Cultures vary from city to city, with each one taking on the desired ideal and form of their mistress. As such one may be locked in the 1950’s America while another right next door could in a perpetual Victorian Era.

Military strengths (list 3):
Infested forces all operate under one guiding mind, as such they all share sensory information and can act as though they were one being.
As individuals are infested they are added to the Protocoal, expanding its army and numbers.
Due to adaptive genetic and chemical manipulation Sefimrr can manipulate infested to suit the situation or breed new and interesting creatures to serve her.
Military weaknesses (list 3):
Psychic breakages due to Sefimrr’s weakened state can lead to infested going to berserk and attacking any and all living creatures, including her own.
Due to her amnesiac state, the protocoal is having to rediscover he abilities over time and may never fully recover the full strength she used to wield.
Inorganic equipment is rarely if ever used, as such there is a profound weakness against fast aerial craft such as jet fighters.

Technological advantage:
Psychic manipulation of telepathically receptive chemicals allows that active and realtime manipulation of flesh and genome in those effected, thus allowing infestation and profound alteration of those affected in record time.
Technological disadvantage:
The protocoal is based off of organic manipulation and control, and as such does not use typical technology to any great degree.
Internet access: Poor

I am willing to RP just about anything, but I cannot be asked to get into technical details about tech and whatnot. Honestly, I prefer character RPs and using wars and such as a backdrop.

This particular Protocoal was created some 1-5 million years ago by the Coalescence as it rampaged across the galaxy devouring life and ensuring survival of the fittest. She was drawn from a war-like race of humanoids looking similar to what humans may call demons, the last of her kind as the rest were infested and absorbed. Given the option of infestation or being uplifted to a superior state of mind and body she chose the latter. Upon being uplifted and shown the reality of her position, she took her place as the Coalescence’s lieutenant.
She would become known as Celeste by her fellow protocoals. Her name became synonymous with torment, mindless suffering, and the outlet of all the Coalescence’s senseless rage and hate. She carved bloody and oft times needless paths through worlds. Trillions were kept forever within mobile torture pits that travelled from world to world, ever adding to her maleficent collection. This of course added to her madness, Celeste feeling all their pain and torment as though she were the one being torn apart over and over again. In the end she was just as violently insane as any other protocoal, just a little more sadistic and masochistic.
This all had to come to an end though, the Coalescence readying for its long slumber after stripping so many worlds bare. It send globules of its flesh away to return what it had taken, and called all the protocoals to join it. All responded, save one. Celeste had grown too mad, too frothingly insane and self serving, and refused to leave the dimension of all flesh to join her surrogate father in his rest. Instead she wandered that dimension of endless flesh, blood, and bone. She quickly became lost and confused, slowly but surely losing her connection to the Coalescence as it fell into hibernation. Even her own thralls soon began to break away, the very walls of the reality she lived in denying her such control over others and slowly stripping her of power as she became just another mortal.
Shrieking and screaming against this fate she sought to leave the dimension of all flesh. Yet it took all her remaining strength to scratch a hole through the dimensions, and after millions of years without practice it stripped from her the very source of her being as fuel. Blindly clawing away, Celeste eventually tore through, travelling blindly as she travelled in her fleshy transport. Yet this was no longer Celeste, for she had been erased as she tore the rip between dimensions and parted ways with the home of all flesh. Now she was a blank slate acting purely on instinct and careening through space aboard what amounted to a living sac of flesh.
This is where her story begins anew upon a foreign and strange land, one where the Coalescence holds no sway and her mind a blank slate for painting upon. Her abilities hidden away in the recesses of her mind, she arrives upon the world in her original form.

Organic material is commonly used instead of stone or metal, meaning that some buildings and in fact entire cities and even ecosystems may literally be a single living breathing organism.
The nation is run by Sefimrr, and she is psychically linked to all the infested. She literally hears all their thoughts and feelings, and as such runs a form of police state where thought crimes can result in fates worse than death depending on her whims.
Sefimrr is often taken by odd moods and may devote her attention to creating caricatures of passed eras and events of societies from entertainment. As such there is an incredible amount of variety within the quarantined zone.
