Technological Advantage: Subliminal messaging network (via tele screen network and speaker tower system) And subterranean warfare systems specifically advanced TBM units.
Technological disadvantage: population doesn't agree well with foreigners, The larger tunnelers are extremely slow.
Internet access: extremely limited (dependent upon intra-net)
Dominate Transportation Method: mainly mass transit, cars and trucks are for allotted use only.

-Style-
I'm into the sort of RPing that involves ordinary blokes from countries like mine, especially instances involving culture clash, even though it ends up awkward sometimes, I also enjoy the occasional massive scale invasion or defense situations involving tactics and strategy, and just generally I don't mind any sort of RP as long as people are civilized. (If you're a barbarian I'm sorry but I don't want to talk)

-History-
Victor V was Officially founded by Baron Otto Von Clark the dirigible explorer, in his search of precious natural resources to export to his home nation of kom pok so, however Clark crashed due to mechanical difficulties. He and his crew were forced to establish a beachhead until further re-con dirigibles would begin to search for them. Eventually the half crazed crew established more permanent accommodations inside of a mountain. That first mountain is the mountain Podzemnye Tsitadelisits on today. In the sense of the word Victor V Is a relatively new nation being around for about 90 cycles. (in years around 45 yrs. Old)
The majority of the civilization lives for the most part underground (the dictatorship in control live the closest to the bottom and the lower the class the higher up in the surface you are, military being at the tip of the society at the top.) IE the top of the capital city at the top is a large military instillation.

-Relations to other nations-
Victor V can be described as a hermit nation because the of a mutual distrust and paranoia of it's neighbors. (that being the reason why it has avoided most surface dwellers until recently) (also because of the underground tendencies of our society) . However it is friendly to most other dictatorships.

No that's how big we are, you see thought above ground we only have a city of a few thousand, we go down about 3 or so miles and branch out from there into a couple hundred burroughs and then many miles of tunnels.

Just a note if I took NS numbers I would be 10+ billion..actually the four nation in the south east are all over 10 billion in NS numbers. Trying to play to NS numbers gets silly fast.

Ok a few questions.

You count livestock as part of the population, does that mean your livestock are people too? Also, how do you solve the problem of feeding people/livestock? Is there an agrarian region near your mountain of doom that you nominally control and farm like crazy to feed your half billion? If you counting livestock and they're not intelligent, what is the population of your intelligent persons? What is a TBM? When you say 'population doesn't agree well with foreigners' is that to mean that you are 'Slow to adopt foreign technology'? Where is/was kom pok so and does it still exist? (if you don't want to have an otherwise inactive NPC nation you could say it got taken over/absorbed by someone else) You say the ability to strike from below in your military advantages, I'm guessing that's limited to where you can tunnel too? (very Arachnid from Starship Troopers there :-p ) So unless an enemy force is entering your tunnel network zone, they're unlikely to face this advantage of yours, but if they are they'd be pretty much screwed.

No our livestock are not counted as people, our people are considered living stock, as for food most food resources are harvested are usually potatos, carrots, some fungi varieties, & the remaining food comes from living creatures like harvested rodents, as well as imports from the surface and more recently other nations (in a discreet incognito manner)

A TBM is a tunnel borrowing machine, and our scientist have perfected the art and science of industrial tunnel blazing, and have successfully allowed us to hollow out this undergloom that has become our home.

As for our distrust of outsiders is partially because we don't like surface dwellers to much, partially because we've adapted to the point that we've adapted to seeing underground far too long rendering virtually blind above ground.

Kom pok so is a still active nation I had run along awhile ago but due to corruption and religious pressure many separatist and revolutionaries left home after hearing of this oppressionless undergound city, they were the first settlers however ironically are now oppressed by an omnipresent authoritarian government.

Lastly yes we have a enormous tunneling ability however we lack range from sheer time it takes to tunnel but in rare instances a mobile rig can launch a sneak attack from the surface, however these machines are massive and cumbersome, and take damage easily however if given enough time can level cities otherwise as a side effect of tunneling sinkholes appear often around our lands but non are intentional or militarily generated.

Hi. I have some ideas that may help you flesh out your nation a little more.

One: No matter how good you are at underground farming and all those root plants, you are not going to produce enough to feed your people, even if you have a large amount of goat farms and greenhouses aboveground (And you're too far north methinks to actually have good above ground farms without the greenhouses anyway). Therefore, your nation can't be isolated as it would rely massively on imports. Therefore, while you could still play a xenophobic nation, it would, yaknow, actually be able to roleplay by setting up trade deals that it needs. Exports you could give in exchange for said food would be obvious, metals, equipment made from your industry, or, if you're lucky and have an underground river or volcanic activity, electricity from hydro-electric plants/geothermal power.

Two: Try and talk to some people here, I would suggest the south, since most of those nations had and still have large trading empires, so that you can expand upon your history a bit more. A good idea is to either come up with a timeline of important events, or try and summarize everything from founding to present day with as much details as you can get away with. Two or three paragraphs of history is usually a really good start :3

Three: Distrust of foreigners isn't descriptive enough for a tech-disadvantage. The being blind above-ground is more of a military disadvantage thing, so, in order to keep to the spirit of your nation, a good tech-advantage would probably be a paranoia of all foreign technologies, preventing their widespread use until after several years of testing by the government, or something, idk.
