University of Majiin
"Who was that Artificer?"
"Damned if I know, some bloody foreigners. Probably those Tinisians or something you hear about on the news."
"Shouldn't we hav-"
"I'll not have my site crawling with outsiders! Who knows what it could be, as I'm sure its not a bloody meteor and if it..it could be some outsider flying machine..I don't know..but its in Aatuylva now, and that means its mine!!"
Lhyng wasn't too sure about the Artificer being sent to the fallen star...he was tall for a fox, with grey fur, unlike the red of many of his kin. He was old and haggard looking, and had more than a touch of greed in his eyes.
Didn't act like a proper scientist at all.
-------------------
Jessa saw the three- but too late! His men scrambled for weapons...then stopped.
Jessa felt his arm jerk, and he realized the target.
Well, damn.
The searchlights focused on the three, as several of the boaters started cheering, throwing the remains of the screamer into the river.
After their excitement died down, Jessa greeted these armed newcomers.
Invaders, probably, but no excuse to not be civil about things.
A wolf..female..with brilliant white fur. Odd. And a...another furred thing and, a dragon?
They were very, very, far from home, whoever they were.
"Greetings outsiders! I am Prime Jessa of the Aatuylvan River Patrol!"
He whispered to Resh, "If they fire on me, you'd better be able to shoot back, you big arse."

"If they shoot, one in each head, got it boys?" shi says over comms before beginning to move to the edge of the river, lowering hir weapon and waiting at the waters edge for them, hir markings and eyes still glowing bright as day, except hir left eye had turned blue, in comparison to the red. Shi raised a hand and motioned for them to come over... shi couldn't hear them, but... they seemed to be a bit odd. The Dragon nods and digs his claws into the edge of a tree, climbing up and sitting on the edge of a branch, getting a height advantage on them as the Raccoon disappeared into the shadows again like a ghost... LITERALLY! "We're ready, be safe Comrade Yaha" ----- Alueza flinched when she felt an explosion on the hangar door, glaring and blinking when she seen the doors had... fallen off of the hangar. "How droll... for a minute there, I thought Liska blew them off" she sighs and shakes her head, going back to her 'boring' job of watching the sensors and radar, seeing a single green dot dart out from the hangar.

Jessa saw the wolf walk over, and he motioned for his crew to stand down, as they began to get jumpy as her compatriots left to their hidden positions. He took one last look at his crew before stepping to the side, mostly Ai'lupans, like himself, a few humans...Resh was a mountain wolf though, his grey fur a stark contrast to the black fur around him.
He walked to the side of his boat, and he threw a rope ladder down and climbed down, jumping to the river bank
Like most Ai'lupans, he had the red eyes often seen in stories about demons...
But this newcomer...her eyes were glowing.
He held out his hand, hoping that the choppers got here before these newcomers blasted him into oblivion.

Shi smiled softly and took a step back when shi seen the local jump down onto the bank, clearing hir throat before slinging hir rifle to hir back, giving a very slight bow of respect toward him, before straightening up again. "Can you speak Anglic, or Germanic?" shi asks, in both languages, shi thought shi heard german undertones in it, but shi wasn't sure... so maybe it could be similiar?
The little cross Fox from earlier had wandered her way out from under the bush she was hiding under, whining and hiding behind Yaha with her ears pinned back to her head, even her eyes were glowing, except they were green, not red. "Is... is he an enemy, miss Yaha?"

"I'm sorry, what?"
The first...he couldn't understand, but the second sounded similar...but Jessa still couldn't make heads or tails of that one either. He wasn't one of the officers from Accallia or the better cities, he didn't have any fancy language training.
He shrugged, that was universal..at least he thinks it is...
Then he saw the fox..was that what he saw earlier? A fox...that glows?
And..it was quite possibly the most adorable thing...his wife would lov-
What.
It talked.
It just talked.
Jessa knelt down to look closer at it.
"What are you, little one?"
-------------------------------------------------------
Lyhng tried to get comfortable as he was strapped into the cargo helicopter....so much equipment, and even the more expensive electronics! He was worried the trip was going to be canceled, he had heard that the military had sent two choppers already to the area, and if they got there first...

"MAJOR! IT'S TALKING TO ME!!" she says loudly, whimpering and cowering more behind the white Wolf, only to yelp out when shi knelt down and picked her up, petting her down a few times. "I'll take that as a no..." shi sighs and decides to resort to the next best thing: Sign language. Shi moves the little Fox up to hir shoulder and sets her up on it, making sure she wouldn't fall off before signing out something to him. 'Can you read sign language?' ----- Yes, Alueza had noticed the choppers lifting off even before she knew it herself, giving a digital huff and looking at the remaining inventory. "Huh... Avengers... OOH! We have two undamaged Venoms!" she grins and messages two of the pilots to launch out and set up a guard parameter around the ship until Liska got back, to only intimidate, unless fired upon.

Hrrm...
"Alin, get over here! Your mother's deaf, right? You know what this is?"
A young human, with dark hair and eyes, climbed down from the boat and watched Yaha's hands.
"......It's not Aatuylvan signs sir.......umm....."
The human pantomimed several symbols he thought were common, trying to find some common basis. He got as far as trying to ask if the wolfwoman had anyone needing medical attention before someone on the boat yelled about choppers inbound.

So... they were Germanic based on language, glorious! Shi snorted slightly before beginning to use this newfound commonground to try and converse with them. "I am Yaha, we need food, medical supplies and help, our ship crashed on your world and we do not know if we are going to be able to survive on our own" shi says, trying to explain it as simple, and as clear as possible as shi could, speaking and signing at the same time.
Tod yawned and emerged out of the shadows with an M60, shouldering it and glaring between the grouping of outsiders, his armor being much, much different looking from the Wolf's. It was purely metallic looking, with what looked like holy seals and tabards, finally laying eyes upon Jessa, giving a smile. Seems the Fennec was more... different, compared to the Wolf and hir comrades. "And don't forget to mention that we may need tools, Yaha..." he says, his voice deep and commanding, though confusing due to the height: 4'11"
Yaha nodded a bit and blinked before adding the little snippit to hir message, hoping that there was enough commonground there to save them time.

Dammit. Still couldn't...well, at least some things were mostly universal.
"Resh, get the medkits, and power up the boats again. Keep on the lookout for Wraithwolves. Alin..try and tell them about the Wraiths. It'll be hard, but you have to try. I can't help them if they won't let me bring weapons, and as armed as they are, they are probably as jumpy as a new legionnaire. Tell the Prefects to hold position and wait for the choppers."
The men jumped at his words, readying weapons and getting supplies as Alin tried to desperately tell the Wolfwoman about the dangers in the jungle.
Jessa turned to Yaha, and bowed a little, "I am Prime Jessa. Show me where they are, it is likely that they are in danger already."
He hoped his tone was enough to signal the urgency.

Shi nodded a bit and noted the tone, giving a soft smile before trying to converse back with signs. "I will go with you, however, everyone else will probably be airlifted out by one of our transports." shi says, looking at the boat and flicking hir ears once, before looking at the little one on hir shoulder when she whimpered.
"I don't wanna go with the icky air transport!" she says, pouting at hir before resting her head atop of hirs with a soft grumble. "You'll haveta drown me first!"
"Heh... fine fine... you can come too..." shi says, just as the low pitch hum of the gunship was heard, the black craft passing overhead before seeming to continue onward without even noticing them, only the hint of blue flames being seen coming from it's engines, and no heat being noticed from it's engines downdraft, just a small displacement of air.

What?!
Jessa had to quickly order his men at ease as their guns went to the sky from the eerie sound, and shouted orders to tell the Aatuylvan gunships to not pursue..
It had to belong to these outsiders...and they hadn't been unfriendly yet, no need to provoke...
------------------------------------------
Accallia, Stidham's Office
He listened to the radio broadcasts from the science team and the River Patrollers. No. All wrong.
All of them wrong.
Outsiders...it had to be a ship. A ship. They were in a ship, and they crashed...the technology..all of it...they needed that..he needed it.
No good, none of it.
He began writing down several orders to be distributed to that sector's Lord Commander...he had to be quick, Wira and her mob were sure to be closing in on the crash site as soon as the Ryvuuli were....
"Lord Commander Tiam, within your sector there has been an incident concerning a 'meteor impact.' This is not true. Using acquired broadcasts, it is my opinion that this meteor is in fact a craft of some kind, and that several outsiders within it may be alive. You are to quarantine the area, secure the crash site, and detain the forces of Prime, 2nd Class Iaru Jessa, who is collaborating with them. While the young lad may mean well, it is not his place to determine the intentions of any foreign national within Aatuylvan territory.
You are authorized to use any means to secure the site and prevent foreigners from taking it.
-------Lord Commander Stidham "

The commonwealth picked up the X-ray burst. The military moved into action , Air lord Ja was the first to hear.
She was asleep in bed, her mate picked up the phone.
"What does alpha alpha omega mean?" He asked.
Ja shot out of her bed
"It means I have to go." Ja said putting her clothes on.
--- Sea lord Za picked up the phone saying "This had better be good"
The recorded message simply said "Alpha alpha omega"
He was dressing and was heading for the door.
--- Protector Inca muttered as he picked up the phone and got the same message, Tyie looked at the protector of the commonwealth. He turned to her.
"I have to go."
---- The commonwealth had detected what thye thought was an atomic blast, they moved into action. Until they knew it wasn't t they were going to treat it as such.
All of the supreme commanders were heading to the emergency bunker.
Out at sea the commonwealths boomers were ordered to await orders. All seventeen of them awaited orders, their captains were awake now.

Sarue nu launched angles to investigate the blast. They were looking for radiation and evidence of an atomic blast, they hoped not to find it, they flew high and stealthily.

Yaha figured that they at least understood, and turned toward the forest. "It's safe to come out now!" shi announces, following a whistle. With the whistle, the forest began to come alive, the numbers going from four known of, to twenty-seven! "Now if you'll excuse me..." shi reaches into one of hir belts pouches, pulling out what looked like a mechanical bug, throwing it up into the air before the 'FZZZZZZOOM' was heard, a red streak being seen shooting off into the sky before the explosion turned night into day. Liska blinked and turned 180 degrees at the sight of the bugflare, smiling softly and returning to the area, shining down on the boats with a green searchlight, a couple of guidance lasers brushing across the boats and the crews before the craft began to descend carefully to allow everyone that would transit. "Me and the little one here, will go with you, everyone else goes on the gunship" shi adds, signing it out as shi spoke before pointing at the gunship. "Get on it, NOW!" and with that, everyone scrambled toward the craft, the side door opening to show a white interior in contrast to the eerie shadow black of the craft. Within a full minute, everyone was piled in, strapped in, secure and the gunship gone into the skies once again, leaving only a bit of steam from the engines coming close to the water. ----- "I have to say... I am a bit worried about the unknown craft they're launching toward us..." says Alueza, sighing and shaking her head slowly from side to side. "I mean, what happens if we get attacked? For all we know, they could have Hellcats stomping toward us t-" "Oh shush, we don't have anyone here YET!" he says, helping with the repairs to the reactor, only to yelp when the coolant rods deployed, showing that the main reactions were shut down. "...Okay..? That's a good think" he looks at the Engineer who was laughing nervously. "At least I think so" "Well, with the rods deployed, we don't have to worry over reactor overload, so we should still have some minor power production to keep our systems running" says Alison, jumping down from two levels up. landing with a slight thud against the floor, slowly getting to her feet with a soft sigh. "I guess the next repair is going to be our radar systems... least we could do is extend our eyes to see trouble coming..." "Easier said then done..." ----- The area around the downed ship was starting to cool, but the immediate ground was still molten and heated up to the point it literally glowed with the intense heat let off of the ship's hull. Coolant was being pumped out from the ship's emergency systems in an effort to cool down the exterior of the ship, which was working in a slow and agonizing process. The forest and mountain range could probably be seen now from orbit now that the weather had began to clear out, the scar being three miles long, and near the end, a mile and a half wide, where the ship now rested, sideways on it's belly and side. The damage still burning on the lower half of the ship from what looked like a rocket attack against it, as well as potchmarked burns and scars from other various weapon attacks, and one small meteorite stuck in the side of the ship near the aft section of it. The symbol of Unity could be seen, oddly enough, it was untouched by EVERYTHING that had gone on, and was still as clear as day if one could see that close with a telescope or from even flying PASSED it, the only thing obstructing it clearly would be the smoke. Aaturiin
Something was wrong.
As Jessa and his men escorted ‘Yaha’ to the boat, he realized the gunships were hovering far too close for his comfort, and he could see them arguing into their radios.
“Resh, what are they-“
“I don’t know, Prime. They are using encryptors…none of them are Majiin standard.”
“Dammit! And I bet this looks might suspicious to them too…we don’t have much time. As far as I can tell, these people were civvies, but if what I think is happening…we have to move. Now.”
“Aye sir.”
-----------------
Sifus' Sabre, Tetran Railstation
The radio broadcast came far before the written order was even sealed. It was more for record keeping anyway.
The aide had gawked when he came upon the luxurious palace that was the Lady Commander’s personal car on the Sabre. He saw the large panther lounging on a large couch, sharpening her claws. He hesitated, looking at the trinkets, and the gold furnishings, before giving his commander the transcript of the broadcast.
Jozi Tiam’s tail twitched in anticipation…finally, after months of garrison duty and shuffling odious politicians around, she’d see battle.
It was entirely her fault, of course. One doesn’t insult the War Minister to his face without expecting some kind of payback. It was a testament to her ability and popularity that they couldn’t delegate her to River Patrol, or just make her…disappear.
But now, all of that ceased to matter, as she was the closest commander Stidham could, for lack of a better word, trust, it was her job to ensure that the mission was carried out.
“Gooood…. There are helis in route, yes? Tell Mrru…..that I need them for…something special. I have something special in mind for them…”
-----------------
Accallia, Governor’s Office
“You WHAT?!”
He couldn’t believe it. Not only did they go right over his head, but the man who talked to these..Miokalians…was so utterly rude!!
Dunsel was shaking. His blood pressure was bad enough as it is.
“Listen. Listen to me! I…I don’t care how, just..find a way to get them in touch with me. What? On whose authority? MINE!!! I’m the Gov-…….really. Were they, or were they not, foreign officials? They were. My job is what again? That’s right. Dealing with foreign officials. Now you get in contact with them right now, and patch them in to me, before I get the People’s Council to hold a tribunal concerning the spending practices of the Research Division. Oh? Of course I knew about that, everyone sends me their paperwork. Yes, I do happen to have copies. Pleasure talking to you.”
Dunsel leaned back and smiled. He didn’t have copies of the papers in question, nor had he ever seen them. But he knew enough about those types of people…politicians, research heads, commanders…that occasionally there is a paper trail they don’t want anyone to see. And everybody knows that the poor, useless governor will fill out all the forms just to have something to do….
