Also you have no real right for input about what our nations are or are not because you haven't been here... I apologize I don't post dump here, but perhaps if there were more interesting topics instead of needless pissing contests, and 20 page+ mega posts which I don't know how anyone can follow or keep track of, then I'd be able to participate more. Here's the thing about Cal. He actually has an economy and culture worth something. It might be kind of backward, but its still something that KZ does business with and each partner benefits. Simply for the fact that there is something to lose there, I don't worry that his nukes are going to fall on us. And you damn well better believe if he comes under attack, I'll be there backing him up. Same with Miokalia. I don't need to 'ally' with them, because its understood that we need each other. And holmburgers, its not the most hostile region on the planet that bothers me, its the most hostile nations in the region setting up shop there which bothers me. Let me set it straight, that I like the idea. But there needs to be mutual understanding that if something happens there which is generally not in the best interest of everyone, the hammer is gonna fall sof'ingfast.

The hammer has already fallen, many times over. For example: Cali spy aircraft over Holmbergsvania. Megamantics shelling Cal ships. Megamantics attacking Anea. Aluezan pirates attacking shipping in the Strait of Forr, and last but not least, Aatuylva needing more trains.

Dude, if we ever attack Cal, it's going to be cuz he started it (as I have said, many times, in the irc, and in pms, and in the charter which is in one of the threads here and on the wiki when I put it up) Otherwise Aatuylva would degenerate into a chaotic civil war because the charter of the Confederacy would have been negated (*Has extensive write-ups for various ways of how someone could cause Aatuylva to collapse* All you have to do is pm me for the info, and we can set up threads ) And I would worry, since he doesn't have any manned/'furred', to use your terminology, space programs, so that would mean in order to repair and push them back up into LEO, his 'uber secret nukes' are repaired by you guys Also I think Holm was talking about the weather when he said 'hostile'. Anyways, back on topic, antarctica research bases and culture clashes ahoy! I'll be posting a sign-up sheet tomorrow, so we all know how many peeps we have (In my case, no more than six Aatuylvans would be down there at a time, and two of them just drive the others around )

Us? Hostile? Military centered =/= instantly hostile. If you would, and I'm sure you won't, please go through the posts and find ONE time - other than Emperor Welhan in Arrival and IX with the Cal trade thing - where the Empire threatened a war. Now compare that to how many times the Cali have threatened war over trivial matters. But alas, I don't want to focus solely on them. To be honest, you seem to be stereotyping the more right wing countries as psychotic, warmongering, and belligerent. If you took the time to MEET the people of the Empire (and meet doesn't mean sending half naked "diplomats"), you MIGHT see that they're not so different from everyone else. (On that thought, we probably should have a one on one diplomacy thread.) I can't speak for Aatuylva, but I will admit we're just arrogant. Anyway, back on topic. I was kidding about military for the most part. Of course there'd be guards for the scientists, but little more than that. I think there would be... 5-7 scientists and 1-3 soldiers.

The scientist lacking vacations and good research topics have… persuaded us to send a team in supplement to the current expedition and thus would like permission for the SRVV to join &/or aid in this expedition. (also we're committed to lending Zeppelin airships to said expedition and are loaning to anyone with the coin to fly over sporting events and such… for the right price)
