Nations expelled from the Federation...

Hello,

I looked over at the 'administration' section in the 'Furry Federation' panel in NationStates.

I noticed that they were not many, but they were still, banned.

Here is my suggestion: I think it would be cool to know 'why' these nations were banned. That way we (at least I) could avoid making mistakes already made by others.

If I recall pretty much all of them for spamming, one left (dunno if they were kicked) due to trying to play the invincible god nation. You know putting up space weapons that were impossible to stop and generally being an ass.

Rule one of rping, take losses if you go to war, otherwise it just gets dull.

Those 5 nations were banned because they were NationStates based invader nations. Unless you're planning to troll/grief the federation I'm not going to ban you on NationStates.

Of course, additionally, no matter how 'effective' a defense is, there is allways at least 1 way through it.

Sorry to be a dummy, but what is
a invader nation? It attacks other
nations and conquers them?

An invader nation would be part of a group which joins a region and then endorses or gets endorsed by another member of the group, so that one of these nations gets more endorsements than the current leader of that region, and so takes control of the region and would ban all other members. There probably are many regions which do this as another dimension of role-playing, but this is a kind of special interests region, so we want to keep it that way.

DON'T head into war in a careless and meaningless way, there is such a thing as Mutually Assured Destruction and that is a powerful deterrent to escalation regardless of the technology involved.

In general, the best war RPs are usually against a non-player entity (which may be filled-in by another player for added intrigue and playability, for example: The Rift thread where the Pudrians are being filled-in by Aatuylva's player)

Any ''un-authorized'' region invaders... Yes.

Since the Aneans are planning to ''invade'' a Nation (a dead Nation) in a future RP... from what I have heard between the branches ; This explains why my face is so scratched...

But still... ''Invasions'' are something really hard to do, since it implies many things that :

1) The invaded Nation
2) The invading Nation
3) The administrator

...must agree on, before anything starts...

Any speak of 'invasions' above meant Nationstates.
As in people trying to hijack our region in a nonRP very bad way.
I thought you knew this.
RP War =/= NationStates Invaders.
