General IX
I headed out of the tent. Great, I have to go tell Tiam this. I swear, if this ends breaking any bones, I will beat Stidham my metal leg. Or arm. Whichever is easier to get to.
I'm not much liking the heat around here, but I guess I have to deal for a little bit longer. And then I get the hell out once all the formalities are dealt with.
I wonder where she is? Probably by the rai- I suddenly ran into someone. It's neither Nakhi or Tiam. If I am lucky, the former.

Oh no nonononono.
Can't let them find out.
Sy'vina was merely a student, but even she knew what the black ribbons meant..
Her robes were of a light cream color, signifying her as a student of the University in Majin. There were blue ribbons tied around her wrists, meaning she was a scribe, a keeper of letters. In otherwords, a reporter. She clutched in her arms a small, oddly-colored fox that, if one were to look at from the right angle, could be said to glow.
She couldn't let them take him, no, she wouldn't let them. She barely heard the guards yelling at her as she ran through into the tent city, ducking into one of the tents as her pursuers were stopped by the armed guards, no doubt arguing over jurisdiction...
-----------------------------------------------------
"Well hello Spaceman."
Tiam looked down, still wearing the General's hat.
"Any particular reason you are scouting today?"
She grinned a feral grin as she stepped back, re-adjusting her tunic.

Figures.
"Well... I was told by Stidham to come find you. We came to an agreement about the incident a weekish ago. And our agreement is that one of my officers would marry one of his. Well... I volunteered for it... and well... he said you. So... I guess we're going to get married."
Gods help me.

A couple of the Aluezi soldiers walking past overheard his thoughts, and his conversation, looking at one-another before laughing and continuing on their way, cracking the occasional joke about what they overheard. ----- More blasted disturbances... figures with this planet. He had noticed someone come scrambling in when walking before overhearing the commotion from the gate. Well, seeing he wasn't allowed to interfere, much, Lucifer decided to set up a seat in the Naira control room, and watch the arguing with his bodyguards and a few other soldiers. "Wonder what they're arguing about" asks one of the soldiers, before looking over the Naria equipment with a soft hum "No idea, but don't touch that... Tisra or lord help us, Alison, will slit our throats if that messes up" Lucifer chuckled before nodding slowly. "Yea, that is true... I wonder if they're gonna shoot one-another" ----- Alison tapped a kit on the nose to get him to hold still before giving him a booster shot, cooing to him afterward and picking him up. "There... now was that so bad?" she asks before looking over at the two newcomers, giving a curious chirp toward them before waving a wing toward them. "Hello! How can I help you two today" she recognized the Feral, but who was the girl? Strange clothes... looked like they had been tattered and ripped apart... a survivor from the wraith attacks, perhaps?

There were several moments of silence. Then growling.
"Really then? I suppose he gave you signed orders saying something to that effect? Or that he versed you in the ritual combat that must be undertaken for the marriage of an Ai'lupan to be official? And how likely it is that people lose limbs in said combat rituals?"
----------------------------------------------------
Exhausted, and her footpads bleeding, Sy'vina had barely enough time to put the ferian down before collapsing, the only words from her mouth the barest whisper.
"They're coming."

Yep, I'm fucked.
"Well... no. He kind of ran out on me without giving me the details. He then told me to go find you. I guess I made a mistake?"

Alison and a couple more of the medics jumped forward and collected the two off of the floor, moving the knocked out girl to a bed and beginning to treat her hurt foot and look her over for other injuries, noticing something amiss that she wouldn't mention just yet.
"They..?" mutters Zack, which caught Alison's attention right off the bat. "Geh? Don't lookit me, I don't know who they is!"
"Yes, but I have a funny feeling you're the cause of this mess..." she says softly before walking over and sitting down in a chair, patting her lap. "Come. Tell me what happened... seeing she was carrying you"
"Do I have to?"
"You want me to read your thoughts?" she couldn't really do that, but she made it believable at times... almost too believable. "Now come..."

"The only mistake you made, Spaceman, is not bringing your sword. We shall have to arrange the duel for sundown, when the eyes are most easily deceived, and hopefully by then my orders will have come in...poser Accallian, thinks he's Ai'lupan half the time...find one of the InShtu wolves, they'll be around. You're going to need a crash course in dueling conventions and I don't have the time to teach you. I promise not to hurt you too badly, but if you fail, then Stidham's little game of 'fixing' everything might end in your premature death. Good luck Spaceman, you'll need it."
She turned away, heading off to a far section of the tent-city, to bark orders at someone manning one of the new autocannons that had been set up...
----------------------------------------------------
The first team had been foiled at the gate. This did not bode well. They needed a specimen from the ship.
The Ai'lupans were no-doubt going to hold another festival that night.
A dark grey fox in similarly colored robes watched the site from the nearby crag. Black ribbons and sashes adorned his person, and his dark red eyes surveyed the bustle of the crash-site.
The Headmaster's toady was dead. The body lost inside the ship. Now more...invasive means of observation were required. The Headmaster required information.
He will have that information.
But not now, must wait until nightfalls again on the next day...

General IX
This is feeling like some bad role playing game now. Something along the lines of:
Quest: Till Death do Us Part... Goal: Find InShtu wolf
Reward: Lifetime enslavement
I will mention this later to Nakhi and Rio. The former will probably laugh. How the hell am I supposed to find one? Just question every fucking wolf I come across? Actually... that also sounds like an RPG. I hate my life. Why'd I ever agree to this?
I picked one wolf, but saw it was Anean. Figures. And now I am back in the tent. Maybe I could just fake my death and disappear. Or just disappear. Say I was lost in the forest or something. That won't work. Damn it.
I looked around. I can pretty well tell apart the Aluezi and the Aatuylvans. Behavior I guess. InShtu does seem sinister. Let's look for a black wolf.
After at least a few minutes of walking around, I found one. I walked up to it and asked, "Do you mind if I ask a few questions?"

"Ohoho, that depends very much on what you intend to ask, outsider. And what answers you wish to find. You could ask questions, but some questions will have answers you do not wish to know, or if you are even capable of understanding them."
The young Ai'lupan laughed, he and his compatriots circling around IX like a pack of wolves around prey, a few of them playfully growling and pushing at him from random angles. He, himself, was tall and lanky, wearing blackish robes that hid many blades and at least one pistol. Like many of his kin he had white burn scars about his face, in addition to scar patterns up both arms. His red eyes held an odd humor to them, indeed, his whole person seemed to find IX inherently hilarious, as if he couldn't keep himself from laughing.
"But relax little pinkling, we know you want someone from Inkaghsur Shtularshi. You wish to know how not to die, for J'ozi does intend to kill you to spite her erstwhile human master. Just step inside good friend, oh yes, into the tent, into the tent!"
--------------------------------------------
Sy'vina awoke staring at a black ceiling, her eyes adjusting easily in the darkness with the glare of the red lights...
Gods no.
Her arms, had to move her arms, had to claw out, had to get out no they were here this was one of their places had to get out out out out!!!
She struggled, almost jumping from her prone position on the bed...

"I do believe I've spent enough time in the company of death for my tastes, Comrade Redwing" says Zack as the door to the room slid open, the lights coming on and illuminating the room, which was just like a modern hospital room, only with a ton more advanced equipment. "Well hello sleepy head!" he smiles, walking over and rubbing up against her leg. "How ya feeling?"
Alison walked in and blinked when she seen the girl standing, shaking her head a bit before leaning against the doorway, smiling at the two of them. "You'll be fine miss, you rested for a good while, so you should be good. You're welcome to stay aboard the ship if you wish"

"Wha- Where am I?"
Her knees were shaky. These were not the masked figures from her nightmares that she was expecting, nor were there any...best not to think of that.
"Zack? Are we...safe?"

"Very much so. No one from the outside is even allowed to be here... well, with the exception of you" he smiles softly.
"You're onboard the ship, in the medical bay" says Alison, stepping forward before letting the door slide shut. "Mind if I do a check up on you hun? Just to make sure you're okay to walk around"

General IX
If they push me again, I swear to god someone is dying.
"Alright..."
For once, I regret not carrying a weapon. I don't like this country anymore.
I leaned down a little to enter the tent.

The Ai'lupan kicked IX hard in the back, knocking him to the ground, his claws raking down his back.
"Rule number one for Ai'lupan duels: Everyone cheats."
The 'pack' had scattered, leaving only the one in dark robes. His face no longer held the humor, and it was twisted into a half snarl.
"She's going to try to kill you. You want to win? Then find a way to cheat. Traditionally it's fought with naught but blade and claw, no armor, no cloaks, nothing but a single knife and the willpower of the opponents. If the watchers who gather don't see it happen, it doesn't. You want to win, human? Then verse yourself in poisons, or hire someone out to weaken her before you do battle. If she doesn't show up, you win by default."
He leans forward, his red eyes gleaming, pulling several marbles from his cloak.
"Same goes for her. You want to win? The second rule...Survive. Good luck General. Make your preparations. You have until the Circle is called."
He throws the marbles to the ground, turning away as they all erupt in bright flashes, dying down after a few seconds. He was gone, a dark form seen climbing over the gate into the forest.
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Umm...ok....I..I don't understand..how...?"
She shakes her head, leaning on the bed, almost falling onto it again. She caught onto the bed before she fell completely, bringing herself down onto the floor slowly.
"I..need a little help.."
