Salato seems to relax a little and says "Providing there is a shower, a bed and our luggage has been delivered, our needs are few. I assume normal diplomatic protocols with regard to privacy will be respected."
"And I don't know about anyone else but some food might be a good idea." she continues "There will be plenty of time for deal making once we are all refreshed, it has been a long trip for many of us." she finishes.
She was also keen to have words with the drone. She knew that the AIs, or the Atua as they seemed to want to be called now, were naive but they were being out of order. They normally didn't get involved with the 'real' world, something had changed, they were after all one of the only native races not to be representation on the lucan council. A call to lyie would seem to be in order to see what she made of the situation. With the emassen joining the commonwealth the council would need new members so perhaps this would be time to bring the 'Atua' in.

"Our needs are nothing special either," answered Multek. "We should be fine with two rooms, provided each has two beds. I'm quite certain none of us are in the mood to be that close to each other in sleeping arrangments. As for food, from what I understand the only issue is Waldo has a slight intollerance to glutine so he won't be eating any bread unless he's been assured that its non-glutine."
Multek nodded to Waldo, whom responded. Multek translated, "Oh, and though we don't have much luggage, a swift delivery would be appreciated. Krel apparantly wants to make sure he has a chess set for any down time we may be having."

"This really is the last formality to take care of, miss Salato. Once this is sorted we can move on to the tour proper - starting with restaurants, if you so choose," Onyx explained, smiling politely while Nebri typed something into what must've been a computer set in below the front desk.
"I was planning on suggesting that one of the main points of today's tour should be an explanation of our government system... since there's a Council gathering until the end of the week, it should help illustrate the point," the Overseer added.

Salato smile's "Thank you will find organics are much more reasonable after eating, providing that the food is palatable, if you can not I can cook with little good ingredients." she says.
"But I assume that shall not be necessary" Salato completes

"I think we'll find the accomodations adequate", said First Lady Sorenson.
After Erenmor's explanation of the day's tour plans, Mrs. Sorenson nearly said something to Salato but very subtely Phong indicated to not do so. "It would seem that we want to intervene but don't yet", he said very quietly.
Meanwhile #36 was dividing his skeptical stare between the Calie drone and Onyx. #36 was impressed, but just slightly unnerved by something. Something he was not expressing just yet. He was going to wait and see if his concerns were actually valid, or just misunderstanding.
The two guards picked up on the tension from #36 and eventually Esoure voiced it. "#36, Tdentaku and I are very anxious to speak with you in mutual candor whenever time permits. Also I beleive some of your formalities are causing us to preceive tension. I do hope that this tension is simply nothing more than culture shock... is it?" Esoure spoke in a clearly paced, mostly monotone voice, but it seemed to be very direct and to-the-point in it's statement.

"I certainly hope so," said Multek. "I know our military fur here has the look of having passed into a parrallel dimension. But I'm sure some warm food and some down time may put all of us at ease. But diplomacy can't always wait on down time, so I'm sure our delegation will be happy to continue on with any planned schedules."

As the delegates sorted out their accommodation issues with guild master Nebri, Onyx tilted his head down slightly, his ears flicking several times. For a short time, he looked rather concerned about something. He promptly brightened up again, though, when the diplomats had finished stating their requests.
"Ah, if we're all ready, let's proceed," he said, giving Nebri a polite nod. "Your luggage will be delivered in short order, you can rest assured," he added as he led the group out of the guild hall. By now, Nathaniel and his two guards were nowhere to be seen.
"There is a restaurant within proximity of the Council Chamber elevator that has acquired quite a favourable reputation, I believe, it should prove adequate for our needs," he said, walking down the corridor, "It has a very diverse range of dishes... though I fear they haven't yet had the chance to pick up anything quite suitable for a Malych," he added apologetically, turning to the Miokalians.
The surrounding corridors seemed rather the same as the delegates saw on their arrival in Citadel Peak - mostly wall carvings of historical scenes, occasional depictions of persons with slates of text, every now and then a cartouche containing a series of odd geometrical characters. On two occasions they passed colourful mosaics also depicting persons. Of course, the occasional plain grey wall also occurred now and then. The doors set into the walls were generally unremarkable, with plaques next to them describing what lay behind them - shops, living quarters, the odd pub.
Then the corridor rather abruptly turned into a glass-roofed walkway through a massive open space - easily the size of a decent Olympic stadium. The walls of the chamber seemed, from a distance, to be naturally formed stone, while the floor of the hall, several levels below them, was overgrown with a literal jungle of tropical plants. What seemed odd was that the hall apparently lacked a roof - the blue sky was visible far above, with sunlight shining down on the miniature rainforest.
"We keep several gardens such as these in Citadel," Onyx explained, as they crossed above the jungle. "Mostly as a repository of the wonderful variety of plant life out in the world, but also as a place for our citizens to relax. Generally, each of these gardens covers a very different type of environment."
Several other walkways were visible here and there, and platforms could be seen sprouting off them, sometimes occupied by people sitting at the benches lining the platform edges.
Eventually they left the garden hall, returning to the confined space of the usual corridors. After that, it wasn't very long until Onyx suddenly turned to the side, through a doorway, inviting the delegates to follow him.
The room beyond it could be easily identified as a restaurant - numerous tables under dark red cloth, chairs around them. There actually weren't that many people inside at the tables, though that could be attributed to the early hour. Generally the restaurant was a mix of darker colours, shades of red, black, brown and the occasional touch of gold. The light was dimmed here compared to the light in the corridors. There was an unusual feature to the place, though - in the centre of the room stood a peculiar construction: between a circular metal plate in the floor and ceiling hovered suspended some ten light blue crystal pieces, resembling shards of a greater piece, each different than the others. A tiny metal ball floated between them, occasionally striking a shard and producing a soft bell-like noise.
The staff didn't look entirely surprised by the visit, and several tables had been pulled together to form a larger one so as to accommodate all the delegates comfortably. Everyone was shown to their seats by politely quiet staff, mostly furres with one or two humans. The waiters then backed off, giving the delegates a few moments to exchange words before they would return to take their orders.

By this time Multek, Krel, and Waldo had begun bantering back and forth about the sights. Multek comments as they are being seated that Krel was very fond of the murals and is now thinking about reading up on the history of Erenmor when he gets a chance so he could place the scenes he saw in context.
"Heh, I guess this is some down time if some of us want to be technical. We hope everyone knows that as always Tinis is up for a listen for interesting offers of trade and all things diplomatic. In fact, I think I heard something about an arms fair occuring somewhere in the federation before to long. And I don't think it goes without saying that the Union is both interested in selling and buying hardware if its available.
"Of course we could also converse about the world stage and all that. From what Waldo tells me someone in the human centric UN finally recognized we exist. Or is someone more in the mood to talk about Lemurland again?"
Multek gives a chuckle after that question.

#36 wasn't interested in eating. He didn't exactly eat "food" per se. Instead, he simply made a teletext channel availible and finally tried to start a personal chat with Onyx. The tension between him and Cal's Salato needed to be addressed, as did other matters. #36 wanted to meet Onyx, the person. He figured understanding the person would allow him and his lot to understand Erenmor better.
Even if not a single audible word had to be spoken.
He assumed there was a reason the Overseer was not as forthcoming about the 'whys' as much as the 'hows' of what they had seen so far. Perhaps in a intelligent conversation undetected and inaudible to the organics present, Onyx would be more candid.
Phong didn't eat, but the First Lady chose a salad with fish.
Lieutenant Chon, who was very quiet thus far chose similarly something quite simple.
The other two units Tdachey and Esoure were hard-pressed to sit, but eventually they did.

"The world stage is a topic reserved for another time, perhaps," Onyx spoke up. "And I'm afraid I cannot speak in respect to the arms fair, that would be more of a matter for the corporations that make weapons their business," he adds with a smile.
Around this point, the waiters returned, bringing over the meals that the Miokalians had ordered, a few waiters approaching the other delegates to advise in selecting suitable meals. Curiously enough for a seemingly high-grade restaurant, the recommended starters were quite simple, a choice of three soups - tomato (with toast), onion (also with toast) and pea soup (advertised as proper military quality - thick enough to stand a spoon in it).
"That is not to say we are not interested in speaking of trade," Onyx picked up once the waiters had gone off with further orders. "Simply that arms is one of the things I do not personally regulate," here, the Overseer turned to Varro. "I believe you had a trade agreement in mind already, though? Please, let's hear it."

"Indeed. As I understand it, Erenmor is quite keen on collecting all the little scraps its citizens produce," Marcello says inbetween spoonfuls of soup, "I'm hoping we can come to a mutual agreement to take a bit of the collected matter off of your hands. Please, tell us how your recycling system goes about its work."

"Oh, the reclamation process is nothing too complex, really," Onyx smiled. "We use nano robots to literally disassemble the subject in question into component elements. Scrap, trash, exhaust... organic waste, bodily remains, nothing really gets wasted here. And when you get down to it, there's no such thing as a useless element."
"Which could be a problem for the deal," he added with a quiet sigh. "Since we have a use for virtually everything we reclaim, we're not too keen on giving up any of that... however, if there's one thing we can't get enough of, it'll be the more exotic elements. If you had anything we could extract them from, I'm sure we could trade purified matter in return for those."
"And before you ask, no, none of what you're eating used to be a citizen. Reprocessed food is clearly marked as such - there's really no chance of eating anyone you know unless you ask for it specifically."

What a nice note for him to leave his point on, Marcello thinks grimly. Forcing the thought aside, he continues as if the last part was not mentioned.
"Most back home have the same line of thought. If you give them anything, they'll find another hundred uses for it before giving it up. We're getting into the habit of breaking things apart and redistributing the individual elements ourselves, but I do not believe so on the scale of efficiency as you."
"As for a return, we do have plenty of radioactive isotopes. Naraemat receives three-hundred eighty millisievert annually because of the elements in its soil. From them, we could share how we are able to isolate many rarer elements from their decay."

Lieutenant Chon looked away for a moment and then sighed. "Reprocessed food is clearly marked as such? You're implying that you reprocess bodies into food? Food that people eat?"
"I'm pretending I didn't hear that.", said First Lady Sorenson.

Salato and leck look a little green. Salato says "I think we will pass up the offer of food here and will eat in our quarters later."
With that she nudges the drone and says to it "back up food to my quarters ASAP"
