June 10th, 0 A.S. It has been a full week since the ship crashed, and everything seems to have been put into even and working order. People were moving into the ship at night for sleep, and moving out into the camp for their standard everyday life. The tent city had became a new home for the colonists, at least, for the moment as they tried to get things back on track. One would expect the basic necessities of life in this makeshift city. Even a small lake had been built from a missile crater for children to play in. Food stations, medical facilities, and at the main tent, a stage for entertainment to be held for the colonist population. And even now, one could hear music streaming from that very tent from a piano, a sad tune, admittedly, but it was one that warmed the soul as it told a silent story of the very situation they had been dropped into. The one that plays this tune, you ask? None other than the white furred Fennec, Tod Vlodovic, who was wearing a white tank top with his BDU bottoms on. Every note he hit with a seemingly energetic caring to it, to play out the song for those who listened. Over in the corner of the tent, was Tisra, who was telling a story to a group of kits of varying ages, and even a few adults that had decided to join in to hear the stories the little Fox Ferian had to offer. "And that's how I turned pink for a month" she shudders at the thought of it happening again as she looked over at the stage, before looking back at the audience that she had collected. "So, any suggestions of stories?" "Oh! Oh!" a little Lemur-Lynx hybrid shoots her hand up, trying to overshadow everyone, who seemed to have a story idea for their own. "Pick meee!" Tisra couldn't help but smile at the little Hybrid, well... seeing she hadn't gotten the chance yet, why not pick her? "Okay girl, what story do you want Auntie Tisra to tell?" "The story of Sifian and Shadow!" she says cheerfully, the kits seeming to cheer at the suggestion that she made. Tisra nodded and tapped her nose in thought. It had been such a long time since she had heard that story, or even told it, but she still remembered it just as brightly as the flame shined. "Alright, Alright... I will tell it" she smiles softly. "Though be warned... I haven't told it in a while" she grins before standing up and beginning to pace slowly back and forth as she seemed to be thinking. How did that story go again... ----- OOC: The Song that Tod is playing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LbkxP_UCBQ&feature=related

The once over-run walls of death were now clean, manned, and shining. Guns and blades in salute to a victory the week before. The Aatuylvans were still trying, as long as they could, to keep other nations out, keen on acquiring any trading rights or technology for themselves, first...
Others, had different ideas. After all, this was a colony ship, yes? What's the first thing a ship does when it reaches land?
Well, the Ai'lupans didn't know, but figured it would involve the copious amounts of fruit liquors, wild game, and musical instruments they brought.
After all, it smelled like a celebration, and there's nothing any good Ai'lupan wouldn't do to turn it into yet another holiday.
There was some trouble getting past the guards, but Ai'lupans had their tricks, and soldiers away from home got so lonely...
They found a nice place near the center, far from the piano music, so they could listen, and wait. When the time was right, they would gather drums, flutes, and lyres, they would pass out wines and food, and they would do what they did best.
Well...
The second thing they did best.
No killing for tonight.

"Quit dicking about..." says one of the guards before jumping off a transport truck, running over and entering the center tent, smiling at the pleasant sight that was waiting for him. "I'm off duty command, at center tent" he then walked over and took a seat near the stage, listening to the pleasant tones of the piano playing.
Tisra froze at the sight of the guard, then smiled a bit before sitting down in front of the crowd of kits and adults, facing them. "Okay... the story begins in the Xi system. It was the second century of the colonization of the system, and Shadow was personally watching over the system as her personal pet project.
After a little while, and a few closer looks at the main planet, she noticed a troublemaker, who seemed to be becoming a burden of the people, and was abusing his powers to devistate the innocent, the weak, and the helpless, and destroy the strong, the lawful, and the good. Shadow frowned upon this newcomer, and sought to find out why he was doing these devilish deeds.
She came to the planet in her physical form, and confronted the troublemaker, her body shrouded in the shadows that no light ever escaped, except for those accusing, menacing red eyes that never blinked.
'Why do you hurt these people?' she asked, her tone demanding and stern. 'What have these innocent souls ever done to you?'
The figure turned toward her and spoke in a hateful tongue toward the shadow covered figure. 'They do not worship me as their God, therefore, they must suffer' he says, his body covered in bloodsoaked silver armor, marked with the scars of war. He took the form of a three-headed dragon, which either head on his shoulder screamed his name every time he finished speaking: Sifian. His tail was covered in horrid mouths filled with sharp teeth, and eyes that could seemingly see everything. His wings were covered in horrible strands of flesh, and tentacles that sought to grab everyone they could to do horrible things to them. His legs were covered in horrible dark brown wood, which seemed to be riddled with maggots, termites, and other various insects.
'They do not worship you, as they have no God, and never shall have one' says Shadow, her tone rising in anger. 'I will give you one chance to make amends, and leave this world.' she reached out toward him, her fingers turning into blades, as sharp as a razor, and as long as a Claymore.
The creature merely grinned as the heads on his shoulders shouted his name again. 'I shall never repent, not to a non-believer, not to a pathetic trickster like you' he laughs and turns toward a child, a little Wolf girl, sending his tentacles to go out and capture the pure, untouched soul. As the tentacles grew closer, they suddenly came to a stop, when a silver flash appeared in front of them, and reduced them to husks of flesh and shadow.
'I warned you' Shadow merely grinned as her form turned into a pillar of darkness, standing into infinity and sucked in all the light that the system had to envelop, the only light seen was the two, gigantic red eyes starring down upon the now dwarfed figure. 'Now you shall PAY!' she screamed from all directions, blades flying out from all directions and stabbing into the figure.
Sifian howled out in pain, and then laughed, absorbing the blades as they struck him. 'I cannot be slain by mortal weapons you fool!' he then threw the blades back out of his body, into the infinite shadows. 'You do not tell a God what to do!' he boasts proudly, only to see a hooded figure appear before him, grinning wide as he seen the weapon she held.
'Gods do not mess with the physical world, Gods do NOT EXIST!' she shouts with the force of a trillion voices speaking as one. 'You are a mere demon, a pathetic, over-egotistical, powerless demon.' she raised the silver scythe high into the air, the blade as large as a Semi, and shining with a holy light that illuminated all of Unity. The pole of it stood as high as the Capitol tower on Weihr, and was made of silver, and covered in diamonds, which shined with the light.
Sifian seen this horrible weapon and gazed upon the hooded figure not with over zealousness, but now, with deep, cringing fear. 'You cannot destroy me! I AM A GOD!' He boasts again, his claws growing out, and began to tear into eternity with the slightest of movements. 'I shall prove it by making YOU my slave!' he then charged toward Shadow, screaming with the fury of millions of voices, intent on slashing Shadow to bits.
Shadow seen the attack coming, and raised the mighty weapon high, the weapon changing sizes in the fraction of time, and swinging down upon the charging beast. The blade cut his head clean off, and rolled away into the void of space. Sifian's body lay dead on the steps of the capitol building of the planet. 'This false prophet shall trouble you no more' she shouts to the people, who began to celebrate the death of such a beast at the hands of their protector.
To this day, Sifian's body remains on display on the steps of the Xi capitol, encased in gold, and preserved as a reminder that no matter what, Unity is more powerful than any force in the universe, even more powerful than the Gods that claim to have power in this universe."
Tisra then laid down as she finished the story, closing her eyes half way and smiling at the crowd of kits and adults. Who began to whistle and cheer at the story after a few seconds of silence. "Glad they liked it..." she thinks, her tail flicking about happily

One of the Ai'lupans wandered near Tisra's tent, listening outside of it to the story. After it was over, he walked in, grinning.
He was wearing several bone charms and what could best be described as the bastard child of a kilt and a loincloth, the color of dark, red earth. His ears held many piercings, some of them barbed wire. One eye was a fierce, blood red, and the other was white, a scar covering it, like someone dragged him through barbed wire face first. There was a large knife at his waist, in a scabbard, and on his wrist was a large purple and large bracelet with a yellow eye on it.
He walked up to Tisra, grinning almost ferally.
"Well, that was an interesting story...but..if you and the audience would permit, I'd like to tell a story about the land you are in, my home..if you will it?"

"Why not?" asks Tisra, stepping to one side and pointing at the seat behind her. "Take your seat" she smiles and sits down in the audience, a bit curious about what kind of story this colorful person would have to offer. The kits headtilted at his appearance, a few of them muttering amongst themselves as they wondered if he was a Provarian slave warrior. Tod stopped playing for a moment to look over toward the new storyteller, perking a white brow toward him before turning the page on the sheet music, looking for a certain song before finally finding something he wanted. "Perfect!" he smirks and begins to hit the keys of the piano. ----- OOC: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqo1qT6ry18

"Well, I must caution you that this tale is not exactly a happy one, though it isn't a sad one by our definitions...it is a tale about an ancient war, and of one man who was gifted by our gods. You may laugh at us for such beliefs, but you will not laugh at this. I speak of the one we call Iolus. During the last fateful war...it was many centuries ago..the Last Great War. I will not trouble you with the horrors of it, for all wars are horrible in their own ways, no, I shall tell you of the one bright light of it."
"During this time of strife, before Aatuylva was united, the scheming, godless and greedy leaders of the three nations...not to say that they were bad because of these things, but that they were simply facets of their personalities that compounded upon it. For, you see, without threat of vengeance, most mortals will commit depraved acts...
"...there was a village, not too far from here, that was a key point in this war. Cannons were placed on either side of the river, and traps and mines on the land...those who controlled this village controlled the flow of goods to Majiin, and to the rest of Aatuylva...and the Alpha Lord, the ruler of Ai'lupitar, had blocked it off, to starve and thirst his enemies."
"He was a short-sighted wolf, and did not realize that the same river gave his people life. But he would not be changed in his ways, he was so desperate to destroy his human enemies that he would risk everything. No one could stop him, either, as his bodyguards were the fiercest fighters in all of the world...save one."
"Stories soon began to trickle back to him, of a tall, unstoppable warrior, who, every day, would go to the dams he built, and smash them to pieces. He would scatter the Alpha Lord's soldiers like dust in the wind. Their mightiest warriors brought to their knees by one man."
"Naturally, he was enraged. He sent the fiercest of his soldiers, madcreatures who rode demons...what we call revwhonn, and what some here would call 'wraithwolves'. These 'wraithriders' were the most feared warriors of the war. Even the riflemen and tank commanders of Accallia were terrified of them. These creatures could tear through the strongest metals, and laughed off the bullets of man, and the swords of Ai'lupan. These creatures...as tall as a man, but they could get bigger, with eyes of cold, firey red. Black as coal was the color of their skin, and their howls and screeches can make souls shiver..."
"But when they arrived, he was standing there. He said his name was Iolus, and that he would not let them interfere any longer. They laughed. While Iolus was a tall man..eight feet tall, some said, he was not very fierce. No claws, no weapons, not even any armor! As naked as the day he was born and he stood there, facing four large demon-beasts and their lance wielding riders! If anything, the only remarkable thing about him was a small amount of white hair, cut close to his skull, and eyes bluer than the sky..."
"Iolus, he told them, 'I hear the cries of children in the jungle. I hear the trees as they weep and wither. I hear the screams as the monsters you use begin to corrupt this world. No more. No more.' ...and that's when he struck. The wraiths, the soldiers, they were shocked. What could he possibly fight them with? He had no weapons! But they forgot the most important rule: The jungle provides."
"He passed by a young tree, only about a foot or so thick, and he uprooted it from it's base. Using both his mighty arms, and in one terrible swing, he knocked all of the riders from their steeds. In a second, the steeds were thrown into the freed river, washed away by the torrent. When the Alpha Lord came to see this warrior's bones...instead he found that the river flowed, and that his mighty wraithriders were gone."
"Later he would find that all of his forts near the river were gone, as if they were never there. The jungle heard the screams...and it sent a warrior to humble this unruly warlord. And humbled he was as within the next week the war was over, and his family line was broken, never to rule again..."
"It is said, that when you walk in the jungle at night, if you are of pure heart, that Iolus can be heard, fighting back the darkness, the monsters...and to this day, not a single child has been lost in the jungle since then."
He hoped they liked his story, but Aatuylvan stories always held a bit of morbidity...for a country that has only known war, happiness is hard to come by...

"Fairy tale..." mutters a few of the kits, before giggling and cheering for the newcomer, the adults merely clapping and smiling toward the storytellers words, even Tisra was impressed by this strange person.
"That was certainly an interesting story if I do say so myself," Tisra smiled softly before rolling over onto her side, cuddling into a taur kit that was next to her with a soft purr, her eyes closing half way as she thought about the story. "A bit morbid, but still seemingly warm and happy." she giggles and leans into the petting that she got from the kits.
"Oi!" shouts Liska as she entered the tent, wearing a black bikini and nothing else. "Has anyone seen my towel? I know it was in one of the crates before they were moved here" she pads in and moves over to the crates, opening one and beginning to nose and rummage amongst them.
Tod looked over at Liska and pointed at the third, smallest crate. "Third one, near the middle." he says, before returning to playing his song on the piano, as if he had never stopped.

"Fairy tale? Tell me then, younglings...when you look into my eyes, do you see a wolf, someone like you? Or do you see a revwhonn."
Another feral grin, his fangs gleaming in the sunshine, though his fur did not shine...he turned to the over-dressed newcomer.
"Oh, what's your name?"
He walked over to Liska, grinning.
"It would be my utmost pleasure to know it, dear."

"I see merely a red eyed alien, and I do not know what a 'rewhonn' is" says Tisra, the kits and adults agreeing before she took the place of the person. "So, any suggestions?" she asks looking about the crowd before pointing at a little red eared kit. "You there, what's your suggestion?"
"Can you tell me about the story of how you got so pretty, auntie Tisra?" he grins and paws out at her with a playful giggle, no bigger than a small, newborn puppy maybe. He could be fit inside of a tea cup if one was to put him in one.
"Aww... well Alani" she stands up and strikes a pose, tilting her head toward the kit. "I am just naturally attractive... it's not much of a story, but as I got older, I got prettier, and prettier" she pads over and slurps him between the ears, whispering into his ear. "Go pounce daddy... he needs a hand with playing piano"
Alani grinned wide and nodded happily, before darting away and heading right for the stage.
Liska blinked a few times and turned to face the grinning one, perking a brow toward him. "Liska Bmir, why do you ask?" she asks, wrapping the towel around her torso as she took a slow and deep breath.

"Because it would be most rude of me to ask you to dance without knowing your name, dear lady."
He walked circles around her, much like a predator would, the grin ever-present as he chuckled.
"Well, would you, Liska Bmir, like to dance with me?"

General IX
"Sir!" The dozen soldiers jumped up to salute me. They were just relaxing since there's really nothing to do anymore.
I was just checking in with them since I have nothing better to do back at the colony. I should probably oversee construction, but it's not a big deal.
I sat down on one of the small chairs and took my beret off. I decided not to wear my dress uniform. Black pants, white short sleeve dress shirt (with black shoulder straps with 3 gold stars on them), and a black beret (also with 3 gold stars).
As I did, I heard a piano playing. That's odd. I asked, "What is that?"
One of the soldiers said, "It's a piano."
"Yeah, no shit."
Another soldier, a sergeant, said, "It has been playing all day. We've just been listening."
"Right. Well, I am heading up there."
I got up and walked toward where the music was coming from. As I got closer, I saw a group of people. I stood at the back and listened to the piano. I figure someone would eventually notice me since I think I am the only human here.

One of the kits looked over from the crowd, a neko, before raising her hand and waving toward IX, smiling happily toward him. "Hiii!" she says cheerfully, before looking back at Tisra. "Can you tell us about how Tod fought a single battlegroup in a light fighter?"
"That would be a story for him to tell little ones, I don't really know it all that well other than he nearly died" she says, sighing and looking over at the human, smiling and waiting for him to come over to join if he wished.
Alani growled happily and jumped up into his father's lap, crawling upward and coming to rest in the chest pocket of his father's tank top. "Hiii daddy!" he smiles and licks under the vulpine's chin, before looking down at the piano, watching how his father played. He always enjoyed watching it, and listening to the musics that he played.
Liska smiled softly before nodding and wrapping the towel around herself. "I won't dance right now, buuut... you are welcome to join me at the beach, if you want" she says, before starting for the door of the tent, laying eyes upon the human.

General IX
As I walked toward one of the free areas, I said, "Well, I have a few stories if you all are interested. Haven't been able to do anything quite like that in decades."
I know the Liberation of Gracaria might be a good one. Same for a few things from the First Federation War.
"Of course, if not, I am fine with watching."

"Good!" as he approached, Tisra returned to the crowd, taking her place in the lap of one of the adults. "By all means, tell away!" she says, flicking her tail about in a slow yet happy manner. Tod smiled down at Alani and kissed him gently on the head, before plucking him from his pocket, kissing him on the nose before placing him on the piano keys, flicking his tail slightly. "Wanna help daddy play the piano?" he asks, tilting his head to the right. "Yes yes yes!!" he grins wide and nods happily, bouncing a bit on the keys, but not enough to make them sound off. "What song will we play papa?" "I am thinking..." he smiles softly and taps a few familiar keys to give him the idea. "Something relaxing. I take one side, you take the other?" "Okay!" And with that, the two began to play the piano together, strumming out a beautiful and relaxing tune with every little keystroke from the two. Liska smiled and padded toward the river, perking an ear at the question. "Me? I'm a gunship pilot, assault to be exact." she says, shivering a bit when she felt a chill run down her back from a shadow flying overhead, knowing who it was. "What about you? And I don't believe I caught your name..." ----- OOC: www.youtube.com/watch?v=94HYEe1bOFU&feature=related
