Salinas sat at his office, picking up the phone again after receiving clearance from the House.
"Hello Representative. How are things?" the wolf said casually, as if it was a normal day we're he wouldn't be deciding along with many others whether the planet will live or die.
"Much Better, Xan. Our skies are clear. Do whatever you can to clear as many more of them as possible."
"Right away Sir."
Salinas set down the phone, his plan already finished in his head. He had no war room, or rather no use for it. He had no maps, no figures, no numbers; All he needed now was to make a few more calls.
-=-=-=-=-
Within a few minutes, a steady wave of conventional missiles we're launched, each detonating a few meters from their target satellites. Though individually they were useless, continued applied force to the outer parts of the grid steady began to push them off course.
As more missiles fired, a pattern emerged; They were pushing out satellites in a line form Naraemat to Ixnill. A war-path was being built.
-=-=-=-=-
Message to Soto
The Armed Computer Core of Naraemat is prepared for an assault on the Ixnill Satellite Grid. Seeing as it's a closed system, we have planned an invasion force to reach and plug our team into it, unless other means are procured to access the system from afar. We request your assistance, as aside from the ACC, we can only provide air support at this time.

The distraction had worked as the agents in the cleaning staff moved. The Calie agents in the coms room quietly nudged the cameras off sight with the end of there mops. Some quick patching took place.
At various random locations sat phones were plugged into ports on the wall. No one but the cleaning staff had this kind of access, they had been bought off. It only took three agent to complete the compromising of the building.
All three left and were on flights to neamat, not like they knew what had happened. Cal now had access to the sat networks systems.
---- "All yours" was a simple message sent to neamat.

Only a moment passes as the systems of Naraemat register the connection to the Ixnill satellite control. The ACC, a group of six femme-rat tech nerds, dropped their gear they had been planning to take and returned to their work stations within their personal military bunker.
Patiently, all six of them loaded up multiple scripts for cracking through any firewalls or other protections. Coordinating with each other, they simultaneously launched thirteen attacks on the Ixnill control room.
-=-=-=-=-
Another lizard humbly walks up to the head of the control room, fully aware of the previous lizard whom he had replaced.
"Um.. Uh. We're being hacked. Somehow, our systems has been accessed, and our protections seem to be a bit overwhelmed. Well, more than a bit; There are thirteen different attacks taking place, from what seem to be multiple sources. If we have that many nations trying to take over our system, I think at least one of them is going to succeed very soon."

"What the f***ing hell... are the Callie mad???" Gorh screamed in frustration. The president of Killer Zoids expressed his views publicly against nuclear weapons on numerous occasions. And the detonations of numerous nuclear devices in the atmosphere, even though hundreds of miles from any Kazian border, ground his fur the wrong way.
"Sure, lets just f***ing light up the atmosphere with fallout then. Just great!" He kicked a circular file on the ground clear across the room and then leaned onto a window looking out to the court yard. He recomposed himself the best he could before continuing.
"Vive, projections please..." He asked his secretary. "NWACS shows the debris cloud moving across the southern half of KZ as well as a large portion of Miokalia. According to particulate scans, most of the heavy radioactive particles have already fallen into the ocean, but a good portion of the cloud is still there, spreading out, and moving with the jet stream. There are also materials in the cloud which we cannot identify." "Anti-matter stuff probably..." he whispered to himself. "Notify state governments. The whole south should be prepared."
A few minutes later a national broadcast, radio, television, and holovision, was prepared. Defence Administrator Morah Lex spoke. A large stature canine with a face for the TV he was, standing 6'9" he was intimidating, yet his mannerisms were reassuring. "Citizens of Killer Zoids, a curfew for the next 3 days shall be put into effect as of 10pm tonight for all civilians. You are being urged to stay in doors, and shut all windows, doors, and flues. This is not a test. In response to a growing orbital threat, the Kingdoms of Cal unleashed a number of nuclear weapons in the upper atmosphere. While there is virtually no threat to furry life, we ask that all people limit their exposure to the out doors in the designated locations on your screen for at least the next 3 days." A map of Killer Zoids showed, with the lower sectors lighting up. "This will go into effect at 10 pm tonight, giving you a chance to stock up on food or be with family. If you do feel the urge to leave your homes before 10pm, we ask that you please do so in an orderly fashion. Anyone out after the curfew will be detained by law enforcement. Thank you for your cooperation."
The president sat back down behind his desk, as Lex returned. "Sir, the SOTO wants to know our status. Can they count on our support and the computational power of the city of UNEX? They're also questioning the launch of the GPSUX systems." "Contact them, tell them we're in. They have Kazian support." "And the satellites?" "Give them a demonstration. Target one of the disabled Ixnill satellites. Blow the bastard to dust. Maybe that will give them reason to get on board with us." "I know Tinis wont like it." Said Lex. "They've already constructed a bubble around their territory." "Well, with all this stuff flying up there" he points toward the sky ".. they may as well be scared. At least there's no danger of our satellites becoming weapons against ground forces. Charged Particle weapons don't have that kind of range." Replied the president confidently.
"At any rate, I'm just glad the south has been warned... Oh.. wait a sec.. What about Miokalia??" The foxy president looked up at the towering canine who simultaneously looked down. They both turned and headed for a phone.
The president called up Miokalian leadership and informed them of the nuclear cloud and of the precautions Kazians were taking.
Lex phoned a command center in UNEX which uplinked to one of the Kazian GPSUX satellites and issued a strike. In space, the vehicle uncurled and fired a few thrusters, the dragonish zoid frame flexed and straightened out. Segments on it's tail opened up, revealing numerous tubes. It began to glow as it was collecting power. Within less than a minute it discharged a brilliant beam of energy at the Ixnill satellite, completely vaporizing it. The zoid attached to the satellite curled back up and went dormant again. The cool down process, because of its being in space, would take a while longer than normal, and the zoid would not be ready to fire again for at least another half hour.

Salato freaked, did one of the Calie H-bombs explode in the atmosphere. Za was called in and confirmed none of the h-bombs exploded within the atmosphere well none when off with in the geo-orbit....well some did but that was with in 100 yards.
Salato was a little unhappy She uttered "They think there is a radiation cloud....Like hell any of that is radioactive is ours....best not make an issue of it"
Salato sent a message to KZ "None of our weapons have exploded within the atmosphere, I hope no harm has come to your nation, it was a necessary action.
Yours

Upon hearing the message from Cal, the NWACS (National Weather and Climate System) was contacted to re-evaluate the threat from the cloud.
They returned with a slightly different assertion. "Ahem. We apologize for our earlier projections, but we maintain the fact that the cloud is slightly radioactive. The original measurements as to the size of the cloud were skewed as sensors in the weather satellites were de-calibrated due to interference. We have repaired the issues and are still detecting a small cloud. Nuclear blasts, even in space, will produce this high level disturbance, but the threat to public safety has been reduced from orange to yellow. We still recommend the public remain indoors as much as possible for the rest of the week, but there is n need for confinement."
Kazian leadership decided to wait a day before loosening the curfew, just to err on the safe side. Even hydrogen bombs require fissioning materials to detonate. They also sent an apology to Miokalia.

Message from Secretariat Andertol to PM Salato.
"Goddamn it wtf. should we be concerned about you nuclearizing the south too?"
All commercial flights were officially grounded as were all civilian aircraft, in lieu of the high-altitude radiation. All vertifarms were ordered to dump stock and glaze the windows (a process to draw all the radiation away from the building by storing it in water running down the outside of the building. The operators of several airline systems, including Ekrahtiet-Xol-NLM, which operated primarily in Miokalia, Tinis and Namaerat (the order of airline names reflecting the nations of operation respectively), was forced to ground the entirity of all three fleets. Which angered the president of the company in Namaerat so much, he swore he would never do business with anyone in Ixnill, ever.
----
"General Tdapchey completed a suicide operation aboard his ship, he and his crew should be loaded up again shortly. It was the fastest and surest way to secure our airspace.", Zagckza informed Andertol.
"And the crews?", asked the secretary.
"The scavenger was severed into three pieces by the coaxial failure, one fighter was severed in the engine and burned up, the other was clipped on the wing as it tried to outmaneuver the Haxxar. The parts crashed in the old Rohomeo Zoiding Arena, and were recovered.
There are three surviving members of the crew and they are currently being held at a military facility I cannot disclose to you
We treated their injuries, conventionally, and put them in individual confinement. We have also deployed a swarm of RM10s over the entire country. They are on orders to leathally disable any hostile aircraft, armed and unarmed.
I can't tell you any more details because of clearance.", said Zagckza.
"Right. Of course.", said Andertol, not really too bothered by the reminder that he was the highest organic leadership in the country, but still subordinate to the machine leadership.
"Tell Tdapchey I owe him a sexual favor or something, brave mechasaur he is", said Andertol eventually, "I want some CDPs ready for launch. If there is any single nuclear anything launching from Ixnill, I want it dead before it leaves the ground."
"Already arranged", said Zagckza.
"Might I ask also. I've just been assuming this is one of those other secret things you don't tell me but. Is there any effort being done right now to compromize the computer security over there right now?", asked Andertol.
"What do you think?", said Zagckza, clearly not intending to inform him of the legions upon legions of RCDs waiting for the right moment.
----
RCDs were usually used just for intelligence, but they had also been known to interfere with other things. As Namaerat and Cal executed an operation of considerable activity against the computers in Ixnill, the RCDs, the Malychs' own MI6 of sorts, slipped in to the computer systems, in the form of low-voltage intereference on the line. A method of transmission developed by a Calie computer scientist.
Iteration 32 of the #B0035H RCD entity was aware of it's suicide mission.
Zagckza gave iteration 32 a salute as he last spoke with him from a computer in Cal, and readied the several subsequent iterations which had been created for the same purpose.

OOC: I really wish someone had messaged me about EMPs and the satellites, because now I have to disappoint you all.
IC:
The nuclear weapons that Cal had launched against the Wargrid satellites over Naraemat exploded uselessly against their shields. Because of the shield power, EMP waves were blocked from interfering with the machines. The Ixnill engineers had also included Faraday cages around the power cells and converters just in case anything (highly unlikely) would leak through. Ixnill was not stupid when it designed these orbital weapons to allow them to simply be taken down by nuclear arms so easily.
The Wargrid remained over Naraemat, fully functional. When the EMP waves stopped interfering with planet-bound sensors and radio equipment, nations would soon see the nuclear effort had been a wasted one. The Zoid satellite, for further insult, had its fire blocked by the same shields that had protected the satellites from the EMP. Another tactic would be needed, if Ixnill's rivals dared attempt it again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The relentless hacking into the central war room of Ixnill was another matter entirely. Such a tactic was not unforeseen due to the war room's potential vulnerability to such. General Tieger Rakmos turned to face the lizard who came to him with the hacking report.
"Our rivals were bound to try it sometime," he said with a wry smirk, adding to his intimidating air. He turned to face the rest of the room's operators. "Lock onto every hack and upload the LULZ Virus."
Everyone knew what that meant... the General was ordering a total fullscale destruction of enemy computers. Quickly the hacks were locked onto and the LULZ uploaded. The devastating computer virus quickly crept its way throughout enemy systems laying waste to everything, replacing monitor displays on enemy computers with one message:
INTERNET HATE MACHINE! Should have bought a dog.
The LULZ would hand Ixnill's enemies a crippling blow. Network systems would be down for weeks, if not months, from the virus' terrible toll.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But LULZ was not the only thing Ixnill's rivals would have to deal with. Seconds earlier, the war room had relayed a report of the Starscreamer's loss to Kojiro Hollenfeuer. She was beyond infuriated. She warned Miokalia that it would be war, and apparently it was war that they wanted.
Her paw swept over the control panel to Ixnill's thermonuclear arms, pressing in various codes to target particular areas in Miokalia. The blasted machines would die now. Finally she pressed a button for launch and it was too late to undo it now.
About thirty thermonuclear warheads were launched from a silo within the radioactive wastes of Ixnill. Each ICBM arched into the upper atmosphere as they began their trajectory towards Miokalian targets. Soon the machines would realize the wrath of the Revolution.
As a final message of goodbye to the Miokalians before they were wiped off the map, Kojiro typed thus:
Remember I warned you. You made me do this.
- Kojiro
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Captain Krilos paced the bridge of his scavenger as the Calie naval fleet approached. They still didn't concern him, but he was starting to grow worried about where the Hyena had gotten to in the depths of the ocean. He didn't have to wait longer; however, when a radio communication came from the small scout itself.
"Captain? This is the Hyena. We've found and secured the sattelite wreckage. We're now heading back to you."
Captain Krilos stopped pacing and took in a deep, relaxed breath.
Somewhere on the vast net, a pattern being observed the present activities. It investigated the LULZ virus and found it no threat to itself, despite it being a partial system equation resonate itself. But it was quite unintelligent, a program as oppposed to a flow. But the pattern being observed it being proded by paniced hackers. It quickly became interested in what was going on. It tried to touch its familiar points of contact. One was missing entirely. The other was worried. The pattern being thought for a moment and realized its old friend and rival had probably used the wicked PDS once more. But rarely was it without good cause. So he was at least safe, and that made her happy.
But there was something amiss... In her casting about she sense an over lay. A pattern reflected in the very cables that carried the information networks. Vanished lines of forces, trying to hold rigid. What was going on? She would have to investigate this a bit.
The CDP devices attached to the MSNADI system over Miokalia had been put into orbit a year before, for this very reason.
two capsules for each incoming missile were dispatched from the specialized carruthian field launcher, a system to expedite the interceptor's path, and also make it much harder to hit. Reaching the missiles at their peak, they detonated their charge, small to the naked eye, but blinding to the instruments detecting pucon charge.
29 of the missiles were neutralized before reaching their targets, the last one was deflected slightly and then neutralized incompletely. It was prematurely detonated northwest of Cal by C-ring device.
With this sudden overreaction to the defense of Miokalian airspace, Andertol approved Blinn to begin making an attack.
He then addressed the population on the matter that Ixnill intended to murder every single one of them, organic and inorganic.
----
#B0035H-32 found unexpected opposition inside the computer system. Regardless, he made his rounds, though now it didn't matter so much if the codes were broadcast, his suicide mission was enacted. Without thought, he returned to a static state, a piece of interference, and began to blow out transistors and scramble connections in the routing system he found his way into.
Back home, LULZ splattered right against the language barrier wall, knocking out only one router simply from reaction. The idiosyncratic system was too prepared, and too used to this kind of attack coming all the time. Too many people working on it, and too much preparation.
----
Secretariat Andertol spoke with Hychakita Doron on Dincota through compression phone for a short time. A consultation on an escape plan had to be formulated.
"We have 120 million dinosaurs in this country and we need to start considering a way to move that many people back to Dincota. I am seriously concerned about the future viability of this current location. If we stay here, people may die, and everything we stand for will be trampled upon. I want you to get the Quints to be our consultants on this matter. They've already done it once before, we may have to do it again.", he said. It was his responsibility to ensure the survival of the population, and intelligence was indicating that this situation could continue indefinately. He was absolutely convinced that Ixnill intended to kill them all.
[[[OOC- Is this going anywhere at all? Besides Ixnill killing everyone who dares to defend their territorial soveriegnty and degrading into a really lame ass RP where suddenly resources and technical competancy and talent pool no longer matter.
This has got to be one of the most stressful threads ever, and I'm starting to find it odious. How are we supposed to RP the other threads if EVERYONE IS DEAD?
Is this supposed to lead to some over-throwing of leadership, civil war, whatever or is this intended to end with all of us throwing our hands up in the air and just stop playing completely. RP wars between actual players (rather than RP wars between a player and a dummy nation or internal civil war) don't work well for this very reason. It's like playing a duel in D&D where everyone just rolls 20's all the time until someone starts adding 100 to their rolls. I see this to be the direction this is going. And I think I've played into this direction too long, I'm getting sick of having to pull stuff out of my ass in order to participate in a stuff-godmodding contest. Consider Miokalia under a PDS dome too, if you must.]]]
"Hey, are you guys seeing this?" Said one of the femme rats in the forward computer station. One of them had fallen over into a laughing fit at what they saw on the screen, the rest snickering at the message. One of the calmer rats spoke up.
"Our last back-up was about two minutes after we started, wasn't it?" The rest nodded in agreement, opening up the cases of their machines and pulling out the offending hardware the virus was on. They moved a nearby board inside their cases into the formers place, having been isolated to store a copy of all information. Within thirty seconds, they had their machines booted up again to resume their assault on Ixnills system, almost uninterrupted.
--------
Salinas was more than disturbed by the turn of events. It would seem the information he was given was premature, and his efforts on the satellites mostly useless. They couldn't do much until they had a hanging chad they could clip off the grid with a strait trajectory with their normal stockpile of weaponry, and nuclear missiles had failed to overcome whatever defensive measures the satellites had.
He engages several defense protocols, least of which is sending out a message to all citizenry to take shelter in a bunker, the underground rail system, or a Class-3 building until the situation was resolved or until further notice.
An Airship assault was suicide considering the present situation, and a land-strike was equally difficult to fulfill. Tunneling was an excellent option, but the situation demanded immediate resolution, and Naraemat had nothing set up in that area to enact such a plan.
For the first time all day, Xan changed the expression on his face into one of frustration. He had heard of Miokalia's broadcast; Ixnill intended to kill everyone, and as of yet a plan had not fully formed to prevent it. He held a pencil in his paw, crushing it with well-trained force. World-destruction was a right that he solely held as far as he was concerned.
In a state of mind he was not quite used to, he made his call to Kojiro.
