"Oh it's quite alright... but just so you know, we're going to travel there by Air, then on the way back... treat you to the best accomidations on our diplomatic cruise" Tod snickers softly before counting heads. Yep, that was everyone. "ALL ABOARD!" he calls out before pulling the bridge up, sliding it back down into the side of the ship before the craft slowly lifted off from the docks with a low hum. ----- Tardis noticed the skyship slowly lifting off from the docks, before driving on and flipping his phone open. "Commandant... their allies are en route to the council hall. They're not the only ones around with mind readers..." "Right... we will contact you when we start Operation Firestorm..." said the Commandant, before hanging up and making a crypted transmission to the Aatuylvan's main enemy. The Uldezyr. To: The Rogue Nation of Uldezyr From: The Commonwealth of Salnai Subject: Official Nation Status GREETINGS From the Commonwealth. We have spoken once before about a possible backing of nation status. Well, we will support it, but ON ONE CONDITION. We want you, to attack the Aatuylvans, and the Aluezi. They currently have a Skyship leaving... Shoot it down, and destroy as many of their ground installations as you can... we will give you supplies at the south of the boarder when we are able to. We will speak with the UN about your official nation and present your case as a novice nation trying to emerge, and get you this official status. ----- Tiza eyed the newcomers and headtilted a bit before walking up to the Accallian diplomat, starring up at him with a playful smile. Not saying a word, just smiling.

"Is it true?"
"I don't know...but..it's all we have..."
"What do we do?"
"Send out three teams. It should be enough."
"Yes sir.."
The old human leaned back on the stone he had chosen as his seat, and pulled out a cigarette that was almost as old as he was, and he lit it, taking one long drag before putting it out and placing it back in his pocket. ------------------------------ "Well hello."
The Justicar stood probably around six feet tall, and he looked down at Tiza, smiling.
"And who might you be?"
He knelt down and looked at the small raccoon.
------------------------------
There were three teams. Each one consisted of a rocketeer, a gunner, and a feeder, who carried ammo for both the 20 and 30mm fliegerfausts and the stolen .50s.
They knew that the skyship was heading north, but didn't know which path, which was troubling as they had to hide from gunship patrols and mechanized units the whole way...
They had enough for three volleys each. One had a 20mm, it had nine barrels. The 30 also had nine. The last had a 35mm rocket launcher with six barrels.
They set up in a semi circle facing south, each team 100 meters away from the other. The hope was that when the skyship came, it would be within the 500m range of their weapons. They would fire a volley, two if they could, and under machine gun cover, run for the hiding holes they dug earlier that day...

The skyship idled about 550 meters in the air... an unsafe height for such a ship. Considering it's generators were only six rings on each side of the hull. "No worries, we won't run into trouble in the slightest..." says Robert, chuckling as he continued to move at about 55 MPH. Which was easy enough to walk in, sorta. The ship could go much faster if it wished to. Tiana shook her head slowly from side to side. "If you scratch this ship, Tod will hang you..." she says before turning to walk out of the cockpit, taking the stairs down after she was outside. ----- Tiza smiled and held out her little hand to him. "I am Tiza, underling of Tod, and you are?" she asks, her little eyes sparkling as she looked him over, her tail flicking about happily like a happy puppy.

"I am Justicar Isak Junez."
He bows a little, taking her hand and placing a kiss on it while smiling.
"Pleased to meet you Miss Tiza, tell me, what brings such a little thing like you here, hm?"
------------------------------------
They heard the odd sound of the foreign transport, and the rocketeers hefted the heavy weapons onto their shoulders, their loaders fitting the rockets into the back using special ring canisters.
They flipped up the iron sights, ready to unleash death as the rockets would fly out of the barrels in quick succession, emptying all of them in but moments...

Tiza blushed slightly at the kiss to her hand, giggling a bit before flicking her tail about in a happy manner. "Well, I am part of the V Unit of Aluez, believe it or not." she tugged a bit at the wraithskin clothing she was wearing. "So naturally, I would come along when the entire unit was ordered to protect it's master" "And yes, before you ask, she is a soldier... just like the rest of us. She killed her first wraith only a few months ago" Tiba padded over to the two and sat down next to Tiza, leaning over and against her, murring softly. "Nyaa, get off me pup!" she looked at Tiba and tried to push him away, only to have him flop back onto her. "Grr..." The ship then suddenly jolted violently, alarms beginning to sound. "Missile attack, everyone stay calm" says the pilot, the ship starting to list slightly. On the sides of the ship, the turrets came active and turned downward, opening fire into the jungles below. The missile turret on the bottom of the ship also coming out and active. ----- "I TOLD YOU SO!" shouts Tiana as she smacked the pilot in the back of the head, manning the weapons control panel, tapping a few buttons and trying to see where the fire was coming from. "Get us up!" "Already working on it!" Robert growled and gritted his teeth, the ship slowly raising up in altitude.

The Aatuylvans all steadied themselves on the walls, reaching for weapons that weren't there, cursing the rules they had to follow as they could do nothing...
The Uldezyri, on the other hand, had far worse luck as one team had been engulfed in fire completely. The other two reloaded and fired, the first only firing half of his rockets before incoming missiles hit their position.
The last team, with only small bursts of machine gun fire, fled as soon as the last rocket left the barrel, running towards the burrows.

"I swear to Frigram's Ghost, if you scratched my boat I WILL KILL YOU!" Tod says as he walked to the nose of the skyship, and dove off, making a direct dive for the fleeing rebels. As soon as he landed, he darted after them, setting fire to the ground beneath his feet as he sped through the jungle.
The rockets continued to pound into the ground below as the skyship rose into the air, taking more damage as they hammered the rebels below.

The last team dashed through the underbrush, the machine gun and rocket launcher forgotten as they made for the burrows.
The one holding the battle rifle tripped, twisting his body so that he could fire at whoever was following him.
---------------------------
Ulrik frowned, making his way to the command center of the vessel.
"I do hope you know how to fly competently, as we appear to still be under fire."

"I've shot down most of the rockets already" says Tiana, as the pilot gained altitude and got out of range of the fire... or so he hoped. "We should be safe now..." ----- Tod snarled loudly as he was shot, but that didn't stop him from ripping the rebel's head clean off. "Nyaahahahaa!" he then threw the head at the other two, aiming to hit one of them in the head with it. His wounds regenerating slowly from the shadows and nanites.

Meanwhile…
The council had taken to some rather peculiar discussion about the nature of claims and what precedent there was for the Furry Federation being arbiters in such things and how they might be applied to the situation at hand. But as usual, it seemed that the answers of the past are insufficient to guide the present beyond the very basics.
Xovie then noticed that Zian was seemingly getting lost in some of this minutia and opted to shut down debate to speak to the representatives.
"The matters of recognizing jointly where the boarders of nations outside our organization exist is not something this esteemed body has been called to do often. But we do act as de facto guardians of this continent, be us welcomed by all or not. And as such the Union of Tinis feels that acting is indeed an ideal thing to do.
"But what more, as for your explanations as to the validity of your claim, we question the wisdom of making this claim known to nations outside of this body and organizations that you could say we've had a rather antagonistic relationship with over the years. We bear no ill will to the United Nations or other assemblies of nations, but as far as we are concerned, they're authority, and thus opinions on all matters, on this continent are subsidiary to our own.
"You may present your map, of course. But do be wary of trying to pull elaborate tricks. They won't do more then sour our view of you and those you represent.
"But before you do so, the Union of Tinis would like to confirm that we recognize the sovereignty of the Confederated nation of Aatuylva and other nations that boarder the territory in question. And we would be interested to know if any of them have made claims to this territory and not told us."
Xovie twitched his snout. "But go ahead, show us your map."

After Xovie said that:
Representative Fourier finally said: "Now hold on. I am objecting to the validity of the presentation of the Salnai representative's map upon continuation of debate on the grounds of protocol.
Although at this time I am hard-pressed to object to any of Salnai's claims. Seeing as Aluez has recently been using some choice rhetoric in regards to four nations here including my own and not including Salnai in that specific instance.
Regardless, I must object since a claim cannot be put to any vote until it can be cross-examined by the other relevant party. To the effect that debate cannot continue until the other party has arrived.
Mind you, I find it hard to believe that Aluez would not send at least an observer up regarding this. Seeing as it is a matter concerning their recognition. But I really don't know what goes on over there anyway. So who knows.
So as of the end of this recess, Miokalia immediately moves to suspend any vote until the other party, Aluez is able to provide a representative to cross-examine the claims of the Salnai representative."
Fourier turned to his aide and said, "Have Nadara put in a call to Aluez, if he doesn't get through, keep calling other offices. Ideally, keep calling until you get the Aluez AI herself. Tell them that they need to get someone up here now, and that we've bought them some time.
And that this will be the last favor they get, unless they back down on all this anti-SOTO nonsense.
In fact, add to that, I want the release of all those detained because of that recent anti-SOTO/anti-free-speech law or else we're going to let Salnai put this to vote and possibly turn the tide of the Federation against them.
Make sure that our Cortanaoid friend here understands that any one country can block a vote if they have enough filibustering stamina. And that Salnai doesn't have a vote yet. We can block them from getting that vote."
The aide, a little raptor quickly took off for the back of the hall to make the call and sent the order to the Apparat of State, Tycho Nadara to have these calls made to Aluez.
Meanwhile another aide joined Fourier for a moment and said quietly, "Qualt hasn't authorized this action. In fact, he actually is advising you to leave the chamber and let Salnai do whatever it wants."
Fourier replied to the aide, "Qualt doesn't realize that this is an opportunity to put a stop to some recent madness. We might be able to improve things between us and Aluez."

Alueza snorted and slowly stirred awake, answering the call upon the first ring. "And who might YOU be calling?" she asks, if there was a view screen, she would appear on it in the form of a blue furred Fennec. ----- Zian sat back in his chair before hearing the phone ring, standing up and bowing to the council. "I will be right back, I have to take this call in private." he then left and answered the call. "Yes, Chancellor?" "Operation Firestorm has begun... be aware of the situation, and try to end this issue before it gets out of hand." "Yazu Chancellor..." he then closed his phone and walked back in, clearing his throat. "Now where were we?" ----- Tod finished up with the rebels he had caught and growled lowly, jumping back up to the ship before shuddering hard and tipping over the side of the boat, throwing up everything he had snatched into his jaws during the fight. "Wraith Taint...? Or..." he asks himself, before looking to the south, eyes turning red before he walked back in, opening the door with his clean hand. "They're dead... now can we get a move on?!"

Andertol was in his office with a phone sitting on top of his head, and another in claw. A short, small broadcast had been located during routine broadcast acquisition and curation up at the Operations Reservation. Qualt tabled the item and didn't seem to care, so Andertol picked it up and now found himself amidst a search for a foreign dissident whom was about to catch the hearts of the media.
On one phone was the little anthroliger up at the Ops Reservation where the broadcast was detected. On the other phone was somebody from KZ wondering what the hell was going on with the very same broadcast.
The third phone showed a text item from the Apparat of State, they had gotten a hold of Alueza.
Andertol muted the other phones and answered.
"Good morning, madam.", Andertol said, "Right now our representative is stalling Salnai at the Federation Council Hall. Without your representatives being there, they are going to be able to make a case for your non-sovereignty and thus possibly convince the Council in their favor. That is, unless you send someone up there and our representative filibusters to keep the motion from going to vote until then.
Fourier is a mechanical dragon so he can filibuster for a long time. Don't give him a reason to give up on you.
Maybe this doesn't matter to you, either way I just hope you're noticing that our representative up there is doing you a huge favor because he apparently thinks you don't deserve to be absorbed into Salnai. I trust his reasoning on that, which is why I'm telling you that you need to get as many representatives up there as soon as you can.
Or am I correct in assuming those things I said to the media earlier?
You are the highest authority in your country, so I advise you to act so that it stays on the map.
We will talk about what this means in terms of your recent domestic policy choices after we shut Salnai down in the Council."
Qualt's head peeked by the door and said, "This isn't worth it. If they wanted our help with Salnai, then they wouldn't have blown up that ice bomb up between Cal and Namaerat. Let them fester."
Andertol glared at him and said, "You know I can read your signals and subtext. Where is all this malice coming from?"
Qualt replied in MBTL (The modem-like Malych language), "I don't understand what you see in them. Some seven year-old kid makes a martyr of himself by hacking their broadcast system and now you think there is something to save in them?
They made their cake with barbs and razors, now they get to eat it"
Andertol looked around a bit oddly, as he does whenever Qualt talks to him directly in that language he isn't biologically supposed to understand, but does nonetheless.
"I really don't think they did. None of what they're doing makes sense.", replied Andertol.

After a few brief muttering by a seldom heard representative on an unrelated matter, Xovie turned to Zian to say, "We are here if you have not forgotten. I understand that the opperations of this body are likely alien to yourself. So please forgive us if we seem to act in peculiar manners. But some good points have been brought up. Perhaps this council is getting a head of itself. In the spirit of the words of the Miokalian representative the Union of Tinis moves that the council table this matter until such time as proper representation is present from the Aluezian people. Without object the motion is so moved."
[OOC: Fur fed members can have their reps object when I have my dude say this, but non members may not. The likely response from the chair would be then: "On what grounds does the representative from (your country here) object?" Which is a good segway into saying why, or else you can simply state "We wish a voice/recorded vote on the motion."]

"You are highly incorrect in a normality with Unitarian culture. For us to just lash out and strike agitation and lash out against a body that has not done anything as a whole." she turned upside down and brought up the transmission, humming a bit afterward. "Personally, I think their being mind controlled... the signs are all there. Unusual behavior, increases in military power, people literally wincing and collapsing in pain at the mention of your alliance... and not to mention, there is no record of racism since the establishment of Unity some millennias ago. Until recently, that is." "Yes, I know it's a bit out there, but mind control with us is a VERY real thing... it is possible, and if someone has found out how to use it..." she then blinked a few times at a report from Tyr IB, which made her grumble. "Now we have another problem... I suggest that you do what you can, while we deal with our newest problem. Please, feel free to contact me or ask me now... I will try to do what I can with the resources I got here at my fingertips." ----- "I understand," he nodded and took his seat with a soft sigh, looking at the time on his phone. "And what happens if the Aluezi do not show up within the next... day?" He wanted to end this madness in Salnai's favor as soon as possible... he just hoped those damned desert rats did THEIR job and delayed, or destroyed, the diplomats. ----- The skyship entered a streamline flight at three miles above the surface of the ground, heading for the council hall as fast as it could. Ironically, people could still walk outside without being blown about by the speed and winds. "You okay Master?" asks Tiana, who poked at the hole in his uniform. "They shot you?" "It's nothing... they made me laugh" he smiled softly at her before continuing to clean his fur off in the kitchen. "Mind getting my spare jacket out of my cabin upstairs?" Tiana nodded happily and darted off to go find the jacket, just as Andreas walked in and offered him a strange cigarette with orange contents within it's paper. "Use it if these negociations turn horrible... may as well give them all siezures for the next century..." "Thanks, but I think I might use it now" he clamped it between his lips and snapped his fingers, burning the cigarette seal before putting it in his pant pocket. "Heh, I had an interesting idea yesterday... maybe we should legalize Blueberry Yaha and sell it to people... we'd make a ton of creds offa it!" "Tisra says 'No drugs allowed in the State!' And it's true... to have a Cardi cig is a request for death" Andreas shook his head and looked out into the living room before asking them all. "How is everyone doin'?"
