The people in Gaureissan looked ethnically a bit different. Less feathers, more nose, and eyes further apart. It almost seemed as though they could barely see in front of them, and that they would have to tilt their heads to the side to inspect something... which they did. It was only a slight, ethnic difference in anatomy, but enough that they had different subtleties than those in Talar, Doringanton and Kohtohkoh. Unlike Kohtohkoh, they actually made an effort to monitor and make countermeasures to minimize drooling. A somewhat dirty but apparently totally culturally-acceptable thing on the mainland continent. Comes with the territory of not having lips. Lipner adored the capital plaza. Which was less a plaza and more of a park... green. Thing. A giant lake in the middle, brown cobblestone-paved roads, and the capitol itself... which was something somewhere between the layout of classical architecture, but purposefully asymmetrical and oramented with some kind of narrow form of modernism which never quite took off back home. From afar, it was a white pillared parthenonical thing. But then the details set in and with every step it became less familiar and more alien. But not in the way anyone would have expected.
The roofs were flat, the pillars as it turned out were indeed, functionally pillars, but were in the form of a geometric tesselating mesh of concrete. The surfaces were not decorated with sculpture or ornament, but rather every other iteration of the waveform lattice on the front of the building would be in a vibrant primary color surrounded by whites, beiges and browns. It was rational, it looked like something that could be done back home but simply wasn't due to taste and context.
"Why the hell are we going to the capitol building? The president is in the Office of the Paltajirate... Over there", said Doron pointing to the narrower building of similar look... but narrower and above the waveform lattice was a block of tiles in basically every shade of red they could come up with. Purposefully not matching.
The arrangement was highly asymmetrical, which was of no surprize. The only symmetries that seemed to really be readily apparent were fairly unimportant and unemphasized ones, or ones which were a result of repetitive iterations of pattern, theme or waveform "cells". It seemed repetitive mathmatical iterations were the 'deus ex architettura' of this culture. "Discovery of fractals must have been like... an event on the scale of pretty much a god showing up on Earth for you guys", said Lipner.
"The computational visualization of what you call the Mandelbrot Set which we here... appropriately enough named: om, started Ghitavism. And it did so during a time when spirituality of any kind was institutionally dismissed as irrationality. That is how powerful it was. I suppose in terms you would be more culturally familiar with, It forced science to give birth to a spirituality.", said Doron
"So there are spiritual devotees here after all.", said Lipner as they went up the steps (not many of them, only like 5)
"Devotionalism here is very different. Devotionalism here is simply reveling in the experience of being one with, and an iteration of whatever mathmatical construct you feel like worshipping at the time. We have to get our religious experiences a different way, because that switch that turns off the wall between ourselves and the rest of the world is broken... or fixed... depending on how you look at it. We have no choice, we have to rationalize this, and we have to rationalize ourselves into ecstasy/nirvana/transcendance if plain stark existentialism just doesn't work for us.", said Doron.
They were already in the main hall, and walking blindly toward the hallway to which they were drawn simply by the funnel-like geometry of the room. Then the security stepped forward, seeing as they were being ignored.
It helped that Doron was there. Seeing as he was unmistakable, given there wasn't anyone else like him. He had effectively been given all-access permissions to many high security places, such as the president's office and other executive institutions, however at a steep price involving certain rights.
Doron spoke quietly with one of them for just a few seconds and the security backed down. They walked through the neck of the funnel, the hallway had rounded corners, which were slightly disorienting, but also created a very unique sensation of walking through a tube undefined by geometry, just a single color.
"There are several security things in place through here... even though I know it probably looks like there aren't. Trust me, there are. I just am not permitted to tell anyone what they are, and where they are. Nothing incredibly advanced though. I will tell you that... just elegantly concealed. Just in case your wondering why it's so easy to get through here. It normally isn't.", said Doron.
The president's room looked like a snapshot from an IKEA catalogue, which was sort of funny. because it was a stereotypical and inadvertantly charicature.
The president was very shy and highly uncomfortable.
"Kiy nar goholka dosh... es.. euh, leika ^dehmatkayu tah malacho gohya\/ dagascha ciw gu hapidakito qo." (^ is a punctuation transliteration to represent the invokation of a "integrated side connotive" a grammatical construct specific to Kohtohkhan which can usually be equated to parenthesis in English.)
I don't know how to talk to thems... (these)... um... (the) cat person... ((I mean I know how to talk with politely to both parties, the calculator lady)) It would have been nice if it the setting were less intimate. Said the president while moving an arm repetitively and purposefully looking away from Doron and the guests.
Doron then said, "Qa hioay"
"make an effort."
Then Doron addressed guests, "Pardon the president, he actually has what you would call Asperger's Syndrome...
so he's kinda really shy around people he doesn't know. And shy around people he does know."
-----
Kam remained deposited himself in the floor that Doron had scared-clear before leaving. Really having a chance to look at some of the things that were going on. Of particular interest, was an enormous poster, which he initially thought was just architectural decoration for the last few days as they were occupying the building's resources to ram the system equasion through the funky computers here. He then started noticing the captions on it, and figured out it was a graphic relating to cosmology. The "Kadu Kaqe" "You are here" caption in the middle eventually gave it away.
It was like a more mathmatically generated, but not exactly fractal, and definately not symmetrical, but also very much not painted Jackson Pollock painting. The use of color was sharply limited to greyscale with the exception of the colored graphics superimposed to give meaning to various parts. A small circle around the center, Another circle around that, about 5 times further out. A red circle which extended a bit further out from that. The outermost was clearly equivalent to hubble-volume (clearly, as being the outermost circle, it would have to be the outermost known something. It would only make sense that it was the observable volume of the universe. The lattice became a lot tighter, and finer resolution closer to the center. Indicating better observation of whatever it is the lattice represents. Because of the scale, it was fairly non-detailed.
Doron's notes referred to it as a Astochastisomatic rendering: 1,000,000 lightyears linear width, 1 lightyear resolution. The picture was only maybe the galaxy and the rural space around it, hardly even the universe. Therefore the outer circle was not at all hubble volume.
Kam realized he was using Haorometric terms already. "Rural universe" being the space between galaxies in Haorometric Unified Cosmology. Which from what he had seen, was Doron's personal way of dismissing string theory "brane" cosmologies. Rather than complex barriers between universes, The HUC not only proposed, but assumed that there was a complete lack of border, and that the 'universe was a totally abstract mathmatical definition of an iteration of matter and energy. And that the 'universe' in the concrete sense, was an infinitely continuous substrate for quantum heuristics. The medium upon which all possible branches of causality, not can, but must play out. seperated from affecting eachother only by something which was controversial even here, a thing called Rational Iteration Standard Infinity. A speed-of-light limitation on the range of a causality effect. Which stated the maximum size of a causality event to be in the neighborhood of the Abstract Volume of a Universe. Of course, the reason for this was arbitrary, but only out of necessity. Doron's only explanation was, "If there were no range limit, then there is nothing to enforce those laws like conservation of energy and, oh also: the branches where the universe collapses would necessitate global nonexistence. Since we exist, then those scenarios must be isolated."
Rational Iteration Standard Infinity also happened to be in the neighborhood of the number where the System Equasion seems to arbitrarily stop every time, no matter the computer. Also the output of the Haderech computational engine. A somewhat non-surprizing conincidence that he and the whole team had known about for a while now.
Although with all of the parallels and coincidences, the attitude here was that trying to decode and totally seize the whole equasion was to chase one's own tail. It was an exercize in futility. He had about fifteen notebooks now filled with observations of the unfamiliar methodologies, about 30 volumes he had picked up from the recommendation of various other scientists and academes.
Even a whole different mechanism of mathmatics. Apparently developed by a long-since deceased discoverer of hyperstochastic fractals, who knew Doron for a short time, and while they apparently fought, he had great influence on him.
The closest component in the sys-eq was a little piece of... actually very well known status having to do with the incorporation of Brownian motion. Usefull for financial and traffic-related heuristic applications.
He was a bit concerned about the coaxial mass limit, seeing as the other team members likely had things they wanted to bring back. He had 27 of these 30 volumes in electronic format.
In the time he was here, he also found out many a trivial thing: Apparently, whenever he referred to the place as Dincota, no one knew what he was talking about. As if the term were actually foreign to him. It took a week before he was actually told by someone that Dincota was a foreign name only ever used in Miokalia or the Fed. The planet's name, in the language of the place, was actually Hcota (Hik-ao-tə). Which made sense, why would dinosaurs associate themselves with greek-derived terms if their language had no contact with greek. The term for dinosaur here was split into two terms. One indicating similar animals not Hcota species (Akagkaqa), and another referring to themselves, (Cotikaqa). Apparently, they consider the ones in Miokalia as Cotikaqa. However reptiles of any other nationality in the Fed were Akagkaqa. Another oddity he noticed was that, when he described Pargalo, the people here would not distinguish between dragon and Akagkaqa. Until he tried to refer to them as similar to Daeronese (which they really weren't. Seeing as the Daeronese were all dark brown and very endothermic) Basing them off of that known physiological platform seemed to do the trick. Except that they lumped them into the same category. When Kam showed them a picture, it started debate. Apparently certain features caused their methods for categorizing much distress. Resulting in shrugging and admission not to call them Akagkaqa. Not that the term was derogatory, but because the term translated to dinosaur, not dragon (although the term literally translates to 'Similar Lizard') The term Pargkaqa seemed appropriate, although it traslated literally into 'bending (in a fluid-like sense) lizard' rather than 'Pargalonian Lizard'. So Kam proposed the term Pargalshirakaqa which literally translated to "Lizard from jurisdictatory unit of Pargalo" What was important was that it at least made sense.

From a article sent back home by Lipner
Behavior of Natural Coaxial Hooks Has Cosmological Implications.
Nature has a way of altering itself constantly. It's just something that happens and often the best we can do is either cause alterations accidentally, or for the purpose of mitigating natural alterations to our environment. Or get out of the way. Thus, there is a fundamental problem with the maintainence of naturally-occuring hooks for coaxial, because nature doesn't care. Naturally occuring hooks, when left unmaintained, appear and disappear over time, they are constantly fluctuating and have a tendency to very rarely accumulate enough staticity to develop a doron-pucon charge of any signifigance. As though nature or the universe are auto-regulating themselves to keep the forces of the cosmos intact. By and large, this is a good thing. For if the whole universe were not at a minimum level of dynamic activity, then it would actually start shrinking back down in a reverse big-bang according to our math. Of course, as it stands right now, the level of dynamic activity in the universe is estimated to be just above the amount where the universe would be shrinking almost unnoticibly slowly to a level where, as confirmed by many cosmologies, the universe is expanding. There is a correlation with pucon charge strength, if one were to take the whole iterational volume of the universe and find an average charge of it.
At +0.054 x 10^-24 dns: the universe is expanding.
Somewhere around +0.063 x 10^-24 dns: the universe is expanding or contracting at an almost undetectable amount. So undetectable, that the actual range for the number is too wide to be conclusive.
And at +0.07 x 10^-24 dns: the universe would be shrinking, as the average pucon charge would be just that much higher among mass that alterations of the speeds of cosmic forces, such as those involved in coaxial, would be commonplace and increasingly extreme.
Just for fun, at +0.09 x 10^-24 dns: the speed of light would be so high that black holes would no longer be black. (Assuming they would behave even similarly in an environment when the average pucon-charge that mass carries is +2.3dns.)
And at a theoretical +1 x 10^-24 dns: the speed of light, along with that of all other cosmic forces would be infinite, and the volume of the universe would be zero. As the average pucon charge of mass in the universe would be +6 dns.
This has a conflict though, because if the volume is zero, and the average charge carried by the mass is +6 dns. Then how is it that the average charge of everything in the volume is 1 x 10^-24?
An international team of researchers have finally proposed an answer in the form of an alteration of the 'borderless, repeating' universe cosmology. Their answer is: the subject universe would have collapsed into another one, and thus, anything beyond 1 x 10^-24 dns average would actually be referring to things which were once part of the collapsed subject universe, that are now technically part of the parent universe. Which supports the theory that universes "bubble off of" one an other. By illustrating the process in reverse.
It also suggests that there may be a point, a level of entropy that once a universe reaches, it subdivides or "bubbles-off" an additional one. Wether or not this is after a point where that universe has reached "heat death" is not conclusive. Since at this point, correlation of pucon charge and a theoretical heat-death is not really clear or even known to exist. Some Haorometrics theorists believe that if the universe were magnitudes bigger than the size it was now in volume, but equal in mass, then pucons would become a different particle with different properties, and thus subject to a different set of rules which are at this point, completely unobservable due to total lack of testability. Some others believe that at a negative average pucon charge carried by mass of -6, the forces of the universe travel at infinite speed, carry infinite momentum, but when an event occurs, emissions from that event will never reach anything else due to infinite distance between particles with mass. Which implies zero kinetic energy, which sounds like heat-death.
Doron once said in a long, very heavy volume about coaxial: "In theoretical Haorometrics, both 'space' as well as 'time' are things which herald cosmic entropy. 'Time', because it gives 'Space' the time to become so spacious that cosmic forces don't even have the time to traverse the enormous space to impart energy. Thus 100% of the energy in the universe is busy traveling an infinite path, to which there is nothing along the way and a destination which is infinitely distant. The entire concept of time is no longer existent because this scenario would mean that the universe is effectively frozen, and basically everything thing in it: would be space."
More recently, he said: "The way to deal with cosmic entropy in the future will be to find ways to acquire: more time, and less space, cosmically speaking."

Lipner's Twitter Blog
Day 1
The flight plan: First, we leave from Gaureissan to KHIA, then from KHIA to Port Astuya on Malychedar. Which I just assumed Ryuqi would know everything about but as it turns out, she doesn't. So we will be doing that segment of the trip without any expert or guide, which shouldn't be a problem, since we will only be there for 4 hours at most. Then it's back home.
We're flying through rain, I am anticipating something trully cool looking to happen as we compress through on the jump.
It was too hard to tell, same thing happened as last time: It got cloudy, then the light faded out as the photons slowed down on the outside of the plane inside the linearized space.
We are once again inside a plane fitted with so much stuff, it reduces the cabin space by half, flying through a flat-black emptiness darker than outer space. I wonder what the temperature out there is.
The pilot has just said, "Ladies and gentlecritters, we have now reached our cruising altitude of unknown value at a speed of One hundred quadrillion freaking knots. If you look out the right side of the craft you will see absolutely nothing since no light can actually reach us in this linearized state. Out the left window you also see absolutely nothing for the very same reason. The current weather at Astuya Port on Malychedar is not currently availible at this time since radio is also not accessible to us in this state. But it's probably going to be brutally sunny, and around 105 degrees Fahrenheit or something when we land." I think the pilots that do this acquire a minimum level of wry humor about announcing things. I know the stewardess' somewhat candid explanation of how the emergency exits have been sealed and are thus unusable during the cruising stage because, as she said, "If you open that door and go outside, nobody actually knows what would happen. You could fall off, you could vanish, your torso could appear in the floor while your head is in your seat, and a hand on the wing. You could catch fire. You could explode. A giant whale could suddenly appear nearby and then, shortly before meeting it's gravitational doom, it would contemplate making friends with the ground. You know the deal."
Every time we come out of coaxial, the plane is upside-down and has to right itself. This pilot was a little slow about it though, and I started to fall up out of my seat before he flicked up around upright. This happens every time.
And now we're over Malychedar. We just did 1005 Lightyears in 8 hours. It's very weird how the distance has little correlation with the time of these flights (the trip to get to Hcota was 250 lightyears and it took 12 hours), what seems to determine the time is actually the energy consumption, which is dictated by the density between the points. Which is why they did the layover like this: because it takes less energy. The whole thing is pretty strange, it's like one of those weird subtleties that would be seen through a super powerful telescope which would hint at some weird supermacro-scale physics... except we were just IN one those weird subtleties.
Our 'layover' got delayed because of mechanical problems. Ironic how it would seem that with how junky some places around here are, somewhere in there they'd be able to pull whatever the part is out of somewhere and just patch it up and send it home. But I suppose this is somewhat similar to how you can't really find a quadrupole superconducting magnet with liquid gas cooling channels in your local dump.
I was just informed the perpetrator is a piece called a Compact Concentric Spiral Hagrammeter. It's basically a coil of some semiconductive material which as physical motion is applied to it, it generates striations based on something having to do with doron charge. It drives some instrument in the thing. And it's broke.
Specifically, the solenoid that applies the motion pushed the center piece of it out, but then failed to retract, then it pulled back too fast on reset and turned the tight coil of the thing into a huge mess of unwound semiconductive tape-like stuff.
The Malych are horrible at hospitality, but not particularly nasty. Sana yelled at one when trying to figure out if anything would cost us money, (since arrival at this airport, communication has been a compete disaster.) and the thing actually cowered away like beaten animal.
Doron has no idea how to talk to some of these people. And he acts either like he does, or that he doesn't care.
5 hours in dry, ozone-smelling Astuya Airport or whatever the pilot said. There's no food court, there's vending machines which pop out generic food with oddly consistent texture and little flavor. The vending machines are not sentient, whew. Where the hell is that damn Hagrammeter? Can't we just grab the pieces and wind the stupid thing back up?
Somebody did this on purpose.
Day 1.5
I have just become aware that the days here are 20 hours long, which is quite disorienting after spending so much time on Hcota which has 36 hour days, which was disorienting in it's own way. The sun is going down, and I'm starting to wonder if this actually kinda dead-looking planet has enough atmosphere to keep the background space-radiation from cooking us alive. Despite the closest source of those rays having been beating down on us since arrival and only now beginning to fall behind the horizon.
We have a hotel! Good Glorvan we have a hotel!
I started getting used to the weird lack-of-eye-contact thing on Hcota. The Malych are far worse about it. They don't look at you with three eyes, and then stare at you with one. For some reason, a lot of these people seriously seem to expect that we're about to beat the shit out of them, and they're a hair-trigger from dashing away like a spooked wild animal. It's caused me to wonder if it's the government here making people so jumpy. I figure if there is some scary big-brother then, my posting this to my computer through my phone, which is going through their network hardware, would be censored or invoke some agency.
Nothing happened yet.
Post is still here.
Damn
Ryuqi doesn't know anything. She's not actually from here natively and she says that the folks here are going to be different than those back home.
They don't get timid with Ryuqi. She is most certainly the designated spokescritter of this group now.
Day 2
Bed smells really bad. I don't know what it is. It's clean, but it smells bad. Terrible smelling fragrance in the detergent maybe?
Hospitality at the hotel started chilling out some in regards to us. Having Ryuqi do the bulk of the talking seems to have thrown some switch, they are no longer deathly afraid of us. This is progress.
The Hotel food people have absolutely no concept of what milk is. Figures.
I was just informed that about 75% of the looks we were getting from what we thought were timid and scared hospitality critters here was actually intrigue, not fear. It seems we were put into a suite oriented towards getting 'freaky'. This explains a few things about the room which I, at least thought were only aesthetic. They were wondering what all of us bags of mostly water were doing here.. with... or to Ryuqi, I'm sure.
I think that's kinda funny
Apparently the distinctively non-laundrylike smell of the detergent they use on all the linens is on purpose and specific to this room. I initially said, in response to this, "I don't want to know." But the smart-ass dogbox at the front desk told me anyway. It's basically pheromones.
Where the hell is that damn hagrammeter?
It's actually noon here, but on Hcota, it would still be morning. This is the 400th involuntary stretch/yawn today.
Sana won't talk to me after he was a total douche-and-a-half about my privacy at the Malychotel.
The airport people are a lot nicer today. Actually very disarming.
We're on the plane, New Hagrammeter works now, and I just realized that I don't think we ever actually paid anything while here. I really hope there isn't some little robodragon running out to the tarmac waving a bill in the air as the plane starts taxiing to take-off.
Pilot says that the reason why we shouldn't swim in any ocean here, (which I forgot to attempt), is because it has an astronomical amount of mineral salt in it, enough to make someone sick from extended contact. I hear the undersea diving wildlife-watching scene here is pretty sparse. My initial reaction was, "man, you guys really killed the shit out of this place."
Apparently blaming Malychedar's lack of greenery and fish is the fastest method to making these people suddenly very defensive. I guess they actually 'inherited' this world in this state, and they do tend to lean towards saying it was actually worse when they got it. And they place the blame soley on the ancient people who actually made them.
Based on what I've seen out the window, I think I'll beleive them. There is evidence of two civilizations from up here. One of them is recent, and clearly theirs. The other doesn't appear to be around anymore, and it's mostly ruins, and they do seem to be built for a completely different climate and species.
I don't think I really care. I still like Ryuqi even if she is actually a planet-burning monster.
I wonder who bought the new Hagrammeter.
Day 3
Earth-Terra-S3-Whatever you want to call it. It's really weird to come home. We left Hcota at 30:21, Got to Malychedar at 14:02, Left Malychedar the next day at 15:38. Then arrived here... the "same day"(to our perspective) at 1:34am. Kinda feels like we've been traveling through time. I have a headache.
Hcota had the 36 hour days. Which Just. Didn't. End... Then Malychedar had these tiny 20 hour days which went by just quickly enough that you noticed it. And now we're back to 24.
Groovy hat-wearing Itchal's ghost, I'm tired.
I have discovered a whole new magnitude of tiredness. That means I get to name it, right? I call it: bfflllrgnnnhhhhh.
I know there was a flight or something involved. But I actually don't remember how I got to Arx again. Apparently everyone else is here now too. Coaxial-lag has proven to be astonishingly potent.

Post by The Union of Tinis on Mar 19, 2009 4:29:04 GMT -5
A number of months later...
----
"Lipner testified today in the case of The People of Tinis vs. Yerzok. Lipner and his common law mate, Ryuqi, were present during the Tower Heaven Stone incident and assisted in resolving that crisis. Court reporters explained after today's hearing that the prosecution and defense grilled the mathematician for hours. One of the biggest sticking points that the defense has been attempting to exploit in the incident was the difference between the records provided by the military office and the recording provided by Ryuqi. Lipner testified to the authenticity of Ryuqi's account. Though if the defense were to clear Yerzok of any wrong doing in the incident, it would likely not prevent establishment of wrong doing in several dozen other areas. However, the defense likely feels that if Yerzok is found guilty of several particular crimes, including the one involving the heaven stone, that the death penalty is likely. The death penalty has only been used in Tinis on five occasions."
Kam turned off the TV and sat back.
"I was watching that!" said Sana half heartedly.
"Well, want me to put it back on?"
"Only if they talk about us," said the rabbit.
"Doubtful. Its been months since we've made any progress. Our skeleton friend seems likely to run off any day now."
Sana nodded. "Well, maybe we should get back to Yangno then?"
Kam shrugged. Yangno had gone back to the national accelerator labs shortly after they had gotten back. But a few days previous had e-mail a request for the team to visit Accelerator Division Headquarters. Lots about the system equation crew there being hyper active about the results of the first collisions. The Tinisian Particle Blaster (TPB to most) as the accelerator had recently been dubbed, had performed its first successful tests over a year ago and had recently begun full operations, beating out their nearest planet side competition at the LHC.
"Sure, why not."
Sana stretched. "Coming to bed?"
"Merf, uh, yeah."
------
The train ride was for the most part inconsequential for the mathematicians. Kam, Lipner, Sana, Ryuqi, and Doron, despite being comfortable with the ride, were quite the spectacle to the other passengers. The train left Arx early in the morning from an underground station. Eventually it popped out near the outskirts of the city proper in the middle of the 'construction ring', the point where buildings were constantly going up, even if they wouldn't be used for a year or more. The train took a fairly circular path between the city and the distant channel ring that covered the outer ring of the TPB. Though a straight path would of been faster, the train was meant to service more than just the two points.
The station on the far end was a post-modern affair built a few hundred yards from the A.D. Headquarters. The group was quietly chatting about the general absurdity of applying the idea of a Klein Bottle to sociology when they left the station. This conversation was interrupted however when Kam suddenly stopped and stared at the building that had just come into view.
"What's wrong?" asked Doron, the first to notice the skunk's reaction.
"I... I don't know. I feel like I've seen this place before."
Doron looked back at the building before them. It consisted of two sides made entirely of concrete sweeping up from either side until they were nearly parallel half way up the building. Between was glas windows.
"It does seem familiar," replied the absurdity. "Maybe we've seen it in a picture somewhere? But that wouldn't..."
Kam composed himself. "Don't worry, yeah, picture. Let's go."
The group walked the sidewalk towards the building. Every step Kam felt a little more unsettled. They came to the front of the structure and scaled the steps. The moment they entered the door into the massive atrium between the two concrete halves of the building Kam stopped again.
"I've seen this place filled with bones," he stated.
The group turned to him.
Sana hugged him, "What is wrong Kam?"
"The Paxisphere showed me this place. Three different visions of it. The architecture was exactly the same. The first was a vision of a crowd in togas, and a speaker talking about triumph. The second was of a party with heavy metal. The third was of this place filled with bones and death. I..."
"Hey there's everyone!" said Yangno as he sauntered up. "Come on now, I got lots to show you!"
Sana whispered into Kam's ear, "We'll discuss this later, ok?"
"Sure."
-----
"What am I looking at?" asked Doron.
"This, my boney friend, is a new term to the system equation," replied Yangno.
"Say what?" asked Lipner skeptically.
Yangno nodded, ears a perked happily. "See, while I was off world traveling with you folks, I learned a bit about alternative detector geometries, things to look for, ect ect. But you knew that. The trick was, getting lucky really. And finding a few blasted crazy smart people here whom could turn my idea into reality."
"Get to the point please," said Doron.
"As you might be aware, due to the incident with the PDS intelligence simulator device and the heaven stone, the city of Arx was temporarily super charged with pucons. But that wasn't the only thing that was generated in that mess. The interaction of the pucon pulse thing and the co-ax hooks around the city and the then incomplete TPB created a resonant condition that resulted in a very brief tightening of the effective value of h-bar."
The mathematicians were all pondering the whys and implications of this as Yangno took a breath and sipped from his mug.
"Well!" he went on. "Thankfully this only applied to everything inside the accelerator. Mostly. The pattern of the ring, with the pucon blast right at its center, was able to contain the secondary effect. So for the entire city and the surrounding area, there was the hypothesized 'temporary entropy reduction' which I think Kam's former grad student has been working on. But no one was really looking for it at the time so we missed it right? Wrong!"
"Yangno, have you been drinking?" asked Ryuqi half kidding.
"Yes actually, but that's beside the point!" Pointing back at the big screen. "This is the output of a detector array. I borrowed the design from some of the folks at the big equator set up and made some modification and duplicated it several times. And then some more so I could have more than one testing point. Well, we started up the beam last month and have been taking data at the collisions points. This detector here is at one of those. See, nothing. But this one, at the point between collision points is going crazy. And not uniformly either. See, one side is obviously giving better statistics than the other!"
"Um..." said Kam, "We're not experimentalists... well mostly not experimentalists. Clarity?"
"He means that the randomness, the background, is not as strong on one side of the ring from the other. It would seem either than there is a horrifically large pucon source still in Arx, there was a hook right next to the ring, or a discontinuity between the outside and inside of the ring in the more general pucon field."
Doron had figured out where this was going. Kam and Sana soon followed, as did Lipner and Ryuqi.
Yangno just grinned as their minds churned.
"So," said Lipner. "A bunch of magnets, unpowered magnets, generated a barrier to patternization pulses?"
"And still does. The entropy reduction pulse hit the magnets and got reflected. Most of it escaped up or down of course, but enough of it is still trapped that it slowly has evened out and has sort of created a vacuum energy plateau over the entire city."
"Which is bad," said Lipner. "Thankfully its not a vacuum energy plateau in the psudo-classic sense. Else it would collapse right now and explode, destroying half this planet."
Yangno nodded. "But it is collapsing. Just very slowly. The energy however is not being radiated in any manner than we can detect."
Sana then asked, "Neutrinos?"
"Maybe, but that would of tipped off our neutrino experiments from the get go as they were doing background tests during the incident. This may be something we have never seen before. Something that no one has pulled out of the system equation yet. Or maybe its something that isn't in there!"
Doron nodded, "Cool. Do they allow smoking in this building. I wouldn't want Kam's counter part here to have a coronary."
-----
On the shaded side of the building the group gathered while Doron smoked.
"I must say that we're going to have to pour over your data," said Kam.
"Our sys-eq team is already on it. They'll be giving a presentation this afternoon if you'd like to attend, explaining every single step," said Yangno.
"Kind of random question, Yangno, but who designed this building?"
Yangno shrugged. "I think the design is based off a building at a previous generation accelerator. Ours is just taller and bigger."
"Good old steal and improve, eh?" joked Sana. She glanced at Kam whom was clearly not looking at anyone here, or even anything where they were. "Sure Yangno?"
"Yep, well as sure as I can ever be, which isn't much."
"Kam's hallucinations aside," said Doron finally. "I think I might need to pick apart their presentation. Questions are allowed." The statement of this, as opposed to a question, wasn't missed by Yangno.
"Uhh, of course. That was the plan."
"And I hope to what ever deity you might worship that someone tries to use effective black-holes in their explanation as that's always a fun one to talk about, even when they're right."
"Ok, I'll let them know you feel that way."
"And..."
"Hey guys," said Kam, interrupting Doron playing with the scientist. "I got a letter today. It was kind of weird."
"You are full of weird today," said Lipner.
"From someone named Brother Onk in Pargalo. Requesting on behalf of the Pargalo historic something or other a system equation expert to go to Pargalo for an archeological dig. Know where we could find one?"
The group looked around.
"Not here," said Lipner. "At least one that willing to go to that shit hole."
Sana shrugged. "Maybe after we figure out what Yangno's pucon distribution means I'll book tickets."
Kam looked at Sana concerned. He had hopped bringing it up at such a moment would of meant that the subject got dropped quickly. But... now the lady whom he had finally discovered was possibly taking the offer up.
"Neat, you done Doron?" said Yangno whom had just become aware at what Doron was smoking and thus getting a little nervous.
"Not yet jack ass."

At 3:48 AM, in the stairwell of a basement in the Arx Tower, Ms Nekoguchi was heading up to the main lobby to deliver some papers to be faxed out to a campus. As she passed the second landing of the stairwell, she felt a sudden decrease in temperature and an difficult to describe impression of something came to her mind. The chill left just as quickly as it came, as she stepped onto the landing, but the bizzare sensations were not finished. As she stumbled a bit when for a moment, her entire perception of time was thrown off. Had she been standing there on the landing for minutes or hours? She thought she might be sick. That her head was swimming. But from what. For a fraction of a second, almost barely noticible, she thought she saw a grey bear and a pile of boxes. She dismissed it as a subtle halluination, though the thought lingered as she continued up the stairs.
She didn't see the half-of-a-cellphone inexplicably appear and then slide out of existence in the same stairwell a minute later.
The next day, Ryuqi came in to the tower, eager to see Lipner again at the lobby and maybe say hi to some of the people who make the some of the resources possible for this grand quest she has been a part of. It was a busy place, and in the noise of the bustle, Ryuqi almost didn't notice an internal indicator. It was her Pucostatic Dosimeter. It was on an unusually high reading.
She looked around, and couldn't figure what would cause that, but did remember the vacuum-plateau observation from before, and almost dismissed it as a side-effect of that.
Except as she passed an office full of files, copy and fax machines and file cabinets, her dosimeter read solidly anomalous levels of pucon charge. She looked at the doorway and wished that there were some way she could just 'see' what was going on here. Something was going on around here. It was as if there were a very loud sound, extremely loud, but just outside of the audible range so that one could not actually hear it, except the tactile sensation suggests it's existence. But it wasn't a sound. It was a potential, or a charge.
It was just a copy room, but the level was still high. "Excuse me, this is going to sound strange, but are they running anything downstairs today. I can't hear hardly anything, with this interference", she made up the last part to make the question seem less awkward to the dog at the copy machine.
"I don't think so. They're doing some work on the plumbing and air system down there today, so nothing's running.", he said.
Ryuqi turned around but then moved out of the way as a female cat came into the side-office quickly. She didn't see Ryuqi until she picked up a file folder next to the fax and looked up.
"Pardon, I didn't see you... there?", she said, although a bit confused. She vaguely remembered something that looked like Ryuqi from earlier, but not exactly sure what.
The file folder she was holding sent Ryuqi's dosimeter up another substantial amount. "Oh, this might sound strange, but could I see that?", asked Ryuqi.
"O.. k. They're procurement orders... Uh. why?", Ms. Nekoguchi asked.
Ryuqi took a hold of the folder, and her pucostatic dosimeter went from high anomalous level to extremely high.
"Hm. I could have sworn something weird just happened, but I don't know how to describe it.", said Ryuqi.
"Welcome to my world, just this morning that happened to me on the stairs. I thought I saw a grey bear and a pile of boxes for just an instant, and I got all light-headed.
And another thing. I heard from the security people that one of the cameras flipped-out with the colors for a couple of seconds in that stairwell. It's like there's a ghost or something.", she said.
"Whoa, awesome. That would explain the light flickering we've been having.", said the dog who was finishing at the copy machine.
-----
*chomp* Doron shoved the entire cigarette into his mouth and dealt with his bizzare nutritional needs quickly in that manner. "Alright. alright", he said after mulling over the thought of going to Pargalo in regards to a mystery, "I should go too. To Pargalo. It's a trip, and it's a place to see. You never know when you'll stumble and meet face-first into a giant slab of raw insight. I suppose."
"Are you serious?", Kam asked, completely taken aback by this response from Doron of all people.
"Basically.", he said, "We've been all over the technicalities of this body of work for so long, I frankly think it would be at least interesting to experience some of the context of it's origins, historically."
"This is kind of sudden.", said Lipner.
Doron jammed two cigarettes straight into his mouth, he was devouring them at a higher rate than normal, something was bothering him. "Well, we're going to have to also make sure that Arx as we know it doesn't vanish while we're gone.", he popped another one in, "Hmmm".
His pack of cigarettes was empty, "uh. moment.", he said.
He walked down a hallway for a while, searching for something, and at the same time, trying to figure out what was happening with him. He stopped by an open door to an empty office and found a canister full of standard pens, he picked them up, analysed them and decided that they didn't have enough energy denisty. Then he got into a supply closet, picking up various jugs of fluids. Again, searching for something with sufficient energy density. He decided that he should open a private log with his Malych equipment.
> Searching for a substance with the most organic matter-convertible-to-energy density I can find. > Something is wrong, I've felt cold, and by felt, actually felt, not sensed. > Arx was literally crackling with pucon charge when we left, but not in the way which is safe. > There are no coherent hooks formed in that scenario, this is not a conventional situation. There > are other things going on here. I've never seen pucons build up like a static charge over such a > large area. I suspect there is more to this than I can figure out, and it kinda scares the fuck > out of me. > This might be why my energy intake needs have increased.
Doron stood over a nearly full garbage can, looking around nervously, he closed the door to the room and then proceded to consume it in a manner which he generally keeps to himself.
He started glowing and then stretched his entire head around the top of the can. As though his bones and mechanical parts were made of highly elastic rubber. Though they retained their hardness, this paradoxical state was something he often kept private, Using an exotic force and causing exotic matter. His entire body fit around the trashcan in this manner, and then he glowed brighter. Being aware of his surroundings, and trying to be discreet, he forced the meal down by degenerating his lattice down to sub-hadron level, thus the glow dimmed. He would have been panting and fatigued if he had the biological structures to do so, this kind of operation was in a way, similar to a snake swallowing something whole. Worried that the others might start wondering where he went, and start looking for him, he expedited the transition to the next stage. The meal began to collapse inside him, and as this started, he had to go from stretching to contain the trashcan, to resisting an extreme reduction in pressure. "1. 2. 3", he said as he strained. There was no more glowing, in fact, this process which required another level of matter degeneration beyond what he used to before, actually sucked in light. "4. Five.... huhhhhhhh... holy shit", he gasped, finally releasing with a sigh as the fuzzy ball of contained exotic matter inside him released him from the tight grip and diffused.
He continued his mental note:
> I found a trash can and it seems to have satisfied the hunger. > Although I should be carefull about eating such large things, as at that size, > The Acquisition Process is quite a bit more conspicuous, alarming and also straining. > I've never failed to do this process before, but I fear that if I were to fail during that > process, due to consuming something too massive, I may collapse into it as well, and if that happens, I assume it is possible > that it would just continue since I wouldn't exist to contain it. > This is the great danger in being physically capable of devouring yourself. > I should stop eating things that are bigger than my head.
He then left the room, which was basically undisturbed, except missing the large garbage bin. And rejoined the rest of the group.

"I haven't seen you much," said Sana to Lipner. "Ryuqi said you had been working in the tower?"
The group was already on their way to the near by collision hall as Doron was hurriedly trying to catch up from down the hall.
"Yeah, they've had me working on deciphering the extra solar emission spectrum from the Crystal Eye. Over half of it is simply a new type of ultra low frequency radio emissions coming off the solar to interstellar medium bow shock. Stuff that apparently gets scattered by the solar wind under two astronomical units. Strange stuff. But the rest is a tad unusual. Haven't been able to figure it out yet. Might need to borrow a super computer to even get it into system equation ready data."
"So where we headed?" asked Doron as he got to the back of the pack.
"Experimental Hall Vo. Its in the basement and over a ways in the beam line. Thought you folks might want to have a look at the pucon set up there to double check my work."
They had gotten to the stairs leading down when Doron decided to ask Kam a question. "Do you think you're the only one who got a letter like that?"
"No idea. They were pretty vague about anything like that. Actually there were no details like that."
"I'd hate to show up and be one out of a hundred competing to work with this yahoo. At least it would mean we could wander off and figure things out for our own."
"True. But really I have no clue what you'll be running into up there. I'm just amazed they have a postal system. The postage mark looked authentic."
"Unless someone is trying to make snail mail spam," commented Ryuqi.
The tour of the experimental hall was mostly uneventful. Yangno's out right theft of the designs was noted by all, right down to a few minor design flaws of the original. A few jokes were exchanged about using his imagination in the future on such things. No sense it getting ahead by not improving on a design.
"I hear that one grad student has been all sorts of doom and gloom of late," said Lipner during brunch soon after.
"Sure has been. Entropodic pulsing is not my specialty," said Kam. "But I read his papers. At least some folks have been doing some organizing since the initial scare. Decreases the likely hood of it happening. Though I would love to see the KZ gate."
"Didn't one of his papers suggest that there were signs in the observatories that a fourth space time juncture type was involved?" asked Sana.
"Yes, but no one is saying who it might be. Could be the Erenmore gate to their moon for all we know. Its type didn't help in locking down its location apparently, at least as far as the old system equation could tell." Kam bit the head off a fried beetle. "But I have this weird feeling that before to long every country will be sending off space vehicles beyond the moon via ten different methods. Will be interesting to see which ones end up being economically viable. I might run the numbers tonight. If I find anything neat I'll let everyone know."
The group was sitting at a table on the ground floor at the far back, effectively under the terrace structure.
"You do tend to do lots of sims like that," commented Ryuqi.
Kam glanced around briefly and shuddered. "Yeah, kind of a hobby. Its not a sure fire way of predicting the future, but does help one get a grasp of the landscape of the now. And what could be based on that. Did you know that I figured that there was likely a high level mole in the Tinisian government well before all hell broke loose?" The question was obviously spat out to distract the skunk.
Sana nodded at this, "I think I recall you mentioning that."
"That is a little weird," said Lipner. "But you've always been better at inputting socio-political parameters."
"I think I might have to call bullshit," announced Doron.
"Pardon?" asked Kam.
"You didn't predict what happened, just that there was a mole. That doesn't mean you figured out that it was Yerzok. It could be that Krel person for all we know if there is one. Correlation does not equate to cause."
Kam nodded. "Very true." Being humbled didn't put the skunk at ease. Memories of his visions danced at the back of his head all meal.

"Although", Ryuqi said to Kam's defense, "Economic simulations based on many of the same analytical framework as those socio-macro sims that predicted the mole, also pretty much generally predicted international economic troubles too. And while they all predicted various different things depending on the model used, it was certainly much more accurate and precise than the alternative. Which for that particular thing, economics, the alternative was a balding man throwing small plush animals like footballs from between his legs and a box full of parrots."
Kam, "Foggy crystal ball, but crystal ball nonetheless. Moving on. We have things to do."
As it seemed the lunch was coming to an end, Ryuqi mentioned, "I could have sworn you used to be taller", she said to Doron. Who ignored it and waved it off.

FURtean Times: Weird News
The Arx Hum In the last two years, more people in Arx are hearing a sound of unknown source similar to the Taos and Bristol Hums.
Many have described it as a drone, a buzz or slight rumble. But yet the Arx Hum is a phenomenon which is too difficult to experimentally detect, but so widespread that it demands explanation. "It changes throughout the day, sometimes it's more of a quiet crackling, like static, it seems to be that way when the humidity is higher.", says a medical audiologist who experiences the hum and has found that most hum sufferers are not suffering from what would seem to be the most likely biological abnormalities, such as tinnitis (ear-ringing). "When the humidity is low, it becomes a more broad sound, but there is a great deal of subtlety. It is definately more prominent at night.", she says, after noticing the link between time, season, weather and the hum. Most studying the Hum agree that there is a definate correlation between time of day, weather factors and even time of year and various changes people describe in the Hum. This has caused this otherwise fringe-like phenomena to become more of a scientific curiosity over the last couple of years.
New explanations Many possible explanations have been floated about for a while now, but recently scientists at a Telephasing Workshop in Tevotri have proposed the possibility that the hum may be a result of a widespread Frey Effect, or Microwave Auditory Effect where a sound is preceived by someone due to electromagnetic stimulation of the hearing anatomy. The result may be the perception of sound when there is in fact no actual sound coming from the environment. This could be an as-yet unknown or underanticipated side effect from the use of the PDS system, but it's localization on Arx is still unexplained if it is the PDS. TTW scientists first became involved with this situation when they determined that there could be a correlation between The Hum and the current unexplained "homogenous subcarruthian sheeting" effect taking place in the upper atmosphere around the same place which has been interfering with the workshop's telephasing projects which gather data from a very long distance by detecting and analyzing short instances of natually-occouring entanglement between two extremely distant locations.

[[[OOC: *takes defibulators to this thread and tries to jump start it]]]]
[[[OOC:
For the sake of making this thread functional again, I'm going to try to reconcile some of the things in this thread with the January 2010 Retcon so they work with the current situation:
This is also to make it more easily approachable for newcomers to jump in.
Notes on changes to this thread from the January 2010 Retcon:
RE: the EoE team's interplanetary trip to Hcota and the layover in Malychedar All referrences to the planet 'Hcota' in this thread no longer refer to a seperate planet, but refer to locations by the same names on the island of Talarine.
RE: The Dorringanton Equatorial Pucon Accelerator Is changed to now being a huge simulation computer system, rather than an actual accelerator. Although if somebody is interested in having a particle accelerator big enough to accelerate ultrarare, tacheyon-like* massless particles which are 800,000 times the diameter of a hydrogen nucleus, please say so! (You'd need an accelerator of at least the circumference of a planet in size due to the physical volume of the particle)
RE: The supertransactinide synthetic element Aotogehtalium Is now element number 134, not 117. Since apparently element number 117 has actually been synthesized in real life and does not appear to have the same properties as the fictitious, metastable Aotogehtalium.
RE: The Haderech Cosmological Computer Is now a theoretical model or concept at this point rather than an actual mysterious machine which was recovered from an archaelogical expedition.
RE: Coaxial/Axial drive (A form of FTL) Is not in common, widespread use as it was before retcon. However: it is an experimental device which is nearing a point of feasibility**.
RE: System Equasion Folios The Ciatan copy of the second and/or third folios of the Tinisian System Equasion wasn't copied and sneaked-out by Rebbeckah Sparhow. These items were acquired from good old fashioned research.
*Tacheyon-like = based on the theory that tacheyons are particles which can only travel above the speed of light and cannot actually decelerate to the speed of light. I say tacheyon-like because these particles need not be tacheyons in name or function.
** The thing works but there are some details and methodology aspects which are still being refined. Also: there are issues in regards to safety which are not completely understood.
Special Note I'm going to post a glossary of pseudoscience terminology I've either made up or used in this thread so far. Tinis: I suggest you do the same. It will make for an easy reference and make these this thread more accessible.

OOC: Tinis' go at some definitions and results of the ret-con
RE: Heaven Stones - As Ciata is no longer in continuity, these things are now artifacts dug up in Tinis. The only previous 'successful' usage of them before the events in the mini-PDS system resulted in someone having one attached to the nervous system of a person. The result was not recorded due to strange interference and the deaths of several researchers before the person who used it was killed by security officers. It is known to be an semi-organic processing device capable of accessing aspects of the system equation. Other than that, they seem like fancy crystalline rocks.
RE: Pattern Defense System (National) - Post retcon it has never actually been use other than to create the bubble in space above Tinis due to the possible dangers involved. Even then, the demonstration resulted in a number of very odd experiments and the like yielding strange results. The Pattern Defense System is described in more detail in the write up for Tinis
RE: Pattern Defense System (mini) - Post retcon it was never actually fully activated, but only activated to the point before the barrier would of appeared. However, if the heaven stone had been put in place the plan was to push for full activation. And even with only partial activation strange things happened.
RE: The Folios of Genius - Keeping these because they're neat. #1 is still the basic System Equation. #2 is the more complete System Equation. #3 is explanation and attempts to figure out the variables of the system equation. About half way through #3 the writing devolves a bit and then becomes crisp in explanations of ceremonial procedures with only mild hints at which each one is for. A few don't give any explanation but do include dire warnings for what will happen if the seemingly random ceremonies and procedures are not done to the letter. Among these is the one likely used by the 5th house in the civil war, though which one is not clear.
RE: The Arx Particle Accelerator - Also keeping this around. They were competing with the LHC for getting to 5 Tera-electron volts but have had a numerous problems.
RE: The System Equation - The System Equation is a very long, very complex equation that upon first glance looks impossible to solve. However, upon providing assumptions for various parameters and variables, it simplifies into numerous other equations that combined together produce bits of math that explain things like the behavior of gases, migration patterns of birds, optimal fluid flows in a sewer system, the likely hood of election outcomes, relativistic field theories, and all sorts of useful things. However, figuring out what the variables involved even mean is an almost impossible task, let alone what the values of the constants are. So since the simplified version got released as general knowledge in Tinis, its taken decades to even pin down a few of the variables. It wasn't until the advent of large mainframes in Tinis that likely values for all the variables was figured which is how the thread started. But a more complete System Equation was present in folio #2 and it is only now being figured out at all. Then there's the ultra complete System Equation generated by interactions with the Praxisphere. [miokalia should talk about that a bit]
[might add more later as I remember things and figure stuff out]

Pseudo-physics termsIn the fictitious field of Haorology: The Doronic Tachyonic Duality Cycle (DTDC)A cyclical particle interaction caused by the Sparhow-Ridley Force. The cycle was discovered by Hycachita Doron and demonstrated the effect of the "unstable C" theory he proposed. Which stated that the speed of light was inconsistent throughout the universe. Carruthian FieldEssentially: a field or spatial volume in which time appears to occur at a different rate to outside observers. These fields are also a mechanism of causality resolution that are induced by Obstructed Stochatons. Sparhow-Ridley ForceA possibly fundamental force which causes haoroaffective matter with identical properties to be attracted to eachother and behave as though they are the same object existing in two places at once. It has been theorized that quantum entanglement is the action of this force at a much smaller scale and lower energy than it is usually observed. At the macro scale, this force is known to act on objects at much faster than the speed of light, and has been theorized as the primary mechanism of matter interaction at the outermost edges of the universe. It was first suggested by eccentric scientist Beckah Sparhow in her model of how different regions of the universe may experience different constants and forces. It was first observed by Pxnawah Ridley in observation of the phenomena of spontaneous Harino attraction (later known to be related to the Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle) HaoroaffectiveThe property of something having repetition or pattern-defined properties which can cause it to be effected by the Sparhow-Ridley force. The name "Haoro" meaning: invokation of force by pattern, a term which originally had to do with Kohtohkhan occult folklore, but came into use after the discovery of the Sparhow-Ridley force. Although it was first coined by Beckah Sparhow in her description of this theoretical force. Particle definitionsHarinosA Haoroaffective particle which is composed of a magnetic monopole 'core' surrounded by shell composed of a lattice of an unknown particle bound together by the Weak nuclear force. They are described and classified by size, spin and pattern. They were theorized by nuclear physicist, Boltz Hariyamo as an explanation for why magnetic monopoles were unobservable. They are approximately 100,000 times the diameter of a proton and are massless. They exhibit odd interactions with photons, and when in a spin state of 0, they exhibit the bizzare behavior of electrotransparency, rendering them invisible to electron microscopy. However when they are excited into a spin state of |n>0|, they will refract and reflect electrons tangentially according to their pattern parameter. Lomninos(also: dark photons) Energy packet particles which exhibit wave-particle duality similar to photons. They are known to interact with photons by attenuating them (thus the name). They are emmitted at each spatial end point of a Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle. The name "Lomno" is beleived to possibly be derived from the word "Gloam", or "gloaming" and old term for "dusk" It may also be related to the Kohtohkhan root "Lomoe" which means "captured light". PolchrononsThese are virtual transtitionary particles which identify the two spatial end points of a Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle. They also are a measure of the age of such cycles. (example: a DTD cycle, Larry has passed 240 x 10^20 polchronons since last wednesday) PuconsA Haorocomposite particle composed of Harinos bound and accelerated by the Sparhow-Ridley force. Pucons are observed as thread-like 'strands' due to the tacheyonic properties of the particle. Pucons always have an indentical and correlating Stochaton which travels in the exact opposite direction. StochatonsIdentical to Pucons except they travel in the exact opposite direction of their correlating pucon in the Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle. Stochatons are named such because they are particles which exhibit extremely stochastic (or pre-determinate) behavior and are believed to be the agent which resolves causality in the Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle. Stochatons are capable of imparting force and momentum upon conventional matter, both massed and massless, when in an Obstructed state. Obstructed StochatonsAre stochatons which are imparting energy to matter which is normally outside of it's Doronic Tacheyonic Duality Cycle. Stochatons in this state are of theoretically extraordinarily high energy (billions of TeV). The obstruction of stochatons usually results in the induction of time-bending Carruthian fields as a mechanism of causality resolution. It has also been observed that these particles had impart momentum as well. In essence: the obstruction of stochatons always results in something very weird happening. The most energetic stochaton obstructions observed in experiments (that have been declassified or leaked): - The Arx Tower Incident, caused conditions that resulted in obstructed stochatons calculated at 1.8 x 10^24 Joules. Extreme carruthian field formation was documented, although no matter disposition was found.
- Geogadiy Project Test 7-301 "Quetzacoatl": intentional obstruction of stochatons caused an expected disposition of matter. obstructed stochaton energy was calculated at 45.3 x 10^23 joules.
- Geogadiy Project Test 3-504 "Colvin": accidental deflection of B-point Polchronon caused unexpected collapse of the DTD cycle. Resulted in partial disposition of matter when full disposition was expected. Partial disposition caused experiment matter to be sheared. Prior to collapse, the calculated obstructed stochaton energy at the last full return cycle was 28.3 x 10^23 joules.
Wadine HariyonA set of four Harinos, each of identical pattern, arranged in a tetrahedral geometry. This is the theoretically most readily observable form that harinos can be placed in. As the photon and electron reflection and scattering pattern would form a Wada Basin-like fractal componded by the geometric pattern of the Harino Lattice. In theory, this would function as a Harino with a much greater magnitude of pattern information. There is a theory that this larger amount of pattern information would have an effect on the behavior of these particles when acted on by the Sparhow-Ridley force. Hyperpucon/HyperstochatonA pucon/stochaton pair composed of Wadar Hariyons instead of Harinos. These possibly molecule-sized, superparticles have never been observed and are entirely speculative.
