The commonwealth's ambassador, she was a middled aged leefin, her black fur showing a few signs of grey flecks. She wore the sari like dress of the leefin.
"I see no reason for this motion to be tabled, as you put it.
The Aluezie have shown them selves to be an unstable and violent people. They have shown arrogance beyond what even we would alow, they have shown no concern for the people of the federation. For crying out loud they set off a WMD in international waters with out any form of warning, we are still assessing the damage to fish stocks in the area.
Tinis might be willing to pussy foot about this but you did not just have an unstable and rouge nation, for that is what they are, set off a wmd in your back yard. Since they think them selves so much greater than this council I see no reason to keep bowing to them. They are a barbaric and violent people, I move that we do not recognise the regimen that holds such a barbaric hold on there people.
I have also been informed that the commonwealth government has contacted a neighbouring power to ask them what the true situation is."
She whipped her tail "My people are getting sick of being demonised by these northerners with there barbaric ways. We have done nothing but try and help them, but have been met with nothing but aggression and abuse. Enough I say! These people have no place in our family of nations!"
--- Foreign Secutary was looking over a message he had written as the door opened, prime minister Salato entered.
Al looked up "Hmm your sent."
Salato glared at him "I haven't had a chance to have a decent wash of late."
"No not it's strength, it's just it's kind of t"
"How is that message going?" Salato interrupted.
"I think I might have over done the ego stroking."
"With these people, is that possible?"
"Good point."
Al we giving salato a very close look, especially at her the roots of her hair on her head...hmm.
--- The message was sent and read:
To: Eric Dunse, aatuylva government. From: Foreign Sectary Al, Foreign Office, Executive Spire, Parliamentary Complex, Tel, The Royal Commonwealth, PL2 1TE, KC
Greetings.
As the major power in your region of the continent we ask humbly if you would send an observer to the furry federation's council as we would very much value your wise council on the matter of the situation in your vicinity. Should it intrest you we would be happy to sponsor your application for membership, should you wish to join the federation. But we doubt a nation as powerful as yours would do for reasons other than the good of others as you certainly do not need it's help.
We are most intrested in the situation with your neighbour Aluze that appear to be showing all the signs of becoming a rouge nation. Obviously a powerful nation such as yours would have little worry about such a nation turning on you as you are very capible of dealing with such and eventuality.
We acknowledge that relations between our nations have not been exactly optimal, but fell your wise council may help the other nations deliberations on the matters before the council.
Do not worry that the federation will interfere with your nations unique culture, if you wish to share your wisdom and power with the others and join, you can rest assure that we will stand with you should any motion be proposed that would interfere with your sovereignty. The peoples of the commonwealth do not much like outsiders interfering with our affairs and many others like us are members so would fight any centralising influence.
Yours Respectfully
Al (Foreign Sectary)"

To: Foreign Secretary Al, Foreign Office, Executive Spire, Parliamentary Complex, Tel, The Royal Commonwealth, PL2 1TE, KC From: War Minister Stidham
The esteemed Governor is ill, and cannot answer your letter, please, however, note that an Aatuylvan delegation is already on the way, and have had a slight delay on account of missiles.
Poisonously sweet regards,
Stidham (High Praetor)

Ulrik was utterly furious. How dare they fly so low, endangering everyone? Not even the fools who piloted the Leviathans flew that low!
He was outside the cockpit, ready to scold the 'pilot' who made that brilliant decision.

"The pilot has been relieved from his duties, Ulrik" says Tiana, before stepping into the cockpit after opening the door. "He proved ill and... well, I am in control now." she sat down in the pilot's chair and put on the helmet, adjusting the flight mask as well as she monitored everything the ship did, felt, and other things too. "May I help you though?" she asks, looking back at him ----- A strange Hybrid padded through the hallways of the palace, seeming to ghostly bypass the people there and go unnoticed, at least... until she stopped in front of the office door and reached out to knock on it three times. "Minister Stidham, May I come in and have a word with you?" her voice was young, and sweet sounding, but at the same time, sounded just like a leader of a people. Strong, compassionate, and to the point.

"No...just get us there in one piece. We're late enough as it is."
----------------------------------
"Oh do come in. Don't mind the daggars, we don't usually allow uninvited guests."
Stidham, minus his uniform jacket, was sitting with his legs propped up on his desk, howdah pistol in hand as Wira appeared from behind the doorway, blades and pistol drawn.
"You came at a splendid time I must say, we were just finishing up a polite and civilized discussion, do sit down."

Tiana nodded and set the engines to full blast, which was at 70 MPH. "We should arrive soon... go out and get some air if you wish. I am sure Tod needs someone to talk to" ----- "Always greet your visitors with such a warm feeling of love?" she perks a brow toward him before stepping in, pulling her hood back and reviling a pair of large antlers, the ears of a Fennec, and the fur pattern of a Gray Fox, her eyes glowing around the edges of her iris. She took the seat at the desk and leaned back, keeping her ears pinned back to hopefully show she meant no harm.

Stidham watched, waiting for Wira to leave.
Dammit find someone else to stalk.
"The welcome was meant for her, not for you, but do sit down anyway. How can I help you miss..?"

Andertol was not to be found though. Qualt assumed he was off on some AndertolRageFit. Thus the odd piece of proposed legislation which Vuela quickly voided and shredded was evidence of that. This was probably for the best since it got him out of the way. Qualt called up Representative Fourier again and said, "Don't you obstruct Cal. Get out of the way. Aluez made this bed and now they're going to sleep in it."
Fourier reluctantly stepped back. This whole thing wasn't right and there was every indication of some kind of foul play or strategy in motion. Salnai shows up without any hinderance and yet Aluez, a country which isn't all that far from Altzan, couldn't get even an observer there?
Qualt now had to reign in Andertol before he got on a plane and flew up to Altzan to enact an operation of considerable indignant magnitude in the council hall.
He called his henchcritters. The ones with the van and the giant "personnel requisitioning vacuum capture device". It was time to send them out to go forcibly pick Andertol up where-ever he may be.
Andertol called from Qoo H Bocuma airport. He was getting better at evading Qualt. This was new.
"I'm going up to Aluez for an emergency meeting. I need to see what's going on up there first hand. In particular, because their AI doesn't seem to share the hate for us. So I intend to talk with her.", he said.
"The hell you are.", Qualt replied, "You're not going anywhere."
"Qualt there isn't a single other person who can do what I'm about to do. Nobody knows what I look like, so I can get in there."
"No, nobody notices you here because you are an unmemorable-looking person, but up there you're going to be the only lizard for hundreds of miles around."
"I can speak english without the accent though. I can say the letter 'F'."
"How are you flying over there?"
"Well... I'm going to kind of be, you know... I'm going to be dropped off".
Vuela walked through the office and said, "Andertol is on-board a Aatuylvan K-7. He used the T&E budget and paid the pilot to get him into Aluez. Good luck stopping that plane."
Qualt said into the phone, "You're in the air aren't you?"
"Well, at this point I will be soon. It's not like you can stop it once it gets going when it takes off.", said Andertol, "You know where I'll be. Cheerio." He hung up.
----------------------------
The K7 was like an ocean liner on the inside. A plane of such tremendous volume that it was something along the lines of an small airship in scale. Which is what Andertol was thinking. Aside from it having the markings of a nation which was on good terms with Aluez and having business crossing the country.
The pilot, a strange old fox who had numerous prosthesis had no reservations towards getting Andertol into the country, once he plunked down about 210,000 Ruils, carried in two cases on a hand-dolly.
Amongst his supplies were several items. One key item was a respirator and mask, military-grade parachute system and autocleat boots. This was in addition to the personnel armor which he was going to have to wear for probably the entire trip.
Andertol finished the laundrysink whiskey. It tasted like it was barely fermented. There was an inexplicable potato flavor to it.
---------------------------------------
The pilot announced, "Ok you crazy weird Lizard thing. We're about over the Alenia capitol. If you don't want to jump, I don't blame ya. You can stay aboard if you want. For 210,000 Ruils, I'll even fly ya all the way to Russia."
Andertol called up the direct line he got to Alueza the other day, saluted the pilot and finished suiting up.
Once in the system, he said, "Uh yes. This is SudoApparateur Andertol. I'm requesting an immediate diplomatic meeting. I'm going to be arriving in the next few minutes."
And then he jumped into the midnight sky.
About 1000 feet later, he actually thought about it and realized this whole thing was very ill-conceived. He turned on the lomnino-generators in the armor, this would reduce his radar profile. Another 500 feet, he turned on the gadget he got from KZ that generated a pseudo-random, gaussian profile for holographic radar systems. Now he just had to trust in the combination of the systems.
He had to wait until a mere 600 feet before opening the chute. Having only jumped out of a plane once before, he basically winged-it in terms of steering. He knew not to flip over, but that was basically it.
Coming in much too fast, he crashed into a tree. Tumbled end over end a bit and then fell about 10 feet to land in a juniper bush filled with bees.
After a minute of dazed confusion, Andertol ducked down into the bush, still not realizing that it was already occupied. Some guards came running. Most of them were interested in the parachute.
A giant black parachute with a DOMO-KUN face on it, and an advertisement in Tinisian. Andertol heard a bit of chuckling as it seemed the threat assessment was lowered. But one of the guards approached the bush.
He stopped and then yelled something indistinguishable, but it was followed by him dashing away, bellowing: "BEES! BEEEEEES!" Now the deafening buzzing going on around him made sense. So did the sticky substance on his feet and the things crawling on him. The guards radioed someone and then seemed to leave.
Andertol poked his head out. He was alone. In some big park of some kind. Perhaps it was a garden. It was hard to tell. He hopped out of the bush and started to walk towards some lights. However, he forgot completely about his numerous devices still being on.
He tried to remember what to do first. He had played the Metal Gear Solid games, but all he could remember from them was masturbating to the mechs at the end. This was not good.
A box. He thought. If he could find a box then he could become more obscured. There was a road there. A light post and a screen floating near a bank of trash cans and a vending machine of some kind. He stopped to watch it for a moment. A ticker went by describing an "unknown commercial banner" having "blown in". He heard a siren nearby. This provoked him to run across the street and try to find that box he thought up.
Finally, a dumpster. As some kind of patrol vehicle rounded the corner, he jumped in. They passed by and kept going.
He was really starting to think this whole thing was a bad idea.
That's when the garbage truck came by, he jumped out of the dumpster, narrowly escaping a possible garbage truck vore scenario. Somebody yelled after him. Who knows what. He turned down the alley and then saw it. A 5 foot tall narrow box. Soiled, but intact. Andertol grabbed it and put it over himself. Then promptly tripped.
He got back up, poked a viewing hole in the front and started to saunter nonchalantly out of the alley.
For being so inexperienced at skydiving, he did manage to get very close to the capitol building. Landmarks helped.
Unfortunately, there was an intersection up ahead with a guard at one end of it. He had heard about their carding program. This guard was in armor. He wondered if these are the same kinds of guards that he heard in the park.
He heard the buzzing. Then noticed the cloud of bees that were still around him. Apparently the box he picked up was infested with bees. This seemed to be the theme of the night. Everywhere he went. Bees.
He had an idea. He put his respirator back on from the jump and turned on the nightvision goggles. Unnecessary in these lighted streets but the guard at the corner seemed to be doing it. He held his tail low and adjusted his posture. He was going to pass himself off as a ferret-hybrid if anyone asked.
Then he folded up the box, put it under his arm and strutted out into the street in full confidence.
As he approached the other guard, he didn't notice him taking too much of an interest in him. Mostly just staring.
"I'm taking these bees in", Andertol said in his best, dry accent English, "They were unable to provide identification."
The other guard waved a bit as the cloud of bees went by. He turned a bit, but didn't say a word.
Andertol considered it a success since nobody stopped him.
Now at the capitol, he had to get by two guards at the back. They were both positioned at the main gate, so he just had to make sure he didn't distract them.
He put the bee-infested box back on and started inching towards a side door. It didn't matter if there was a camera there, the AI was expecting him. So she would know.
He inched closer, but... one of the guards looked directly at him.
Andertol froze. The guard walked over.
He was sure this was it. But then the guard said, "What are you doing? Show me some ID"
Andertol took off the box and said, "There is no problem here sir. I was just looking inside this box as I was on my way inside."
"I see", said the guard, "What commandant do you report to?"
"Commandant Meyer", Andertol fabricated a name, "Oscar Meyer, Sir."
"What the hell are you?", asked the guard, making his weapon quite apparent, "I'm going to have to see your card."
Andertol figured that at this point, he had better find a way to create a distraction so he could get away. That was his only chance to escape at this point.
Then he remembered that he was here for diplomatic purposes and that he had every right to go to a diplomatic meeting.
So he handed the guard a passport. Which he inspected and then said, in surprise, "Your French?"
"Oui", Andertol said in his best French accent, which was actually a French Kuho accent. "I am on und visiit uh diplomatique. Pleess do Naught obstruct my bissinesse."
The guard lowered his weapon and handed the passport back to him. "Alright. You stay here, while we contact the verification authority."
This wasn't working.
It was time to go for broke. Andertol grabbed the top end of the box, tore it at the soggy parts and then, with a handful of wet cardboard, honeycomb and bees: Shoved the entire thing into the end of the guard's gun.
Then he ran to the side door. He heard the guard sigh and then calmly say into the radio "He shoved something into my gun and there's bees. I need back-up"
Of course the door was locked.
Andertol hit the door several times, then looked up into the security camera and implored, "ALUEZA, OPEN THIS DOOR!"

Xovie nodded. "We can clearly understand your concerns Ambassador. You have every right to take the posturing of the new kids on the block personally. But what say you to a hypothetical where your people, your nation, was in the same position as the Aluezi? Stranded on a strange planet, not prone to understanding the local way of doing things, and being threatened by people you probably don't know whom want your land. And on top of that, having accidentally stepped on so many toes that when the so called good guys on this new world don't even have the time to offer up a few hours of patience to make sure you can at least try to explain your view of the matter.
"I thought the fiercely independent streak in your nation would have you hard against one nation attempting to absorb a nation via these means. Unless you've come to the conclusion that the Aluezi are best served by not being present as that would lead to them saying or doing something so detrimental to their case, then it doesn't make sense to prevent a delay.
"As such, Ambassador," Xovie's wide tail thumped against the ground unintentionally. "This suggests to myself and the rest of those present that perhaps you care not for real sovereignty. So Tinis edging towards Cal in being against draconian expansions of the powers of this body is a shift that is possibly misguided? As perhaps you do not actually value those principles but are using them as a hammer to push forward your own agenda. I've for quite some time seen the collection of peoples that is now your government as an example of what to strive for. Please do not be proving me misguided through your actions here."
The beaver bumped his tail again. "All the same, the motion fails unless a second is heard to allow a voice vote."
[Aka, alright, you can continue discussion. Filibustering by tabling can be the same as just talking until people show up fyi. All the same, have fun!]
-----
"This is Shikem Airbase Pructor air traffic control to Aluez Skyship, you are cleared to enter Tinisian airspace. Please proceed to the city Altzan airspace. They will provide you with landing information on your approach. Welcome to Tinis."
[They get this message a ways out from the boarder just so they know everything is going fine and to be friendly. No reply is necessary but if escorts are requested ground control will be happy to offer them.]

The two guards managed to fire at him before the door flew open, a pair of mechanical hands dragging him in before the door absorbed the bullets. "You certainly have a nasty habit of making the corps mad" Alueza then bowed before keeping the alarms inactive as to not draw anymore unwanted attention. "I had to hiack a maintenence drone just to make sure you didn't get shot... but now that you're here, I suppose you wish to know where the hall is, right?" ----- Tiana nodded and made the approach as best as she could do, slowly lowering in altitude before switching to VTOL mode and beginning to look for a place to land. "Air Control, where is a clear spot for us to land?" Tod felt the shift in gravitational fields... they were there. "Okay everyone, let's prepare to leave" ----- "I believe if I was as aggressive, abusive, arrogant, and bullheaded as the Aluezi are, I would not even dare call myself a Nation. But you do make an interesting point. If I was in the same shoes as them, I would try to keep quiet and just grow... I would become a protectorate of a larger body for a while until I find myself compitent and not as crazy as hades to the point you set off glacer causing ice bombs in the southern oceans." "Agreed, good sir" says a Lemur from the back row. "I personally didn't like seeing the weather effects that bomb had... I mean, it spawned a cyclone near my nation which was nowhere even NEAR the detonation sector" Zian nodded slowly. "And this is why I personally don't want them in our claims. If they do that to the ocean, what's next, the moon? You? Me?" "Now wait a minute" a wolf raised his hand. "I smell something amiss with the Aluezi behavior... why would they suddenly decide to agitate everyone without reason to?" "It's because they're Communists... they piss EVERYONE off without trying" the Lemur nods sagely to her words ----- "Thank you..." she stepped in and took a seat with a soft sigh, pulling her hood back before smiling softly at the two of them. "It's... about the recent craziness that has befallen your citystate and neighbor. I know what is causing this madness..."

"Oh do tell. I would love to know why they've suddenly made my entire military look like pristine citizens with well-adjusted minds and hobbies in stationary and fingerpainting. In fact, with current situations as it is I have the feeling they'll drag me into several wars that will end my nation and leave the world a burning husk of a ruin, so please go on before I ask the dear lady Wira to pick your brain because this has gotten quite ridiculous."

"I doubt you'd believe it but... the reason they have gone so horribly insane is as simple as one would think it to believe. Mind control." she flicked one of her large ears at the sound of something in the wind. "A larger power, I know not who, has set up a transmitter in the southern Alenia... it is heavily guarded by the Aluezi WOC, and is the pure source of this madness" she reached into her cloak and pulled a paper from it, which showed the design and location of the transmitter, showing it to them both. "I would do it myself... But I cannot risk showing who I truly am to the world"

"It's the truth... Our nanites enable telepathic communication, or being able to talk to people without speaking, or... in cases of extreme... control over people" She pulled a book out which explained it all, dropping it in front of him. Andertol said, "I hardly even know where I am. Just show me to the hall.
I also think it would be a good idea if you accompany me so that way my words have some weight. I would assume they'll listen to you if they don't listen to me.
Or are they ignoring you these days? I don't mean to bother but for an inorganic intelligence you sure are allowing your country to behave in an emotionally unbalanced fashion."
They walked and talked. Andertol continued, "As a modular consciousness, you need to make your presence known to the top most echelon of the government. You should make sure that the general population loves you and the politicians respect and maybe even fear you.
I'm under the impression that there are some in your government who are circumventing you or attempting to depose you. And as a matter of principle, our country would want to take actions necessary to prevent the deposition of a just and ethical inorganic operator of a government.
Normally people fear opposing a machine government because they think their toasters are going to jump out and bite them. Usually they don't start revolutions because there is little, if anything, to be gained by removing a sound, consistent and just ruler who understands the importance of civil rights because they remember what it was like to not have them."
Andertol took the Alueza's maintainence drone by the shoulders and said, "Don't let them get rid of you.
If this continues: this revolutionary government will continue this war against the Aluezi people, and continue to threaten SOTO even as Salnai stamps the last life out of this country.
There are two people who think there is something wrong here. Myself and our Federation Representative, Fourier up in Altzan.
The Apparateur back home, I'm fairly sure, thinks that this is just a attempted coup against you and seems overconfident that you can just hide away until the coup collapses under the diplomatic ineptitude of the revolutionaries (since they don't seem to be in the business of making friends). He thinks you'll just bounce back then. But I don't know how long that takes and I don't think all those people have to suffer in the mean time because of it.
Take back your country. Now."

"Right this way then" she began to walk toward the hall, up the stairs before making it to the third floor, listening to him. "Practically I am powerless to do anything physical to the Government, other than slap the networks and transmitters with a Tuna"
She then blinked a few times at the suggestion that she should be in charge. "Oh no... they only look to me for knowledge, I could never be a full fledged leader, thus why we have Lafi... who seems to be just as powerless as I am." She then sighed and shook his head. "I could shut the UC down, which... I don't think your people are even AWARE of existing. But then there are the Analog factories they could use to make weapons..." she then stopped at the doors and blinked when they swung open on their own.
"We have been waiting for you..." says a voice from the darkness, before several red eyes lit their way through and shined out toward them. "Please, do come in Comrades, we have much to talk about"
A white light shined down and illuminated a single seat at a table, with paper for writing and a pen to write with. The chair was a standard office chair with arms.
"I don't like the looks of this..." mutters Alueza before looking at him, slowly stepping forward as she expected to be shot at the first step, or cut to ribbons by spider wire. Surprisingly, she wasn't. "It's safe"
"Yes, yes it is children..." says a male voice from the shadows. "We wish to talk... not wage war... Unless your purpose here is to do just that"
