Idea for a new thread

I've been tossing around an idea for a thread after The Rift.

One idea that I came up with recently was a tour of sorts on Haroma III. It would give people to learn about my people's history while also providing a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit another planet. Transportation, obviously, is provided and there would always be open communications back home. Since it would be after The Rift, the people invited would be heads of state and government as well as commanders and distinguished soldiers from the war.

Anyway, I would just like some feedback on the idea. Like things that could be fixed and ways to make it work.

I very much like this idea. A while back a couple of us had threads sort of like that where people would visit each others nations and experience some of the sights and culture. I was actually hoping to do that again when I got back from my current research trip.

I did realize too that after The Rift, IX would become President, so his inauguration would also be in there. A decent addition to the thread I think.

Seems like a good probability...

Just need to invest more time into ''The Rift'' RP... and it would be ok after that.

...and I guess we could end The Rift RP, a bit quicker with this ''motivation'' ?

(We are about at the Mid-point for this RP, the other half is US fending through the Enemy lines, with maybe a special ending from my part... I guess I could speed this by skipping the wait time for Miokalia posts ?)
