-Amongst the Minds-*...Is it time ?* *We believe it is so...* *The majority have been finally reached...* *Then, this is decided ?* *We will join this conflict, for The Hive has emerged from its silence* ------------------------- -Intelligence Relay Tower 1, Catogani-* : *The news aren't good, and I fear the worst now...* Zio : *Right... The Nations of the old alliance have ''united'' once again, against a new kind of Enemy... The Anean Nation lies in ruins... The Cali outsiders have been wounded... The Hive can't stay silent anymore...* * : *This Enemy has started targeting random satellites in orbit... An unknown fleet has arrived. All indicate that they are maneuvering against the Enemy's fleet. Zio : *Assessment of Forces : The Enemy possess an Orbital superiority and certainly a great number of troops, Strategy unknown. The Second fleet diminish the Enemy superiority, but doesn't cancel it, Unknown strategy. The other Nations are seemingly putting their efforts on retaking the Anean Island.* Zio : *The other Nations currently suffer from an orbital defense weakness ; Our Orbital Defense Satellites, Lazarus 1-2-3, will be redeployed, so they will shield the surface, between Us/The Anean island/Their current position, from orbital bombs and ships... as long as they will be operational.* Zio : *Half of our mighty Naval Fleet will be bring at the disposal of the Other Nations, as well as a small part of our Air Force... We will keep the rest to defend, in case the Enemy is foolish enough to come directly on our ground.* * : *The Enemy fleet above the planet, still pose a great treat... And no Nations, from our informations, have currently enough to directly take down this Fleet... A more subtle approach is required.* Zio : *...The majority have already been reached... If a Nation can give us a way to secretly board the Commanding Ship of the Enemy Fleet, we will ''accept'' to use Her, once again... The Harbinger prototype will be able to quickly and swiftly take control of the ship and, hopefully, be able to flee and join this ''Friendly'' Fleet. This will undoubtedly bring chaos among the Enemy and greatly reduce the effectiveness and superiority of their Fleet.* * : *Is that all ?* Zio : *Yes. Make a resume of our conversation and send it on our External securized line, to the other Nations... and... send to the Aneans and the Cal Outsiders our condolences for their loses... maybe we could have saved some, if we had reached the Majority sooner... But we will never know.* OOC : ...I guess it is time to show, what should have been revealed in The Rift RP finale... (BEST to watch the picture, with the music ON... To get the feeling of it )s780.photobucket.com/albums/yy88/Nova225/?action=view¤t=Harbinger.pngwww.youtube.com/watch?v=t7wJ8pE2qKU&fmt=18

"Sir! The Suikodani have joined the fight!" "The blood pact is whole. We cannot lose now." While this was good news, Stidham couldn't stop pacing. He hated not knowing what was happening. "Send them a message back, welcoming them to the 'party'. We'll need some heavy air support to land at Anea, but we are receiving help from various sources..we will send you what reconnaissance data we have soon, and anticipate working with you again." "Is that all sir?" "Yes..." Dammit..moving too slow!------------------------- Kazi'na followed the wraiths...what else was there to do? They seemed to know where they were going, at any rate. He recognized the rail depot. It was smoking, in ruins, and enemy soldiers were firing into it. An IFV burst through one of the doors, running over a few as Aatuylvan soldiers poured out. One of the train garrisons? He saw only one train inside. Jarfi must have gotten out..he always was a stickler for schedules. The molten ruins of the engine of the other made his heart sink. The survivors were detaching guns, ammo, scrap metal, anything they could load into IFVs or trucks, and were setting charges on the rest, so the enemy couldn't use them... Kazi'na saw a needler rifle on the ground. He picked it up, it was light in his hands. He overheard one of the soldiers talking, they were going to reinforce a command bunker or something. May as well go...He hitched a ride on the outside of one of the tankettes, looking at the wraithwolves that lead the way, sniffing the ruins, slashing at soldiers. It was all so unbelievable. --------------------------------- Resha's GarrisonDammit DAMMIT!He lost one of the 200mm guns. Only three left. Things were not going well at all. His tankettes were down, and his men were using them for cover now, and his tank-hunters were pinned down. A volley of 30mm rockets fired from the windows, his fliegerfaust teams wreaking havoc on approaching infantry. His grenade launchers and machine guns dutifully firing, but they wouldn't hold out much longer, "How's the status on clearing the tracks?" "We've got the rails fixed, mostly, but without the second crane we'll need another hour to clear the other engine off the tracks, and we can't move any faster without getting our only crane in the line of fire!" "Dammit all to-" There was a screaming sound, a roaring, and the enemy tanks were lit up by explosions. Resha saw aircraft, fast ones, streaking off into the distance. They weren't the Aneans...--------------------------------- U.N. Task Force Omega, USS EnterpriseAll was a buzz as the forces of the planet mobilized. There were rumors of secret projects and nuclear retools in response to the invasion, but the captain had one job to do here. Retake the skies, by any means necessary. The Big E was leading the largest international naval force in years, with aircraft carriers and support vessels from all over the globe, including two Invincible classes and the Charles De Gaulle. They looked rather nice next to the Nimitz carriers. Marine landers were already on route to the beaches, supported by gunships and battleship fire. Helicopters carrying medical supplies, ammunition, and soldiers were being fueled. The captain watched as one of the alien troop transports exploded mid air from hits from the cruisers with him. The Admiral nodded his approval, only saying "Welcome to Earth, you bastards." [[OOC: Because someone has to bring them into it :3]]

Imperator IX, ASF Imperator, Command BridgeThe Anean 4th Fleet dropped out of hyperspace near Earth's moon. Luca is taking command of the Imperator. Of course, LucAI is also on the ship. I am mostly here to get the soldiers on the ground. I said, "LucAI, get into every military communications network on the planet and send this message. 'Attention nations of Earth, this is Imperator IX of the Anean Star Empire. I have arrived with 3,000 ASF warships and 600,000 soldiers. Effective immediately, I am taking command of whatever resistance has been formed to combat the Federation.' The ASF Imperator is the first of a new class and has yet to be truly combat tested. Now seems to be the chan- The Talon Star? I destroyed that though. No... this one is larger. Damn it. I guess that's my target for this fight. Over ASF Communications, I said, "All ships are clear to engage. Let's give the Federation hell and end this war here." Luca said, "IX, I got a message ASF High Command. There are another 5,000 ships inbound if the fighting gets too heavy." "Good. Get me in orbit of the planet as well so I can drop these soldiers. I will be going down with them." I still haven't taken my armor off. There's no time to take it off and get it back on and go down to fight. I headed down to the launch bays. Most of the pods were upgraded to carry 20 soldiers. There are also a few new 500 shuttles. They can carry 500 soldiers plus 10 GK-II tanks. All my ground forces are on this ship so if it falls, then we lost everything. Vice Admiral Luca Rio"You heard the Imperator, get us in orbit now." I said. I looked out all sides of the bridge. The ASF Fleet is all around us. No ship smaller than a mile in length and no ship larger than the Imperator at 94 miles in length. I think I might make this my flagship once all this is over. I think it's too big, but it's a hell of a ship. The Imperator made up the point of the arrowhead formation that the ASF is forming. The largest ships at the front and the smaller ones in the back. This is going to be a long battle. OOC: Yes, I know the Imperator is a huge ship. But that is like my superweapon. Everyone else has some kind of superweapon, so I should have one.

Singleton Pratzam ordered his ships to fall back and maintain position over the south. The arrival of IX's fleet would normally be something it would be glad to see, but with the message sent out, and the formation they held onto, Pratzam became somewhat irritated.
Pratzam responded back, "This is Singleton Pratzam of the Coronan Fleet. We are assisting in the defense of the South. We also have a fleet which is currently assisting Aatuylva with logistics. It is against our code to relinquish control of the entire fleet to a foreign command. We have already dedicated the Aatumrrcho Defense fleet to Aatuylvan requests however, so they are indirectly capable of receiving orders from you, barring anything which is completely insane. I will cooperate with you, Imperator, but I am not relinquishing control of a fleet which is very different from your own.
With that said, I am establishing an inert port for communications. All communications between us should adhere to this protocol, for your protection and ours.
We are monitoring the Federation's activities outside this system and will keep you updated."
Pratzam wanted to tell IX where to shove it when he made that announcement pertaining to command. But the better judgement of its 'crew' overrode that and found a more tactful way to put it. It wasn't the right time to actively fight over this.

All communications between us should adhere to this protocol, for your protection and ours. We are monitoring the Federation's activities outside this system and will keep you updated." Imperator IXWho are these people? Oh well. They seem to be allies. 'Understood. I was mostly referring to ground forces. That was why the message was sent over the planet. I am not much of a space commander anyway, so I am more at home on the ground. However, the Vice Admiral, the real commander of the fleet, will cooperate with you.
I do hope that when this is over that our people can meet face to face. I always welcome the chance for another potential ally. Deep below in the ship, the AGF soldiers are getting into their transports, drop pods, and shuttles. Tanks are rolling into the shuttle. It seems that every person is ready for another battle. These soldiers, for the most part, fought in every battle since the start of the war. I put my helmet on and got into communications for the ASF and AGF. Of course, any nation can hear this if they wanted to. "This war has gone on for 10 months. We have pushed the Federation from one side of the galaxy to the other. Now, when they are on the verge of defeat, they open another front. "We have lost billions of soldiers in Andromeda. They lost billions as well. But we are winning. This will be their last attempted attack. They tried to destroy us, but our friends of this planet refused to stand by and watch the murder of innocents. For that, I am in their debt. "From Aatuylva and Aluez to our former enemy of Cal, the planet has risen up to fight. This battle will bring together the planet together in a peace I am sure most have never known. The Federation never counted on them. "Now we are ready to make a counterattack. With our massive joint forces, we will push the Federation off our island, off this planet, out of the system, and into forgotten history. They are to be given as much mercy as they showed our people. "This battle will be the ASE's finest hour. The battle where we united with the indigenous forces to form a resistance against the most evil of the Empire's enemies. "When we get in position, we will be dropping into hell. Expect heavy resistance in all locations. We have to unload fast and set up defensive positions. Then we hold position until other forces get on shore. That's the basic plan. We will work out the rest when the time arises." I sat down in one of the shuttles and then waited when the rear door closed. Captain KCGood, IX is here. Now I just need him to get those soldiers down here. We held against another wave of soldiers, but we took several hundred losses. Lieutenant Masako TijerinaEven with that airstrike from those planes, it did little real damage. It's time to end this now. I said into our radios, "Better clear the area. I am about to detonate a nuclear device that should take out most of the enemy." I loaded the nuclear round into my gun, aimed it as high as I could, and then fired. A minute later, the shell exploded. We were right at the edge of the shockwave. That was a lucky shot to say the least. Though... it is very hot now. "Yeah, I hope that tracks are fixed. I don't want to stick around here too long." Federation soldiers seem to be running now. Good. Federation Task Force Commander Omer Arris
No... we had this victory... Bastards and their nuclear weapons...
The rest of the soldiers that survived are turning around and running. Cowards. Fight damn it!
I managed to pull myself from my vehicle and head toward the Aneans. I watched a panther on a Heavy Projectile Cannon turn toward me and fire a round.
Too bad they don't miss...

Yaha shook hir head slowly from side to side. "Blood loss isn't a joke with the injured" shi says, walking with him to the medical center before they laid him next to a bed, a communications panel sitting beside it. "You can use the panel to contact whoever you need, I am sure that your forces are already enroute." shi turned to walk out. "And the Enterprise hailing frequency is already selected, so go ahead and make your call, or change it to what you wish." The doctors set to working on his leg and numbed him up so he wouldn't feel pain anymore, and also started to fix his gunshot wound. It was a piece of cake for them with all the injuries that can be taken in the midst of their training programs. Within about three minutes, they had his leg set back up, and his wounds stitched, steril, and numbed so no pain would be felt for the rest of the day... or so they hoped. ----- Two hours after impact in Aluez"Well, everyone is out, and safe... now what" asks Tod, sitting on the side of a flatbed truck as he held a human child he had rescued from the wreck, of course, her mother was in a coma. Angel shrugged slightly before looking back in the direction of the city, before looking at Tod. "We move the people on transport trucks... it will take a few hours for them to come here..." she looked back in the direction of the city. "It's certainly better than standing around here... moreso with some sort of fleet threatening to drop a nuke on-" she froze when she heard a low thump in the distance, looking toward the forest to the east, seeing what looked like a smoke ploom coming from the trees... damn. "Looks like we wait with guns drawn, and either get a Skyship here, or those trucks..." he grabs a strange looking spear from the helicopter, holding it with one hand as he cept holding the child in the other. "To defend the innocent, and punish the wicked, that is our mission now..." Soldiers that had come to help, and the vehicles that were brought along began to form a ring of defense around the crash site, it was thin, but if the Feds were going to attack, they were about to learn the one reason no one ever screws with Unity. After all, a few of these soldiers had seen odds forty to one, and were on the one side and, somehow, won! Now was no different... with only ten gunships, five IFA's, two IFV's and a hundred and fifty soldiers. ----- "You are cleared for landing, please forgive us for the short clearence, we have a downed ship in Northern Aluez, and hostilities beginning to spark up from reports of troops trying to assault the Undercity construction site." says Blair, who was going to meet them out on the helipad. Oddly enough, he had found his way back home before this whole mess started... precognition is such a fun thing for their people. "Just set it down on the helipad, I am waiting for you here... and so is Rio from what I am told." ----- Explosions rose up from the massive clearing in the dense southern forests, before the entire construction site went into full alert, alarms beginning to sound before ten two story tall mechs stood up from different areas of the site. The security forces rushed to the fences and opened fire on anything coming out of the forest. "Invade THIS you scum!" says Colonel Indigo, raising the leg of the raptor he was in and bringing it down on top of a couple of the Fed soldiers before kicking the third back into the forest, turning the head of the Raptor toward an approaching squad and opening fire with the gattling cannons, mowing them down where they were standing. "I love these things... the reflecting armor does wonders against lasers!" "Don't get cocky!" shouts Orillion, before blowing an incoming pod out of the sky with a Pulsar stinger, making his way out of the complex and toward the forest. "Patrol the edge of the forest, and shoot anything that is on the IR sensors... they may not know this, but we can see them" he then fired another kind of rocket into the forest, which exploded into a blue light, everything for 500 feet of the impact circle becoming frozen to the core, before shattering into a million pieces from the pulse of energy from the missile... "Welcome to your frozen hell, motherfuckers" "And who says the missiles aren't ready?" asks Ina, doing the same to the tree line on the other side, before hitting the rest of the remaining troops with plasmathrowers, watching the mixing of extreme heat and cold take effect and produce a miniature tornado, which spin quickly into the forest and took another one of the Federation pods with them. "We cannot let them take this site people, if they get just ONE of these prototypes, it means even more trouble for the people in the other nations!"

Blade : *Message to the Anean Command Ship... Due to the sheer superiority in number, regarding the Enemy's Space fleet currently in orbit, The Hive would request any kind of small and fast or stealth ship, you could spare. If you can provide Us with a similar ship, we will make use of it to bring The Harbinger on one of their ship, thus starting a Chaos and Confusion Operation, that should reduce the effectiveness of their fleet. You don't need to worry on the details of the Operation, about how The Harbinger will reach Her goal, it's for the best.*
*Regarding the situation on the ground, we provide you with additional forces as so : Our naval fleet of aircraft carriers, each loaded with enough troops to operate all the Gunships and Bombers currently on board. You will surely find this air force useful, in order to retake your Island. They will be under your command, but our officers will still be responsible to assure the survivability of this part of our fleet... in case of problems.*
*Finally, our defense satellites will provide a large cover or a ''shield'' against Enemy aircrafts or orbital missiles or bombs, over the region between Us, your island and your current position. As long as they last.*
...That was it. The aircraft carriers fleet would be already on the move, when the Anean command ship would receive this securized transmission and the Scientists in Minia were already starting to synchronize The Harbinger, for Her incoming battle. They made sure that her AI was loaded with all the available hacking and counter-hacking systems, recently developed from the secret researches made on the remains of a few of the Pudrians, from the last War. How they were able to get those pieces, was of the highest secret, but the results were there... The Hive could only hope, it would be enough to hack the system of the Enemy's ships...

IX! I do hope you are well. I am afraid I am being delegated to national defense, and cannot help you. How is my snuggly spacemuffin? I hope you didn't lose anything important in your battles against your enemy. It has gotten far too cold and lonely in these bunkers...we should arrange a meeting. --------Lady Commander Jozi tiam ---------------------------------- NORAD"Is it programmed yet?" "This is a very delicate procedure sir, and there's a large chance that we will lose the satellite after we fire, so we have to choose our targets carefully. It might not have the punch, but if we aim right, it could knock out a cruiser for a bit..." "Well get to it!" Far above, disguised as an experimental communications satellite, the Prometheus satellite fired its maneuvering jets, facing outward. It's radar locked onto one of the Federation cruisers, sending intense directed microwave radiation at it. It was hoped that it would kill the crew and fry electronic equipment, crippling the enemy ship. It was probably one shot, as it would take considerable time to recharge it again for another attack. ------------------------------- Haverigg Air staging Platform, AatuylvaIn Aatuylva, several prototype VTOL fighters were being prepped. Using Cal blueprints and Aatuylvan ingenuity, these 'tailsitter' fighters were propeller driven and were armed with air-to-air rockets and two 20mm cannons. They couldn't quite break the sound barrier, but they were certainly fast enough to help defend Aluez. Blair, I'm sending over several VTOL Interceptors, we've been developing them with some help from friends overseas. They should help you with your problems, eh? Take good care of them, would you? The paint hasn't even dried yet. --------War Minister Michael Stidham

I thought IX crashed that. Probably something else that these people have. 'This is Vice Admiral Rio. I am in charge of space operations. As soon as IX gets to the surface he will be in command there. Anyway, where do you need the ship? I can send a shuttle in to just about anywhere.' I said to one of my officers, "Move the Enterprise into position over the planet." "Uh... ma'am, the Enterprise was lost." "What?" "You know the dangers of the E-Drive. We lost about 500 ships in transit. The Enterprise was one of them." "Very well... get us in position over the planet. Also, fire a full rocket barrage at the Federation fleet. Let's destroy them and clear the skies." "Yes ma'am." The Imperator has a rocket barrage that fires one million large rockets at a time. There is enough ammunition on the ship for three salvos of it. One was already used, so I have two left. That should devastate the Federation fleet. Losing a ship that has been yours for 51 years is hard, but I will ask for this ship as a replacement. As long as IX signs off on it, then I will have the most powerful Anean ship ever. I have no doubt he will allow it. Yaha shook hir head slowly from side to side. "Blood loss isn't a joke with the injured" shi says, walking with him to the medical center before they laid him next to a bed, a communications panel sitting beside it. Governor Tamarynn RioI tapped in a message to the Enterprise. Strange. It can't find the signal. That's not a good sign. And Luca... I sighed and tried to get some sleep. This has been a long day and the loss of the Enterprise isn't making it better. "You are cleared for landing, please forgive us for the short clearence, we have a downed ship in Northern Aluez, and hostilities beginning to spark up from reports of troops trying to assault the Undercity construction site." says Blair, who was going to meet them out on the helipad. It took only a few minutes to get to the helipad and land. When we arrived, I headed out the back of the shuttle. The AGF soldiers, all prepared for combat, left in a normal military fashion. I am not ready for battle yet, but that'll have to change soon. IX! I do hope you are well. I am afraid I am being delegated to national defense, and cannot help you. How is my snuggly spacemuffin? I hope you didn't lose anything important in your battles against your enemy. It has gotten far too cold and lonely in these bunkers...we should arrange a meeting. --------Lady Commander Jozi tiam Imperator IXLeave it to Tiam to send me something like that... I started to send a message back when the AGF soldier took it and read it aloud. I don't mind. It was a good laugh to them. Though, I think my title is now Snuggly Spacemuffin though for the duration of this invasion. I took the pad back, smacked the soldier (with the back of my armored hand), and then wrote up a reply. You're lucky I think to have national defense. I am about to drop right into the battlefield. Lose anything important? I managed to crash, and destroy, the ASF Harbinger. Luca is revoking my pilot's license for that one. I don't blame her. And when this is over, I will be sure to come over provided I don'tt get too badly injured. High Lord Admiral Hong Tupin
The Aneans are here... damn it... I can pull the whole fleet out and let the ground units fend for themselves or I can stay, fight, and lose with honor.
For the first time, I have to ask myself, if honor really that important? I can serve the Federation better back home with the fleet. It's still quite-
Countless rockets hit the ship and the rest of my fleet. I watched around me as hundreds of my ships exploded. The damn Aneans. AND they have an Imperator Class. I guess I have to end this now...
"All ships, focus fire on the Imperator Class! If we take more than 75% losses, we return to Andromeda. Leave the soldiers to fight alone."NORAD"Is it programmed yet?" "This is a very delicate procedure sir, and there's a large chance that we will lose the satellite after we fire, so we have to choose our targets carefully. "WHAT? WE LOST ANOTHER CRUISER? WHAT KIND OF WEAPON WAS THAT? Actually, I don't care. DESTROY THE ANEANS NOW!"
The entire fleet moved toward the Anean fleet firing everything they have. If we are going to go down, we are going down in a glorious blaze of fire.

In low Earth orbit was the ravaged hulk of a space craft. It was not one of space empires or FTL travel. It was a work horse of much more modest means. And it was empty and silent. Had been for over a year since the crew disembarked, along with the one whom had tried to kill them all.
The Crystal Eye came to life. A signal from ground control had brought its low level systems out of stand by. The lights of a few computers turned on, but the main lights remained off. The thrusters began to slowly drift it out of orbit. It would be an hour at least until it was in an optimal location.
In the rear of the ship an automatic loading device began to be hacked into. It had been designed to only be used by those present on the vessel. But they figured that this was a big enough emergency that tearing apart the code of the nuclear fuel loader was worth the risk.
----
"UN forces and Anean resistance. This is Tinisian fighter squadron three niner zero coming to assist. We have three more squads on their way presently and the UTAS Rayti and Boff on their way as well. They'll be a little longer."
"Rodger three niner zero."
"We're carrier based. They should be radioed up by now."
"That is correct. Welcome to the fight. We have reports of what might be a counter strike by the Aneans soon. We're also targeting enemy forces in a few locations on the island. They're harassing the locals. A few spots, a bunker, some sort of command headquarters we think, there's a couple trains, a suburban devel. Pick your targets as we need help in both."
"Confirmed. We'll split up. Two of our squads will move inland and the third will soften up any enemy locations on the beaches. We also will have bombers in the air in twenty to help with any armor."
-----
The leader of the trio was on the roof of one of the tallest buildings in the city. The other two had followed him, to afraid to take cover. The leader looked up and nodded. Bright lights, explosions, specs and reflections of space craft. An unusually large blot.
"Don't worry. I will only act if this place is to be destroyed. And even then it might not be enough to save everyone here."
-----
The skunk scratched under his chin. He knew that this was insane. But it was an option.
He pushed the button and began to speak. The computer would handle the translation and even the proper voice intonations.
"Attention Galactic Federation invaders. This is the avatar of supreme over-mind Krel, we have claimed this world and all beings upon it. Including any whom land. Your ground forces and the Anean colonists will become servants of the inter dimensional oligarchy in due time. However you will cease your assault and destruction of the other servants of our ultimate unity of time and space. Any continued destruction of our personnel and materials shall result in future securings of materials and personnel from your remaining worlds before the end of your current war is concluded as there won't be any left after the conclusion of the current actions in your home galaxy as shown by realities 83103 and 39159.
"If you would like to file a complaint with our complaints department, please do so between the times of 33100 and 33105 Kelad Standard Time.
"Have a nice day."
It was crude propaganda. But hopefully this signal, routed to a remote broadcast tower and beamed to their biggest concentration of ships would be enough to provide a distraction.

Dackham Singleton looked suddenly confused. The sensors picked up an enormous anomaly. A pockmark in space-time. "That better not be a Federation weapon", it snarled, "That's a pretty huge dent." It ran this by the other ships, and the conclusion was made that some ASE ships were lost in transit somehow. "I don't know what they did, but we're going to help fill in that gap.", it said.
Dackham's immediate fleet moved in near the ASE formation. Singleton Dackham contacted IX,
"Imperator IX, this is Singleton Dackham of the Coronan Fleet, Ready to assist."
10 neutron torpedos followed behind the first rocket barrage into the Federation fleet.
Dackham's command consisted of about 20 cluster ships now.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pratzam's southern fleet was now divided amongst patrol and logistics. It had lost about 5 ships in total. Two ships were dedicated just to collecting the pieces of them.
12 ships were now hovering around the SOTO territory. 10 more were operating logistics on the ground. Getting SOTO hardware where it needed to be.
Pratzam made a note to remember to contact each of the SOTO nations when they were finished.

"Imperator IX, this is Singleton Dackham of the Coronan Fleet, Ready to assist." 'This is Vice Admiral Rio, all assistance you can provide is appreciated. The Imperator is not in command up here. He is heading down to lead the counterattack on the surface. Also, target the largest of the Federation ships. If that goes down, whatever is left of their space force will scatter.' "Attention Galactic Federation invaders. "Have a nice day." High Lord Admiral Hong Tupin
That was almost convincing... until the complaint part. And I do still have communications with the soldiers on the surface and it show nothing out of the ordinary other than resistance.10 neutron torpedos followed behind the first rocket barrage into the Federation fleet. Dackham's command consisted of about 20 cluster ships now. The torpedoes hit the Talon Star and what is left of my fleet, which is to say only a few dozen ships. I only have enough weapons for one last strike on the Aneans... but what to target. I can attack their fleet and do minimal damage, or I can launch a nuclear barrage of their colony and make it unlivable. Then I can get out of the galaxy.
And to think my once proud fleet has been reduced to this...

Vice Admiral Luca Rio'This is Vice Admiral Rio. I am in charge of space operations. As soon as IX gets to the surface he will be in command there. Anyway, where do you need the ship? I can send a shuttle in to just about anywhere.' The torpedoes hit the Talon Star and what is left of my fleet, which is to say only a few dozen ships. I only have enough weapons for one last strike on the Aneans... but what to target. I can attack their fleet and do minimal damage, or I can launch a nuclear barrage of their colony and make it unlivable. Then I can get out of the galaxy. After the reception of their message, The Hive hadn't any other choice than to request an exceptional landing, near the city of Minia, time was running short... For convenience, it was requested that the ship would be ''guided'', with no people on board, as the Operation's priorities had changed... Some of the instruments on a solar research satellite had, luckily, picked some strange signals coming from mainly one of the Enemy ship... Those signals were awfully similar to nuclear material, but if the satellite wasn't powerful enough to entirely confirm this... The signal was strong enough to indicate the presence of a large number on that ship... Still, the target was clear for The Harbinger. That time... The Hive might be able to save people, if they acted quickly enough. She was willing to sacrifice herself, if The Hive had to resort to extreme measures, after all... She was ''made'' for that purpose and willing to take the risk... As soon as the ''Fast and Silent'' Vessel/Small ship landed, the Harbinger emerged from her ''sleep'' and slowly walked toward it... She was now autonomous of her actions. As she walked in the small ship, She perceived someone, but she didn't cared about him, not even when he spoke angrily while She connected herself to the ship's computer... She had an Objective to follow. Harbinger's AI took control of the ship systems, in order to gain a better maneuverability and control over the counter-detection measures and the ship itself and it quickly flew toward space... direction, the center of what was left of the Enemy Fleet. The Hive only had 1 try, to stop what could become a very problematic situation. As soon as the ship emerged from the atmosphere, Her AI sent a crypted signal to the Aneans, stating the treat of, what could be described as an ''orbital bomber'', was posing to the planet... Her mission : Infiltrate the ''orbital bomber'', ''deactivate'' its crew, guide the ship into a safe zone... where the massive nuclear explosion would pose no treat to the planet or to the surrounding ''allied'' ships... OOC : Seems like I have to precise... I'm going for the main ''nuclear -that will radiotionnate us all- treat'' bomber... not the Main Ship, but meh... Better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Near Persephone (Milky Way)
One of the Federation battleships fell through the atmosphere, managing to land in pieces, but leaving a good number of survivors. The other remaining ships pulled back and jumped into hyperspace, The Invasion of Earth was a much greater priority.
There was no sign of civilization or armament for miles around. There was no response from the scout that was heading towards Corona Beta. The commander punched some piece of the hull, Corona Beta was a near-brown Dwarf. Useless for habitation. The Scout last reported high x-ray emissions, before loosing contact. However, this tidally-locked planet they crashed on had a habitable strip. Perhaps their luck had turned around, they had landed on the very edge, the transition area between the roasted desert-side and the icy-dark side.
Some kind of weird small lizard-rabbit scampered by.
Perhaps they had evaded the Coronan fleet, they didn't seem to interested in following them. But for this moment, it just seemed to be an odd little strip of Earth-like environment. There was even weather. It looked like a big thundercloud was approaching, that meant there was water. What were the odds of something like this?
Of course, most of this rumination did not actually cross the Federation captain's mind. Since after watching the lizard-rabbit thing scamper about, looking on curiously at the ship's wreckage, he pulled his pistol out and shot the little sucker dead.
It was getting late, it seemed that the day here was somewhat brief. Not a problem, for now it seemed that fortune was now on their side. From this strange place, they would be able to gain a foot-hold in the Milky Way. Yes. Pure serendipity.
Night fell. Under a sky filled with green and orange auroras. He cooked his kill using a flame-thrower. It wasn't particularly tasty. It had the sickly metallic aroma and tasted like charcoal. The communications officer hadn't been able to get a signal out since twilight. Which was really an odd thing. Since the planet was tidally-locked and had no day or night.
This was an item of mild concern. But considering that there were seemingly no fortifications anywhere, and nothing but these weird shitty-tasting rabbit things, some neon-green bees and apparently a menagerie of other fairly benign animals, the captain just assumed it would be a matter of time before the rest of the fleet would find them. It would help if the damn aurora up there would stop so they could get a decent signal.
"Welcome to Persephone, You Bastards"
The ship and it's crew were never seen or heard from again.

South Broby, Miokalia
Elsewhere another Federation ship was crashing. Crashing into an air force base near the city of South Broby.
Flaming pieces of the ship rained down on the city, starting numerous fires and damaging several buildings. The base was the hardest hit though. They aimed well and hit a tank of anhydrous ammonia fuel, signaling the completion of the crash with a tremendous nitrogenous fire ball that took the entire base with it. The path of the ship left a scorched scar along the mountains nearby. National Guard was called in to put out the fires and assist in evacuations. At least half the city was leveled in the explosion, casualties were still unknown.

Master Sergeant Nakhi Fhulsar Welhan IIWhat the hell is that anyway? Doesn't matter to me, at least I don't have to fly. After some time, I watched a Carnta Class Orbital Bombardment Cruiser come into view. I REALLY hope we aren't about to attack this thing. If we are, I sure hope this robot thing has some serious firepower. Even the ASF is afraid of those ships. I decided to try and talk to it. "Uh... so... what are you exactly?" No response. Figures. Just because, I poked it once. Then a second time. I just want to see what it does. South Broby, MiokaliaElsewhere another Federation ship was crashing. Good. At least this operation hasn't gone to complete shit. There is still a chance we can win this... but... it's hard to say now. That should have dealt a serious blow to them though for now.
