I've been puting off RPing the 'war' in Genus Liberalus because of both school and the fact that I'm not that grand at RPing combat situations... which has put me off from doing it for the longest time. Of course, I'm ready to join back in! Sad thing is though, it's been awhile since I posted... Can I just have a sort of... 'passing mention' in a next post to where we did push past the forces in GL and now we have say... 1/3 of the nation under DSL control?

Okay, seems reasonable. RP what you feel is nescissary to tell the story/stories, and just sort of incriment the details when needed. Hopefully I'll get back into teh swing of thigns tonight with a couple posts and such me self.

Kick ass! I'll post something one I'm done with the homework... It's basically asswipe work, but it's very tedious.

Lemur, Ours is as friendly and informal an RP environment as we can possibly make it. Fortunately most in our little community are amicable enough (OOCly: it's inevitable we'll have the odd IC tyrant/despot who has a kind player), while our 'Founder only regional control' has successfully deterred the sort of twerp who lives only to make others miserable. Fortunately the latter are usually either too lazy and/or too illiterate to bother with text-dependent forums that are RP driven Yes: if one can make arrangements with the players of other nations by all means do so! Our region is what we make of it after all. On a side note I apologize for my recent inactivity. A nasty cold couple with zero sick leave at work contributed to the latest round of unintended silence: working through a cold tends to make one "fall down go boom" once one drags oneself home Cheers, - Shikeishuu

The fighting in Genus Liberalis and Shimandu. Not really a real war but more of major policing actions, though Shikeishuu and Lemuriania have officially declared war.

Right about the time the board started up, The Incorperated States of Shimandu disapeared from Nation States. To get the ball rolling, I took it upon myself to begin the Shimadu collapse thread. Here's a quick recap:
The major players and officials in the Shimandu government were assinated in quick succession by unknown forces with in a few hours of each other, leaving the government leaderless. Soon the country decended into chaos. Ciata hinted that the assination plot might have had Sicarii as its instigator. Forces from Tinis soon entered Shimandu territory to try to restore order, as well as special forces from Shikeishuu and contingents from Darastra.
An organized force developed and approched the Ciata boarder but after several berages was finally taken out by the Ciatan Raja Borah. Tinis then offered to defend the Ciata boarder from futhur attacks from Shimandu. Ciata hired Silverbane's mercenaries to perform operations in Shimandu at their behest. The next big thing was the disapearance of the Ciatan rep to the federation council and her new husband. They were held hostage by Sicarii who wanted to confront Opalance of Ciata but was foiled by his body guard and distracted by Izixs. Sicarii soon disapeared.
More recently Shikeishuu has officially began military operations into Shimandu and Tinis has undergone Operation Diamond Claw. Darastra also fired a tack nuke at Sicarii after loosing a unit to him, but the missile 'disapeared' shortly before impact. And Silverbane's group has discovered secret missile silos that are missing their missiles.
I hope that sums it up for Shimandu. As for Genus Liberalis not a whole lot is going on there yet except I have an elite group of soldiers doing some stuff and Lemuriana has used the countries main river to perform a flanking manuver to gain control of the western third of Libarlis.
Yeah, its pretty long at this point.
