Arkus nods, "I shall have an InSec heli waiting to take....Hugususa...back to your pilot. As for rooms, I made sure some of the guest rooms here were opened up. We didn't know exactly how many of you were coming, of course, but there are plenty of rooms. As for you, Ambassador, I'm sure Cedric would love to show you the library."
Arkus was going to talk to the Secretary later, he's sure he can have Stidham arrested for something now...
Cedric stood up, a grin on his face. "Now then, do you wish to see my personal collection, or the slightly smaller royal libraries?"

There were some curious looks exchanged between the delegation.
"I guess your personal collection might be a place to start," replied Guw. "Provided its not the type of library that we can get too lost in."

Cedric chuckles "Oh goodness no, it's no labyrinth. I just prefer to have all of the good things on hand. Most of the palace library is filled with old census and tax information. At any rate, allow me to show you to your rooms first. It'll give us time to fuel up a heli."
He stands up, nodding to several guards as they leave the building.
The guest rooms are connected to the main building, according to Cedric, they used to belong to the former royal family of Accallia and their retainers. The consuls have much more modest rooms, but they wished to make up for the earlier incident.
"No use letting one spoiled fruit ruin the hospitality."
There is probably some cultural meaning behind that one, but it doesn't exactly translate well. The rooms are, well, fit for kings. Opulent, with fine silks and gold furnishings. There are even servants standing by to see to the needs of all.
Cedric goes off on a rant about the former residents, what a certain table was made of, but its not long before a black uniformed fox approaches him.
"The heli is fueled and ready sir."
"Alas, I do believe it is time for that call back to your home, miss Guw. Have whoever you are sending follow this lad, here. He'll get you back to your pilot real quick."

"Thank you very much. Hugususa? Please go to the helicopter and bring back our pilot and the remaining gift," said Guw. She repeated the latter part in Tinisian to make sure her escort understood.
As Hugususa and the uniform headed out, Guw was forced to comment about the state of the rooms. "I am deeply honored. Its always horribly ironic how mismatched my accommodations back home are compared to the places I travel too. I live in a small apartment in our largest city and share a kitchen with the old lady next door. But when ever I'm abroad I'm blessed with wonders. I must say that this is the most beautiful room I, nor probably any of us, have had the pleasure of being able to stay in. Though we are undeserving of such a place, we will accept the honor of these accommodations gladly."

"Oh come now, only the best for our first guests in the better part of nearly two centuries! As far as I'm concerned, for as long as you stay, these are your rooms. It's not like we use them anymore. Haven't had a royal family in quite a while...now, while everyone has their things tended to, I shall be heading to my study. It has much more relevant things than the stuffy record-keeping of the palace library. Any who wish to come, just follow me."
Cedric, with one of the guards, walks down a series of marble lined hallways, eventually coming to an unassuming side door. He produces a key from his robes and fiddles with the lock, letting loose a string of curses as he drops the key. A few moments afterwords, and he opens the door to a fairly good-sized room, with several bookshelves and a desk that is looking out a large stained glass window depicting Akanas fighting Sifus.
Cedric heads over to a particularly dusty section and pulls out several scrolls and large books.
"Fairly...light reading. For unbiased history, you can check these. A good many of them keep good timelines of the history of Aatuylva. Many of the other tomes here are stories, folk tales, mythologies, and biographies of famous persons...But, it's better than sifting through endless paperwork and genealogies."

Jaz grinned. "My wife is big on genealogies. But there is probably not the, umm…" he struggled to remember a word still. He wasn't that great at the language and had a heavy accent. "Sided-ness to her family in this place. I think I will like a good story. Any good one's?"
Nudafa was already poking at some histories and books on famous battles. Solivan still seemed to be scanning his eyes around the room. Valime was actually most interested the window. "Much of fighting," he mumbled. "Warrior people?"

"I suppose we could be called as such, yes....as for stories, I suggest looking up Virrakos, or Artificer Kilar. The truth behind those tales is so muddled by exaggeration, that they've become quite entertaining over the years...That and they'll probably be the only ones without some mention of a war..."
Cedric walked over to Valime. "Yes...I often find myself staring at it quite a bit myself. Interesting work. The same man who made the statues made this. No matter how bright it is outside, the image of Sifus never lets it shine through, while Akalan amplifies it. Something about the materials he used in it. There are several others across Accallia. This one depicts a battle in the creation myth, where Akalan and Virros had ripped Reality from Sifus, so that life would be born. Incredibly silly concept, but makes for exciting bedtime stories."

Valime nodded. "I can't say I'm a very religious person. But my parents did tell me that, hmm…" he seemed to be trying to remember a few words. "That faiths and myths are often built on things that happened. Concept might be silly, but maybe it was metaphor for how people came to your land. Maybe Akalan and Virros were heros that battle against someone in the role of Sifus to free the peoples that would be your ancestors?"
The others in the library were already delving into various books. Solivan had opted to take Cedric's reading suggestions and had found a book on Kilar.

"Perhaps...Though I shudder to think what kind of person it would take...for the fear of them to still be here, thousands of years after their death. At any rate, the knowledge of it is long gone, lost in that blasted wood out there."
He looked once more at the window, then turned to Valime.
"My father always said that trading stories was the first step to camaraderie. Now, I know what you said...but I am interested in the myths of your home, if you know any."

Valime nodded. "I must agree. I can't say I am very smart with stories, but I could share a few that I kind of know. What kind of story would you like to hear? Old times ones or ones more recent? Tales of kings? Tales of priests? Tails of stars?"
----
Guw saw Hugususa again without incident and began calling back home. She placed the phone near the window and was happy to see the signal strength was sufficient to make the call.
Before to long she was speaking with someone in The Tower in Tinisian.
"Hi, this is Ambassador Guw. Important inquiry."
"This is Tower Communications Chief Veq. What is the nature of your inquiry."
"The Aatuylva people have observed flights over their territory that they believe are spy planes. Do we have anyone in the air over this country?"
"Barring your crew's being in the air, we have no aircraft of any type over the confederacy at this time."
Guw nodded. "Good. Do we know who does or might?"
"The Kingdoms of Cal have sent us information about their re-con flights. Unrequested from what I understand. It might be them."
Guw hummed. "Forward a request to the proper people to return the favor with the satellite versions we might have. Just compensation I'd say. And let them know that their flights have put the lives of good people at risk unnecessarily."
"Is there an emergency?"
"I hope not. I'll be letting our new friends know who's been flying over them though. Take care."
"Good luck ambassador."

Cedric smiled and said, "Why don't you..pick one of your.. favorites, from the old times. One that impacted you, and then I shall tell you one of mine, hmm?"
----------------------------------
Dugald paced through the lower passageways of the palace. Once built in order to break sieges, the old, forgotten tunnels served his purpose well.
He utterly despised the one he was meeting...but some evils were necessary.
He heard them...and smelled them..before he saw them. Their footsteps were agonizingly loud in the dusty passages.
"What do you want old man? It isn't polite to call a meeting before the schedule."
"Silence you whelpling. Things have gotten worse."
The grey wolf stepped into the torchlight, eyes narrowing.
"I can hardly see how it could possibly get worse, Dugald."
"They've brought in the Tinisians you dolt! Foreign aid would ruin both of our plans!"
The wolf didn't look phased at all. He must've known something that Dugald didn't. He hated when other people knew things. He could tell. The wolf, in his homemade grey uniform, was..was...smug!!
"Perhaps..perhaps not. If you could...enlighten us as to their laws, they might be able to help. We need legitimate support if the international stage is looking."
"...support? And how exactly would that fit into my plans? Hm?"
"You'll have your kingdom old man. Just try and keep that madman Stidham off of us longer."
"That was done, InSec will be handling your...soldiers, from now on."
The wolf nodded, somber.
"Good. Have the supplies from the sympathizers arrived?"
Dugald took the torch from the notch on the wall, and showed the..wolf his spoils.
"Several cases of rifles, swords, and enough ammunition to last past the mating season...if your warriors are decent shots. A few anti-tank rockets as well."
"Splendid...how goes your efforts?"
"Alas...the council is united. They have grown stronger...a military intervention shall be needed, and I dare not ask Stidham."
"Ha! Good luck old man."
"Hrmph."
Dugald watched the wolf and his cronies cart the supplies away, to the caravan that would leave that night. He hoped they got accosted by wraithwolves.
But..as much as he detested them, they did put a lot of stress on that old fool Cedric, and that was priceless. The gold on the side wasn't that bad, either...
Bah, all of this brooding...Dugald needed to think clearly..time to head to the local pubs again.

Out in the hinterland the commonwealth did something very much to their nature. A derelict house out in the middle of nowhere got a new mail box. The commonwealth special forces had quietly moved in , they were all lupine to not stand out too much. They carried very high quality forgeries of stamps, who forged those any more?
The messages carried two seals respectively, the first of the lucan council, it read:
"Greetings
We wish to by pass the tinisian government, we believe they wish the best for your nation. How ever the lucan councils wishes to make likes with your nation.
Yours
Lyie (Special Royal Foreign Ambassador)"
The second carried the seal of the elected government: of the commonwealth:
"Greetings
It appears that the government of tinis wishes to keep your trade to themselves. I believe it is out a miss-lead sense of protection. Not of any maliciousness on their part if you wish to talk with us, post a reply to this address. But do not mention our intervention to the tinisians we would rather declare a fate a comply relations wise.
Yes the over flights were ours, we only flew them as we respect you as you are nation of power.
Yours
Al (Foreign Sectary) "
Of course everything could be denied, and probably would be if things went wrong.

[OOC: My post is being written..but I have to ask....forgeies? What, do they look like standard Aatuylvan letters on the outside? Do they look like official Aatuylvan government post? Are you talking about their identification papers? I'm confused. I shall post the IC response later after I have your answer ^^ ]

ooc: the stamps and the envolpes look totally normal, the stamps are fake, getting stamps from your nation is tricky. Until opened they will appear nothing out of the ordanery, the only thing that gives them away as possibly the real deal are the seals (which are inside the envolpes, sealling the letters with in).

[OOC: Mmmk...I'm going to assume you've got them forged to look like priority mail? That'll get them sent by heli instead of train...either way, couple of IC days, and your guys would be gone.....would leave Guw in a precarious position once Stidham reads them and goes into a fit though XD]
