In order to facilitate the role playing experience, I have taken up the duty of managing the map of the Furry Federation. If you're nation is not represented on this map, do not fret, simply go to the general discussion board and visit the map thread and describe your nations geography there in. I try my best to use as much of the information that your provide as possible and will of course will take suggestions for improvement. The map is always a work in progress as more members join so don't take the geography that is not currently inside someone's boarder seriously.
I have also tried to make it as readable as possible, but alas, there are always problems in that department. I've provided a key near the central bottom of the map to assist in understanding the terrain and name colors.
Currently the map contains:
Tinis
Ciata (as described)
Vylland (as described)
Drastrata (as described)
Llewellynlland (as described)
K IV (as described)
Shikeishuu (as inferred)

To assist new players in placing themselves on the map, here is the political map with some climate markers to help you figure out where you would like to be. Of course, these markers are not set in stone, and most only guessed at. www.geocities.com/izixs/ffclimate.jpg [Thanks to Miokalias player for the updated map!]
Also note that I try to keep the sizes of the nations on the map relative to their size as compared to their population. A little variation is natural of course, an no active nation will ever be made minescule unless requested. Defunct nations are given territory appropriate to their importance before they disapeared from nation states. Any nation that is on the map as existing that then goes under, shall retain its current boarders until the nation is either incoperated into another nation, but its geography shall not change. Defunct nations that don't get on the map until they disapear are up for reasonable changes as need be.
---NOTE---
To help prevent ultra expanding from being a problem, I've laid de facto claim for most of the continent for new nations. I've left open some desert areas, the region around the south east corner, and if enough people ask, can open up other areas. But this will help keep the federation RP focused more on interaction, as opposed to land grab races.
