The two submarines surface rapidly and their crews quickly start to abandon ship and head for the near by shore.
--- Inca, now that the miokalian had agreed to keep Inleef secure, had quickly set off with the Inleef forces to take back Tel and with luck the mainland of Cal. They had landed without any resistance, which was expected and joined up with the desert tribal forces. But now they were in sight of Tel and had met no opposition. This had the troops concerned and Inca very worried, was this a trap?
As they approach the river they encounter some members of the residence who were celebrating and told him that the rebels were gone. As his troops and the tribal forces cross the wide river they are even more concerned. Inca's mind can't help but think of Tyie, there was something about her.
His troops soon reach the parliament complex and identify them selves at one of the few entry points. He enters the building, the first thing he notices is the smell, they had been under lock down for some time and the recycled air though perfectly good, stunk.
He was quickly ushered up to one of the conference rooms where Princess Lyie of Inleef, Queen Lo LIII of teer, Queen Tun Elantra qa III of Teu, King Al Kanta ka IV of Drew and the barons Salc, Lenca and Ican. Along with the royalty was Salato and Lo, which he recognized from Tyie's description, another of his kind. They were all gathered round one end of the table in deep discussion. He bowed.
Lyie looks up smiles and says "There is no time for that" "Your majesty, how can I serve?" He asks her. "How many troops do you bring?" "Three divisions of Inleef and four from the desert tribes." replies looking quizzically at the unidentified person. "Good, you have a question?" "Yes, who is he?" Inca replies indicating the other inleefen. "He's my personal body guard" "Isn't he a bit young for y.." "He's with Lo" salato interrupts without looking up. Lo glares at salato. "Right lets sum up here" salato continues. "From what we can ascertain Lacania's information is good, they have gone mad. All their ground forces are being directed towards teer. That makes sense if they want to stop the prophecy, they plan to kill the tree dwellers. Lo?" Salato says. Lo looks up "No Queen Lo" "Yes" replies a slightly graying teerie. "We can get a warning to your people, but I think it would be best if you do that. This is likely to be an attack unlike any your people have ever held back. They plan on destruction not capture and despite your nations history this will be a major challenge to them. Elantra, your majesty, if you could record a message for transmission over Teu to encourage our people to rise and attack the rear of the advance and the inteerie specifically to attack the flanks?" Both Queen Lo and Queen Elantra nod. "Barons we have some communications with your people, so if you could do the same?" The barrons nod. "Kanta, we need all the troops you can find." Salato looks at inca and points "You have the most cohesive force, perpair your force to move south." Inca looks at Lyie, she nods. Inca turns to leave, but before he can "What is the naval and air force situation on inleef?" Salato asks. "Well the Inleef fleet is at sea and we have many more air craft due to defections from drew and teu. Well that and what ever the miokalian have. They have agreed to secure Inleef" he replies. "With luck they won't be needed, get a message back to inleef, the rebel air and naval forces are headed towards to Inleef, we have sent what forces we can to harry them." Inca looks worried. "Lyie get a message to the sisterhood to do what ever it is you people do when under threat" Lyie says "Can you get a message to Inleef?" Inca nods. "Who is in charge at home?" "Well Tyie....Tyie is the closes thing we have to a leader over there" he replies. "She is a little young, but I know she is a good character and you do too" Lyie replies smiling a little. Inca look unsure and says "Yes she is." The thinks of her for a second.
The meeting brakes up quickly and Lyie takes Inca aside. "How is it back home?" "Well the people are still a little concerned, but the sisterhood is keeping things calm and the miokalian forces seem to be being accepted." "I hope that their presence will be a temporary situation." "I doubt they will stay once things are stabilized, they are big on keeping things being stable" "I've herd that. Tyie is in charge, I had better get a message to her to pull our people inland" "Shouldn't our forces return to Inleef to protect it?" "No point" says as here shoulders drop "They won't be landing, they intend on destroying us from the air and sea. They have no troop carriers" "Dear goddess" "I know, but put that out of your mind. You have to get your troops ready to do some good where they can." Inca bows and leaves, with many concerns in his mind, but they had to wait he had a job to do. As he leaves lyie shouts after him "What is you name?" "Si....War lord Inca" "May the goddess go with you" "Thank you" Lyie turns to back to the conference room, while she does she thinks to her self "Tyie could do a lot worse".
---- Broadcast over Teer "This is your queen, their is a force of such a size and strength that Teer has never seen before. They're plan is nothing less than the extermination of the Teerie race and I call upon all who can to take up weapons. Leave the cities, they can be rebuilt."
"We will not be alone in this battle but we must make this greatest battle of any of our people's history if we are to survive"
Broadcast over (most of) Teu "This is your queen, the rebel forces plan on the destruction of our friends the teerie, I call upon every subject who can to do so in any and all ways possible, no matter how small, to stop this."
"If you know of any Teerie, give them shelter and if you can disrupt or destroy any rebel forces you know of do so. You will not be alone."
"To my people in Inteer, you have fought bravely, but now I call you to the breach one last to save our friends"
---- Lyie sits in on of the other conference rooms alone, waiting on lambda to open a comms channel to her beloved homeland. She wonders if Tyie can handle this situation, she was not sure she could. This was not an invasion force but a destruction force. Her thoughts are interrupted by Lambda's face appearing on the screen.
"I have a comm link to Tyie" He says "Thank you put her thru" Tyie face appears on the screen looking a little unsure "Hello?" she enquirers. "Tyie, this is Lyie" Tyie bowes her head "Look at me, please" Tyie looks up "You really don't know tech well do you?" "It has never been my forty your majesty" Lyie smiles in a kindly manner. "I have bad news, a major force is coming to destroy inleef. Get the sisterhood to move people in land and scatter them." Tyie looks shocked. Lyie realizes that she had been more than a little blunt. "Can you do that?" "Yes, I will start spreading the word imediatly...Did Inca get there safely?" "Yes, but he will is heading south, we have a situation there" "Oh..." "Don't worry about him, he should be fine, but you have your own worries now"." Lyie cut's the link. "Inca could do worse too" she thinks.

Events continue to accelerate up north as well. As the rebels move closer to Teer, allied forces move closer to the kill in Pargalo. The Tinisian navy was now actively violating the perimeter as the allied ground forces, despite some scattered requests for restraint, moved beyond the bounds set by Wune. The Pargalonian army had all but stopped fighting the invaders and had begun the process many of them had been taught of since before they were teens that they might one day have to do, the 'liberation' of their fellow citizens. Even in death, Jirie's insanity was quickly resulting in massacures beyond all imagination.
In Tinis, the Chamber was working quickly to both keep their minds off the horrors of the two battle raging across the land, but also to bolster moral and to fill the gaps in the Tinisian military machine that had appeared through the last few days of battle. Despite a no vote from First Speaker Izixs, the second of Speaker Mangow's bills past the chamber and was put on the docket for public referendum. Full military action against Pargalo was also easily passed as well as several military related bills.
The underground facility known as the Tower was also a light with activity. Final checks were being made to ensure that the PDS could be deactivated without an immediate attack waiting beyond it. With all but the Commander of the army inside the PDS, most of the council of commanders were focused on large strategy items, with the obvious exception of Lenord who was living it up at the space launch base by the sea, getting the last launches for the Crystal Eye ready. Of course he was up to something else as well...
Commander Usil, head of the Tinisian ground pounders of all sorts was soon barking orders from the TSS Infinity in the water near Derikar which was quickly falling to friendly forces. He watched with pride the launching of the bombers from the deck of the aircraft carrier as they began their sorties to perform precision strikes against what was left of the island's command and control network. He was sure before night the island would be theirs.
Elsewhere in Pargalo, in the secured areas, a meeting was being organized. Already several strong willed inviduals from the camps, including Ivoristo and a couple of the old timers, as well as members of the almost not existant rebels from the eatern mountains had gathered. And they were calling in other anti-Jirie/Wunites to try to give the survivors of this tragedy some semblence of a voice.
Watching from a burnt out complex near Wunitast, Kad's unit was getting ready to raid a Pargalonian military camp that was set up near the city. Kad loved watching the enemy through his binoculars. Their fly boys might be observing from a safe altitude with much better equipment, but Kad liked the personal aspect of watching them himself. He could judge personality better that way anyway, not just troop numbers. And so far he'd been less than pleased with the personality of the enemy.
They seemed to come in four types. The average soldier seemed manic and constantly distracted. Most of those in charge, officers and seargents, seemed more reserved but also contemplative usually. Talkative yes, but otherwise working more on the inside than the out. There were of course a few soldiers who were completely out of their element. Unsure, unready, fearful of the antics of their more enthusiastic buddies. There was another group though, who seemed to want nothing to do with the others. Almost completely isolated. Kad knew they could be only three possibilities for them. Either this last group were psycho killers with guns (only slightly worse than the spasms with guns), intelligence officers, honest Pargalonians who wanted nothing to do with what was happening, or a combination of the three.
His ponderings of the enemy was interrupted when the comm rabbit informed him that they were getting a message from somewhere. The frequency was to high for it to have come from very far.
"This is what I've recorded," said the comm tech.
"Repeater 35B ID, begining transmission," spoke the now doubly recorded voice.
A female voice comes on next. "To outsider forces, this is Sky Marshall Pelia. I send this message by repeater at great personal risk. Wune has been assinated. I repeate Wune is dead. General Gatta is now calling the shots. He is going to use Wune's nuke soon. You must stop him. There are many of us that have never agreed with the ideas of the dictators and wish to see an end to this peacefully. Move quickly to destroy them. Those of us who can resist them will now actively do so. I must flee, this will be my only message."
Kad thingyed his head. "Now that's interesting."

"Notify local authorities of where the third sub was sunk," Durand said over the net. "In case anyone wants to retrieve it for salvage."
The clean-up work on Thack went on at its usual pace despite the incident. Slowly, survivors began to show up at the base, either those found by patrols searching the island or on their own, having heard the offers for assistance carried across the island by loudspeakers.
The survivors were all promptly put through decontamination and medical screening as they came into the base. Some of the construction Golems were busy putting up temporary shelters while arrangements could be made to evacuate them or at least get supplies into the camp to sustain the refugees. Miokalia in particular received requests to assist with looking after what survivors could be found.

Back in Pargalo, it was business as usual for the Erenmor detachment. The interrogations continued, though by this time the subjects were almost exclusively those turned in by others. Of course, the information they provided sometimes led to further arrests.
What troubled Gabriel, though, was that they were running into far too many dead ends with the information these days. Seemingly random people were starting to turn up dead. Typically with their heads gone or in such a state that there was nothing left to process. Since the incident with Kad and his dragon friend, word had got around the camps of the questioning methods used, and apparently some people were keen on making sure certain folks weren't interrogated.
His orders remained, but to the Erenmor general, the whole operation was starting to seem more and more like a wasted effort. All they could do was hack off limbs that would regrow in time, as it were. For a while, Gabriel considered bringing forth an offer to higher-ranking Servants to turn themselves in for questioning in return for assurances of protection from their fellows. He doubted such methods would work now, though, given his own forces' track record for treating the SoL.
His work, their work continued, though. Pargalo seemed to be falling apart now, and Gabriel couldn't help but wonder what would be left of it once the operation was over.

Sea Knight Za stands on the bridge of his Bolt class destroyer, the Teerie crewed, HMS Dart. He was leading a squadron of six other Bolt class destroyers, the Inleefen crewed HMS Spear, the Teuie crewed HMS Arrow, HMS shot and HMS bullet and the Sae crewed ships HMS Stone and HMS Bolt. They were the most modern class of ship in the Calie fleet.
He had been handed a promotion and command of the squadron by Sea Lord Thianca, Sea Lord of the High Seas fleet. There had been a number of attempts at mutiny in the fleet, but all had failed due to the loyalty of the crews to the commonwealth. In the case of his ship a number of officers had attempted to rest control of the ship from the captain, he had been killed, when that was discovered the crew had then taken control of the ship back. He had always though 'being ripped limb from limb' was a metaphor, but had been proved wrong when the crew had reached the offices, he was going to have nightmares about what he saw. Several of the other ships had larger attempts at mutiny, but all had failed. The surviving mutineers had been marooned on an unoccupied islands, out with cal, with food and water to last them a week or so. They had no time to deal with prisoners, and would send someone to pick them up, if they survive as they had not fully check if the island was indeed uninhabited.
They had raced here as his squadron were the fastest boats of the fleet and were now a day ahead of the fleet. His original orders were clear, to destroy, disrupt and harry as much of the rebel fleet as possible, these had changed to simply destroy the fleet by any and all means at his disposilbe.
He had slowed the squadron as they had approached and used a trick he had learned from Sir Zacanlo, the trick was simple. If you slowed to half speed, shut down active sonar, shutdown part of their radar and the computer links, the Bolt class destroyers looked exactly like old Lord Zanca class destroyers to radar, sonar and electronics intelligence so they appeared to be slower and having nothing like the fire power they did. But he would probably have to kill Sir Zacanlo and his ship the Harp.oon now as they were in the rebel fleet.
Sea Lord Unta of the Inleefen had contacted him and told him not to attack the fleet from the east, and to avoid the area to the west. He had to wonder what he was up to, the currents and prevailing winds came from the west, but what good was that? He had also in the same communication be given command of the Inleefen fleet in the west to him, just to think a few days ago he was a sea page, now he was effectively a sea lord.
He looks over at the radar, they were closing, even though they were well within range he did not want to betray the ships class, it had been a challenge keeping the HMS Spear from charging straight in, but he believed that they understood now. The screen of destroyers they were approaching were no match for even one of his ships.
A scream goes up “Incoming, we have incoming” Za shouts“From which ship?” “The battleship the Lord Da..” A flash from the HMS Bolt in the distance interrupts the conversation and for a second the lights and systems in the bridge go out. They were soon back on. “S$#$# they know what we are now, HMS Spear” “Aye” “The destroyers are all yours”
The deck of the spear becomes a mass of flame and smoke as fourteen short range sea dart missiles erupt from her decks and the water boils beside her as four sea scane torpedoes were fired.
“Bolt reporting no damage Za” “Give me all of them” “Yes Za, your on” “Za to fleet, CHARGE!” There were a few odd looks exchanged by offices on the ships, it wasn't exactly a naval command, but the Teerie were not exactly a naval race. They got the idea and his destroyer squadron starts to accelerate causing Za to take a step back. The computer net was now on line, the active sonar was running and the radar was at full strength. The Inleefen fleet had now moved to engage and the first reports of destroyed ships were coming in, sixteen almost all old destroyers had been taken out by the HMS Spear. So the first blood goes to the Inleefen, that was fitting.
---
Epsilon had after much effort managed to get external communications active, having rested control of the external satellite net from the rebels, lambda was having greater trouble getting the internal communications net back under government control. Epsilon checks with his network of agents only to discover none of them knew of the were about of the two fugitives Ane Lacania an and Lord Quank. He sighs, he would have to put pass this over to the police so they could ask for support from other members of the federation to track them. The financial people had tracked a number of Ane Lacania an accounts but due to the intentionally labyrinthine nature of Ane Lacania an finances they had not found all his accounts, or know just how much he had hidden away, they had how ever found that he had been receiving large amounts of funds and had been active in the arms markets. It looked like he had provided the H-bombs to the terrorists and probably knew their plans as he had not been in the cal when the bombs were meant to go off.

The head controller at Anlen airport had seen the first wave of ground attack aircraft off, now equipped with sea devil anti-shipping missiles. His ground crew had adapted quickly and after being shown how to fit them had managed to get almost all of the various ground attack aircraft adapted to take the missiles. They deserved a massive reward for going above and beyond the call of duty, he was now reading with interest a message from Lyie her self, it appeared he and his ground crew and controllers had been drafted and he had been commissioned to the rank of Air Lord. He had also been given the right to give field commissions to any of his once civilian crew, well he crew...a number of mates of the crew had arrived to help in any way they could and a few other civilians. To be honest he was no longer sure who was working at his airport any more.
“Second wave ready” one of the other controllers says. “Go for it, and get the rest up asap” “You are clear for take off.” he says into the radio and covering the mic asks “Why?” “Things are going too well” “Understood, wave three, to runway two, wave four prepare for launch” “We have fighters up?” “Yes we have a squadron on 'fly by', well I think that's what they called it” “Oh by the way your an air Knight now” “?” “We've been drafted.” “Oh...kay...wave two and three away, wave four forming up on runway one, wave five forming up on runway two” “Are the fighters loaded?” “Yes” “Get the ground crew to the basements” “Why?” “They are the closest thing to a shelter this place has, they will have noticed us and this place is a target” “Understood” “Oh and once we get the last of the ground...well sea attack planes up get your self and the rest of them down there. I'll call you up when they start coming back” “What about the fighters?” “I can handle them and if there is an attack, you don't need more than one person to shout scramble do you” “But..” “That is an order”
---
Salato looks at the incoming reports on her make shift desk, the loyal Sae had taken advantage of the bizarre action of the rebels and war once again raged over the Saeie islands. The government forces were now on an island hoping campaign and the Lords of the isles had for once put aside their petty bickering to clear the islands.
The fleet off Inleef was now being engaged on the water and soon the air war would start over there. This just left Inca's force to the south, they had been picking up loyal regiments as they went and would soon make contact. The Teerie forces and the Teuie forces in inteer were already beginning to make contact with the rebels.
Salato sighs, this was end game.

Andertol was taking one of the few breaks he had. He had just finished a bowl of pasta when secretary of defense Zagckza came in. "We have 'M10s over Cal. Far above Cal. I'm ordering that they run a defensive. If any of the airbases run by the Calie Royal Airforce are attacked, we're going to surprize the hell out of the attackers and turn the tables on them real damn fast.", he said.
Andertol popped an entire clove of garlic into his mouth. "Good. Keep those airfields clear. Make sure Inleef remains in our military control. One less island for them to worry about, and that port is very important to us. Another thing, I don't want a single one of our merchant vessels getting fired at. The economic devastation of a civil war over there can be better cushioned if we can prevent scarcity. We do a lot of trade and the Business Socialists will impeach me along with Kohastar if I don't watch our numbers and do what I can. I put in an order to freeze tdarocel pricing for them. That should at least keep their economy somewhat afloat, if anything, it will get more people to use hydrogen."
Zagckza then said, "I just want this thing to end."
The approval ratings of president Kohastar continued to tumble. At a picnic at a major UUD church in New Decatur, a few priests gathered and discussed politics. "I don't see this Pargalo thing working out. I think Kohastar has really shown some serious weakness in this, by just going along with everything. He should have contested the HCPC attack in the first place. He just made a whole series of mistakes. First the Coleotam Ring, then going along with Erenmor's interrogation plan. I shudder at what mistake he will make next.", said a grey fox. "Now, I really would like to see every single one of those RLM assholes have their brains scooped-out and picked over by Erenmor, considering those people are actively dragging good faith through the mud by claiming that they're doing the world a favor with senseless acts of violence. But I can't see this Pargalo thing working out at all with this president.", said a brown allosaurus. "I think it is unforetunate... no, unacceptable that some people seem to forget the purpose of faith. Regardless of if God even exists or not, faith in God does exist to give people something that nothing can ever take away from them. The purpose of faith is not to use it as a way to justify killing or politics. Of course, we know this best.", said a green dragon. "I think a lot of people get it. It's just a very few with access to more resources than they should have that don't.", said the grey fox.

The mood was tense in the Tower. Only a few minutes from the deactivation of the PDS. Epshrin was eager to get the final ok from the observation posts along the boarder. The old wolf suddenly noticed the blinking incoming call light on one of the phones near his 'public' desk in the main command center.
Picking up the phone he hit the answer button, expecting a report from the observation post overseer.
"Hi, this is Secretary Chadwick, is this Supreme Commander Epshrin?"
"Yes it," he answered to the Secretary of Defense. The Secretary of Defense acts usually as a go between for technical issues that need to be dicussed between the First Speaker's office and is otherwise an advisor to both the First Speaker and the Supreme Commander on various issues. "What can I do for you?"
"I'm requesting that the PDS remain active for a few more minutes. The Chamber has agree to a special test of the PDS by a Miokalian university group. They believe it will helps us better understand the systems limits and possibly furthur restrict our domain for the system equation."
The Supreme Commander roles his eyes. "What kind of test?"
"They want to use an unpiloted drone with one of their jump drive devices to try to jump inside the defense perimeter. They do have official approval but may reconsider if you don't like the idea."
The gears turned quickly in Epshrin's head. Such a test could show case a possible weakness to the system if they managed to get in, but if they didn't it would enlighten them of the systems strengths. Of course there is always a benefit of them not knowing...
He says finally, "I recommend... I recommend that they only be allowed to publish or talk about it if their test fails and they are unable to get inside. Can that agreement be made in the next few minutes?"
"Way ahead of ya. We already made it part of the agreement that we can block out any data that would be a threat to Tinisian national security and the like. But to be honest, I'm not expecting them to get through. Hell their device not even activate. But they say their ready to go now."
"Very well. Go ahead. They have ten minutes after the last check is done, which we're expecting any moment now. So call them up and tell them to hurry."
Epshrin hangs up without a good bye. About fifteen minutes later the last outpost confirms all is clear and the shut down procedure began, starting with a ten minute wait.
To himself Epshrin says, "The question is, can we reach Pargalo and Cal before its to late."
Commander Vinlia who is sitting near by nods. "Kraz says the airfleet is in the air. Shouldn't be to long."

Some scientists at the University of Hokyldaryon had set up an experiment that would involve Tinis' PDS. So right before it came down, they had taken the opportunity to do it. An experiment to see if their method of hypergated space travel could get an object through the PDS system. Or what would happen if it couldn't get through.
The experiment was set up and the device, a small propeller aircraft loaded with a small cylinder on top was going to be the test object. Once on the other side of the PDS, if it made it through, the airplane would automatically land in a field, if control was lost, it would crash into the field, but either way, there wasn't any potential hazard from the plane doing either. Safety precautions on both sides had been taken. "Okay first test is, can we even get a Tubule through the wall here.", said the professor running the project. "The computer hasn't returned any errors yet.", said one of the graduate students. "I can't get any numbers returned past the wall. Everything falls to zero once we get to it.", said another student. "Do we have a Sparhow Curve for this at least? That should be able to give us some estimates.", said the professor. "Well, it's really narrow. And it's not very complete, but we can get it through the wall. This is pulled from the stuff the other group did a week ago, with the refraction data they got from the wall. They made it.", said another student. "Well, this is as good of information as we can get. Plug it in to the computer and hope it accepts it.", said the professor. The grad student began working through some software to create estimated geographical location data even though the data was theoretically non-existent because of the PDS. The plane was loaded up with the small Co-Ax device. A long metal tube full of bundles of fibers. Service systems were hooked into it, devices which provided the power and conditioning for the system to work. The plane was flown by remote control.
After a nervous count-down, the plane took off, headed straight for the PDS surface at 130 MPH.
At about 400 feet from the sufrace, The grad students were given the okay to pull the lever for the Co-Ax device. The compression cloud began to form around the plane and at just 50 feet from the PDS surface, it disappeared.
The project team waited for a bit, not knowing what had happened to the plane.
On the inside, the safety crew looked around puzzled as they heard the sound of the plane's engines, but couldn't find it. It was nowhere to be found in the sky, nowhere on the ground. Eventually the sound stopped. After a second of silence, the plane became visible, lodged in the surface of the PDS, What was strange about this was, there was no sound. Eventually, the plane seemed to stretch out into a long mass of colored lines. The propeller sound continued this time, fading off as though it had passed overhead. Above them, the safety crew saw the long stretched-out mass of material, stretching from the PDS surface to well past the horizon, presumably the other side of the PDS. The mass was silent, and didn't appear to disturb anything as it slowly shifted colors around, all of them linearly stretched out along the length of the structure. Just as it had appeared, the mass then gradually faded away.
Minutes before the launch occoured, the plane was reported to have rematerialized in a compression cloud and crashed upside-down and backwards while moving along the ground... on the other side of the PDS.
Back in Miokalia, at the Univeristy of Hokyldaryon, the University running the Co-Ax/PDS experiment, one of the major researchers in the project was giving a lecture to his class.
"A very important part of the Doron Mechanical Model of the Universe is the number 10^10118. That number, is quite literally, the entire contents of the universe. Everything that can possibly exist does, or has existed in there. That is the linear mass of the universe in Puc units. That means that 10^10118 meters in any direction from this point, exists a point of identical Doron properties. 10^10118 meters away, there is planet exactly the same as this one, probably with only one thing different. That difference might be impossibly minute to notice from our own world. It may be a lifeless rock where life never happened. It could be heaven. There is no telling what is different, but we sure do know that it happens to be the same arrangement of quanta and it has exactly the same Doron properties. That is because every 10^10118 the universe must repeat the same finite number of possible arrangments of particles and matter", said the bespectacled short brown raptor. "When you reach the edge of one of these iterations of universe, there is one of two things: either a seemless transition into the next Hubble Volume iteration, or a cosmic wall. Specifically, something we call a Hariyamo's Ball in Doron Physics. It is a barrier which can be created at sizes of up to 2.55 cm in a lab. A barrier which isolates the contained matter from interaction of matter or energy outside the ball. Tinis' PDS system is a Hariyamo's Ball. They have come across a way to make it work on a large scale through a different scientific path. We are currently studying the PDS for things which may apply to our Doron model of the universe.", continued the raptor. "If the PDS ball is basically a barrier that may be same as the possible barrier between Hubble Volumes, is it impossible to use a Coaxial Device to bridge together a point inside the PDS and a point outside the PDS? Since the Doron properties would no longer correlate with eachother.", asked a student. "Theoretically, the PDS is the only field of any kind in the universe that would prevent a coaxial device from traveling through it. Since the act of bridging two points together with Puc's Refraction Sequencing results in the creation of a naturally-occouring Hariyamo's ball around the vessel. It would be like trying to blow a bubble in the surface of the PDS. Like blowing a bubble out of solid stone. It can't be done. If one were to treat the Hariyamo's Ball surface as a substance, it would be a completely unmaleable, rigid solid, which has almost infinite reflective properties. So pretty much, we don't think it would work, but we really have no idea what would happen if we tried.", said the professor. "Why is it that the PDS has visual appearence then? Shouldn't it basically make it look like Tinis isn't there?", said another student. "If the PDS were a naturally-occouring Hariyamo's Ball, then as one gazed into Tinis from the outside, they would see what was on the exact other side of the PDS right in front of them. As though the space that makes up Tinis were cut out of the universe completely and the resultant hole were closed up and the space around brought together. If you walked into it, you would find yourself walking into a wall of theoretically infinite strength. That's because if you could walk all the way through it, you would have to exceed the speed of light as you suddely appear on the other side of the PDS, hundreds of miles away from where you started instantly.", said the professor. "But that's what Coaxial Devices do. That's how they bridge points.", said another student. "It is, but Coaxial Devices do something else too. The locating of a naturally-occouring Doron Tubule creates a one-way directional path. A one-dimensional line that goes from point A to point B. Such a tubule cannot break through a Hariyamo's Ball, that we are aware of. But it can contain a Hariyamo's Ball, and move it from point A to point B at what would look like to the outside observer, almost infinite speeds. To the individual inside the ball, they would be moving at the speed they were moving when they first entered the tube.", explained the professor "We are right now, running an experiment to test what happens when one tries to use a Tubule through the PDS. Because the PDS is not an ordinary Hariyamo's Ball. It doesn't have the same optical properties for one, we don't know anything about why that is. Although we suspect it probably has something to do with the different way they developed it. Our theory differs from theirs in many ways. They took the Quantum approach to it. We're taking the Doron approach.", said the professor. "But Hariyamo's Ball is a Doron Physics thing. It does not even exist in other models of the universe.", asked another student. "Well, they're also working on the system equasion which does not exist in the Doron model. Different people, different cultures, different history, and thus: different scientific paths.", said the professor.
Later, upon looking at the video footage taken of the anomalies inside the PDS, the professor said, "This is pretty strange. I would expect no less from the combining of two already fairly exotic things. It seems the resistence from the PDS didn't stop the photons from the plane from literally leaping off of the Tubule and streaming around the outside of it. What's amazing here is, somehow these photons got slowed down to the reletive internal speed of the Tubule, even though they are on the outside of it. These photons are traveling at just 130 Miles per hour. That is very unusual.". "So did the plane get in?", asked a grad student. "Not at all. But all the photons bouncing off of it did. I'm not even going to begin to guess at what's going on with the engine noise. The plane crashed intact on the other side of the PDS, so it pretty much was forced right through everything.", said the professor.

Elsewhere deep under Arx, the technicians and scientists who operate the Pattern Defense System started to recieve anamalous feed back from the central processing unit of the system. The massive computer that is the core fucntioning component of the PDS, six stories tall, and larger than a city block across began to nearly over fill its error buffers and the output stream began varying wildly. Such instance had occured previously, but having both feed back systems acting at the same time was much more rare, and the only time it got any where near this level of activity was when the Ropogo blast occured.
Then the activity stopped. Seven minutes later the order was given to shut down the PDS.
Outside the odd greenish light that had been day in Tinis for many days now began to darken and fad to black as the PDS was reset to standard mode, to block anything once more instead of allowing the select bits of information that would provide day or slow coomunication. Then as suddenly as it had appeared days previous, the impossible blackness vanishes and once again a full bright day shown on Tinis. The storms that had collected in the eastern part of the country almost immediatly began to lessen, having been the trap for all the flowing atmospheric moisture of the nation. The connections to the satallites and cross boarder communications lines came back almost instantly.
And two fleets of Tinisian airships began their long hauls to Pargalo and Cal. The Pargalonian bound group being followed by what amounts to the Tinisian full armada in the sea.

War lord Inca was now in contact with the rebel forces, he had sent the bulk of his own lightly armed troops to other areas of the battle, the marines had been sent to back up the Teuie in Inteer and the Teerie forces by proxy. The commando units had run down the Calie range to hook up with the southern baronies forces. He had noted that the Inteerie were fighting under Teerie command now, and were now ignoring Teuie orders.
He was now leading a force of Teuie, Drewn and northern barony forces, as they had the tanks and they were accepting a very large number of surrenders from the rear of the rebel army. It would appear they would rather surrender to his forces than to fight the Teerie or Inteerie Teuie. The east of the battlefield was now being cleared by two battleships from Sae and Teu, any tank formation reported by the commonwealth forces were being quickly destroyed by the fourthly two inch guns of the ships. The battle had swung there way and was quickly turning in to a rout. The Teerie had been is serious trouble with their inteerie teuie friends, but they had found new strength from the northern armies.
A major tank battle was now underway between the hard core rebels and his forces. He now had them encircled, it was likely to be a matter of time. This was very much a last gasp attempt of escape by the rebels, they were already finding suicides. They would seem to rather to die than surrender in some cases.
He had releised that Teu was likely to have it's borders redrawn due to the Inteerie Teuie had to a man taken Teerie command and they would seed to Teer and the Teuie queen was in no position to stop this. He had been told by the war lord in charge that this would happen, they fought for Inteer not Teu. He did realise that it was probably the only way the main landers would allow the borders to change. Well force, the force of arms, they understood. Inteerie had more in common with Teer than had either was willing admit.
--
The assault on the rebel fleet had been going very well, many of the ships were declaring them selves non-combatant and turning to the mainland. Those that had not were being destroy by his squadron and the Inleefen naval forces, the distant third naval powerl of the kingdoms before unification (but by the looks of it not that far behind).
The aerial assault had been odd, the first wave or so had not been very effective with the bulk of missiles having been dropped too low. But it looked like they had pick up a trick, invert and let the missile stay on the pylon while it armed and let it launch. It had to be the most insane method of launch but it was effective. The attack wings never had to climb high enough to be seen on radar. Thus the thrust of the fleet had been very much blunted.
He had now found out why he had been told to attack from the west, the Inleeft Sea Lord had annexed a number of pleasure and fishing vessels that did not show up well on radar and mined them. They were all full of explosives and would explode on proximity, fire ships. They would cause massive damage to any ship in there proximity and his ace had to be a hydrogen carrier that he had put stealth tech onto to hide, it had cause a circular area of damage that covered fifteen miles. This had spooked the fleet and many of the surrendering ships had come from the east.
Za is called over to the radar, the ships surrounding two of the old battle ships where pulling away. They were loyal ships to the rebels, there was only once reason he could figure. He looks in disbelief as they orientating them selves towards the island.
“Oh goddess.....silver rain” “What isn't that illegal?” “Yes, but can you think of any other reason?” The radar controller was looking very scared, silver rain was a banded weapon. It could only be fired by treble bagging a gun on a warship (three times the usual explosive load, only the Saeie and Teuie had the ships or the weapon) and the guns on a warship to do this had to be locked forwards. Firing it was dangerous, but as a weapon it was unstoppable, the only problem was militarily it was useless. It was indiscriminate and inaccurate, a treble bagged gun was only accurate to a five miles area, though could be fired over 200 miles and indeed could not be fired at less than 150 miles from it's target.
Silver rain was not detectable by radar due to it's crystalline construction or on infrared as it did not give off heat or visually as it was almost impossible to see. It was also capable of passing though magnetic shields, due to it's non-magnetic nature and force shields, due to it's high speed and massive strength.
Silver rain was not an anti-shipping or tank weapon, it was anti personnel. When it detonated it would fire millions of shards of diamond at massive speed to kill personnel. Those under it had no chance of survival, it could penetrate up to one hundred meter of titanium steel. Anything within one thousand meters would die, no matter it's protection, those within 2000 meters, not in hardened shelters would die and those within 3000 meters in the open would die. There were reports of silver rain casualties up to 5000 meters away, though like the weapon the reports were old. No silver rain shell is known to be less than 100 years of age, as they come from a less enlighten age. They were view as musium peices, no one thought they could still work....but they were very well built and might.
The two battleships stop, Za knows there is only one thing that can cause a battleship to stop suddenly, the use of the front twelve guns treble bagged. He shouts. “Silver rain, Silver rain, they are using silver rain, kill, kill, kill!”
The air attack changes to target the battle ships, they should have been out of range. A number of frigates brake and declare them selves non-combatant with the bulk of the destroyer force. The HMS harpoon/HIS Lord Cara (rebel Bolt class destroyer) turns at speed and rams the the Lord Thand (a battleship that had been involved in the attack), the blast could be seen for miles.
A shell explodes over the miokalia fleet, it's a direct hit, though it was not the target, well with silver rain nothing is. The shards rip though the vessels and their crews.
---
The Inleefen had run inland and from possible targets, well almost all. The controller of Acline air port had managed to get the fighters up but the blast from a silver rain shell that landed near left him in a puddle of blood, for him the war is over.
---
"Za, we got a message form the the Harpoon before it struck" "What does it say" Za replies with his head in his hands. "It reads 'No they must be stopped'" "Forward that to the fleet and miokalia, I think that sums up the situation". Za falls to his knees and asks "How many silver rain detonated successfully?" "We think eleven, one hit the miokalian fleet" "May the goddess go with them, the others?" he replies in dispair. "One exploded near Acline, the others over nothing that matters. Of the rest a number either exploded to high to be a risk or too low to cause major caualties, and the rest failed to explode." "Thank the goddess, does the mainland know?" "I am not sure" "Then tell them" Za stands up, "Za to fleet, kill the battleships!"

Captain Vox had been about to order silent running when news of the Silver rain reached the airship. The Toson II was a good three hours ahead of the rest of the air fleet heading south from Tinis.
"Silver rain?" asks the bear.
"Aye captain, tis a diamond shrapnel explosive. Deadly to non-heavy shielded personel."
"Survival is then possible for those under deck, maybe, but not so much for those above. Radio the friendly Calies and Miokalians that a partially stealthed air craft will be nearing their position. Alright, a head max speed!"
The Toson II, the most advanced of Tinis' unusual fleet of sky born attack and defense 'vessels', accelerated towards the battle. It was presently one of three such vessels with any form of stealth capabilities, which during normal flight are fairly good but beatable unless the airship is peforming 'silent running' to reduce exahust and its E&M profile. So Captain Vox was not to surprised when the first few anti-aircraft shells started being fired as they approched the battle in the sea from the north.
"Their firing pattern indicates they spotted us, but don't know our exact location yet."
Vox nods, "They'll be looking for us now and can find us. Take us higher and position us over that battleship. Forward guns and missile to the ready."
A few moments later the Toson II was buffeted. "Minor damage to lower compressor system and stabalizers," came the crew report.
The tactical officer barked, "The battleship is in firing range of missiles and primary cannons now, they are continuing their silver rain volleys presently. Without full stabalizers, targetting is down to 60% accuracy at this range."
"Can't get much closer or else their anti-aircraft shells will rip us apart," said Vox. "Open fire."
From the sky blue vessel, a rain of small and medium missiles and cannon fire began to rain from the sky towards the battleship.

The 'M10 dragon units automatically began their decent to locate the enemy ships. In lieu of the attack on the MZS Dorrington, the tanker M.V.-Darasouth Rodalaton and the Calie ships with such an unusually bloody weapon, the C.A. instructed the 'M10s to use their Narrow-Band CPC devices on personell. Which was probably slight overkill. Up to this point, their focus had been inland, but this new command sent 50% of them out over the oceans. A systematic extermination of ships followed. It was marathon-sinking. The 'M10s were not necessarily stealthy, but their speed made up for it. They all had small coaxial compression cylinders attached to them, which granted them a well timed "invisibility" during which they would dissappear and reappear. Confusing and surprizing the enemy crews almost without fail. The device was operating on a very strict energy budget, considering the system had to share power between the 'M10's core systems and the NB-CPC. The jumps were usually only a mile in length as a result. But that was more than enough to take the ships by surprize. 12 enemy battleships went down that day as a result of the sudden offensive. The MZS Dorrington layed anchored in the harbor it was guarding. Medical teams were very quick to arrive. The silver rain device itself, could be made out of improvised explosives. A nail bomb with more expensive nails, basically. Diamond shards were of course deadly to organics. But the Malych saw it as something particularly heinous, which is why the sudden attack was ordered by the C.A. before leadership even had a chance to think about it. Diamonds, being compressed carbon, are a common substance in the Malych anatomy. They're very hard, they're strong and they are restorable, in their implemenation in Malych systems. Their nanite core itself, is constructed of tiny nano-computer cells, the circuits of which are etched into diamonds, rather than silicon. Their protein nanites are composed mostly of diamond, simply because carbon is such a versatile element that it can work for most nano-structures and has the strength and hardness to resist wear, tear and unintentional reshaping. This was weapon was the equivalent of a biological weapon, for the Malych. While it would just simply tear apart organics, the diamonds would penetrate the light O-class armour and get into their systems. dilluting their nano-fluids and disrupting their mechanisms. While they were able to take quite a blast, it would usually leave them nonfunctional after a short time. Stories would later emerge that told of dying Malych O-class units using their own nano-fluids to keep otherwise soon-to-be-dead organic alive long enough for medical crews to get to them. Although perturbed by the inconvenience of being slaughtered, the O-class figured the organics had more to loose. They wouldn't necessarily be rebuilt, as they are when such a thing happens to them. Among the O-class units that were destroyed, was General Difiyuse. He was staying on Dorrington and was scheduled to leave for Inleef the following day. On the deck, Difiyuse ecountered a very profound death. As the shards of diamond tore through most of his front side. Then more of them came and smashed through his eye-panels and turned his optical lenses, his optical system and eventually his peripheral control device and spectrometer into dust. The shards then came to stop once they hit the back of his head. His tubes were slashed and the viscous grey fluid sprayed out a bit from his front. His deochalchim reactor fell out of his chest as the shards quickly turned his chalky fuel cartridge into dust. All of his service fluids gushed out of him as more parts fell from his chest as he collapsed on top of it. The shards had quite quickly turned him into a lifeless heap of scrap in seconds. Meanwhile, the two R-class Malych seemed to have the armour to withstand the attack. They served as shelters for everyone else as a result.
Foretunately for the fish in the ocean, when the rebels set fire to the Darasouth Rodalaton tanker, they had managed to prevent Miokalia's worst fear with the tanker tanking place: a spill, which with this fuel, would be completely impossible to clean and a vastly greater threat than an oil-spill, since the fuel is actually water-soluble unlike oil and not biologically friendly or biodegradible. Expecting the Ammonium Electrolytic fuel to behave like any other flammable fuel, the saboteurs decided to open some valves and light what came out. But much to their dismay, the sudden decrease in pressure produced a very cold, liquid fuel, and as soon as they lit it, instead of burning along the puddle until it caught the boat ablaze, it took several tries to light the fuel with matches and lighters (doing so would be like trying to light water on fire). Finally, the lead saboteur had a brilliant idea: To make the fuel light, there needs to be more of it. So he attached a few chunks of C4 explosive to the valve, then from the other side of the boat, he detonated the charge. First, the gas escaped as a gas, then the gas began raining down as liquid. That's when the trouble started. The gas was now coming out so cold from the pressure change that the boat iced over in an instant. The saboteurs didn't even have a chance to escape. Eventually, the fuel got enough oxygen into it, that it detonated in a hot explosion of mostly steam. Flash-boiled water vapor coming together from the hydrogen in the fuel and the oxygen in the air. The explosion was described as 'fiery' even though it was mostly steam. Not a single drop of the fuel had a chance to get into the ocean and poison the water before it was combusted.

On Thack, the clean-up effort proceeded at its usual pace, despite the fighting in other parts of Cal. Wreckage from the island's interior was salvaged and recycled to put together a pair of VTOL transport planes, which were then used to ferry survivors from Thack to Cal. After informing the necessary authorities of the fact, of course. The Erenmor troops kept a close record of names shipped to the mainland for when it would be safe enough to return them to Cal. Meanwhile, other pieces of wreckage were used to put together special containers, where recycled and purified material from the fallout was stored for later shipping to Erenmor. There were plenty of valuable elements that would have gone to waste otherwise. And on top of all that, a few more Krakens were assembled , these dispatched into more open waters to assist with the naval battle taking place.
***
Three such Krakens intercepted a convoy heading to join the battle. They were detected as they approached, but for all the ship crews could guess, all they were dealing with were three oddly curious squids.
Two of the droids began circling around the fleet while the third one slipped in among the convoy and swamp up under one of the larger battleships in the middle. There, it positioned itself by the rear of the ship. Its long tentacles reached out and coiled around one of the ship's propeller shafts. A few moments later the propeller was severed by the cutting systems placed along the tentacles. The other propellers were dealt with quickly as well in the same manner, and finally the ship's rudder was also severed, effectively leaving the ship with no control over its movement.
With one of its main ships coming to a halt, the other vessels had little choice but to do the same. When they also stopped, the Krakens went to work, immobilising half the fleet before they had even figured out what was wrong.
A few of the escort ships caught on that something was amiss and tried to break off from the convoy, but this only made them priority targets. These ones were not just immobilised, however, as the Krakens promptly cut open sections along the sides of the hull, leaving their crews with more important things on their minds than trying to fight off a couple of squids.
Once the entire convoy had been crippled, the Krakens made sure to cut open the main battleships' hulls before slinking away, relaying the ships' position to allied forces, leaving behind a full group of ships immobilised and in some cases noticeably tilting to one side from the water they were taking in.

War lord Inca surveyed the battle field, now littered with burnt out tanks, fighting was still sporadic as the last of the rebel forces were subdued. It had been a busy night as the rout of the rebels had started with units turning on their own officers or taking them captive before surrendering to his forces, none wanted to surrender to the south.
Teer had once more withstood invasion by a numerically and better equipped enemy. He had herd reports that the swamps below the trees in teer we full of the bodies of the rebel forces that had been full hardy enough to enter. The teerie had recovered their own dead and their bodies were being placed in the sacred Ucantly trees that dotted the jungle where they would be allowed to decompose far up in the canopy. The rebel dead would be left to rot in the swamps below, that was the teerie way.
It must be said that many of the rebels had been victims of the jungle rather than the Teerie them selves, the quick sand, the poisonous flora and faunae and gas pockets that dotted the swamps had been the primary causes. Though he could not take from the Teerie the fact that they had killed so many, he knew they would have few prisoners as the teerie mode of operation was hit and run. Well that and few attacking troops would be willing to surrender to the teerie knowing they you be taken into the jungle. He also knew that the jungle was not done with it's killing, many highly virulent disease's were spread by the biting insects, one of the many reasons that the teerie lived far up in the canopy.
The story in inteer had been a little different as they did not have the jungle to protect them, but they did have the swamp. When the attack had happened they had intentionally shut down all of the pumping stations and blown the d**e's around the rivers, quickly turning there land back into swamp. He had reports of rebel tanks simply sunk with out trace into the inteerie mud. The rebel troops had not faired much better. With the enemy, quite literally, bogged down the inteerie teuie had attracted by cutting off the forces and forcing them south, though this sent them further into there own territory it also forced them onto the worsted parts of the swamp (those that had never been drained). Those that did not sink into the swamp were killed by the large venomous snake population or surrendered.
He had herd that the Inteerie had already repaired the d**es and the pumping stations were running again. They had lost an amount of crops, but they had plenty in storage.
Reports from the southern baronies had also mentioned initiative fighting techniques, the most successful seemed to be opening the dams massive sluice gates when the enemy was down stream.
Inca looks at the casualty report, there were many, but less than he had feared, at least on his side. The rebel casualties did not bare thinking about.
-- Sea lord Za, having receive the promotion from Lyie (he was not quiet sure if it was valid as it had not come from queen Lo), was stood on the bridge of his destroyer, the dart. His ship had taken some damage, but was still more than capable of fighting, it took more than a few flooded compartments and fires to sink a bolt class destroyer. His comms officer was sending out a repeat message to the rebel fleet: 'Surrender your selves and your crews will not be harmed'. It appeared to have been landing on deaf ears, this was not a battle anymore it was a slaughter. Between his forces, the inleef naval forces, the air onslaught, the Tinisen craft, the Erenmoren attack and Miokalian forces, the rebels stood no chance, they must have realized that by now?
---
Sea lord Saw Alcanie an stood on the bridge of the rebel battle ship the Lord Saw Cline, named after one of his ancestors. He looks out over the deck, most of if was ablaze and the guns were wrecked, he saw no option now and with the death of Sea lord Aclantiae he was in charge. He turns to the vessels sea knight, like most of the fleet it was crippled. "I am releaving you of command" "But sir." "No, it is not because of you. Give me the fleet" "Yes sir" "This is Sea lord Saw Alcanie an to imperial fleet, cease fire and surrender your selves to the commonwealth forces, I repeat cease fire, cease fire!” “Sir we should be raising the white flag” “No, give me the ship! Sea lord Saw Alcanie an to ship, this is my ship. To all crew open the scuppers and abandon ship, I repeat open the scuppers and abandon ship, it repeat open...” The sea knight pulls him away “They know, time to get you off the ship” Sea lord Alcanie shares a glance with his sea knight “It is my ship now” “Yes it is....thank you” “Give your mate and pups my love, and tell Salacn I love her, but duty calls. She will understand.” With that the aging sea lord snaps to attention and the younger sea knight does like wise. He snaps salute which is replied. “People get to the life rafts” the sea knight says in a metered tone, as he exited he looked back at the sea lord, he snapped a salute.
-- Sea Lord Za takes the surrender for what it was and called on the Miokalian, Tinisan, Erenmoren and Inleefen forces to also cease fire. He looked in disbelief as the rebel ships where quickly surround by brightly coloured inflatable rafts, they were not surrendering. He now knew what they were doing, they were not going to surrender thier ships.
He bowed his head, he had herd that the Teuie and Saeie did not surrender thier ships, but what could he do?
He looks over at the Lord Saw Cline as it's bow raise to the sky as it sunk under the waves, the steam that was caused as the fires that covered the ships many decks were doused by the sea. It looked like a funeral pyre for the ship. He snaps to attention and gives a salute.
It was not alone as the remaining three battle ships followed suit and a number of the frigats joined them. Za could not but marvel at the nobility of the action, it did not matter what they fought for but they would not surrender thier ships......and the knights would go with there steeds.

After the last of 12 ships were detroyed by the 'M10 air-strike, Secretary Andertol personally issued an override order to stop the attack. The notion that many of the enemy personell were conscripts caused him to have to act to stop the offensive. It is a technically against internal code to attack conscripted enemy personell with anti-personell weapons. Foretunately, not that many enemy personell were actually killed, most of them were able to get out of the way and get below deck in time. While the attack basically dismantled the boats. Although, the attack was in direct response to the use of the Silver Rain Device. A Miokalian Cetacion II carrier, the MZS Zeigler approached the life rafts full of surrendered personell. The Commander from the MZS Dorrington was on board the Ziegler now. Commander Ceratch gazed out at the sinking ships. As the enemy lords would rather sacrifice themselves for honor than to surrender. A major apprached him to report on the matter. "They appear to be going down with their ships sir. The crews are in life boats. I suppose it is a matter of honor perhaps", he said. Ceratch's face dropped with what appeared to be disgust. "They are kidding themselves. They use a weapon as sick and disturbing as the Silver Rain, an anti-personell weapon, then when they're on the run, they sink their own ships and drown with them... In vain. That's not honor. They don't know the first damn thing about honor. Maybe we just have different ideas of what honor is, but last time I checked, starting a damn civil war during a time of regional crisis, unnecessarily killing thoudands of civilians and service people is not honor.", said Ceratch. "You didn't go down with the Dorrington though.", said the Major "The Dorrington didn't go down. Plus, that isn't our tradition. The captain of his ship has a responsibility to take care of his crew, above all else. That means continuing to lead them even after they leave the boat.", said Ceratch. The display found it's way to the news networks quickly.
"How many personell were killed in the air-strike?", asked Andertol to the Protectorate Commander, Blinn. "I think we killed about 58. The order issued by the C.A. was to hit personell. It seems that the 'M10s missed a lot.", said Blinn "What the bloody hell is the C.A. think it's doing? We *don't* slaughter conscripted personell. We don't do it! Hello, Article 5 of the Zagckza Treaty? It says: Conscripted Personell are to be taken as prisoners whenever possible, since they pose less of a threat than volunteers! This is like shooting civilians.", he said. There was pause and then he continued, "Kohastar might just step out of the way of this stuff, but I *will* use overrides if I disagree with something the C.A. decides to do. I don't just stand-by when something like this happens. I don't know what piece of programming in there evolved to 'shoot first and ask questions later'. But it's causing some serious problems and it is going to stop. Now I know, this isn't your fault Doroy, but you're the most direct connection to the C.A. without taking the tube out to the Ops Building in Ellias and chatting it up with the thing there. So just to let you know, I think it's time the C.A. do one of those Kohiyroku cycles or something. Reprogram your damn decision-making process."
"I do understand what you mean. But you must also understand that the C.A. is still very primitive in it's processes. It is reactionary. When enough of it's units get destroyed, it starts ordering massacres and shooting stuff up. It still thinks it is fighting for the existence of the Malych species on this planet from back before the revolution.", said Blinn.
"I don't care what it thinks. I will override every damn military operation it tries to do before it causes any more trouble. The HCPC was totally out-of-the-question, how the hell does it expect to finish the Pargalo situation? It should have though of that before firing away. Kohastar's time here in office is now on the count-down. He's getting himself impeached, he won't stop the C.A. because he doesn't know his pansy wealthy ass from his little narrow face. There is a reason why the old house-system is dead on Dincota, it's because wealth and luck have nothing to do with ability to manage, to make decisions. He can't stand up to the C.A. but I *do*. So this is it. No more.", said Andertol angrily.
"Kohastar does realize that he didn't do what he was supposed to.", said Blinn.
"That doesn't matter. He allowed that brash old computer over there to do some really unreasonable things...", he said as he looked out the window. He continued, "I know why the 'M10s were so inaccurate in their attack on the enemy personell. The 'M10s are naturally very good-natured. Not too long ago there weren't even R-class. They were still Z-class. When they would be destroyed, they would be gone. The C.A. couldn't reincarnate them yet. As a result the 'M10 has a natural understanding of the value of life... The order the C.A. gave to kill conscripted enemy personell conflicted with their programming. So they didn't know what to do. Most of the shots were probably intended to disable and sink the ships."
"Yes, that's right. Interesting that you would know that detailed information. The 'M10s were unable to completely carry out the order and returned errors. So few people know that the 'M10s are naturally docile. I mean, just look at them. They look docile.", said Blinn
"Big boxy cute mechanical dragons with huge eyes. All of their weapons are added onto them. They are accesory, since the unit itself doesn't have any weapons besides it's claws, speed and weight. They don't even have hinged mouths. All they want is to just fly around and naturally evolve themselves over time into units more resembling the form of an organic dragon.", said Andertol as he turned back to Blinn.
