Population Explostion/Immagration Causes Government to Worry
A serious influx of Genus Liberalis immgrants as well as an unexplained baby boom amougst furs, scales and humans alike has government officials and the general poplus worried.
"We've never experienced a situation like this before," says Professor Phen'Wenke Ced'Sgneht, "Our population is growing at an incalcuible rate! A nation that could once hold both the enviroment and 50,000 people is now holding roughly 190,000 people as well as our beautiful jungle. Something has got to give!"
Random opinions has been sprouting faster than mango trees, but one motive is obviously. Lemuriania is going to take Genus Liberalis.
"Half of their poplus is already inside our borders anyway!" shouts deli owner Doly'Noy Forooy, "Getting all that land from GL wouldn't be that bad. Plus, a little more savana wouldn't kill us. I see our savana reserve up their in the North-West corner. It's nice."
Press Minster YDolyvor’Noy ThoNows only confirms this assumption. "The lands won in the GL campaigns will ultimately become apart of Lemuriania. The process itself may take several decades for the natives to get adjusted to, but they will be granted the same rights as our citizens."
However, YDolyvor’Noy ThoNows goes on to add, "This does not mean that GL has enough land for us to move into. With the rescent unexplained baby boom, we'll still need to obtain more land.. and fast."
CEO Phen'Evele Yenem suggests, "We could always just pave over some of our trees. Trying to co-exists with nature has been tricky and is only getting trickier. If we just cut down a few jungles, it's only going to make more space for us!"
Mistress of Commerce Phen’Lles Meht Lle while not making any official statements, have commenting, "We could just buy some land from the Federation itself. Perhaps something from the Nogitsune region. I hear it's lovely this time of year. Or maybe Ken-Ohki."
Mistress of the Nation Soxo’Noy Nytyonrynnyn Lydo states unofficially, "If I had my choice, I'd just expand the borders of Lemuriania by buying land from the locals around us. A little more of everything, expecially something along the bay. We need a few good ports."
