Tisra couldn’t help but blush some as she heard what he said, giggling softly before beginning to flick her tail about in a happy manner. “Well… that certainly is a socker!” she grinned at him before giving a wink, continuing onward. “come on then, the restaurant is still a ways walk!”
To blinked a few times before perking a brow toward the phone, before speaking again. “Yes Markae, can you tell me the security state of the village you captured?” he asked just as he heard a loud howl in the distance, followed by a loud boom.
“Do not be alarmed, it was a howler detonation, not an enemy attack” said a voice over the loudspeakers of the city. “That is all”

IX grabbed a pistol - the .550 caliber one with the smaller 7 round magazine - from one of his drawers and put in his left leg holster along with an extra two clips. Can't be too careful.
"Sorry, I just don't want to get shot at and not have protection." As he headed out of the tent, he stopped and thought. "We could take my car to the place. Save a walk for now."

She nodded a bit before smiling softly to IX, padding over to him and sitting up on her hind legs, resting her forepaws against his leg with a happy grin. “Well I am ready when you are! Just beware of traffic… they’re bloody insane!” she shuddered at the very thought of IX trying to play chicken with a T-80II or worse, a GEAR.

"Oh that'll be fun then. Heh, I am half tempted to take a tank out now."
He picked Tisra up and then headed to the side of the tent. His HMMWV is there and hasn't really been used. The license plate thing on the front, as well as the one on the back, is blue with 7 gold stars on it. Horribly conspicuous, but it's a safety net in a way. Most people should be able to assume that 7 stars means 'very important, don't fuck with'.
He got into the driver seat and set Tisra in the passenger seat. He closed the door and started the vehicle. He headed out of the camp rather quickly and made sure not to hit anything or anyone.
"So, just give me directions to where we're going." He said as they reached the exit.

Tisra giggled a bit as she sat up on the seat, looking at the road as she seen the first street coming up. “Okay, this street here has a crater, so take the next one up on the right” she said, giving a smile toward IX. “Did he really mean what he said about… nah, he was probably teasing…” she thinks before looking back at the road with a happy smile

IX went up to the second street, though was very tempted to go over the crater, and made a hard turn. He reached out to hold Tisra in case she'd slide.
"Should probably get the road fixed. We could help with that. Gives my people something to do. Also, sorry, I drive rather crazy at times. Good thing I am not flying."
He laughed and then went back to paying attention to the road.

Markae sighed, going through all of the information in his head. It was one great big charlie-foxtrot, and half the villages that Salnai had claimed were apparently surprised they had left Aluez in the first place. The other half had either barricaded their homes in attempts to slow him down, or were caught in the middle of laying traps. Even with riot-gear it was becoming increasingly hard not to storm one of these places and cause undue amounts of bloodshed. He mulled that thought around a bit. He was not used to such prancing about. He was more a man of direct action, but orders were orders. He shook his head, remembering where he was.
"Well, Mir Vlodovic, we have not met any resistance yet, so far it has been mild confusion, shock, and fear. Everyone's hiding. We're searching homes and setting up some light fortifications, and have acquired a private airfield that we are using to fuel our helis and bring in supplies. So far the local constables' office and the mayor are cooperatin', and we've got a list of all the people who might cause trouble.
"There's a town to the northeast that might cause trouble, but only in that they have a larger police force from the population people are telling me it has. Not much a problem, more of a speedbump, but could cause some nasty PR issues if there were accidents. The towns to the southwest and the direct west have complied fully with the council's word, although one has vowed allegiance to your folk instead of leaving. I guess they figure that as long as they care for the land you'll let them stay.
"The real issue comes from further north, some yokel thought it would be a good idea to release some prisoners from one of the bigger towns, and we've been dealing with raids on supply trucks ever since. Minimum casualties so far, since our convoys are built for this kind of thing, but it might turn nasty come nightfall. Is there anything else I can help you with sir?"
