As a new member of the FF, we are more than a little intrested in who/what is the FFDF? We have not been asked for forces, is this some force that is composed of only a select group or states?
Is it only controlled by said group?

The Furry Federation Defense Forces is at this time a voluntarily organized military force created to defend the federation. Various nations from the Furry Federation have put forward military units, personel, and equipment to be used for federation sponsored actions and to assist in the mutual defense of the federation. I hope soon to work with various federation members to bring this group into a more official light, engage in formal organization, and to setup a proper command structure that does not favor any one nation and is responsive and respectful to all member nations.
Current Tinis has close to fifty thousand troops designated as part of the FFDF, others have more, most have less troops committed. And not every nation is able to field a military contingent that is as capable as those currently serving and thus are more than happy to assist in other ways. At this time, most of the units volunteer to fall under a command jurisdiction for the various operations and though this structure has worked thus far in the limited use the FFDF has gotten, as its use becomes more commen, it would be best to put in place something more rigorous and formal.
If Cal would like to propose a draft resolution to formally organize the FFDF, Tinis would be very interested in assisting in the hashing out of the details.
