Bit of fun:
Just how different are your political views from your nation's?
Well best I start.
I am a nationalist and a republican..see the flaw when it comes to the commonwealth. I want to brake a union and remove the monarch.
Will post other thing that make the commonwealth politics and mine very different.
Well I'm kinda an anarchist.

OOC : Pretty sure it's our Nation here, on Furfed... the one we used in RPs...
The Hive... as best as I can describe it... is something close to an : Authoritarian Socialist Democracy, governed (for a long period of time) by a group of 5 People chosen by the people of the Hive...
...for this to work... People have to remember that the people from the Hive are a collective consciousness...
Not real telepathes (the kind most people might think), since the standard telepath can read ''others'' minds and them, they can't do that (indirectly among themselves)... It's closer to an Empathic telepathic link, if people prefer this example...

This is indeed all out of character speak here. The question posed is how your personal politics differ or are the same as those in your nation. Obviously Nova, unless you have something to share with us, you are not part of an empathic super mind that rules Canada.
As for me, I guess the best way to explain it is that Tinis is a thought experiment of sorts for me. A place to put ideas on how a utopian-ish society could be run. But in the real world, I am very much a practical person. So I know that some of my more super democratic-socialist ideas that I put into Tinis are very unlikely to be put into practice by anybody during my life time, so I look for more practical solutions to the world's problems.
Also, I'm not speciesist like Lenord secretly is. :-p

The share with us bit was a joke. If you were empathic/psychic and involved in running Canada it would be unexpected to say the least. It was an opening for you to share such an unexpected thing with us in the event that this near impossibility was true.
As for the question:
Your OOC views, how are they different from the In Character politics of your nation? is another way to phrase it. Someone could be a total anarchist in the real world but run a fascist state here, or the reverse. Sometimes people play things very different from their own view of things to help themselves understand better different points of view.

It's pretty funny, you see... Since I created my Nation, its political system, and everything surrounding it... From things I knew, and things I like and/or ''believe'' in...
So, the Authoritarian Socialist Democracy politic.... is kinda both at the same time, my OOC and IC point of view for my Nation... and for how I would see/appreciate a good/semi-perfect political system...
But it's pretty much an Utopic system, since the only way it could really work would be... you say it... To be people that are ''telepath empathic'' (or connected simultaneously, by some means, together), which is why I said this, about my Nation, earlier... (though there was less details at that time)
I hope things sounded right... with the translation and all that...

My nation and it's views are kind of similar. The difference being, I would not take such a... 'Comical' aproach to being a political leader. I mean "Comrade Supreme Leader and Commander DRL". Obviously long, and meant to stroke the ego of the bearer. On the other hand, my nation is kind of what Nova said: What I like/ like to 'believe in'. I do think that a Socialist Autocracy would work. However an Aritifical island, populated mainly of Robots and Anthros... Man I love Sci-fi.  <The genre, not the TV channel. The channel is ok, thought.> |

Let's check... Crazy? Yup. Guns guns everywhere? Yup. Civil rights being very important, and it being legal to shoot a gov't official if he's being a dumbass? Yup. Extremely libertarian save for a few choice businesses that help manage some things (monopolies can be a tad inevitable, like cockroaches or humans inventing firearms on a given planet.) Yup  Doesn't really know what it wants, but tries it's damnedest to be the BEST at whatever non-descript thing it is? My nation beats me there >.> But the first half of it, yes And yes, the extreme patriotism is listed under crazy |

The way I run and model Killer Zoids is my vision of the type of country I see as being a place I would choose to live in. Free and open electoral and legislative process Civil rights second to none Healthy environment Low-to-mild dependence on imports Overall happiness of the denizens within Government controlled major industries (energy, telecom, agriculture, transit et. al.) to prevent people from being taken advantage of price-wise Incredible health care and education system People dress in sexy clothing because its accepted as norm!! (who needs clothes when you're covered in fur?) Powerhouse economy and population The only things that I don't like, is Killer Zoids has a tax problem, which is being treated, but is going to take years. I had a puppet nation a long time ago, called the Oppressed Peoples of Billy Gates --> Flag which was the complete opposite of Killer Zoids. That was kind of fun. To make the issue decisions completely opposite of what KZ would choose. Resulted in a very small, scary nation |

Centraliza is an spiced-up, lolololed, high-tech version of what I would do in real-life if I was a regent of sorts.
*Agricultural Reform.
*Private Ownership Limitations.
*No discrimination.
*Few people in the 'low' class, or none.
*Mixed-to-Regulated Market.
*State & Private Research.
And some other stuff, but it is too much too write in small points...
