General IX, New Gracaria
I picked up a piece of paper and read over it. On it was a report from the ASF Enterprise. It reported the possibility of the landing, crashing rather of a colony ship.
"Why am I only just hearing about this?" I asked.
Nakhi said, "I figured it was nothing but a small meteor or something."
"Right, well we need to intervene now. Don't withhold information from me again. I will make the decisions. I want a 50 loaded for an insertion. Get Rio. The three of us are going along."
"A 50?"
"Yes. If it just so happens that they are hostile, I want something that can get us in and out. The 10s are too small and for some reason we don't have any 20s."
"I will get it ready."
"Good. You do that. I want the 1st Terra Company, 2nd Platoon with us."
"Why them?"
"Just do it."
"Yes sir."
---
Roughly 100 Miles from the crash site
Our shuttle flew high over the landscape. I sat in the rear seat, but I chose not to strap myself in. I got up and walked toward the front of the shuttle. There are 49 other soldiers, counting Rio and Nakhi, sitting down. I am the only one in uniform because I want to look at least somewhat professional.
I don't think that anything can go wrong until landing.
---
OOC: The 10, 20, and 50 are different types of shuttles. - The 10 is used for VIPs or small military attacks. Most common variant. Carries 10 soldiers/passengers. - The 20 is used as mass transit between the surface and space stations typically. Carries 20 soldiers/passengers. - The 50 is the largest shuttle variant. About 200 feet long and has a wingspan of about 400 feet. Carries 50 soldiers/passengers or 10 soldiers and a GK-II tank.

The Gunships turned and began to escort the heli into the bay, remaining outside once they seen it enter and land where it could, before returning to patrol a mile wide ring around the crash site, hopefully to keep anymore people from entering. ----- Alueza flinched when she seen a dropship approaching from the northern sectors, giving a nervous laugh before turning the ship's active alert on, condition amber. "Attention all active personnel, we have an approaching dropship coming toward our location, be prepared for defense, we cannot take chances with the outsiders and all the attention we are seeming to draw to ourselves. Arm your gunposts and take up sidearms." she says over the comms system of the ship, in every language of the Unity before the running lights in the ship turned yellow. "That is all. And please do cooperate with the Hebraic speakers if they are trying to treat your injuries." ----- Yaha coughed slightly and laid back in the floor of the boat before looking up at the sky, looking around in a shifty manner before slipping the little Fox under hir shirt, letting her head poke out from the headhole of hir uniform as she got comfortable. "Heh... I wonder how much of a delay we are going to be having with this mess..." shi says, just trying to keep hirself calm and level headed... and not paranoid to the point it annoys the patrol shi was with!

Aatuylvan AirspaceThis new aircraft, unlike the others, was impossibly large, like the Leviathans, and moving in fast, at attack speeds. Unlike the 'courtesy' given to the aliens' ships, or the outsider 'aid' craft, this newcomer was given a true Aatuylvan welcome, as it registered as hostile on the radar. All available gunships, rocket batteries, and AA emplacements were redirected towards it and ordered to open fire, creating a wall of flaming death. One of Tiam's units, a relatively new self-propelled rocket company, was also in the area, and it too, opened fire on the Aneans.* The Leviathan, loaded with medical supplies and soldiers, was unworried, and proceeded to the crash site to land. -------------------------- * upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/74/Panzerwerfer_alias_Maultier.jpg

The Order happened to arrive at the very same time as the Aatuylvan Leviathan, the three helis landing atop of the ship and deploying their personnel, before the Chinook lifted off again and began to spray the area with a coolant solution to further cool down the smoldering crater around the bottom of the ship. If one was to look hard enough, they would see a few of the turrets on the massive 400+ meter tall structure, that was over 2 kilometers long! "Okay, find the hatch, and drop in, they're expectin' us as well" says the leader of the Order forces, glaring down at the Aatulyvan craft, wondering what they were going to be doing here, if not just making more of a mess. The Venoms, much like the Scientist helio, got the same message, and treatment, being directed toward the landing bay which was plenty big enough for the visitors... all that they hoped was no one else would come running with overgrown ships or things that they couldn't land in the bay! "Am I the only one that thinks this is crazy?" asks the pilot of one of the Venoms, having a bit of a Russian accent to him it seemed. "Ten bucks says the next craft that shows up is a damned cargo plane!" "Maybe... we should just let it land here... after all, the thing IS a bit big... maybe just observe them?" says the other pilot, which was in agreement with Alueza, ironically who was thinking the exact same thing! The Chinook tanker that the ship had launched earlier touched down on the top of the ship with the blackhawks. ----- The Order was heard by everyone that was unfrozen or in the process of just waking up, springing into action and grabbing the standard sidearms that were common in their armed forces: Submachineguns and pistols, before returning to their previous duties.

General IX
I closed the door to the cockpit just as an alarm went off.
The pilot said, "General, you had better take a seat. We have multiple incoming missiles."
As I sat down in the side seat, I said, "Wonderful. Who is firing?"
"I have no idea. We have never been to the mainland remember?"
"Right. What are you going to do?"
"The shields should hold for 15 or so seconds. The point defense should probably hold them off for another 30 seconds. The armor should also last a minute."
"So you're telling me we might as well crash and save us time?"
"No, but-"
"Give me the radio." He handed it to me. I set it for all frequencies. I said into it, "This is Shuttle 50-1 belonging to the Anean Star Empire. Cease your fire immediately or we will retaliate."
Thinking about that, I decided to say the same thing in all the other languages I know. These people probably speak something else. Spanish, German, and Russian. Maybe I will get somewhere with one of those.
The rockets hit us and exploded on the shields.
The pilot said, "They brought our shields down. Point defense coming online."
More rockets hit us. The armor plating on the bottom and the sides is finally being put to use. It shook the shuttle violently. The pilot jerked the controls hard to the right and pulled back. We just barely missed a mountain.
I said, "Take us to a lower altitude. Arm the main weapons. Shoot at anything that fires at us. I am not in the mood for this shit today."
"Yes sir."
We dropped down quickly, but we hit a few rockets on the way down. We leveled out a few hundred feet above the ground. Now I just hope that nothing else happens today.

It mattered not to the Aatuylvans who sent the craft. It was violating airspace, and now threatening violence on Aatuylvan soil. Several of the Wraith gunships were reduced to fireballs as the Anean weapons opened up on them, but this only increased the resolve of the survivors. Aging flak cannons were now being aimed up at the intruders, and while impotent against well armed enemies, the Aatuylvans did not care.
It was perhaps an unlucky thing that Tiam was held up, for if her train had been on time, it would not have been able to aid in the attack against the shuttle. But as things were, the train, barreling down the tracks as fast as it can, loaded with IFVs and soldiers, arrived just in time to engage. It too turned its machine guns, and turrets, and rockets, to the sky, and fired at the Aneans.
---------------------------------
Several soldiers and IFVs, and a group of Tankettes drove out of the Leviathan, moving outward to secure the area and put out the fires in the forest. The soldiers were Ai'lupans and Accallian humans, armed with needlers, rifles, and flechers.
The Leviathan took off once more, to proceed to the opening in order to deliver supplies, fire extinguishers, and medics.

General IX
No response now. Great. And now we are getting flak guns fired at us. This day continues to get better and better. It was clearly a mistake to come here.
I looked at the display that showed the hull integrity of the shuttle. The bottom is still holding out, but the left side isn't. We will probably lose that.
The pilot pushed our speed up to 500 knots and flew over the hills as low as he could toward the crash site.
As we went over another hill, I saw a huge metal thing. Before the pilot could react, it fired.
The rounds hit the side of the shuttle and blew off the left wing. We dropped into the forest and slid across the ground. The right engine is still on and the pilot is attempting to keep the shuttle straight.
We hit a hill and flew off the top. We flew through the air for a little bit. In the middle of it, the pilot shut the engines down.
Moments later, we smashed into the ground. The pilot looked at the map just before the power went out.
"Well we made it."
I got out of my seat and left the cockpit. We are at an angle, so walking is odd. I was careful walking down the stairs. The rear door of the shuttle was open. It looks like it was opened in the crash.
I looked around at the soldiers. 25 appeared dead. It looked like 13 were unconscious. The rest were getting out of their seats.
I guess I just have to wait for all those soldiers to swarm my shuttle. Maybe being the one guy in uniform wasn't so smart.

"Frey's Ghost, look at the swarm!" says Alueza just as Blair sat down in his command chair, having his shoulder reset and put into a sling this time around. "Like a buncha pissed off hornets..." adds the A.I., giving a sigh as she continued to watch the chaos via a GPS satellite network, who it belonged to was anyones guess. "Heh... I wonder if we're next on the long list of things to be shot at" he says, shaking his head as the images of the fight came up on the main screen, which had been repaired while he was sprawling about in Engineering. "I mean, they have soldiers outside, do they not?" "Yes, yes they do..." she grumbles and then smiles as she seen that some of the weapons systems were online, mostly defensive, but she didn't care, it was something. "Say... wanna make a bet? If this strange craft is shot down by the time it reaches our fifteen mile mark I will... change my avatar look" Blair perked a brow and chuckled softly. "Ohh this'll be fun... and if it doesn't, I will... wear a Yamato school uniform, complete with skirt" he says, shaking his head slowly from side to side before waiting for Alueza's reaction. "Oh! It's a deal then!" she snickers and smiles at him. "Prepare to lose..." ----- Orillion looked down at the troops that were deployed from the Levi on the ground, snickering a bit before shaking his head slowly from side to side. "Quite... the interesting little set up..." he says, lighting a cigarette and taking a drag of it just as Alison emerged from the hatch, the crow turning his head and giving a flashy grin toward her. "Long time no see, birdy" "The... hell are you doing here, Orillion?!" she asks, dusting her feathers clean of a bit of blood and dust that she had collected on her way up to the top. "Last I heard, you died when the Reliant was lost!" "Some time it be, huh?" he chuckles and shakes his head. "Luckily... it wasn't as big as this one... seven people compared to ten thousand... pretty unnoticed, right?" "Yeah... you seem... old, what happened?" "Well... when we get the chance, I will explain the issue that happened... I take it by your age, you were only recently unfrozen, and told that I was lost on a voyage, correct?" he tilts his head. "I arrived here back when... the Roswell incident in the United States happened, so..." "Save the story for later... right now, we need to worry about trying to get the Lifts established..." she sighs and shakes her head from side to side, looking down at the Aatulyvan troops beginning to fight the forest fires. "I think in a bit, we can open the lower hatches too... so we can deploy our own vehicles for added defenses..."

The men near the impact site swarmed on the Anean ship, Tankettes and IFVs first, heading to, and up, the open ramp. Soldiers armed with heavy flechers arrived, to arrest and detain the survivors. Some medics came as well...
---------------------------------------
Jessa became increasingly worried about the sounds he heard. Rockets? Flak? What the hell was happening? A separatist raid?
He only hoped his boats could get there before it was over...
At least the gunships kept true to their word and escorted them up to the mouth of the river.
-----------------------------------
Lyhng couldn't believe the size of it! Not only was the Headmaster right, but the ship was humongous! He wondered how long he'd be allowed to look around...before the head researcher bungled something up wanting technology.....

General IX
Shot down by a train. That is going to look horrible on my report. I watched as the tank things came onto the shuttle.
I said, hoping it would change something, "I am General IX, commander of the Anean forces and the Governor of the colony."
I doubt they understood that, but it's worth a try.
Nakhi, who is still in his seat, said, "Aww, look at these. They are so cute! They think they are tanks."
I can already tell this isn't ending well.

The lower bay doors to the ship slowly unlocked and opened with alarms as the massive double doors slid apart, showing the next little surprise for both the Aatulyvans, and anyone else that just happened to be stomping around on the ground outside of the crashed colony ship: Quadruped Battletanks. Three of them! "That's it... if anyone else comes around, we'll be ready for em!" says the Sargent of the tank unit, the three of them beginning to roll forward with their treads, only to stop once they were cleared and the doors slowly closing back shut. The tanks themselves, were massive, the main body was twice the area of a Leopard 2 tank, yet the turret seemed to be in the same design as one on the two that had it. Being armed with 150mm dual-main cannons, and 50mm twin chainguns for issues with infantry and moderate anti-air. The remaining tank had several rocket tubes, all loaded with 100mm unguided rockets, 95 shots in total. All three of these monsters were painted black, and had eight optic sensors all around their turrets, which glowed red like a spider's eyes in an old horror movie from the 1970's. ----- Blair growled lowly as he apparently lost the bet with Alueza, who was laughing up a storm as the Aatuylvan forces stormed the downed lander craft. "Hahaa! Oh what's next, outright firefight breaking out so we have target practice for our security detail tanks?" she asks, knowing those were the only three tanks they had in stock, the rest of the vehicles being ATV's and light attack buggies, nothing really to stand up against anything bigger than basic infantry. "Oh shut up..." he mumbles, looking upon the scene as well and wondering the same thing the A.I. was: What was going to come next?!

The medics moved quickly to the wounded, although unfamiliarity with the armor would be problematic...
A middle-aged wolf with black fur, an eye-patch, and a long flowing coat walked aboard, as the soldiers began to 'relieve' the Aneans of their weapons.
He walked straight to the uniformed one, he looked important enough.
He was...speaking some sort of language...His name? Nine? What?
"You are within Aatuylvan custody until it has been proven that you are not collaborating with separatists. Until then, you are prisoners."
He knew for damn sure they couldn't understand a lick of what he said, but the intent is clear enough...and the translators should be arriving shortly anyway, they'll find out what kind of odd gibberish these new outsiders speak...
The Ai'lupan Commissar, as his hat would reveal him to be, held out his hand, indicating IX's revolver.
"I'll be taking that, thank you."
The soldiers were loading the wounded onto trailers hitched to the back of the Tankettes...

General IX
A commissar I assume. Damn hats give it away. At least ours have red visors on their helmets instead of a hat. Although I would like a hat like that...
"Yeah, that's not happening. This revolver was a gift from the Emperor. I am not giving it up without a fight. I will however, remove the bullets from it. I am just not giving the gun up."
I pulled it from the holster and removed the bullets. I offered them to him. I hope that works.

"You there" says an Arctic Fox, which seemed to speak Aatulyvan, albeit out of practice and the toning being a bit strained. He was pointing dead at the scientist that was brought aboard earlier. "Come here for a moment, would ya?" he adds. He was wearing standard ACU gear that one would probably see in modern military groups like the Navy Seals of the US, or the SAS of the UK. ----- Blair shook his head as he watched the Venoms beginning to dock with the ship again, seeing that they were running low on fuel. "I guess I lost... but, I won't go through with your little 'agreement' until these outsiders are done with us..." he says, sighing softly before looking up at the ceiling. "I just... hope this madness ends soon... and that we can get started on creating a good home for our citizenry" "Fair enough, but I expect you to do it by the 10th of July" says Alueza, smirking a bit before deciding to be nice and change her look for the hell of it all to something... more cute: a Feral Cross Fox.

The Commissar 'hrumphed' and pocketed the bullets, slamming his paw on the wall while holding a pair of cuffs. Naturally, what follows is what you'd expect, pat down, cuffing, and shoving out the door...the survivors are treated in a similar fashion as their weapons are placed into the back of one of the IFVs..
------------------------------------
Lyhng followed Sentir as the grumpy fox walked over to the arctic fox...
What could they want?
What's going to happen?
-------------------------------------
Finally....By the Gods!!!
Fire, everywhere! And such a hole! Was..was that an aircraft?
"Ulfante's tits its gigantic!!"
"Watch your mouth Resh!"
This.....this was where Yaha was headed?
Jessa looked over at the wolfess, probably for the final time...as he was going to be transferred into InSec custody soon...
