Ah crawled out from under the luggage and put most of it back.
She said to Ziza "Geeze a hand."
Ah smiled "Geeze a hand we clear this and we get shiny food!"
Ah figured the lady that had over priced food would be here soon. It was shiny and was edible... Ah and oi were losing interest and knew that the tickets they had...knowing the stubs could get them a feed.
Ah saw Oi and the pair shot up the train to the bar car that both know they could get a decent feed.
Clare pointed out to Deiter "You know if they are eating else where..."
Calre pointed out allot of things Deiter would like to eat. None we likely to get her in real trouble for eating.
"You will meet Oi and Ah in time. " Claner smiled.

Deiter munched on a pamphlet featuring an image of a bunch of people in some flower-filled field hugging a sheep. "These people appear to be mighty pleased with themselves if I do say so myself.", he munched on it some more, "It must be the sherry!" He then tried to reproduce the voice of Julia Child and said in a weird high pitch, "This dish needs a bit more Sherry!.. And some more for the cook!" He devoured some more of the pamphlets and finally said, "So which one are you from? Corona? Persephone? You seem to know some of the more recent television than we're getting way out back in Gomi." Red looked at Dieter with puzzlement, tilting his head to one side and furrowing his brow.
"Huh? I'm from Broadhead actually. In KZ. I overheard miss entitlement back there talking with her goons between themselves, and I kept hearing something like Diet in reference to you. Seeing you kind of reminded me of soda. So.. there you go."
"So, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, my dad would watch these old movies, ALL THE TIME. It would be like his thing to do to unwind. And then he'd quote em in everyday talk, ALL THE TIME. Eventually, it kinda sticks and you start talking like that normally!"
"By the way, I'm Richter Rodney, or Red. I'm here for a semester to take a foreign criminal justice class for my degree. Supposed to make me more well rounded or something."

Deiter would have looked slightly horrified for a moment at realizing he misindentified Red, mostly worried that he'd be offended.
"Oh no... I'm sorry I may have told someone in the tile-lined room with fountains at the place back there that I was from KZ. I'm so sorry I made you, by proxy, look weird."
He stopped eating the pamphlets and continued,
"This is kind of a nervous habit. It's apparently not actually necessary for anything. I should probably stop. I'm here for world history, of your world. I already know mine's.
Ok. So this has been bugging me since it's was broadcasted back home:
Did Star Wars actually happen? Or was it like one of those sneaky dramatic fiction things like War of the Worlds?.
Which made us seriously consider a counter-attack against Mars, until we figured out it was 'fiction'.
See this is why I'm taking world history. Because through a telescope and listening to radio and tv: it's fairly hard to tell what's what."

"Weird? Have you actually been to KZ? Compared to the rest of the world its pretty weird."
He raised an eye brow again and looked at Dieter.
"Here watch this, I'll show you", as he pulled on his eyelids to turn them inside out "raaawwwrr gross!!" waving his paws like the Frankenstein monster.
Haha, Star Wars was just a movie. And then it was spoofed, among other things.. Oh. You don't think Spaceballs was...?"

The stops at Tatol (in the north of emass) and Myilan the capital of inteer...only a stop for the CATs as it was where the cal line and the central line met. The train raced over inteer, the swamp was best seen at night as not seeing the thing was the best. There were odd flashes of light from the swamp as gas caught light, the waste recycling plants added to the odd glow in the distance.
Ah and Oi looked out of the window of the bar car with their food in front of them.
Ah said "It's kinda beautiful"
Oi said nothing.
"I never know the mainland had such a place like this...I have never been to the mainland before..have you." Ah smiled.
Oi just said "once."
It was passing 2:30 am and the moon was large in the north-west.
Ah desided not to press why Oi had got so quiet.
She pulled out her little net book and typed away. She had never know Oi to be so quiet..well quiet at all.
She figured someone would read something and figure that they could get free food here...Oi was worrying her. She was just not being Oi. ---

OOC: Well has this thread has been dead for a bit, I'll just move it one to them arriving in Liye-Andrac.
IC:
Ah noticed a hill in the distance on the huge dull flat plain and exclaimed "Shit!!!".
Just as the announcement came "Now approaching Solimina Street station, Liye-Andrac"
She shouted to Oi who was getting some drinks in "We gotta move! Our stop."
She shot over to Oi who was by the bar, Oi handed her a pint which she downed, Oi did the same and the pair shot up the train. As the ran into the coach that the rest were in Ah shouted "Move your arses, it's our stop." grabbing her bag from the luggage rack.
Like most Teuie cities it didn't have much in the way of suburbs, being fairly small in area but high in population density. The CAT was slowing as Oi stopped to admire the view, they could see Liye's ancient castle and citadel on the top of the hill surrounded by Liye's old city. The grandeur of the new city was not so apparent but from the other window the skyscrapers of the modern finacial quarter of Liye-Andrac was visible.
The city of Liye and the port Andrac had only come under one authority sixty years previously despite being only two miles apart city center to city center and having long ago become one conurbation. The universities had merged long before,
The city had a, rightly deserved, reputation for being schizophrenic as the natures of the two cities were very different. Lyie was the ancient capitol of Teu and tended to think it self superiour to others. Andrac on the other hand was a port (Of the river type, inland) and trading place so tended to be more down to earth and practical.
Solimina Street station was in Andrac and was the long distance station due to a argument long ago between the CMT and Lyie's council. In the end the CMT had, had enough of Lyie's councilors and just built a station in Andrac, who's local politicians were more than happy to help.
As a final 'up yours' to Lyie's councilors Solimina Street station was bigger and more spectacular that Lyie's Royal Central station. The CMT did take advatage of the fact that most people in Andrac had a massive chip on their shoulder when it came to Lyie, so wanted to do something to beat them that they could never match.
The original station buildings were there, under the massive stone and crystal arched roof, it for a long time was the largest single span arch of any kind for over one hundred years, when it had been beaten by a bridge the CMT had build fifty years back. The roof was over seven hundred meters long and three hundred wide. In fact it was the only station on the CAT network that had never needed updated to take longer trains (and was unlikely to need it in the foreseeable future, the station was still no where near capacity as well).
Oi was the first one off the train, Ah figured she should at least try to wrangle the others. Oi took a few steps off the train before she stopped and her jaw dropped. She had heard of this place and seen photos but nothing had prepared her for actually seeing it.
She knew the Teuie had a reputation as the builders of the commonwealth but this was something totally different. The morning light streamed in threw the crystalline strips that ran along the roof, there was marble everywhere. Every thing was clad in it, the bridges over the tracks were marble the only things that weren't were the rails and overhead lines, but even the supports for the lines were. The place glistened.
There were no little commuter trains here only CATs and HSTs , nothing that travailed less than 150 mph.
Oi rememberer what one travel guide had said. "When you have seen the station everything else in Liye-Andrac is a let down.".
She muttered "Nothing they have here can top this"
OOC: Note to self: people probably don't care about the back story, stop putting it into posts so they become too long.

"Is this the dormatory unit?", Dieter asked, "it doesn't seem like it was designed for organic sleep in mind. Red, is this the place which dorothy refers to as "Kansas"?"

Oi looked at Dieter shaken from shock "What?!?! Can't your kind see this place?!?!?" she exclaimed.
She turned back to the cartage and Dieter exclaiming "THis is a work of art, look about you. The true from of are a fusion of everything, functionality, endurance and form. This is just how art should be, like an engraving that improves the blade, an nice form that makes a handle on a pot better, something that just makes people think.
This is what art is for! The artists who made this place could never have known what a modern train looks like...but they fit here. The only things that don't are us unworthy people."
She went quiet then looked at Dieter "You can not see that? Do you have a spirit?"
ooc: Ah will appreciate it...but from a pure engineering point of view....she isn't the most ascetic of people.

Ah smiled and looked over the station the stone roof was, well amazing.
She figured that there might be some others that had caught a train up here.
