Lieutenant Masako TijerinaI headed out of my office and started to shout various orders. The 50 GK-II tanks, 300 AIFVs, and 5,000 soldiers here are a plus. There are also 200 transport trucks. We will load those with supplies and give each a driver. I said to the Centurion, "We will be ready to move in a few minutes. I have 350 armored vehicles and several thousand soldiers. The soldiers that can't get in the AIFVs will get on top of the train, or in it if there is space available. There are cargo trucks outside that we can use for supplies." This is a mess. I hope that we can form an effective resistance. "Anything that doesn't fit on the working trucks, or in the train, we put into those in the repair docks, and we chain them so the train can tow them along. Any of your men that are riding on top should set up some barricades, we have spare parts for the pillboxes and artillery bunkers, tell them to get a welder. Steel plating with sandbags on the inside, that should do it." The conductor of the train had already gotten the engine ready, the guns armed, loaded, and most of them pointed skyward. The first bombs began to fall, but the superstructure withstood them...a random bombing run? "HURRY up you maggots!!" He picked up a soldier off the ground who dropped a dolley laden with ammo boxes. "DON'T do that again." "Y-yyessir."

Donnie was just beginning to think about checking downstairs, when the system's alarms started going off to notify him that they were approaching the end of the jump. A rough entry probably meant that they were heading for a rough exit.
He got on the PA system and said, "Everybody hold on to something, we may have a rough exit."
The plane indeed started shaking, as outside the window, light began to creep back in. A sudden side-to-side shaking started, which then turned into a more expected vertical turbulence. Followed by a sudden acceleration.
The plane exited in a stalling-position. Donnie slammed the jets to full power and started trying to level the plane. Constantly cursing the entire time.
Eventually they became level, after free-falling for 10,000 feet.
After calming down, he radioed Crossroads ATC. "CSRI this is Macquerie T-niner requesting emergency landing and emergency medical response over."
"Mac-T-niner, we got your exit on Haggrameter at 60,000 feet coming in at a 1 dot oh six-seven dansey. Please elaborate on your situation. Coming in a bit high and hard over."
"This is Macquerie T-niner. We had to evacuate from Gracaria Worldport uh, ASGR. We took collateral damage during escape and had to engage emergency return teletape at full burn over."
"Mac-T-niner, Good gods man. What is your assessment of the landability of the aircraft over?"
"This is Macquerie T-niner. We have not sustained significant damage to avionics. However we have sustained exterior damage to the fuselage. I'm authorizing telemetrics sir over."
"Mac-T-niner. ATC has established telemetrics connection. We have an emergency response team at the taxiway right now. Due to the condition and situation of the plane, do not pull up to any gate or jetbridge, after landing, a clearly marked service truck will indicate the proper location to taxi to. Your emergency landing equipment will deploy upon arrival for expedient assessment and care of your passengers. You're clear for runway Left-2- Southeast. I repeat: Left-Two-South-East Over."
Donnie got on the PA system and said,
"Okay, so we're going to be landing in a few minutes here: we still have to circle down a bit because we're apparently at 60,000 feet and if you dive too hard at this elevation then things get pretty hot. At this time, I need an assessment of the number of passengers aboard."
Pultae went up to the cockpit and said, "We got four total including you. There's myself, Siymda, and a Lieutenant General Reynaldo Wainscott of the AGF. Reynaldo sustained a severe leg wound during combat and Siymda sustained substantial damage from gunfire and is currently hunched over and non-responsive but I don't think he's dead."
She then returned downstairs and said, "We have radio again, if you need to contact AGF."
Siymda came online and said, "Make sure you give his gun back."
Donnie contacted ATC again:
"This is Macquerie T niner. We have a one AGF Lieutenant General Reynaldo Wainscott aboard, in need of medical attention. And we have a one Siymda - last name not identified - Mal-yik - in need of a appropriate mechanical attention. A one Pultae Cohlebarey, an aviation professional with Rodal-Aton EAC. And myself, Donald Ixhro, NCAB pilot with Rodal-Aton EAC. Over."
"Mac-T-niner: I need you to clarify or verify: did you say that there was a Lieutenant General Reynaldo Wainscott from AGF aboard?"
"This is Macquerie T niner. Yes sir that's correct. We have a one Lieutenant General Reynaldo Wainscott of the Anean Ground Forces, A-G-F aboard and in need of medical attention. Over."
"Mac-T-niner: Please be sure that the Lieutenant is allowed access to any radio clearance, as AGF is currently engaged in active severe combat operations at this time."
"This is Macquerie T niner: Uh, with all due respect sir: no shit really? Confirmed, the Lieutenant will be allowed total radio clearance as requested."

With the Telephase cycle endpoint at Corona Beta VII.
Taken from a recent conversation with Corona Beta VII. (this is one of several conversations going on between two observatories of sorts, one on Earth, the other on CBVII, there is some akwardness in the communication)
:> A galactic federation from Andromeda attacked the ASE colony here. CB7: Is this a movie? :> No it's real. They brought ships and ASE is fighting them. CB7: ASE brought their enemies to you? :> Well, we don't know. But it can be assumed. CB7: Then they should have known better. :> No, it's not like that. Well. I guess it depends on who you ask. CB7: What's happening? :> The enemies of the ASE detonated nuclear bombs on their colony. Their enemies came from Andromeda. CB7: ASE came from Andromeda... is this the galaxy M31 or is this a figure of speech? :> The galaxy. M31. CB7: Ok :> They are exterminating the ASE colony, but they have enough numbers and resources to do the whole planet. CB7: Do they intend to? :> The ASE colony was evacuated, but they're still here. They have enough ships to exterminate the whole planet. CB7: The whole planet? :> Yes. They have enough forces to take the whole planet. They are not communicating with us. CB7: It is good that we communicate. :> Yes it is. But this is important. I want you to understand. Just in case this is the last time we communicate. CB7: The last time? :> As I've been saying: the entire planet is in danger. If they were to destroy the telephasing arrays, or us. CB7: The whole planet is in danger? I will have to ask Atumrrcho. :> Who is that, have we met? CB7: Yes. :> Is it the name of a planet? CB7: No. :> Who is Atumrrcho? CB7: She is the sound of things between trees. :> That didn't translate very well, could you describe. CB7: She is quartermeasure of total view. :> It's still not translating very well. CB7: I don't know how to make you understand. :> I'm sorry, we should try to figure it out in analogies. CB7: She is in danger. She speaks. :> Is there something we can do to help her? CB7: Perhaps. I do not know. :> Tell me about her. CB7: She has a brother. Tsuvkagshtchtn. One speaks in water evaporations and the other in piezoelectric occurances. :> This still isn't translating very well. Are these Malych? CB7: No. They were not made originally. They just: Are. :> Are these mythological figures? CB7: She speaks of a world red like your blood. It looks similar to ours. It is surrounded by something. :> Is this a planet near us? Is it one of the ASE planets? CB7: She speaks of annihilation. :> Did you see the ASE and Federation war? CB7: Yes. I see. We may see. Hope that we do see. :> I'm sorry, I'm really having a hard time understanding you. CB7: We will see you soon. ::::Conversation End Tag::::

They know what is now at stake and what they have to do. I am just watching what they are doing to make sure they are working as fast as they can. Some of the soldiers are bringing the GK-IIs and AIFVs out and getting them ready to move. We should be ready to head out in 10 minutes I think.

OOC: Since no one else knows them like I do, I will play the Federation. Federation Task Force Commander Omer Arris, Ruins of New Gracaria
The Aneans thought they could defeat us in our galaxy, but we just bring the fight to their colony. They had their hopes riding on this colony and we crushed it. The Grand Lord will be pleased with this victory.
It was indeed funny watching the Aneans trying to escape. Every one of them are cowards. When we catch them by surprise, that is when they crumble. All they had was strength in numbers.
In front of me were bodies of several civilians that were unlucky enough to have survived the initial bombardment. They deserved it though. I brought my foot down into the face of one of the civilians and smashed it in. The smell of blood is indeed a wonderful thing.
Elsewhere, the soldiers are securing the island. We attacked an airport/seaport thing to the west and soon we will attack their factory and use it for ourselves.
Of course, I learned there are natives on this planet. They are fairly advanced it seems. They detonated nuclear weapons above the planet, but it was a futile effort. We only lost 5 ships out of our 1,100 in orbit. Just to be safe though, I moved the ships out to a longer orbit.
The people that used the weapons on us though, they must be working with the Aneans as well. For that reason, they will die like the Aneans here.
One of my aides approached me and said, "My lord, what should we do now?"
"Track down those that tried to attack our fleet. Destroy them. Show them as much mercy as we did these heathens."
He simply grinned and headed off. I have to investigate the colony more anyway. I need to see if I can find some usable intelligence.
I walked past a Federation firing squad. I decided to watch it. Among the people are 3 women, 5 men, and 2 children. Excellent. Kill the next generation so they can't rise against us. After the bullets were fired, I continued down the road.
If the rest of the world is like this, this will be a quick conquering. Of course, I need to get the last of my 7 million soldiers on the ground. I should be able to do that by tomorrow morning.
High Lord Admiral Hong Tupin, IFSF Talon Star II, Bridge
This is a beautiful ship indeed. Pride of the Fleet and our new flagship. It rivals even the Anean's new Imperator Class dreadnoughts.
After those nuclear weapons went off, we pulled back our unarmed ships and my warships are on standby to initiate a nuclear bombardment of the nation that did it. Thankfully the planetary networks are easy to get into.
We targeted a small country in the south and city called Tel. What a pathetic name. However, I decided to hold myself back with them. The Aneans must have brainwashed them into helping so they deserve some leniency.
I targeted the city with a 10 megaton nuclear weapon. It's large and can be destroyed provided that their weapons systems can target the fast moving warhead. It's more a test of their capabilities. I also included a message to their government.
'Attention Anean ally, this is the High Lord Admiral of the 1st Federation War Fleet. Cease your pro-Anean activities or I can assure you that your nation will burn. This will be your only warning.'
In addition to that, we began to target every possibly dangerous object around the planet and began to destroy them. I don't need another incident like that.
What fool would detonate nuclear weapons in their own atmosphere anyway?

Torvag Ouvio noticed that the forest around him fell oddly silent. But it wasn't just a lull in the wind. The silence lasted too long. It was too thick. He noticed the leaves on the smaller ferns began to vibrate, as though perturbed by wind, but silent. Soon, the silence was replaced by a sound never heard or isolated enough to know what it was.
Once the larger, broadleaf ferns began to chime-in, the sound clamored up to a roar. As though a train locomotive were right on top of him.
He started running. He ran up to the top of a hill, perhaps there he could look down and see what was happening.
On his way, he stumbled into a clearing and saw it. But it didn't make sense.
It was not clearly identifiable what it was. Some kind of missile?
It was a long, silver cylinder, hovering, motionless about 100 feet off the ground.
It wasn't marked, and the cylinder itself was silent, the forest was making all the noise. He felt a bit light and noticed he was almost starting to float off the ground.
So he continued to run to the top of the hill. He would have to get back to camp to tell the others.
"Good morning lady Aatumrrcho. Tell us what you see."

Yaha touched the Helicopter down on the roof before shi was greeted by armed guards, shutting the engine down and jumping out, running to the back and checking on the governor. "You still alive?" shi asks, tapping him on the cheek to check his alertness " Damned the distance" shi thinks, watching two medics haul him off. "You, Sergant, we have a problem..." shi felt a chill pass through hir, looking up to see a glimmer in the sky, heading south... a meteor? "We need to get him fixed, and let him send a message to his main empire... any way we can do that without getting ourselves blown to bits from orbit?" "Y-Yes ma'am, we can use the Tacheyon Transmission bands, but the message will take a little while to send to another galaxy" "HOW long" Shi growled through hir teeth "A week... to a month, depends on things in the way" he sighs and shakes his head. "It'd be pointless" "Try it anyway!" ----- Tod got the people out of Engineering before he turned to the Secretary. "Report to the medical tent if you are hurt, otherwise, please find a spot nearby where we can find you... Kael there will handle you, I have other people to find" he says, bowing to them before handing the woman off to the medics, who immediately rushed her to surgery. " There is no time to waste... faster we get out of here, the less likely chance we will have of having an enemy drop in on us" he thinks, before crawling up the side of the ship again, and making his way into the main passenger section... or so it seemed. Jack pot. "Help is here everyone, please remain calm" he says, beginning to walk through so he could take a catagory of all the injuries and people present... he at least hoped everyone was alive and could be moved easily. Kael watched Tod rush off to help again before waving to the secretary. "Greetings, is there any way I can be of assistance to you?" he asks, flinching when something in the rear of the ship exploded, big enough to shake the ground. " Oh please don't explode..." ----- Commonwealth of SalnaiAttention unknown space force, please do not fire pickles at our moon, we do not like the color green and would like it if you did not do as so. Palace Bunker, Accallia
Godsdamn it all to the six hells.
Translating the Anean message took far too long, especially considering it's contents.
"I want all of the citizen's militias mobilized within the hour, all of the Leviathans need to be fueled and armed yesterday, and tell those prats at Project Helepolis I want the first 'red rounds' to be distributed to our best artillery divisions! You, yes, YOU! Send a radio broadcast to Aluez, have them channel it to the Aneans, respond that we are arming the entire country, and should be able to provide logistics and heavy support once transport is established. And-"
"SIR! Unidentified contact!"
"Dear god."
"It doesn't match anything the foreigners see with their sky eyes, sir...and it hasn't engaged in combat yet."
"Get me wraiths on that position NOW!" Stidham grabbed a radio from an operator, keying in to the nearest broadcaster to that ship.
"Now, make sure this goes out in all the languages we know..."
"Yessir."
A few more operators began to key into it, ready.
"Attention unidentified ship! You have ten seconds to state your intentions before we shoot you down! I repeat, you have ten seconds to state your intentions! We will not tolerate Andromedan Federation ships in our airspace!"
The Deep Wood
The jungle was silent. But only to those who relied on their hearing. The trees rustled, jostled by a silent wind, a wind unseen or heard, one not caused by a breeze.
All else was silent, listening, for someone very important began to speak.
Hello again Coronachildren. There is blood on the wind. I taste dreadfire in the water. It burns even now, far away. I see huddled children. So far from home. Inside metal stones in the dark place. I taste their fear. Monsters. Monsters protect them. Monsters with dreadfire. Dead fire. Many children, fearful. My children, the fire of war burns in them. Aifaksumepi grows restless in the deep places. Tsuvkagshtchtn is fearful. He is never fearful. I am afraid. Fire. Fire and death. Dreadfire. Children. My children go to die.
New Gracaria, Ruins of the Governor's Office
Kazi'na couldn't feel...all was pain, and numb... Light..light, he could see it...
He remembered going to..he was going to ask them...flak towers, he was going to see if they wanted to contract a construction company he owns..and then...
A bomb, a bomb must've hit. Explains the rubble on top of him. He heard a scratching sound, and the rubble was moving...
He was saved! Light poured in, and he saw the face of his rescuers. Saw their red, gleaming eyes and pseudo-reptilian faces.
I'm in hell.

Scout Cluster #00B45C
The ship's singleton noticed that they were being hailed. The data connection to HS#Atumrrcho was still running. The creature addressed the hailing, he'd rather not divert this country's resources away from the real threat. It had to think a moment before coming up with the proper format of response.
"This is Singleton #2803.E32 of the Coronan Scout Cluster.. ship... #00B45C. We are responding to a distress signal sent from this planet. We are here to help the resistance against the invasion."
The message repeated in several older Aatuylvan languages, German, Kohtohkhan and MBTL.
The MBTL transmission got Miokalia's attention, since almost no-one uses that.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Qualt already had the military on high alert. DEFCON 1 was declared. When the report came in that a device of some kind arrived over Aatuylva, he had assumed it was probably Aluezian. He hoped it wasn't Federation.
The report of a transmission being sent in MBTL, indicated it was likely not either.

"What the hell did it just say?"
"It's hard to make out sir.. a lot of really old dialects...is..is that Ai'lupan? Ai'lupan hasn't been a language sin- German? What?! And...some kind of...gibberish."
"Hmm. I don't like this. Distress signal? The Aneans you think? Hrrm....Send a response, in german."
"Aye sir, ready."
"Singleton #280...forgive me, your nomenclature is odd to me, this is War Minister Stidham. Is your vessel a warship? What kind of 'help' are you offering? How much cargo and supplies can your vessel carry? We shall require assistance in transferring troops across the sea."
"...sir?"
"They said they wanted to help, let's see how far they are willing to go. Now get on those train conductors! I want supplies and troops moved to the staging platforms NOW! Flakturms at full alert, bunkers opened and tunnels reactivated! And get me Deep Patrol on the line DAMMIT!"
"Sir, the communal flak cannons and machine guns are being manned, citystate defense forces report they are on full alert, and the Six are operational and moving, sir!"
"Good....good.."

At NCAB, an array of meters began making an odd tapping. Some kind of pulse. This raised the concern about the type of weapons the Federation could be using. "We saw about 20 pulses on the haggrameter survey array. Huge pulses. Which either means that the Federation is using something like that causality bomb to interfere with FTL, or... I don't know.", Dosh reported to Qualt.
Qualt responded to the MBTL signal,
"This is Apparateur Qualt of Miokalia. I need to know why you're using our language and what's going on here."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scout Cluster #00B45C
19 more cluster ships have arrived. The Singleton assumed they would need more. Earth could not be allowed to fall. It received another signal. A response from somewhere else in MBTL. Miokalia could handle itself for now. Securing Aatumrrcho was the first objective.
They replied to Qualt: "Qualt.: Fc(Scout Cluster #00B45C). INS(wait). Ut.Auth(hammer.w) ,8 ,1. mnt(alert=d0). ;"
Then replied to Stidham, the Singleton was beginning to adjust to the way the war minister spoke. "Tell us where your supplies are and we'll drop in over there. Tell us where to send them to and we will send them there. Perhaps we should meet so I can improve our understanding."
Knowledge then poked the Singleton and said, "You come off sounding too trusting."
"Perhaps, but it is very obvious that they are not the Federation. Atumrrcho has shown us that they are allies of the Aneans, and thus they are fighting the Federation."
"You're still talking funny"
"Sorry, I get stuck in that. It's hard. Doing all this adaptive conversation-making."
"We should contact the Aneans soon so that they don't assume we're Federation."
"Federation war ship at Phobos. Fired on Scout Cluster Vessel #00A62E. Destroyed 12 of our cosmodrone fighters. We damaged their main engines with a neutron torpedo."
"Send a message to the Aneans."
A message was sent to the ASE colonial leadership. "Hello. This is Singleton 670.K301 of the Coronan Fleet. We have arrived in response to a distress call sent by an entity in Aatuylva. I believe we have a common enemy."
2808 looked at 670 and said, "Okay, I'll admit, that sounded better than what I would have said."
670 replied, "Yeah, the way you would have said it would have made us sound like Species PS416G*"
(*Species PS416G = the Coronan name for the Pudrians)

"A response sir!"
"...direct them to Tower One. I will meet them there. We'll direct them to our logistics centers after we've talked."
"Are you sure it's wise sir?"
"We brought down an Anean assault shuttle once. A flak tower has ten times the firepower we used then. I'm damned sure I'll be safe."
Meanwhile, in the fortress forges, the military trains were being fitted with special pipes and parts to redirect the steam, so that an aerial recon would misreport their positions, and hopefully save the engines from bombardment.
Old designs and weapons, considered and re-researched during the Pudrian event, were being looked at again. Considerations were given to needing heavier weapons.
The Aneans under the command of Tiam were readied as well, but Stidham wished to keep the heavier weapons in Aatuylva for defense. IFVs and tankettes were loaded into transport choppers as men and women piled into trains, heading for Accallia, Haven, and Haverigg.
The Maji readied, with much trepidation, several crates of a special ammunition that would be tested on the battlefield...if it came to that.
Aatuylva, once again, was marching to war.

"Hello. This is Singleton 670.K301 of the Coronan Fleet. We have arrived in response to a distress call sent by an entity in Aatuylva. I believe we have a common enemy." Colonel Nakhi WelhanFinally we are approaching Aluez. The pilot up front said, "This is Anean Shuttle 20-A1 approaching the Aluezian Colony. Aboard is Colonel Nakhi Welhan and 19 AGF soldiers. There is a second shuttle behind us with 20 AGF soldiers as well. Is there a location that we will be able to land?" Though I didn't expect it, a message came over my datapad. What is this? Coronan fleet? Entity in Aatuylva? What the hell? Against my better judgment, I sent a message back. This is Colonel Nakhi Welhan, acting commander of the Anean forces. I demand to know who you are, what you are, and what you intend to do. Also, just to be safe, I sent a message to Aatuylva. To whom it may concern,
This is Colonel Nakhi Welhan. Due to the fact I am now in command of the Anean forces of this planet, I am trying to gather all Anean soldiers.
I am aware that Lady Commander Tiam has a division of soldiers under her command. I am requesting that they be put under my command temporarily. After we take that island back, they will be returned and replenished.
If they are unavailable, then that is fine. I was mostly just making you aware of the possibility that I will need them. "Federation war ship at Phobos. Fired on Scout Cluster Vessel #00A62E. Destroyed 12 of our cosmodrone fighters. We damaged their main engines with a neutron torpedo." High Lord Admiral Hong Tupin
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE?" I yelled at the commander of the IFSF Carnta. "Damn it. I guess the Aneans have more allies than I thought.
"Divert 80 of our warships over to fight these people. Nothing smaller than a cruiser though. Right now we dominate space so we don't need to have the big guns over Earth."
I thought for a moment. What if the ASF shows up suddenly over Earth. If that happens then we have a problem. I can pull everyone back though. The Talon Star will hold out for a while.
I thought this would be an easy victory. These Aneans are proving to be much more difficult than I thought.

I understand you require reinforcing, but those soldiers are the only ones currently in Aatuylva with combat knowledge of the Federation. I require them to stay behind and train my soldiers against the tactics of the enemy. I will reinforce you with as many soldiers as I can spare, and Deep Patrol agents, but the mechanized division under Tiam is required for home defense. I hope you understand. --------War Minister Stidham

Scout Cluster Ship #00B45CKnowledge poked the Singleton again, "Straight into the datapad? Not the wisest way to introduce yourself. I didn't know you could do that." Singleton said, "It was just an inert text file. I doubt they'd let anything like external scripts run on the thing though. I'll talk to the colonel." Knowledge then said, "I'll talk to the Stidham Unit. Then #504.3C7A will be Knowledge it looks like. Nachtan Singleton says that the Federation is setting up a hyperspace endpoint near Persephone." "I see", said the Singleton, "So the Federation assumes this galaxy is just like their own. I do hope that we cause them to believe otherwise." "This is Singleton 670.K301 of the Scout Cluster Ship #00B45C of the Coronan Fleet. We are Coronan Malych", The singleton stopped. 'Malych' was such an antiquated term for them, and better described Miokalia's inorganics. "We intend to defend this planet against the threat of the Federation.
The Federation has engaged us near the Martian Satellite 'Phobos'. And now they are en route to the Persephone system to try to engage us again."---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Icetray, MiokaliaAfter having a momentary black-out, scaring the entire cabinet, Qualt eventually came to and started trying to explain what he just saw via the Coronan data stream. He said, "It seems that the place that my species came from, hundreds of years ago, has brought about 20 ships with them. I don't know how much more. This is highly uncomfortable for me. I mean, this is not the same clunky old civilization that I think our ancestors were sent here by. We've diverged." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scout Cluster Ship #00B45CThe cylindrical ship was joined by another above the Aatuylvan forest. The new ship then shot off towards the designated meeting point described by Stidham. The silver cylinder came to a halt. Then a device, or creature, something, emerged from the bottom of it and decended to the ground, slowing it's fall with some kind of electronic thruster. It eventually landed on the platform lightly with hardly a sound. A tall serpentine thing, clearly mechanical. Very different from the bulky robots down south. This thing was spindly and lithe. It's eyes, however, seemed to be the venue through which it showed expression. And contrary to it's mysterious appearance and mechanical pointiness, it's voice was disarming and almost a bit comical. It didn't seem to move it's mouth when it vocalized, "I'm the Singleton of the Coronan Fleet. Take me to your Leadurrrr. ... The Stidham Unit."
