General IX
"Very well, do what you must."
Better make it quick so I can get this over with.

Tod perked a brow when he heard something in his head, shaking it a few times before looking about to see if someone was trying to get his attention. "Ookay..?" he perked a brow again before looking at Alison. "Alison, mind bringing a few soldiers over to keep an eye on the crowds? I just got an anonymous tip from someone that there could be trouble"
Alison nodded and smiled softly before calling in a few extra guards, which stood at the back of the crowds and kept an eye on things, already getting a description of people to look for from earlier. "People be aware of strangers among us... keep your children close and watch one-another, but don't forget to have a good time!"

The two Ai'lupans went over IX with a fine tooth comb, so to speak, taking his daggar and warhammer, looking over them for hidden caches, ballistic contraptions, even so much as a spring or extender. While they could not force IX to disrobe further than he already was due to the rules, they did however force him through a rigorous 'pat down' that would make even the most intrusive TSA agent blush, even going so far as to press down on his boots to make sure there weren't any blades hidden in them, and, at the 'insistence' of the others of the circle, they 'convinced' IX to open his mouth so they could inspect for poisons or hidden darts. After about twenty minutes of inspection, seemingly satisfied, the two backed away from him, nodding, before approaching the second fighter to enter the circle...
Tiam stood, outfitted in battle fatigues, sans jacket. At her belt was a very wicked looking black knife that curved inward, and in her claws was a battleaxe that she held in one hand. Her pants were not loose, but the inspectors did not spend half the time or effort on her or her weapons as they did IX's. The barely concealed grin on her face did little to hide who was behind it.
"I hope you are ready Spaceman. I'm not going to make this easy."
The two inspectors left the circle as all the Ai'lupans started to howl. Tiam stepped forward, drawing the blade at her belt, testing the balance as she twirled the axe once.

Rick dragged himself onto the river bank, panting.
Damn, looks like she won...
He pulled himself standing using a nearby tree, laughing.
"Well, figures that the Gods would smile on you, young lady, more than they would me...I suppose that means I owe you dinner, hmm?"
He stops, looking over towards the bonfires. A duel is on tonight. A big one. But that didn't hold his eyes for long, as the Naria field the Aluezi set up was in the way.
"My my...what is this?"

"This is one of our sports, good sir" she says as she dropped to all fours and shook herself dry like a common animal, standing back up afterward before smiling softly as the match had just begun. Bases were already being built near the water cities and civilian docks commandeered to build warships.
"This should be fun..." she grins wide and sits down on the ground, watching the field curiously. "Looks like Tisra has the advantage here... big army, multiple bases under construction, towns being captured..."

"Hmph...well, I can't keep up with all of it. Everything moves too fast. Wargaming simulation from what I gather? Yes?"
He watched it for a few minutes, his nose scrunching up a bit.
"Hmph. If one must play at war, it should at least be with real people..."
He grabbed his cloak from the branch where he had left it, and sat down next to Liska, his tail casually flopping to the side.
"So what do you get if you win?"
Corzi's leg itched. It was infuriating. It wasn't his good leg, no, it was an itching where his other foot was, and every few minutes he would absentmindedly go to scratch it with his make-shift crutch, only to hit the leg of the chair he was sitting in.
Looking to keep his mind off of it, he spoke up, "So, how exactly do the...'projectors' work?"

"They create a psuedo dimension which creates a near-real environment within the battlefield, so if I do this..." she picks up a rock and throws it into the battlefield, making it to where it came crashing down like a meteor. Which of course, hit a patch of forest and caused at least 2 miles of the area to become a crater. "There was a meteor strike... which we try to avoid having too much of as it distrupts playing"
Liska smiled and pointed at the silver case. "Seems tonight it's either money or dinner... or both." she shrugged and scooted a bit closer to him, resting her head gently against his shoulder with a soft, happy sigh. "The fighting should start soon... though I do wonder who'll attack first"
The bases and buildings completed and within two minutes, both sides already had a navy and an army preparing to charge across the water to attack the city on the other side.
"Eat this!" shouts Tod before several rockets were launched from different points in his city, flying toward the enemy fleet and managing to sink a few ships, of course, most that were hit were civilian ships. "...well that was a waste of a rocket barrage" he thinks, hoping his rockets rearmed faster than he expected as he knew that Tisra was going to be on them now.
Tisra grinned wide and chuckled darkly as she ordered her navy to start moving slowly toward the enemy, of course, returning the favor to the boys with extra accuracy, managing to obliterate Tod's navy and damage a few ships in Li's navy. "Better run boys... you've done lost!"

General IX
Ready as I'll ever be I suppose...
I held my warhammer and then flipped it to the bladed side. Provided I can get a proper hit in, that should end this rather quickly. Without my armor, I feel a lot lighter and therefore a lot faster. That should give me an advantage over her.
I ran at her and, with the little strength I could manage at this distance, swung while aiming for the chest. Hopefully it connects.

"Sounds...very complicated. What would happen if wildlife got into it, I wonder? Would it be like old monster movies we get from the outside?"
He shook his head, trying not to scratch the phantom itch again. He hoped the surgeons got here soon with the prosthetic...although, he was lucky that the only blood loss from it came from scratches he got from walking through the jungle on it...the weapon that severed it cauterized the wound quite beautifully.
"So, would a bird passing over head and leaving droppings be a bomb impact as well? Or a casual sneeze turns into a hurricane blast?"
--------------------------------------------
"Hmm...interesting way to settle disputes...for my people, we go at each other with knives, like that area over there." He nods towards the bonfire circle.
"Marriage, promotion, slights of honor, fun..they find ways to fight about everything. It's kind of sad when you think about it...she's good at this, methinks."
--------------------------------------------
"Grah!"
She jumped back, falling backwards as she deflected the blow, but barely, using the handle of her axe. She kicked out with her feet, aiming at IX's belly while she reached for the wraithknife at her belt.
She dare not use the flashballs she has on her belt, not yet, nor the holdout daggars..those would come later. She just hoped that she could buy enough time to use her reach advantage and knock his weapon out of his hands.

Alison nodded a bit before smirking a bit. "In unmanaged issues, like this, yes, but usually we'd have a dome over us to make sure things like that don't happen." she says just as the navies met one-another, and began to exchange fire. The sounds of the cannons thundering out loud for such small guns.
The two navies began to bombard one-another as the Nutzi's started to approach, several ships taking hits from the broadsides but showing no signs of slowing their approach as they took losses here and there.
"You may sink a few corvettes, but you will lose!" shouts Tisra as her Navy turned their broadsides slowly toward the enemy, returning fire with rockets and shells as they turned.
Liska nodded and smiled softky at him, chuckling a bit before covering her ears at the loud booms, letting them adjust to the racket coming from the ships before wagging her tail happily. "GOOO SAVINA! SHOW THOSE NUTZIS HOW IT'S DONE!" she cheers, waving a few times toward the Savina players.

I flipped the hammer to the blunt side. I then went at her again and tried to bring the hammer down on her to end this quickly.

Tiam rolled to her feet, the hammer striking her hard in the shoulder. Her axe fell to the ground.
Can't...
She jumped forward, knocking into IX as she grabbed one of the flashballs at her belt.
One good hit in the eyes and he'll be blind...

General IX
As I fell, I aimed, sort of, at her with my arm and fired the railgun thing. Hopefully it hits. Otherwise, I'm probably about to get hurt.
