"Oh I'm sure, we won't even leave the ground all that much!" she smiled and climbed into the driver's seat, turning the key before the engine roared to life, before silencing to a pleasant, low pitch purr. "Ready to go!" she smiled and looked over at him, giving a grin before pressing the button to close the doors and lock them.
She pressed the gas and smiled as she turned her attention to the road, the vehicle moving without a sound at all, getting up to about 35 MPH as it floated along the street. "So, tell me about yourself?" she asks, even her voice being deceiving now as she sounded like she was maybe 15-16. "If you want to talk that is"

Al smiled and nodded, he wasn't military and was a little put aback by the military welcome, he was to understand this was to be a civilian thing. Then again allot of the governments up this part of the world seemed worrying close to their military.
All of the commonwealth party were from the civilian government, as the commonwealth thought that was who the Aluezen government wanted to talk to. Al didn't much like having to deal with the military and really didn't like not seeing the faces of those that would escort them.
He exited the plane followed by three others, all but one were in suits of one kind or another. The last was a graying female leefin traditional sari like dress.
Al smiled "As you wish, but I am not an ambassador, I'm a politician, the foreign secretary. I am Al, this is Nae Qunitie an" he indicated a common vulpine in a suit.
He continued "my permanent private secretary, Lu", he indicated a teerie in a skirt suit
continuing "my personal secretary and Lady Cinie from the diplomatic corp."
He indicated the leefin who smiled "I am not a noble, it just is after being in service of your nation for some time you are given title for your life.
I would feel more at ease if you would perhaps show your face? I believe it is your custom not to but we are unarmed and are not your enemy. It would ease the atmosphere if perhaps we knew our escort a little?"
Al interrupted "Our bags are not lined so you should be able to scan them for weapons or other items. We ask that you do not search them by hand as I doubt you would have reason to and there are some proposals we carry that are of high security."
Cinie smiled "Last time I checked words rarely alone are weapons, only the actions they cause. The diplomatic courier will stay with her plane, feel free to scan it you will be disappointed as other than a few flares, chaff dispensers and slightly improved engines it is a commercially available air craft.
If you wish on board please just ask her, but as a diplomatic flight it is strictly speaking commonwealth territory. But I doubt there will be an issue should you find something of concern."
Al smiled "Well she will be rather pissed off if something is there that shouldn't be...her kind get kinda possessive of there planes."
Then shurgged "But anyway I have wasted enough of your time, we had best be going."

I apologize for not responding sooner. I will be on my way to your country. Gets me away from the routine I have established due to the war in Andromeda. In addition, I do want to maintain the friendship we have enjoyed for the last decade.
Sincerely,
Vincenzo Soldavini Supreme Commander of the Anean Armed Forces

“Asking a Minister to show his, her, or hir face is a request we cannot abide by” says a middle-aged voice from the back of the group, a Fennec in a black uniform and long coat stepping forward, a scouter over his left eye and several scars being visible on his face. “Though I am here to greet you” he bows out of respect to them before smiling and straightening up.
He was about 40 years old from the looks of it, and had several merits from across the globe, including Aluez, and at his side, was a child, about 12 years old. “So these are the infamous Cali I have heard so much about…” he chuckles before holding out his hand, pulling what looked like a laser pointer with a small LCD screen on it with his free hand. “If you’d be so kind as to surrender your luggage?”
The guards remained motionless, red eyes gleaming toward the outsiders without any indication of emotion, nothing but the eyes of a soulless machine peering at them… but behind these eyes they knew very well that a person was behind it.
To: SCAAF Soldavini From: The Aluezi Council of Leadership
We are happy to have you, just be sure to warn ahead of time when you come, we are currently under severe lockdown due to a recent terrorist threat, and now we are getting reports of a firefight in the north end of town.
Sincerely,
Lafi Du'Biske and the Council

Very well, I shall be arriving within a few hours with a pair of Imperial Guards. The Emperor left his hypersonic plane behind, so I shall enjoy it. I also hope you have no problems with myself carrying a weapon. I will until arrival. If it's necessary to turn it over, I will.

We don't mind weapons, as long as they are concealed, and not overkill. Weapons are meant for personal defense, not for diplomacy, and if someone shows up with an assault rifle, they will be forced to surrender said weapon. We apologize if this is a burden on any unknown traditions for your people.

Doran's ears twitched a bit.
"You..didn't say it was roadable..."
He looked out the window, wondering briefly who would be at the meeting...
The Aneans, surely, possibly the allies in the north...
"Hm? Oh..er..I'm afraid I'm not all that interesting. I'm just a low-rate Arbitor, after all."

No, not a problem. I can keep any weapon of mine concealed. I figure that, most likely, the Cali would be there. I don't trust them. That's the only reason I'd bring a weapon.
So I should be arriving in a couple hours.

Cinie nodded "Sorry I did not understand such is tradition here. Please do not take offence at my personal request."
Al chuckled "Infamous, that's an improvement on what we're usually called in this part of the planet."
"Anyway the bags, were our main luggage in in the hold. I dare say that can be checked when it's unloaded. I now there are no weapons in those bags. I am not sure what's in the survival packs that the plane carries, but those are sealed. If you ask the courier, I'm sure she will allow you to add your own seal to warn you if one is breached.
They are there in case we come down somewhere unpleasant, they are in the cabin, rather than the hold and will be going no where anyway..so it's kinda moot what is in them." he continued.
Qunitie looked at Al and said "With all due respect shut up. They will figure out all that stuff them selves. Right to our hand luggage, in mine other than papers you will find two teerie blades that are gifts from Aye Salato en to your head of government, an first run copy of the first book of the ashien canonicals from duke leck to your head of state. Her ladyship doesn't have any hand luggage, Lu has a few bottles of inteerie whiskey for use as gifts for officials that we missed.
Well that and a few tablets/laptops.
As for Al, I have no idea what the in the goddesses name he is carrying in his official case."
Al glared at Qunitie "Look just let them scan the stuff."
Qunitie shrugged "It makes sense to tell them what to expect, they have guns, call me odd but I really don't want to surprise people that have guns."
The bags were duly surrendered.
--- OOC: Al's official case contains a half empty bottle of inteerie whisky, an apple, a copy of a farming mag, a packet of clean-ex, four packs of condoms and something that has gone mouldy in a plastic bag (might have been a sandwich once in a hidden compartment (well enough hidden that Al forgot it was there)). Have fun with the oddness, it's meant to be a full of official stuff..

“Blades you say… quite odd traditions you people have, as for the faceless soldiers, it’s a law, not a tradition…” he chuckles and begins to scan over the bags, the light turning red when it found the mold. “Hmm… one moment…” he pulls out his blaster and connects a wire to the scanner, before watching the mold burn away and disappear into vapor, the bag now smelling of whatever the sandwich was made out of. “You had mold in your bag, very odd, but it’s been taken care of” he handed them back their bags before holstering his blaster and turning to walk off. “Come along Jackie, time for us to go” he smiled and motioned for them to follow, giving a grin toward them
The guards looked at one-another before speaking in Arabi, seeming to be talking about a game of Naria, a couple of them trading golden cards before following the good general into the lobby of the skyport.
"*Papa? Howcome they are so scared of us?*" asked Jackie, looking back at the Cali
"*Because they're guilty of something Jackie...*" he whispered to the child, looking down at him with a smile. "*They won't hurt us... from what I heard, they are laughable in military, but,*" he kneeled down and picked up the child. "*A kiddo like you shouldn't worry bout foreigners... just let papa do that*"
OOC: Jackie and Alexander are speaking in Arabi, so I doubt they'll understand

Al shrugged "Fair nuff" and he and the rest followed.
Lu asked in an odd teerie dialect (if the teerie language was not off enough) that was non-translatable "Why the boot licking?"
Al smiled replying in the same strange tong "Showing strength up here hasn't worked, so perhaps we should try another tack"
Lu looked unconvinced.
Al shrugged replying in the same tong "What we did was just show manners, if they think that is weakness then this macho-ism that our royal show seem not to be unique to them.
We are civilians making a diplomatic mission unarmed, Qunitie is behaving like a civil servant. I doubt he would know how to use a gun."
Lu smiled replying again in the dialect "No one up here really knows what the fleet can do if we take there gloves off."
Al shrugged "Lets hope it doesn't come to it." in calie.
Cinie smiled "What is the child's name? I have a grandchildren of her age now. If you do not mind me asking?"
From cinie's kindly look you could tell that she wasn't lying.

“Oh yes, we have all sorts of neat vehicles here” she smiles before stopping at a red light, a convoy of tanks and heavy warthogs passing in front of them with police escort. “Really? Well… I like you at least, you seem like a nice guy” she giggles before looking over at him with a happy smile, the light turning green and the vehicle jetting forward again, this time getting up to 45 MPH.
Alexander looked back at Cinie with a perked brow, his gold fur standing up on end slightly before he forced a smile toward them. “He’s Jackie, my newest son, he’s quite the little rascal” he rubbed the boy’s head before chuckling and climbing into the limo, the guards getting into their sedans in front and behind the limo. “I take it you have children as well, miss?” he left the end open for her name if she was smart enough to give it.

The AIJ-5000 landed after a short flight from the colony.
Within, Soldavini was just finishing polishing a sword which he was giving as a gift to someone. It's an old Federation sword from the Third Federation War. Carried by most officers, but most are buried with the person when the owner dies. This one was going to be given to a general, but it was never officially given.
Not one to wear something different, he's wearing his old Federation greatcoat, of course with the Fed. flag on it and the 6 stars denoting his rank of Supreme Commander on the shoulder.
He put his desert eagle - formerly IX's before he left for the War - in his shoulder holster. He picked up the sword and then headed off the plane.

The person waiting for Soldavini was a bit surprising as far as appearences went, shi was a three star general, surrounded by eight guards, and had a bouquet of blue roses ready for the great general. “Welcome to Aluez, General!” shi said cheerfully, walking forward and presenting the bouquet out to him with a bow.
As Al approached the car, an orange blur came rushing up to the group, holding out both hands to them. “Can one of you spare a credit? My daddy needs it for his cab fare” said the child, being a Foxtaur of about 8 years old.
Alexander would normally chase such an interloper away, but kept quiet and watched what the Cali would do with the child.

Flowers are rather unusual as a greeting to Soldavini. Especially from a military officer. Still he accepted it though with a little hesitation.
"Thank you." He said. "I find it funny that I have been on Earth 9 years, and yet I have never actually been here. I must admit, flowers are unusual as a gift. Particularly for me. Last time I arrived somewhere, I was greeted with gunfire and rockets."
