anyone else. However, he is also a firm supporter of the Welhan Protocol. He will explain that when he arrives. That must be explained so we have a basic understanding of our tactics."
