My Involuntary Absence (and the reasons why)

Good afternoon:

For those who have noticed I haven't been posting lately (and for those who now know I haven't) I apologize and would like to explain why.

Though I'm all right and my vehicle is mostly all right, I had an auto accident recently (ice, ditch, etc.) and have had to sort through a tangle of things involving insurance, dealer, roadside assistance, towing, damages, and such. I'll make it through this, never fear, and be back to my usual aggravating self before long

Wow, I'm glad you're okay. Best of luck in getting your life back in order. I my self was in a car accident back in January but as a passanger in a friends car. We both made it out okay, but when my friend has the money for the initial filling fees and such there's going to be a court date against the other driver.

Fortunately I'm in nowhere near that amount of difficulty. I hope your friend will be all right both financially and otherwise!

Luckily for me the damage to my vehicle was caused by the tow truck, not by my thankfully light impact in a snow-filled ditch. Upon my filing claim the garage covered the repair costs to my vehicle.

I should be back and active ICly any time now: lots happening iRL is all.

I understand the whole life getting busy thing with random crazyness. But welcome back and hopefully shortly I'll be getting more active again myself. But I believe a vote is finishing up so I'll work that presently.
