Alenia, 2 A.S.
Blair sighed softly as he sat down at his desk, flaring his trench coat out behind him before smiling softly at the human that sat on the other side of the table, his ears perking up as he glanced over her two armed guards, and then back to her. "So, miss Garcia, may I ask what brings such a distinguished leader as yourself to our colony?" he asks, getting a bad feeling that this was about to go sour, though not right away.
Garcia smiled softly back at him before leaning in, resting her elbows on the table as she stared over at him. "Just curious about the newest people on the planet. The Aneans were all the rage when they arrived, but not a word was peeped about you..." she slowly stood up and began to walk along the left side of the table, her guards staying put by the door. "No one ever came to visit you... other than the Aatuylvans, and the Cal, and the Aneans... no UN, nothing." she stopped about mid way of the table and rested her hand on her belt. Like all politicians in her country, she was militaristic, and proudly showed it by wearing the almost imperial uniform in matching with their nations military.
Blair nodded and shrugged slightly as he leaned back casually in his chair, watching her closely. Unlike her, he preferred a suit and tie, with the symbol of his peoples meaning of peace shown on both lapells. A torch with a wreath around it. "This is true, and it is a bit disappointing, and a granted grace for us," he smiled "You see, a lot of publicity from our arrival would of spelt disaster for us, as larger, more greedy nations would have swarmed Aatuylva with either peaceful, or forceful means in any measure to try and steal our technology, enslave our people, push religion upon us, and so on..." he sighed softly. "But with a low rating of attention, albeit it is disappointing, gives us a chance to worm and grow up, without foreign interference..."
"I see, so, would you answer a question or two about your people..?" she asks, tilting her head slightly, her green eyes glimmering a bit in the light as a few of her medals shined in the light as well. She walked over to the window of the room they were in, peering out upon the makeshift township that had gathered around the ruins of the starship they had arrived upon. "Like for instance, what do you intend on doing here... moving, staying?"
Blair could feel the nervousness building in him. "We plan on staying here, miss" he says, flicking one of his ears, a sign of nervousness. "We arrived in these virgin lands, and intend on making it ours... I want to see our children grow, and be born into a new world where they don't have to fear a foreign nation invading them."
Garcia smiled and nodded, looking back at him before pointing at him. "And do you truly think these lands are unclaimed?"
Blair nodded 'yes'.
Garcia sighed softly before turning to him and walking over to him, sitting down next to him. "I am sorry to say, but these lands have already been claimed by The Commonwealth, thus my visit here today." she smiled a bit to him. "I am here to extend an invitation to join The Commonwealth. We can work together to see to it that your people are safe in these lands... we can give food, water, supplies for homes... anything you need, if you join our nation"
Blair winced at the offer, it was so good sounding... but he knew what he had to do. "I am sorry miss Garcia, but, I must decline. We are an Independant nation, and intend on staying that way." he smiled back at her.
"And why not?" she asks, perking a brow toward him, trying to make some sense of his refusal. "I mean, think of the children, your people... why not?"
"Because we are Unitarians... we will survive. Don't worry about us" he says, smiling at her with a friendly glint in his eyes.
Garcia's look of 'friendlyness' quickly faded as she heard the answer. Very wrong answer for her. "Is... that... so..." she says slowly, tapping a few fingers on the table in slight annoyance. "Think about it for a minute, Blair, you are being offered defense, food, homes, a future... all for the cost of joining a bigger body... are you sure you don't want to join us?"
Blair nodded. "I intend on staying free from all chains, I refuse to join any bigger body."
Garcia stood up and leaned in close to Blair, grabbing him by the throat. "You listen to me you fucking furball, you are tresspassing in OUR lands, you WILL join our people, or you WILL be destroyed... Death awaits you if you refuse again. I like you, but I won't hesitate to KILL every last one of your people and sack all your tech for my nation if you refuse to accept our laws!"
Blair gasped and growled out, glaring as his eyes turned a firey red, his fur slowly standing up on end. "I! REFUSE!!" he manages to choke out, before a gunshot rang out, a burning pain being felt in his gut as he grabbed her arm, body slowly going limp as he spilled blood out of his muzzle.
Garcia let go of him and looked down upon him, holstering her gun as she watched the boarder collie twitch on the floor, bleeding slowly to death. "Prepare the chopper, we're leaving..." she says coldly, kicking Blair upside the head gently with her booted foot, before heading for the door, taking her leave.
Blair would later be found, nearly dead by Tod, who seemed confused upon who had done this as the visit hadn't been on his roster of activities to attend for overseeing.

Garcia stepped into her personal chambers an hour later, picking up the phone and placing it to her ear as another human appeared on the large screen. "They refused Chancellor, what are your orders?"
"We will smear their image from this world then... raid their settlement and kill everyone when the time is right" says the Chancellor, sighing softly as he slowly shook his head from side to side. "I will bring it to the council's attention that they are trespassing upon our lands... and thus, will have them removed or absorbed into our empire... the latter preferred"
"Glory to The Commonwealth, Chancellor Fin" she smiled and saluted him. "I will do what I can on my end..." she then hung up and sighed, laying out in her chair as she stared up at the ceiling. She was superior to furs in every way, and she knew this... but hated it when she had to be evil. It always gave her such a horrible headache afterward.

Salnai approaches the council. "Greetings members of The Federation. I am Domonik Zian, ambassador to The Commonwealth of Salnai." He bows slightly before setting his papers down. "I come forward and present you with a problem with one of our land acquisitions. A citystate, called Aluez, has appeared in our inland colony." he brings up the location on the big screen map of the council.
"This citystate, when asked what it was doing here, replied that they were settlers in the area, and intended to make a 'nation' in the lands they had landed in." he changes papers. "This nation was advised they were trespassing in sovereign lands, and refused to move. I propose we pressure the displaced colonists into moving from our lands, or, join our nation for defense, protection, and so on." he smiled softly. "The quicker this issue is resolved, the sooner we can get on with our lives"
