*K'Atyl loosens the draw-string of her hood, folding it back down to re-expose her head. A few more minor adjustments tighten the rest of the cover, making it sag slightly less on her.*

The delegate is lead away to a de-tox chamber near by. There are several clustered just off the bay, for emergency use, such as in a biological or chemical attack that penetrates the bay doors.
The delegates from Baradun are directed into a a stainless steal chamber, the officers being sure not to touch them. From behind thick, high impact glass, the officer speaks into a mic.
"If you will all please remove your suits, and step into the next chamber, you shall be put through our detoxification facility. IF you have any other nano bots on your person, please leave them with your suits. If there are any nanobots attached to your person, other then any that may be sustaining life functions, these shall be removed, as they present a security risk to our ship." as an after thought before turning off the mic, he adds, "Someone should have told you to leave all of your bots at either your home, or with our base personnel." and the flips a switch, and the window goes opaque.
The detox facility consists of a check of your fur by robotic arms and cameras, as well as a final check by furs in high tech chemical suits. They look through your fur through blank masks, cameras in the mask magnifying the fur. After checks are completed, you are given suits that fit, as well as these..
"They are called FLEA collars. It's some acronym or something that i cant recall right now, but they shall emit a contained emp field, and prevent any nano tech from functioning. As soon as you put them on, we shall rejoin the tour."

The delegates from Baradun roll their eyes almost in unison as they comply with the orders from GBWT's personnel and the lead nanotech technician talks non-chalantly as they're put through the checks.
"You are aware, right, that the actual danger..." The fox urfs as one of the arms reaches for a rather sensitive bit of anatomy, "...posed by the bots is smaller than, let's say, a small internal-combustion engine. The size of the increadibly small number of particles that they give off are," The arm grabs his tail and he snarls at it, "WELL large enough to be caught by a standard HEPA filtration unit."
As he's handed the collar he looks at it quizzically and sighs, putting it on and retrieving the suit from the officer. He's not concerned that he's only in his fur, but the human is turning and distinct hue of red as he takes the suit and puts it on.

The officer addressing the group, a gecko, explain. "It's not the bot's contaminates, or even their lethality we're concerned about. It's their use as a spy tool that concerns us the most. You are being given a tour of facilities that until recently, no one but those that worked on them knew about. In the coming months, their existence shall slowly be released to the public. IF you recall, you signed several non disclosure forms before even getting onto the base. I trust that in the coming months only you and your superiors shall know of what you see." With that, the gecko turns and leads the way back to the group, with the guards who had left to escort them there and back.
As they rejoin the ship, the Admiral begins the tour in earnest. "Ladies and gentlemen, I again welcome you to the Great Big Wet Thing Flagship, the Nautilus. What you have just passed through was one of 3 loading bays. There is another on the opposite side of the ship, as well as one in the front. The massive doors are sized so as to allow large amounts of cargo of all sizes to easily move on and off the ship. If you will follow me, we shall move to the bridge, where we shall start with a technical overview of the ship as we take off." He moves down the spacious corridor, and i say spacious as it is possible for 4 furs to pass shoulder to shoulder down the hall, as compared to modern battle ships. They move down the hall, passing closed bulkheads and to an elevator. It's also larger, but the group must take two, so the group is divided up randomly, and half go in one, and another half in another.
The elevators have recessed rings, so as to hook down materials that are moved through, and what looks like railings that can extend out during times of zero G. There is gravity right now though, and the elevator moves up words. coming to a stop, the Admiral steps off and leads the rejoined group to the right, and stops just outside a double door, labeled "Bridge"
"Now, i ask that you don't disrupt our officers during take off. you will find seats to your left and right, and you may strap your selfs in. For those of you that ate just before coming, there are barf bags under the seats." He steps back and the doors open. "Welcome to the bridge of the Nautilus."
All around the large room, furs, scalies, and humans sit at computer consuls, monitoring ship status, and making final checks for lift off. A female Hare walks up, and salutes the Admiral. "Sir, all systems green. we are ready for lift off at your command." As she speaks, all the furs on deck turn to look at the admirl, admiration in their eyes.
The admril returns the salute and takes his position in the Captains chair, a large thing with several screens and keypads on the arms. Several furs help the representatives into their seats as the Admiral makes final checks and inquires. "Gladis, are all hatches locked and secured and all personnel present and accounted for?"
A soothing female voice comes over the speakers. "affirmative Admiral."

Inasto buckles her seat belts. "Thoughts?" she asks quietly.
"Its big," replies Nelson in a monotone voice. "I am wondering about its propulsion systems. I am highly doubtful it uses chemical rockets. Ions wouldn't have enough power without most of the ship being reactors."
"No clues from their landing?"
"Nothing definite."
As the other reps finish settling in, Captain Inasto once again looks around at those present. "Looks like we all made it as the good omni-present voice indicates. Now what?"

"Now," the Admril says, glancing back, "we take off." he turns back to face the bridge. "Gladis, exterior forword view screens up on main monitiers please."
huge screens, wrapping around the entire fromt of the bridge come to life, an inmage of the landing strip out front shown. "Ok, crew, lets take this bird up." An informal comand, but it is understood, and the ship comes to life with a hum, and the thrumming heard when they came in can be heard from the bowls of the ship. The runway slowly starts to fall away as the ship riases into the air. With ever increasing speed they lift off, and start to accel in a forword direction. It takes only a few short minets to reach the atmosphere, while the G-forces on the ship are simmiler to a rapidly accelerating car, or one of GBWT's bullet trains. As the ship gets higher and higher, gravity has less and less force on the ship and it's ocupants, and as loose articals on the passangers begin to float from their bodies, railings extend down from the celings, walls, and floors. Most start at doors, and travel the coridors and places where crew are expected to go. the captin unbuckles his own restrain and floats off his chair. Useing his wings, he can easily manuver around the bridge, and furs nearby the passangers watch carefuly to make sure that they dont get sick...

K'Atyl handles the loss of gravity with no problems at all - as might be expected of a bird, she seems completly unaffected, and the ability to grip with feet as well as hands makes manovering easier. After a few minutes of drifting around learning how to use her wings for fine positioning, she settles down with the other visitors against a handrail.

Baradun's delegation blink, looking a little puzzled at the loss of gravity but taking it with surprising ease, only one of the rabbits having to take deep breaths as they enter microgravity, blinking away the nausea. After the all-clear is given then slowly move to approximate standing positions, the human taking the first move and jumping a little quicker than he'd expected at a nearby rail, almost bouncing his head on it as he stops himself just short.
They all get into a cluster close to Vyl's representative and rest there, taking in their first real taste of zero-g.

Nelson and Inasto do the space equivalent of strut out of their seats to the hand rails, rotating purposefully on two axies. Moves that are basic training for Tinisian flight officers to practice environmental self awareness. Those that can't get their bearings after spinning as such in zero gravity are usually not allowed any important duties on Tinisian space missions as far as maneuvers go. But the two Spaceforce officers have hundreds of hours of flight experience and five times that amount in limited zero-g terrestrial training.
The two furs find their way opposite the main group, steading themselves on the hand rails before letting go and awaiting a continuation of the tour as they float nearly motionless near the wall. Of course its, not their intention to show off, but force of habit.

The captin seems to have no trouble at all moveing around, having spent so much time in orbit. "I apologise for the inconvience of zero gravity. Of you'll move into the hall, we shall help you learn to move in this enviornment enough so that you can move around with more ease. When we move to the satilites and another ship, you will experiance simulated gravity. As this is a first generation ship, one of the oldest in our fleet now, it has not been outfited with the gravity simulators. Now, if you'll move into the hall..."
In the hall, there are sevral scalies and humans, 2 iguanas, male nad female, 2 hmans, again male and female, and a geco male, in waiting to asist them.

After the guests become accustom to the gravity enough so as to move around, the Admiral leads them a view screen on the port side of the ship, passing several crew members. "Here, you'll be able to see us docking with the Orbital Space Platform the Sunrise. It is one of our most powerful. A particle beam is generated in the reaction chamber that extends through the middle of the platform. When this reaches a critical point, it discharges to the point that we aim it at. There are other technologies involved, but these are classified." He has turned on the view screen, a flat panel set into the wall. You can see the platform, a disk shape with a tube like structure though the middle, like a wheel and axle. It's about the size of of a football field and a then some in diameter, and almost as much tall with the tube. A docking bridge extends from the ship and one from the platform, guided by lasers, small adjustments are made, and the ships dock softly.
"If you'll follow me, we'll board. Again, feel free to take pictures to take home." He pushes off a wall and drifts down the corridor, the others being helped along by other crew members. Once down the hall and a few disorienting twists and turns, they float to the floor at the boarding chamber, looking down the corridor to the station about 30 meters away. "This is where some of the only gravity technology has been installed on the ship, to easy in transition of persons from the ship to the station. The gravity is at about one third it's regular strength along the tunnel, and will increase as we walk along." And he sets off down the corridor, a thin skin of steal plating, insulation, and cloth keeping him from the vacuum of space.

K'Atyl follows, shifting awkwardly from floating to low-gravity walking - not so graceful now, bouncing slightly and almost tripping over her own toes until she adapts, requireing quick help at one point to remain upright. Though its hard to read any expression on the inflexible beak, she seems slightly disapointed at reentering gravity.

As they adjust to the gravity, Nelson and Inasto click off a couple pictures of the view of the platform and a few more of the gravity corridor.
"Very advanced bits they have here," comments Inasto. Nelson remains silent.
They glide into the gavity area with the rest of the tourists, giving K'Atyl room once its obvious the avian is suddenly less than optimal during the gravity change.
Finaly Inasto speaks up loudly enough to be heard by everyone. "Quick question before we go in, but, how long did the space assembly phase of all of this take?"

the admiral shrugs. "That depends one what you're talking about. Individual satellites varied with size and complexity. This particular one took 8 months, from when construction began on the ground until it was fully assembled and in orbit. Others took less, or longer. The automated satellites defending the bigger platforms went up in dozens. Their exact number will remain classified. As you may know, our space program started in 1603, when we managed to put a being into space, and bring them home safely. since then, this is where we've gotten. Now, when we enter the Sunrise, it will be preparing to fire for demonstration. We've set up some dummy targets in a fake city on one of our islands. Therefor, you will not be permitted into the control room. we'll be watching from the mess hall where a projector will display several different camera angles, some on this station, others from other satellites and on the ground." He leads the way across the bridge as two officers assist the Vyl rep so that she does not fall.

The door opens as they approach, the thick bulkhead sliding silently to the sides. It's actually a set of double doors, and by the time that the group has reached the far side, gravity has returned to normal, and there is a greeting party of several officers and privates that were off shift. They salute as the Admiral enters, a salute eh returns, and smiles to himself as he sees the party at attention. he's one who takes pride in all the shiny metals and the sleek uniforms of the Space Forces. "Welcome to the orbital platform Sunrise."
The room they have entered into after leaving the boarding plank is slightly more then one story tall, and has white paneling along with a temporary red draping from the ceiling, to give it a more grand air. The double doors close as the last reps enter, and the escorts from the Nautilus stay behind and return to their ship. New escorts, several of the privates from the Sunrise, take their place. There is a larger number of fur covered firs on this craft.
An officer addresses the group as the admiral is lead away to a side room to be briefed on firring preparation. "I am Captain Sherka. I will be your new guide for the duration of your stay on the Sunrise." The officer is a female Lemur, in her early to mid 20's.
